Muttering obscenities under her breath, the agitated witch half-hopped but mostly stumbled over another tomcat feasting on discarded street food. In the wake of Christmas, the tapering pavements of Hogsmeade were crammed with last-minute panic buyers laden with shopping bags.
One obstacle away from losing her footing on the mushy snow, she slipped into a familiar backstreet and pushed open the door to G.W. Potions.
The owner had his chin propped in a knotgrass-stained hand, scribbling in an overflowing notebook. Glancing up as the door chime announced her arrival, he broke into a wide smile.
"You're a lifesaver, you know that?"
“I know, I got your message,” Her eyes scanned the clusters of wax-sealed phials, the timber shelves much less packed than usual. "It sounded urgent, I believe your exact words were 'dire need’?"
"I might have been a little dramatic, I’m just running low on stock," Garreth admitted sheepishly. His mop of copper hair tumbled over his brow and he attempted to tame it with his cleanest hand. "I hope I haven’t disrupted your Christmas Eve? I wasn't sure if Friday was the last of your rounds."
"No, no you're fine. I was heading through to Gladrags for a delivery,” she lied.
She'd exchanged firm words with a few demanding clients who assumed she'd be available over the holidays but couldn't bring herself to impose the 'no-deliveries' rule on Garreth—a choice that felt counterproductive to the crush she'd been attempting to curb for months.
She justified it as a reciprocation of the kindness he’d shown her on previous deliveries—slipping tonics in her satchel whenever she offhandedly grumbled about a sleepless night with an orphaned thestral, or an inflamed laceration from a scrappy kneazle. He’d refuse payment, only asking she mark his map with shrubberies of ingredients she spotted while out raiding poacher camps.
She assumed this raised their relationship from business associates to something that resembled a friendship, and friends could bend the rules for each other without ulterior motives.
"Sorry, this time of year isn’t the best for shedding" she explained, sliding a folded cloth over the countertop. Pulling the edge back, she unveiled a modest bouquet of dense black fur. “Though Remi felt somewhat generous after I bribed him with the promise of coins.”
“So, you’re the middleman between me and a niffler?” His face lit up with one of those heart-stopping smiles, and she prayed that the twist in her gut wasn't reflected on her face. “What’s in it for you?”
"I figured having you owe me a favour couldn't hurt.”
"Favours are quickly becoming our preferred method of currency." He pivoted towards the excessive collection of potion stations, gathered beneath a 'staff only' sign swinging from a crooked nail. The cauldrons rattled on their supports, releasing densely packed bubbles that burst with trapped steam.
The witch slipped a finger in the weave of her scarf, easing it slightly to allow a breath of fresh air to caress her neck, “Are you rebranding as a sauna?”
"Sorry, I know it's sweltering back here," Garreth's eyes skimmed down the curve of her neck as she discarded the scrap of fabric. Stealthy enough, but stoking her hope nonetheless.
Clearing his throat, he shifted his focus to transfer a trio of niffler hairs into his mortar, along with a few drops of mallowsweet oil. "Any guesses today?"
She inhaled the spiralling vapour rising from the cauldron as he wafted the fog in her direction—there was a botanic scent of mandrake, tangy undertones of mint, and berries.
Wiggenweld? ...No, wrong colour, but it’s definitely medicinal.
“What kind of health tonic needs fur?” She eyed him accusingly. "Is this a trick question again, one of your experiments?"
His eyebrows lifted faintly, and a wave of pride washed over her when appeared impressed with her deduction. "I’ve sold out, and the snowstorm wiped out most of the dittany. I'm trying to brew a healing potion without it. Hence the..." He motioned toward the array of vessels stacked on his workstation, covered in a thick layer of curdled gunge. "I've almost cracked it... I'm pretty sure."
"It's interesting that healing potions are so in demand when everyone's spending extended time with their families."
"If everyone's relatives are like mine, I’d say it makes sense." Garreth rolled up his garish crimson sleeves to cool down, inadvertently warming her up with his toned forearms. He was the only wizard in a hundred-mile radius who could wear such a hideous Christmas jumper and still manage to attract several double-takes from captivated passersby. "When I dominate my niece at Pictionary, I always end up with a black eye."
"How old is your niece?"
"Three."
He gnawed on the inside of his lip, restraining a grin the way he typically did when having made her laugh. “What about your family, will you need medical assistance over Christmas?"
The herbology cabinet groaned in protest as the pair leaned against it, "The odds are high, but only because I’m spending my Christmas with a teenage hippogriff. Someone's got to stay at the sanctuary, and I drew the short straw this year”.
"Well, aside from a few hours at my folks tomorrow, I'll be here restocking. I won't be open to the public, but if... you know, if you need anything..."
His eyes lifted to meet hers, and tension coiled in her gut, shooting south at the thought of being alone with him in the locked store.
"Thanks," she said quietly.
"Yeah... of course," Garreth severed the eye contact, redirecting his attention to pick at the corroded hinges of the cabinet. "Sirona’s open over the holidays too."
“Oh... is she?”
He dove into a thorough breakdown of the Three Broomsticks festive menu. She nodded in amusement as he unnecessarily mimed the dimensions of the portions. She tucked away the knowledge that he worshipped turkey and cranberry burgers to the collection of other useless but endearing facts she'd gathered about him.
His cocktail of choice was red currant rum - She’d bumped into him on Halloween thoroughly intoxicated on the stuff. He’d feigned firing a toy arrow in her direction before proudly proclaiming he was Robin Hood, enunciating all the wrong words with the goofiest grin.
He outright denied being allergic to cats, inspecting the collar of each feline that decided to nap in a sunbeam on the steps of his shop, cooing their name before inevitably succumbing to three consecutive sneezes.
His family tree had long branches. On his opening weekend, she'd waded through a sea of proud redheads to reach the kiosk and hand over her business card.
"...Anyway, I wanted to mention it because, you know, if you’re alone for... well, not alone, but if you'll be around..."
Heat flared at the bottom of her spine, cautiously optimistic his rambling was veering toward an invitation.
A blast of glacial wind burst through the doorway as a customer wrenched it open. A light dusting of snow clung to his robes as he crossed the shop floor to the cabinet housing the erotic potions, taking a moment to tuck stray wisps of silvery hair into his hood.
Garreth's lips tightened into a taut line as he observed the elderly wizard pulling the entire supply of lust potion vials from the rack.
His thumb brushed his upper lip as he leaned in close, his elbow jostling her arm. "Do you reckon he takes them all in one go?"
"He'd orgasm from a pat on the head."
"Orgasm? My guy would be flung into the astral plane.”
She butted her forehead against his shoulder, struggling to transform her snort into an ill-concealed cough.
"I should get going, give you two some privacy."
"Attraction has to be in the fold for those potions to do their thing, and he's not my type," Garreth's eyes flitted to her lips, but the tinkling of thirteen phials skidding across the kiosk drew them away.
She reluctantly bundled back up into her scarf while Garreth seamlessly transitioned back into storekeeper mode.
"Have a great Christmas."
"You too, see you next time," he waved at her, turning his attention to the eager customer.
The witch spent her evening re-stitching the ruptured wound of an adolescent Hippogriff, the beast fluctuated between snapping at lacewing flies and charging aggressively toward its caretaker.
Collecting the fallen feathers from the creature's wings, she updated the ledger with the newfound stock, clucking her teeth disapprovingly at the sight of the diminishing list.
What did Garreth say was in short supply? Dittany?
During last week's Hippogriff rescue, she recalled noticing shrubs nestled in the mouth of a cave. It was a harsh winter, finances were stretched, and adding dittany to the stock during a surge in demand would ensure the creatures' comfort for the remaining winter months. Not to mention, it provided a convenient excuse to take Garreth up on his offer of dropping by.
