One of the best examples of friends to strangers to “enemies” to lovers. Despite being technically enemies they still help each other through the game. The way they talk to each other is extremely telling of their relationship. You can really just feel the tension between these two. The fact Phoenix becomes a lawyer just to have a chance at seeing Edgeworth again(after knowing him for like a few months when they were kids).The whole “unnecessary feelings” line Edgeworth gives. The unwavering trust Phoenix puts in Edgeworth through the last case of the game.

Elim Garak/Julian Bashir:

The actors both consider the ship to be canon and have actually preformed fanfiction with the characters as a couple before. It called "Little Achievements" and it's posted on Sid City's YouTube page.

Andrew Robinson (who played Garak) has straight up said that multiple of his lines were delivered with romantic intent.

Okay, if you are any form of Andrew J Robinson, Garak, Gahsir, or A Stitch In Time fan you have to read Andy's memoir Stepping in to the Light no matter what format you can get it in. (And the more legit sales, even an e-book, says we want more)

You already know he's a great writer and you'll get plenty of tidbits that you can see showing up later with Garak and ASIT.

Julian falling, face first on something that will most definitely hurt, but Garak just stops him in time with his tail. Julian just grabs onto it, kinda shook that his fall was stopped and don’t move so Garak has to rise him back on his feet.

After that Garak is just all blushy and shit because he always kept his tail hidden but the circumstances “forced” him to put it out. But Julian is really appreciative for the help and spends time admiring his tail because it turns out the scales are slightly different but also beautiful.