After feeding the remaining beasts and wrapping them snug in warming charms she headed off to investigate.
Her destination wasn't far—a short ride up a shallow mountain. However, the wind thrashed against her broom. The bristles and handle careened in wildly opposing directions as she blundered through the dense forest, with a lumos scarcely penetrating two feet of the blistering snowstorm.
She sought refuge by the wreckage of a stone cottage, navigating through twisted roots and debris until she reached the cavern. Her nose wrinkled at the musty stench emanating from the path ahead, barely visible through a shroud of thick cobwebs. With a silent prayer that this was the right spot, she ignited the tangled web with a tap of her wand, the smouldering strands lit the passage and in the fleeting light, she saw a twitch in the shadows.
She’d barely uttered the Lumos incantation before a force erupted from the shadows, striking her face and propelling her into a bank of tightly packed snow. She desperately palmed the moisture flooding her vision, pale fingers smothering in the warmth of her blood. The forest whirled around her as she was hoisted into the air and slammed back to the ground.
She blindly blasted the acromantula into crumbling ruins with a frenzied swish of her wand. The arachnid recoiled from the thunderous blow, sprawling onto the ground before burrowing beneath the earth.
Scouring the terrain for any indication of the beast, a trail of crimson droplets stained the snow as she backed away, a ferocious blast of icy wind lashing at her throbbing wound.
Wiggenweld, I need wiggenweld.
The invasive thought tore through her mental image of the sanctuary farmhouse as she apparated.
Ploughing shoulder-first into a weathered door, the impact reverberated through her bones, pinging her brain around in her skull.
The skunky stench of wizzenweed curled into her nostrils, mingling with the sharp reek of spilt beer she'd stomped into and splattered up her ankles.
She swiped her hand across her eyes to smear away the blood and the harsh click of a lock snapped her back to reality—back to Hogsmeade.
Mellow candlelight exploded like a flashbang as a door creaked open, and a broad figure silhouetted against the orange glow said her name.
"Garreth?"
Humiliation struck her chest like a knife—a solid blow between her lungs. Tacky blood clung from her eyebrow to the corner of her mouth, pulling at her skin as she fought to articulate an explanation.
“What happened to you?”
"I'm so sorry, I tried apparating home, but the… it was a mistake. I needed wiggenweld… but the shortage, that’s what you told me, so I thought of you, and, I could've splinched…”
"Whoa, take a breath, you're talking a mile a minute.”
Garreth’s hands were firm on her shoulders as he steered her towards the counter and settled her on his chair. Flames from the brewing station twinkled in and out of focus as she tried to hone in on him dragging an extra stool across the floorboards, taking a seat in front of her.
"This doesn’t look like a hippogriff wound. Did someone do this to you?"
“N-no, no I was just being reckless… I did this to myself.”
She quivered as the crook of his warm finger tipped her chin up, assessing the cut with suspicious emerald eyes.
"I'm sorry," she momentarily forgot how to breathe as his thumb traced a slow path up her cheekbone. "I didn't mean to bother you. I probably have some healing tonic in a drawer at home..."
"Stop with the apologies, I told you to drop by if you needed anything, didn't I?"
A stack of flannels rested beside a simmering cauldron. He reached for one, tilting her face as he dabbed at the coagulated blood.
"It’s not as bad as it looks,” he declared, slinging the cloth over his shoulder. He scratched his forehead, a streak of crimson smearing across his freckles. "It's not too deep. If you'll let me, I could stitch some of the shallower parts back together?"
She nodded, fighting back a soft sound when he applied the tiniest bit of pressure to her throat to keep her steady. The flesh throbbed as the tip of his wand traced down the wound, his copper lashes fluttering with concentration.
It felt glaringly obvious she was intentionally avoiding eye contact. She studied the awkward, rigid dance of the misshapen reindeer on his jumper as a distraction, scattered patches of burnt fabric lay strewn in their path. Some splashes of the corrosive substance had scorched through completely, frayed fibers exposing freckles scattered across his breastbone like tiny constellations.
“You shouldn’t be wearing this.”
He quirked an eyebrow, "What would you prefer me in?”
Her complexion transitioned from deathly pale to a fiery red in seconds, "No, I just mean... the stains. They look like they’re irritating your skin," she said, reaching out instinctively. Her fingertip traced around an exposed patch of inflamed skin, causing Garreth to inhale sharply.
The atmosphere shifted. His dilated eyes locked onto hers as she glanced up and tension rippled between them, her freezing hand poised on his chest while he cradled her jaw.
Tender fingertips brushed aside strands of wet hair that clung to her cheek. "Are you going to tell me what happened?"
"Spider," her voice barely rose above a whisper before she cleared her throat lightly. "Set its house on fire."
"Rescuing a beast?"
She responded with a noncommittal hum.
I flew up a mountain in a storm and set an acromantula on fire to find Dittany because you mentioned it briefly.
She'd be carrying that one to the grave. Or reserving the tale for their grandkids—hinging on whether the trauma scrambled her brain enough to ask him out for a drink on New Year's.
The hold on her lungs slackened as Garreth rose to his feet and fetched a trio of potions from a lofty shelf, "Murtlap essence for minor skin abrasions and it will stop you from bruising, a calming draught for shock, and this one’s for internal damage. You don't seem to have a concussion, but just in case." He arranged them on the desk alongside a clean glass before adding "They're not renowned for their flavour, you're better off taking them all at once."
With a weak expression of gratitude, she swallowed the amalgamated concoctions. The blend curdled on her tongue, flopping into her stomach like a sodden lump of wet cement.
Garreth chuckled at her attempt to conceal a grimace. "You should recover fairly quickly, but just in case, is there someone back home who can make sure you're taken care of tonight?"
"No, I run the sanctuary with a friend, but she's at her Gran's for Christmas," she fidgeted with the hem of her coat. If she had been seriously hurt, nobody would have had a clue where to find her, let alone bother looking. "It's just me.”
Garreth nodded, twirling his pestle in circles inside his mortar. She sensed his question might have been an indirect hint for her to leave.
Swallowing down her disappointment, she rose to her feet. "Well, thank you for coming to my rescue. I’ll—"
“You should stay here tonight,” he interrupted before she could finish her sentence, pivoting towards her with hands on his hips. "I just… I don't think you should be left alone after something like this."
"Here?” She stared at her mud-splattered work boots to try and conceal the blood swarming her cheeks. “Are we supposed to top and tail on your brewing station?"
"I live above the shop. You can take the bed, I sleep on the sofa most nights anyway – I can grab you some dry clothes too."
Her overactive imagination slashed through the depths of her mind leaving behind tattered shreds of unadulterated filth. Sleeping in his bed, swaddled in one of his knitted pullovers – was he trying to kill her?
"Didn't know you were such a night owl," she deflected, anxiously nibbling on her lip as the storm screamed past the window.
If he’d detected her brain being filthy, he wasn't letting on. Swinging open a cabinet door, he produced a bottle of billowing crimson liquor, suspending it between two fingers. "I got some red currant rum from a customer. Given that it's technically Christmas Day, perhaps we should celebrate?"
"Is it that late?" She craned her neck to check the time—twelve o’ twelve. "Was this whole white knight act just a way to lure me into keeping you company on Christmas?"
"Act? Come on now, are we just going to pretend you didn't think of me on your deathbed?"
The calming draught had worked too well, eclipsing any hint of shame she might have felt from that comment with the flicker of bad intentions in his eyes.
"You seem more than happy to receive me."
The cupboard beneath the potion station emitted a groan from its corroded joints as Garreth began searching for a pair of untarnished glasses.  "What can I say? I have a thing for women covered in blood," he paused, peeking over the door, "I swear I’m not going to murder you, that joke came out wrong."
She laughed as he polished water spots from the vessels with his gaudy jumper and placed them next to his replenished stock—rows of incandescent fuchsia spiralling in heart-shaped containers.
"Luxtentia," she read aloud from the label, a scrap of parchment detailing the trial-and-error process tucked alongside it. "Did I catch you in the middle of trialling new potions?"
“Lust potion,” Garreth clarified, allowing the scarlet alcohol to flow liberally into their cups. "Believe me, you'd be noticing some side effects if I had been testing that."
Tugging at the loose threads of his words felt almost instinctual.
"...Attraction has to be in the fold for lust potions to work," she tilted her head innocently, quoting his earlier words, "Doesn’t it?"
Handing her a brimming glass of the berry-infused cocktail, Garreth took a sip of his own while studying her over the rim. "Did I say that?" He appeared wholly unruffled, and a twist of arousal lit her up at the fact.
"Word for word."
He tapped a finger against his drink thoughtfully, "Would it work both ways?"
She let the back of her head thump against the barren shelf, half-hoping the collision might knock some virtue into her. No such luck. "Do you want to take me upstairs and find out?"
His grin was blinding, and a delicious anticipation blasted into her. An unspoken dare hung in the air, both silently challenging the other to make a move. He gave in first, reaching out to collect two vials of the blushing potion and pressing them into her palm.
"Your move."
She feigned a thoughtful pause before digging her nails into the stoppers and pouring a vial into each of their beverages.
Raising his glass with a wild glint in his eyes, she tapped hers against it before they knocked back the entire drink in perfect unison.
Sparks charged down her oesophagus as she set down the glass, and her clothes clung to her skin like she'd been dunked in honey. Was that the potion? What an insufferable side effect —though the logic became apparent as the urge to strip away every layer waged war against a rapidly declining sigh of restraint.
“Do you feel anything?”
Garreth’s voice burrowed under her skin – Was it always that deep-rooted and husky? If his voice was making her wet, actual sex might ruin her.
His face swam when she glanced up at him, features swirling like the post outside Madam Snelling's Tress Emporium. She couldn’t feel anything except how her skin was so tight she might rip out of herself. “I… feel drunk.”
His hand crept towards her in excruciatingly slow motion, each passing second punctuated by a thousand splintering cracks of her heart against her ribcage.
The warmth of his fingers on her wrist seeped through her clothes and scattered like white-hot stars beneath her skin. In her mind's eye, she watched those fingers tugging at the roots of her hair, tightening around her throat, satisfying the desire swirling between her thighs – Oh, she was fucked.
"Look at me," Garreth crooned, oblivious to the fact that his words were licking at her like flames. He kept talking, something about a rose, but his words were swallowed by the ringing in her ears.
"What?" she asked, dumbfounded by the cascade of words pouring from his lips.
“Your cheeks are all rosy, are you warm?”
His voice. His fucking voice.
She thrust the heel of her palms into her eyes, but his scent clawed into her lungs— Mallowsweet and shrivelfig fruit, blending with the smokiness from the ever-burning stove. She wanted to bury her face in the crook of his neck, to trace her tongue along his pulse until she could taste it too.
“Sweetheart?”
He had never said that before, only ever referring to her by name. When she cracked open her eyes, she saw that his were feral, locking onto her like a predator sizing up its prey. His pupils were blown out, the vibrant emerald engulfed by black.
Her uneasy laughter cut through the fog, hands instinctively reaching out until she found herself pulling him closer by the fabric of his sweater. "Garreth, what the hell is this?"
"I didn't know it was this... intense." His fingers pressed into the burning flesh of her cheeks, unsure whether they were pulling her closer or attempting to keep her at bay. Her tongue chased the pad of his thumb as he swept it across her parted lips. "Do you want me to take you to bed?"
"Apparate us.”
His hands descended to her neck as he drew her to his lips.
A fierce tug deep in her belly wrenched her in every direction as they plummeted into a disorderly pit of tangled blankets. The overpowering scent of his bedroom had her in a chokehold. Her greedy attempt to inhale the air was cut off as he took her lips again, his thigh sliding between hers.
She scraped her nails through his gorgeous hair, tugging the locks at his nape to lick along the sheen of his throat. The salty tang of his restraint was the single most delicious thing she had ever tasted. The groan he let escape reverberated against her lips and she imagined him moaning like that against her ear, his hips grinding into hers.
“Fuck, do that again.”
“I knew it,” her breathy laugh dispersed across his skin as she gave the sleek strands another tug. “You like that?”
"You often think about what turns me on?"
He buried his face in the curve of her throat, seeking out her pulse point. The unexpected pleasure of his bite triggered a sultry whine—she’d never made that sound before, but the potion had flushed out any ounce of indignity. He sucked a bruise into her skin, grinning as she grasped at his clothes in an attempt to pull him closer.
"Take this off, please," she scrambled with the hem. His rock-hard arousal was digging into her stomach and the fabric barriers were driving her insane.
"Don’t bother begging," his words rumbled against her neck as they both shed the constraints of their clothes, "I'll give you everything." His voice was twitchy, cracking apart with lust. An eternity passed before fabric was dragged down her thighs and found a home somewhere in the mountain of blankets.
She could barely feel his fingers—just an explosive shockwave blasting across her body. His other hand gripped the base of her skull, coaxing her mouth open, telling her how wet she was.
"Hear how pretty you sound?"
He added another finger, and stars streaked across her vision as she arched into his touch. Her body responded on pure instinct, thrusting helplessly as he mimicked with his hand what she was almost delirious for.
"My mouth sounds better."
Coarse hairs tickled her skin as she slid her fingers under the waistband of his trousers with the hope that touching him back might appease the hunger.
He thrust into her palm with a needy gasp, and it knocked her breathing shallow. In an instant, she'd pushed him onto his back, running her tongue up the entire length of his swollen cock, before swirling around the head.
The man reclining under her was almost unrecognisable, his untamed hair spilling into his black, wild eyes. Unnatural, jerky shudders wracked through his chest.
Sticking out her tongue, Garreth responded with a primal snarl, seizing the invitation to take control.
"There you go, is that what you want?" he whispered, sliding himself between her lips.
Her eyes welled up at the imposing size of him gliding across her tongue, but she didn’t care. The only thing that mattered was how he was gazing at her like she was the answer to everything—Water in the desert.
She took in as much of him as she could, her wrist twisting around what she couldn't. He was ramming into her too hard, but the potion smoothed out the rough edges, turning it passionate.
Gravelly snippets of praise were spilling from his mouth, and the ruined edge to his voice threatened to make her come from his words alone. A particularly greedy thrust pounded the back of her throat at the wrong angle, and she jerked back with a rasping cough.
In less than a second, she was caged under a warm body. "I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be treating you like this."
"Don't be sorry, make me take it."
"Fucking hell," he groaned, descending her body and parting her legs with his palms.
She latched onto his hair, pulling him towards her lips. "No, not your mouth, I need more."
She knew she was being demanding, he just wanted to reciprocate what she had done for him, but the distance between them felt like too much, and she needed it annihilated.
“You need it?"
He taunted her clit with the head of his dick. She didn't want to waste time, he could go down on her in round two because she was so turned on by him fucking her mouth that she was shaking.
He gently nudged at her entrance, and not a single discernible word occupied her mind. She relied on her needy whining to convey what words couldn't, her nails scraping against his broad shoulders as she desperately sought an anchor.
“I don’t think I can go slow.”
"I don't want slow."
The air was squeezed from her lungs as he sank into her, bottoming out with one stroke. An orgasm struck her instantly but being so overstimulated it scarcely penetrated the fog—just a fleeting flash of lightning between her thighs.
Garreth froze as the aftereffects pulsed around him, whimpers fracturing through his voice as he strained to remain still. "Do you need me to stop?"
"No," she squirmed in an attempt to coax his hips back into action. He twitched inside her, and she gasped, "I want more." Hardly had the words left her lips when he thrust into her with such force that it sent her eyes rolling back.
“Pull my hair again."
“Make me come again.”
The speed he set was almost inhuman as her nails clawed across his scalp and down his neck. She planted her heels on the mattress to gain some control and push back into him, but he grabbed the backs of her thighs, holding her in place—spreading her open under him.
"Is this what you wanted every time you pulled out an excuse to drop by?" His hips stuttered when he looked down at the point where they were connected. She was drenched, dripping with how badly she needed him. Taking a deep breath, he started meticulously inspecting the Gryffindor Quidditch flag above his headboard, resisting the urge to finish before her.
Her heart sped up at his words and she could hear herself producing feathery noises as he extracted pleasure from her, "What took you so long to give it to me?"
"You're too cute, made me nervous," he grinned, seizing her nipple in his teeth, and pulling on it until she whimpered. "Push into me, let me have you."
His restraint oscillated, the tender kisses on her neck escalating into gnawing at her throat. The persistent pounding of his hips matched the increasing intensity, delving into the deepest parts of her with each blissful drag of his cock.
"Moan for me, those beautiful sounds are driving me insane."
This wasn't the Christmas she expected: Garreth Weasley's fingers splayed across her throat, conjuring ethereal pleasure with every precise thrust of his hips.
“Garreth...”
“I know, sweetheart." He withdrew his hand from where he was holding her legs apart, using his thumb to trail a lopsided circle around her bundle of nerves. “Come on, give me one more.”
His voice thrust her over the edge and she felt every part of her orgasm splinter through her body.
"Where do you want me to come?" he asked desperately. She was still in the throes of ecstasy, shivering uncontrollably from the high of watching him falling apart. "Tell me.”
"Come inside me," she said hoarsely. Her body was exhausted and hypersensitive, the only reason she forced herself to stay conscious was to witness him unravel.
An aftershock pulsated around him, and he shoved his face into the crook of her neck as he released deep inside her. His fingers clamped onto her thighs so tightly they throbbed, but she was too drained to muster the strength to push them off.
He lazily circled his hips into hers, as if he couldn’t bear to stop. Interlocking their fingers, he planted kisses across her knuckles. The sweet gesture made her heart stutter, and as her head nestled into a soft pile of pillows, sleep quickly claimed her.
She had a hazy memory of stirring in the night with a heavy arm over her waist and knees nestled into the crook of hers. There was something hard and insistent digging into the small of her back and when she shifted to relieve the pressure, he had whined—fucking whined.
His lips navigated her skin until they found that sweet spot under her ear, and she arched back. He accepted the invitation and slid into her. Reaching around to grip his hair, she tugged hard enough for him to reciprocate the pressure with his teeth on her shoulder. Her chest thrummed against his palm as he held her tightly, murmuring sweet nothings while fucking her slowly. He was half-asleep, but he was himself.
The daylight streamed in, too bright, with flakes purring against the window as they cascaded from the skies. Garreth’s bedroom was snug, nothing more than a bed and a chaotic pile of thumbed potion books scattered across the floor. Rolling over, she discovered a mess of red hair protruding from the green blankets.
“Merry Christmaaaaas,” he groaned, his words muffled by the bedding.
"You should've woken me up and kicked me out. Don't you have plans?"
"Guess how many are over at my folks' for Christmas?" He emerged squinting. "Uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, girlfriends, boyfriends— What’s the headcount?"
She flung an arm across her eyes, shrugging. His ability to nosedive straight into a conversation after just waking up baffled her. "Twenty-two?"
"Thirty-eight. They won't notice if one is late," he started kissing her, slow, sweet, and sinful. "And they won't notice if there's one more?"
She huffed out a laugh at his fearless invitation, "I can't gatecrash, the last thing I want to do on Christmas day is piss off thirty-eight Weasleys."
“My aunt Matilda will be more upset if I turn up alone for yet another year. It's your decision, but I'm impatient. Waiting a whole year to flaunt you doesn't sit right with me."
Definitely a far cry from the Christmas she had imagined.
“I’d love to.”

"It's too much" sneak peek
My next smut will be slightly long... okay maybe too long
...Ok, definitely it will be very long, but let's be honest, many of us love high detailed smut.
Garreth needs help, again. But this time one of his brews will have a special effect on him, Sebastian, and MC. Weasley managed to accidentally create a lust potion that caused a high carnal desire towards the one who drinks it, however, MC will have a different reaction to this potion... I won't say anymore since I don't want to ruin the surprise but...
Those who have a breeding kink better be ready :)
ALL UNDERAGED CHARACTERS ARE AGED UP
Here I'll leave you a sneak peek of the one shot, you can suggest me any idea you have on that pretty little filthy head of yours, I don't mind walking around hell for a while.
Tumblr media
"It's too much" -- A very horny MC
Her swears and whimpers were hush when Garreth moved his face close to her leg, his freckled cheek brushed against her skin, his hand on her knee, keeping her on his shoulder, his breath brushed her flesh and then he bit the soft skin of her leg, causing a small tremble across her body. Garreth left a tiny red mark on her leg, then he bit again in another spot, occasionally licking the little red marks, leaving a wet trail across a small spot on her leg. His lips and tongue brushed and passed through a few battle scars from her last adventures, while his fingers kept her skirt away from his path. “Your skin is so soft… so delicate”
“G-Ga–rreth” her hands shaked, her wrist aching from the tight grip of the rope. She never imagined Garreth would be this… teasing. Part of her hated that small wish to meet more this side of Weasley.
“And you smell so good… just like a treat from honeydukes… but better”
“S-shut up…” She fought against the sweet and needy glare on his green eyes.
“I wonder how you taste…”
“Garreth, stop!”
Sebastian quickly woke up from the trance her whimpers caused on him. His hands kept her steady against his back, grabbing her waist slyly harder than Garreth’s grip on her leg. A hard sigh came out of him when one of his hands slowly moved up again, making her struggle one more. He kept undoing the buttons of her blouse, but this time was slightly different, he was more desperate, which caused to slightly tear the fabric of her blouse, making a few buttons fall to the floor. Her heart skipped a beat. Her white laced bra was now exposed, along with the rounded shape of her breasts behind it, her stomach and belly button. Sebastian bit his lip when her blouse was now open. The warm skin of his hand met her stomach, his thumb sweetly caressed her skin, keeping her sounds low.
“There, there… you are doing just fine darling”
“Seb… please… Don’t do this to me” He hushed her again, kissing her slyly up from her collar bone, licking her neck until he reached her ear, taking the skin between his teeth, which made her tremble. Quickly she noticed her body was becoming too sensitive. It seems the potion was starting to cause its effects on her.
Garreth began to stand up slightly, letting her leg rest on the floor, her feets met the cold wood, his hands traced the curves of her legs, then her thighs, and finally stopped on her hips, close to the start of her skirt. His breath tickled the skin of her belly. He looked up at her, meeting her gaze.
“Garreth…”
“What’s wrong darling?” His voice was a hush whisper from his usual tone. She bit her lip when his words crashed against her abdomen.
“D-don’t–”
“What?...”His hands caressed her hips, meeting the skin between the fabric of her skirt and the flesh under her unbuttoned blouse. “Don’t what?”
Sebastian felt slightly jealous, watching her reactions to Garreth’s touch and words, his possessive side became present. The brunette boy moved the hand that was resting on her stomach towards her chest. A little gasp came out of her when suddenly his fingers touched the  fabric of the bra. He was going to be the first one who would touch her most secret places.
“S-Sebastian!”
Garreth felt her body squirm when Sebastian’s hand met the warm skin of her chest. He watched her expressions while the Slytherin boy teased her with his fingers close to her breasts, toying with the fabric of her bra. His eyes met with Garreth’s eyes, they weren’t friendly but neither threatening, just possessive.
“Are you seriously going to act like this now, Sallow?” A confused sound came out of her after Garreth’s question.
“What? A little competition won’t harm anyone” Sebastian said with a small chuckle.
Garreth took Sebastian’s sudden action as a challenge. With a low chuckle the redhead boy guided his hands to each side of her hips, sliding until they found the starts of her skirt. Another little gasp escaped from her mouth when his fingers slid through the fabric. Her bounded wrists grabbed his red hair, her fingers holding hardly and pulling him away, making him let go a pained groan.
“I forgot how difficult it was for you to keep steady in one place” Garreth whispered against the flesh of her naked belly, knowing this made her squirm.
A tired smirk appeared on his face and he grabbed her wrists, her fingers letting go of his hair, pressing them against her chest. Sebastian quickly took hold of her wrists so Garreth could finish his current task. His hands grabbed the fabric of the skirt. A groan coming from Garreth was heard in the room, but it died under the sound of something being ripped apart. A gasp escaped from her when the cold ambience of the place met her legs. The Gryffindor boy ripped her skirt and let it fall to the floor, revealing her white cotton panties. She quickly closed her legs and fought against Sebastian’s grip.
“No! please don’t–!”
“Easy… easy” Sebastian whispered, wrapping an arm around her while the other moved to her back, slowly going up. Her attention went back to Garreth when now his hands caressed her thighs, trying to spread them.
“Could you open for me?...”
“Never”
“Isn’t the sensation killing you too? please… I can’t take it anymore”
see you soon~

Garreth Weasley being jealous of MC’s ice cream
Happy Weasley Wednesday! This week’s theme is “hot” as voted for on Discord. I haven’t had the time to write a fic for this one, so I decided to do a silly little drabble. I hope you like it! :)

Garreth: *sitting with MC, Sebastian, Ominis, Leander, Natty and Poppy under the shade of a tree on a particularly hot summer’s day*
MC: *casually licking at their ice cream that was quickly melting in the heat*
Garreth: *stares at MC with their frozen treat and bites his lip* Will you lick me like that when you’re finished?
MC: *immediately stops mid-lick and looks at Garreth. Sebastian, Ominis, Leander, Natty and Poppy also stare at him in surprise and confusion*
Garreth: *pauses* I said that out loud, didn’t I? *he gulps*
Leander: *rolls his eyes* Yes you did, mate.
MC: *blushes and looks at their ice cream which is now dripping down their hand* Shit! *licks from their hand all the way back up to their ice cream*
Garreth: Merlin what I wouldn’t give to be that ice cream right now…
Natty, Poppy: Garreth!!
Sebastian, Ominis: *tries and fails to hold back their laughter*
Leander: *looks at Garreth in disbelief* Mate, seriously? Act like a gentleman!
MC: *sits in silence for a moment, then smirks* Maybe you’ll get lucky if you do my potions homework this week *winks at Garreth as they take a purposefully long lick*
Sebastian, Ominis, Leander, Natty, Poppy: *gasps, their eyes wide with horror*
Garreth: *stunned silence, then smirks at MC* You’re on!

Note
I vote Sebastian as the love rival! It would be nice to see Garreth getting picked for once in that wee love triangle!!
Oh noooooo, my sweet Seb. I'm not sure if I can make him the love rival...I would be too tempted to turn it into a Seb fic!
...
...
I have NO willpower 🤣
I am, however, tempted to turn Everett, Andrew Larson, or perhaps 'MC' as a love rival though. (That way, OC would not have ancient magic, and MC would have that lil 'extra' status as the Hero of Hogwarts...)
What do you think?

Crucio (Ominis x GN! reader) HURT/COMFORT
Pairing: Ominis x reader
Warnings: whump, angst, hurt/comfort, fluff, alcohol
Word count: 3.7k
Tumblr media
Summary: When you get trapped in Salazar Slytherin’s room of torture, Ominis is forced to relive past trauma. Not being able to bear hearing the sound of your screams he insists on taking your place.
Authors note: This is the first fic I actually finished, hope you enjoy it. Might be a one shot, but I’m thinking about continuing the story.
Finally, Ominis turned around to face you. His expression softened, his mask melting away, revealing the hurricane of emotions he was struggling to hold back.
 “Please let me do it. I’d rather take the pain that hear you scream. Believe me, you’ll never forget these kinds of screams. I can’t take hearing you suffer. Please, „ he pleaded. It was an impossible choice, but when you looked at him you knew what to do.
“Are you sure about this?”
“I’m sure. Not my first time, remember?”
---
“This is where she died. This is where we’ll die! I shouldn’t have listened to either of you!”  Ominis cried out, his voice unusually shrill. While you were searching for comforting things to say, Sebastian, who had been studying the door finally broke his silence. “I’m sorry about your aunt, Ominis. But I know how to get us out of here. It’s going to be difficult,” he murmured absentmindedly. Unlike his friend, the tall brunette did not seem to be bothered by the situation at all, which could only mean he had already come up with a plan.
“What do you mean you know how to get us out of here?” you asked.
“Look around. Tortured faces on the door and ‘Crucio’ etched into the stone. My guess is if we cast the Cruciatus curse the door will open. That’s why Noctua died - she had no one to cast the curse on. Ominis has the most experience with this. He should cast it. You seem to be in Ominis’ favor. Will you ask him about this?”
Knowing how insensitive Sebastian could be, you agreed and carefully approached Ominis, who was still anxiously pacing on the other side of the room. Before you could say anything, he blurted out, “I overheard you and Sebastian, and I won’t do it. The Cruciatus curse is pure torture - I would know.”
“Sebastian told me a little of what happened when you were young. It sounded as if you had no choice,” you replied, hoping he wouldn’t mind his friend sharing this with you. You still vividly remembered how badly he reacted to finding out you knew about the Undercroft. To your surprise, this time he didn’t even mention it. If anything, he seemed glad that he didn’t have to explain it to you himself.
“One always has a choice. I’m as guilty as the worst of my family. Unforgivable curses won’t work unless you really mean them. I had to want to cause pain and for that I shall never forgive myself. That spell is the reason I have no family left,” he exclaimed frantically.
“You’re not a bad person, Ominis. I know you. You are good. What happened was not your fault, do you hear me? You have to forgive yourself.”
Ominis misty grey eyes filled with tears. “Please don’t make me do it. I can’t. I won’t,” he whimpered and covered his ears with his hands, as if to block out a noise only he could hear.  “I don’t want to. Please don’t make me.”
Shocked by his reaction you immediately started apologizing. “I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t even have asked. We will figure out another way, I promise,” you assured him, softly placing your hand on his arm. Seeing him this upset rattled you, and you wanted nothing more than give him a hug, but he pulled away and sat down on the floor, cradling his head and rocking back and forth. Unsure what to do you looked at Sebastian for help. He gestured with his head to come to him. You felt awful leaving Ominis like this but obeyed his bidding.
“I’m guessing that’s a ‘no’ from Ominis. It’s up to us then. I can teach you Crucio or I can cast it on you.”
“You know how to cast Crucio? Why did you have me ask Ominis in the first place? You know how badly that spell messed him up!” you snapped at him, pointing at his friend who clearly was not doing well.
“I’m not sure I do. But I think I can cast it if I have to. It sure is a better option than dying in here,” Sebastian replied calmly. His composure was truly remarkable, and you were glad that at least one of you was keeping a cool head. Now it was your turn to do your part. You had already made the decision.
“Alright. But you must cast it. I could never bring myself to hurt you. I’m sorry.”
Sebastian nodded and you took a deep breath and closed your eyes, trying to brace yourself for what was coming next. When you opened them again the two of you exchanged a solemn look, and he pulled out his wand. Before he could open his mouth, Ominis had crossed the room, moving with the stealth and swiftness of a cat and grabbed Sebastian’s arm, forcing him to lower his wand.
“Cast it on me,” he demanded, his face an impenetrable mask.
“Ominis, no. He’ll cast it on me,” you protested but the blonde ignored you, standing his ground.
“Didn’t know you’re all so eager to be tortured,” Sebastian remarked dryly.
You recalled what Sebastian had told you earlier regarding Ominis’ experience with the curse. The thought of his family torturing him as a child, made your blood boil with anger, and now he had to go through it again.  Everything inside of you was screaming to take his place but you knew how stubborn he could be. You opened your mouth, ready to argue, but closed it again when you caught Sebastian quietly shaking his head to signal you that you should leave it alone. This way Ominis at least had some control over the situation. The tall brunette took the lead, by pointing his wand and preparing himself to cast the spell.
“Ready?” he asked, looking at Ominis grimly.
“I’m ready.”
Sebastian took a deep breath and his eyes darkened.
“Crucio.”
The second the spell hit him, Ominis groaned and doubled over in pain, his body twitching involuntarily as the curse shot through him in a bolt of cackling red light. The door seemed to feed off his pain, absorbing every single drop of it. You watched with tears in your eyes as he fell to his knees screaming out in agony. Ominis had been right. This was awful. The sounds he made vibrated through your entire body, making the hair on your neck stand up in terror.  Finally, you couldn’t take it anymore.
“Stop it, Sebastian.” you screamed hysterically, your voice breaking but he shook his head again. The door was not open yet. Not knowing what to do you threw yourself on the floor next to Ominis and took his hand, hoping it would give him some sort of comfort. His screaming had died down to a mere whimpering, which for some reason was even worse. You fought the urge to hold your ears to block out the awful sounds coming from the boy on the ground and held his hand even tighter. At last, the door started to melt away, giving way to the room behind it and Sebastian stopped the spell.
Ominis was on his side, his misty eyes staring into nothingness. “Ominis?” you asked carefully but he didn’t react. Sebastian joined you and kneeled next to his other side, checking on his friend. “I’m sorry. Are you alright?” When this too was met with silence you exchanged a worried look with Sebastian. You had both heard the horror stories of people being driven mad by the curse. “Ominis. Say something.” After another 30 seconds that felt like an eternity, he opened his mouth and whispered, “I’m fine.” Slowly, he sat up and a small sob escaped your lips. He was a mess. His face was wet with tears, his hair disheveled and robes covered in dirt. “Don’t scare us like that,” Sebastian grumbled and roughly patted his friend’s shoulder, before getting up and glancing through the doorway. “You have to see this! We made it. We found Salazar Slytherin’s scriptorium.”
Still in shock, you watched Sebastian disappear into the other room, leaving you alone with Ominis. For a moment, you sat in silence, both trying to process what just happened. “Are you really alright?” you asked, even though you could already guess the answer. He most definitely did not look okay. In fact, you had never seen him in such a state before. He was there but not really present. The confident, sassy Slytherin you had gotten to know and love was gone, his body an empty shell. It was like he was trapped in his own dimension of hell, having to relive the torture he went through as a child. He flinched when your question brought him back to reality, then slowly turned his head to face you, “Not really. You?” “Not really.”
You fell into each other’s arms, desperately holding on to each other, trying to find comfort in the warmth of the embrace. You felt his body relax against yours and leaned into him, even more. A stifled sob escaped his mouth, and he buried his head in your shoulder. Following his example, you let your tears flow freely. The sound of his screams still rang in your ears. The sheer agony in his voice was the worst thing you’ve ever heard, and you couldn’t stop replaying it in your head. You needed him as much as he needed you. His arms wrapped around you, holding on to you as if you were the only thing keeping him from drowning.
You let your fingers run through his hair and pressed your face into his neck, inhaling the sweet scent of his shampoo. Your touch seemed to have a calming effect on him, his breathing slowed down and his grip on you weakened. “You’re okay,” you murmured over and over again, like a mantra, unsure if you were saying this to soothe him or yourself. Slowly, the chaos in your head started to ebb down. It was impossible to tell if you stayed like this for minutes or hours but neither of you was ready to let go. Finally, Ominis tightened his grip on you once more before breaking away.
For a moment you looked at each other in awkward silence, both unsure what to say after the intimate moment you had just shared. “Ominis…” you started but he interrupted you. “I don’t want to talk about it. For now, let’s focus on getting out of here.”
With one swift movement he got up and elegantly offered you his hand. A gentleman as always. Glad, that he seemed to be back to his old self again, you let him help you up. After dusting himself off, he took the lead and walked towards the entrance of the scriptorium, with you following close behind. All of a sudden, your gaze fell on the pile of bones in the corner, and you froze. “What’s wrong?” Ominis asked, his voice full of concern. “Your aunt. Her…remains are right behind you.” “Oh.” You guided his hand towards the spot so that he could see it with his wand, watching his face closely for his reaction but he remained expressionless. Then he quietly asked, “Would you mind giving me a minute alone?” It broke your heart how much pain he had to endure in one single night, and you squeezed his arm reassuringly before stepping through the doorway.
When you entered the scriptorium, you were greeted by Sebastian, who seemed to be completely oblivious to what just happened. “What is taking you guys so long? Come take a look at what I found. Slytherin’s spell book. I have only browsed but it looks promising. I think this could be the key to curing Anne.” His eyes sparkled with excitement when he showed you the old dusty tome with Slytherin’s initials on the front.
“That’s great news Sebastian,” you replied, forcing yourself to give him a smile. Of course, you were happy that there was new hope for curing Anne, but the price for this book had been high and Ominis was the one who had had to pay it. Sebastian didn’t notice and enthusiastically continued talking while he showed you around the scriptorium.
“This room is amazing. I could spend hours and hours rummaging through all of these books.”
“Yeah.”
“What’s with the sour face? Ominis is fine, isn’t he?” he grumpily asked, as he turned around to look for his friend, who was nowhere to be seen.
“No. And neither am I. I want to leave. You got what you came here for.” It wasn’t your way to be so cross with him, but you were still on edge and desperately wanted to get away from this place, that was practically vibrating with dark magic.
Sebastian looked at you with a mixture of confusion and defiance. “You can’t be serious? There is still so much to explore.” You let out a deep sigh and prepared to argue, when Ominis appeared at the foot of the stairs, joining in on the conversation. “I agree. Let’s get out of here.” His voice was calm and authoritative, leaving no room for debate. In one hand, he held his wand, the other was clutching a gigantic vase. You furrowed your brows in confusion before you realized what he had been doing while you and Sebastian had been talking. “Is that…?”
“I am going to take her with me. Give her a proper burial.”
Finally, understanding dawned in Sebastian’s face and he gave in, waiting for you to take the vase from Ominis before gesturing to follow him. The exit was hidden in an eerie looking statue of Salazar Slytherin’s face with a snake coming out of its mouth. Sebastian stepped forward and tapped the snake’s head with his wand, causing the statue to rotate and reveal a platform of sorts. “After you.” A few minutes later, when all of you were back in the Slytherin dungeon, Sebastian spoke up. “About your aunt Ominis -”
“Please, Sebastian. All I want is for you to swear never to engage in anything to do with dark magic ever again. You almost got us all killed tonight, with your stupid obsession with the scriptorium.”
“We are so close to curing Anne. I found Slytherin’s spell book in the scriptorium, and I think I saw something that could be useful….”
Ominis face crumpled with pain and disappointment. His best friend truly did not care about anything other than his search for a cure. He turned away from Sebastian, who was still rambling on about some spell he had found. When he noticed that Ominis wasn’t listening he snapped at him, “Why are you not happy for me? I thought you cared about my sister.”
After a long, tiring night, you’d had enough of his selfish behavior and stepped in.
„I know how important finding a cure for Anne is to you, but right now this is about Ominis. We put him through hell tonight, do you understand that? He has every right to be angry at you. You keep putting yourself before everyone else and completely ignore the wreckage you leave in your path.”
Sebastian glared at you, ready to retaliate. “Why isn’t he angry at you then? After all, you convinced him to go in there.”
“I’m sure he is, and he is right to be. Tonight was a mistake. Now take this and find a place to hide it for tonight. It’s the least you can do. Tomorrow we will decide what to do with it. I’m taking Ominis home.” You handed him the vase with Noctua’s remains and held his angry gaze.
“He can find his own way back to the dorms you know. He’s not helpless.”
“Of course he can. I just don’t want him to be alone right now.”
With that you turned around and demonstratively took Ominis hand, interlocking your fingers with his. “Let’s go.” You felt his surprise, but he went along with it and didn’t pull away. Usually, he hated it when people tried to help him in any sort of way, and you almost expected him to snap at you but tonight he was tame as a kitten, letting you lead him down the corridor, away from a fuming Sebastian. He too seemed to be too tired to argue. The sound of your steps echoed through the empty corridors as you walked in silence. When you stopped in front of the entrance of the Slytherin dorms, you waited for him to take charge and decide whether or not he wanted to invite you into their common room. He didn’t let go of your hand when he spoke the password and the gigantic snake revealed the door. After a few seconds of hesitation, he stepped forward, gently pulling you with him and you followed.
You had been here quite a few times with Sebastian, still the elegance and grandeur of the Slytherin common room never ceased to amaze you. The room was filled with eerie greenish light leaking from the windows showing the depths of the black lake. The only sound was the gentle cackle of wood being devoured by the flames. You followed Ominis, or rather let him guide you, to a sofa right in front of the big windows that faced the water. Only then did he let go of your hand and slumped into the soft pillows. You awkwardly waited a few moments before sitting down yourself. Ominis rubbed his face and sighed wearily, “I don’t need you to stand up for me.”
“I know. I just wanted to make it clear to him how wrong his behavior was tonight. I’m so sorry I dragged you into this. I should have never asked you to show us the entrance. This is my fault.”
“I appreciate that. I have already forgiven you. Everybody makes mistakes.”
You raised an eyebrow, knowing full well that Ominis was usually not one to hold back his anger when someone screwed up. His tongue was as sharp as his wits and not something to be messed with, as you knew from firsthand experience. Tonight, he was oddly calm, it was almost unsettling.
“Yeah, but mine almost got us killed.”
“You know me. I’m a thrill seeker,” he replied dryly, making you snort with laughter. Amused by this, Ominis too started giggling and you laughed even harder. It probably was the adrenaline, but you could not stop laughing, both of you cackling hysterically like maniacs. It took you some time to calm down, but the laughter had helped dissolve some of the stress and you felt a little better.
“Glad you have your sense of humor back. Seriously though, are you going to be okay?” you asked solemnly.
“Don’t worry about me.”
“Of course I worry about you, silly. You have been through a lot tonight.”
“Please don’t. I can’t…I can’t talk about it,” he whispered, and his entire body stiffened. Trying to hide how much this affected him he dug his nails into the palms of his trembling hands and avoided your gaze.
“That’s alright. Just know, if you do need to talk, I’m here for you,” you replied softly and placed a hand on his outstretched leg. By now you understood that physical touch had a calming effect on him. It was odd, since he was a very withdrawn person, not like Sebastian, who was rather touchy and comfortable with physical proximity. Ominis was a proper gentleman, always keeping his distance, never intruding your personal space. Yet tonight he really seemed to need the intimacy of human touch.
“There should be some firewhiskey in the globe behind us, would you mind getting it?”
“Are you trying to get me drunk?”
“I’m inviting you to join me for a nightcap.”
“Well, if you put it like that, how could I resist?” you chuckled and got up.
As promised, when you opened the globe, you found an almost full bottle of firewhiskey. You waved the bottle in the air letting the liquid slosh loudly against the glass, to let him know about your find and returned to the sofa, but it was empty. Ominis had made himself comfortable on the floor in front of it, resting his arms on the seat. Following his example, you sat down next to him on the soft carpet and handed him the bottle. He took a deep swig of the bronze liquid and passed it on to you. You took a small sip and coughed, quickly handing it back to Ominis. After another few sips he broke the silence.
“Why are you so kind to me?”
“Because I care about you. Is that so hard to believe?”
“Yes.”
Too tired to talk, you reached for his hand, and he took it. The way his fingers wrapped around yours ever so gently felt like the most natural thing in the world and you felt the urge to never let go of his hand again. For a while you sat in silence, quietly passing the whiskey back and forth, then Ominis spoke up again.
“You know why I like to sit here so much?” He paused for a moment to look at you, waiting for you to meet his gaze. For a moment you got lost in the reflection of the lake in his milky grey eyes. “Because I like the way, the water breaks the light. I can see light and shadow, you know? When I watch the lake, the light is dancing.”
“That sounds beautiful. Tell me about it.”
“It dances with the rhythm of the waves. It’s so soothing it’s like listening to a lullaby. Sometimes, when it’s stormy it gets really fast and erratic, it’s like I can see the thunderstorm.”
Slowly but surely the alcohol was taking effect and he was struggling to stay awake. He rested his head on your shoulder and asked, “Can we just sit here and watch them for a while?" already starting to slur his words a little.
“Ominis?”
“Mhm?”
“Never scare me like that again.”
Instead of answering he nestled his face into your neck and sighed. You rested your head on his and listened to his breathing slow down as he started to fall asleep, still not letting go of your hand. You smiled at his cute little snores before you too drifted off to sleep.

Strumming Hearts // Modern! Sebastian Sallow x MC
Tumblr media
Authors note: another collaboration with @darch7995 , if y’all aren’t listening to her audios idk what all are doing! This is a modern, rocker Sebastian AU with lots of flirting, tension and happy ending I swear! I def might follow this up with a part 2 at some point. Lots of that 2014 tumblr era vibe going on! Also song is “new perspective by P!ATD
Part 2 of fic is here
Link to audio version(s) here!
Part 1; Part 2;
Love you all 💚
Word count: 6k
Warnings: flirting, teasing, mild angst, suggestive language, groping, nothing too intense
“Stupid friends, on a weekday no less, to the stupid club to see a stupid-“ she muttered into her drink as she leaned against the bar to herself as she stirred her vodka cranberry that Natty had thrust into her hands before she wandered off with the rest of their roommates to try and find the band members before the show.
MC hadn’t wanted to come. Not only had she never listened to this new band, that seemingly everyone around her was obsessed with, but she had finals to study for. On top of that, her usually level headed friends like Natsi, Poppy and Imelda seemingly couldn’t keep it together when it came to just 3 random guys roughly their own age with some instruments.
“Bad night?” A voice behind her said almost directly into her ear and she almost dropped her drink from shock.
Whipping around to see whatever asshole had gotten so close that she could feel his breath on her ear - a strong invasion of space in her mind despite being a necessity in the loud and packed club - she prepared the scowl in advance. As she did so she was confronted with a sight that made her question her desire to scold the man for getting too close.
Dark eyes that cut through her like a knife, however upon further investigation were not cold as she expected. They were warm, honey colored flecks near the center and very inviting despite how deep they ran. As if those dark eyes were swallowing her whole in fields of barley at sunset.
Dark hair to go with the dark eyes, perfectfully tousled as if he constantly had a hand running through the unruly locks. It fell around his head in a slightly shorter style than most of the males in the crowded room, but still maintained the rock and roll vibe of the majority of their peers. Towering over her in height and playful smile upon his full lips.
The one thing that shocked her the most was the endless supply of freckles dotting his extremely handsome face. Attractive enough that the words die upon her tongue, reducing her into a sputtering mess.
He was absolutely stunning. And based on his smirk, he knew it.
What had he asked her again? Oh yeah, if she was having a bad night.
“I suppose. This is just not how I wanted to spend my evening” she said with an eye roll as he smiled down at her.
“Don’t like live music?” He asked her curiously.
“I never said that.” She retorted, taking a long sip of the drink in front of her, as his eyebrow raised.
“So you are here for the show-“ he started but she stopped him with fervent shakes of her head.
“I’m here because my friends promised they’d stop asking me to go out for at least a month if I agreed to come tonight. I have finals coming up and it seemed like the better trade off for a month of peace and quiet” she explained with a shrug as she dug in her jacket pocket, desperately searching for her packet of cigarettes.
“Interesting…” he said without elaborating as he watched her fish a cigarette out of her pocket before attempting to find the lighter.
She seemingly came up empty, frustrated as she went to shove it back in her pocket.
“Need a light?” He asked, holding up a lighter, giving it a small shake as she nodded her head. Just before she could grab it from his hand he smirked.
“Might I bum a cig?” He asked.
“I suppose that’s fair,” she said, fishing another out of her jacket pocket as the sleeves slipped down her arms, exposing her dress straps and shoulders. Handing the cigarette into his outstretched hands she looked to him expectantly for the lighter he promised. Upon receiving the cigarette he joyfully passed off his lighter as his dark eyes scanned the recently revealed skin and the exposed top of her dress, making no attempt to hide the way he lingered on her breasts.
She placed it between her lips, lifting the small device up and striking it as she lit the end of the cig before taking a drag. As she went to hand his lighter back she caught some words written on it, and even in the dim lighting of the club she could still make it out.
If you wanna fuck, smile when you give me back the lighter.
Her eyes immediately went wide as he chuckled at her panicked reaction as she handed the lighter back.
“I mostly keep it for the shock factor at this point” he explained as he lit his own cigarette and re-pocketed the lighter as she decided the warmth of the club was not worth keeping a jacket on if he was already attempting to stare. So MC slipped her jacket off her arms and tossed it on the bar's counter.
“You don’t seem like the type to complain if it gets you laid though” she retorted after taking another drag and he smiled.
“Would anyone?” He asked and she took another sip of her drink, realizing he didn’t have a drink in his hand. Nearing the end of her vodka cran, he flagged down the bartender, allowing the curiosity of the character beside her. Not many people would stick around to hang with a girl who seemed as annoyed as her right now.
“Considering most men I’ve picked up in bars aren’t exactly as skilled as they claim, I would say that lighter seems like a walking red flag” she explained with a small grin and instead of getting upset he laughed.
“Perhaps I keep it around as a warning so smart girls like you know to stay away…” he told her and she let out a small laugh at his antics, finally successful in flagging down the bartender.
“What can I get you?” The man asked her.
“Can I get a refill on my vodka cran and a shot of tequila … along with whatever the gentleman wants. And I’ll start a tab” she explained, handing him her card before turning to the man beside her, gesturing for him to order.
Sebastian had been very surprised at her buying him a drink, as usually the girls he met gave him pretty smiles until he got them whatever fruity drink they desired. Instead this very grumpy girl, who he determined didn’t have a clue he was in the band her friends came to see, offered to buy him a drink.
“Uh… Jack and Coke and I guess a shot of tequila if the lady is having one” he told the man who nodded before turning away to grab their drinks.
“Thanks for the drinks. I can’t tell you the last time a lady picked up the tab for me. Pops is probably rolling in his grave for breaking propriety but I know for a fact he wasn’t always a gentleman either” he said with a genuine and intrigued smile.
“I won’t tell him if you don’t… I tend to find myself liking to do the opposite of what everyone else does” she said with a shrug.
“Just to be different out of principle or just a naturally inclined rebel?” He asked as the man set down the drinks in front of them.
“Depends on the circumstances I suppose” she said, lifting the tequila shot, gesturing for him to do the same. “What do you want to toast to?” She asked him as she set her cigarette into the tray on the bar.
“How about a night of being rebels?” He asked her and she nodded well enough, lifting the shot glass and taking a large lick of the salt on the rim as he did the same, the both of them clinking the glasses before tossing their heads back before reaching for the like wedge to bite.
Sebastian enjoyed the way the shot went down his throat and she seemingly did too as she smiled, tossing the lime in the glass and pushing it back.
“Now back to this question… I’m interested in these different circumstances?”
“Like I said it’s unique each time… growing up I tended to be a bit eccentric without thinking on it, so that I would say is natural born rebellion… but sometimes I just like to do the opposite of what everyone else is for the shock factor, much like your lighter” she explained and he nodded, understanding it quite well as he too got in much trouble as a kid and enjoyed the over the top nature for the humor it provided.
“I get that. What kind of things do you differ from the norm just to be different then?” He asked while watching as she took a sip of her drink, and he strategically leaned in closer to her body to hear her better, but also feel the warmth of her skin through his jeans.
“Well I came tonight to see a band I have intentionally been avoiding, despite them probably being the type of music I’d enjoy simply because my flatmates never shut up about them, simply because it’s funnier at this point to double down” she explained with a small smirk playing along her matte painted lips before she reached into the ash tray to retrieve the cigarette, taking a drag. So she didn’t know who he was.
“That’s interesting… I understand the sentiment there quite well… can I tell you a secret” he asked with a mischievous grin and she nodded. He leaned in closer as if this secret was one that was well guarded.
“I have never seen Star Wars and at this point continue to avoid it simply so people freak out when I tell them” he said before leaning back, and just as he predicted she was mouth agape at his confession.
“But that’s, that’s different… I mean come on, it’s Star Wars…” She said, trying to put it together and he smiled gesturing to her reaction and she rolled her eyes as he reached up to her hand, carefully removing the lit cigarette from her grasp with a raised brow and she nodded that he could take a drag as he had long finished the one she had given him while waiting for drinks. He did so, following it up with a sip of his drink and passing the cigarette back to her hand as he noticed the lipstick around the rim.
“Because at this point it’s more fun to watch those reactions like your own than actually watching the movie, I guarantee” he explained and she shook her head.
“You’d be wrong. You don’t even know what you’re missing. It’s like an amazing world with fun characters and epic stories and laser swords. And a whole army of rebels” she explained and the more she spoke the more he watched her cool girl image disappear as a very wholesome, internal nerdy girl came forward and the reaction made his heart beat hard. Extremely unexpected but it was equally adorable.
“I didn’t realize we had such an adamant Star Wars defender in the audience tonight… perhaps I’d be willing to rethink my position on the space opera saga..” he proposed as she took a sip of a drink to cool her warming cheeks.
“Oh yeah, what would change your mind?” She asked, she gestured with her drink as she set it back down .
“You give the band tonight an open mind…” he said with a grin and while he had expected her to go along with it but instead her face fell.
“Not you too.” She said with a groan, reaching up to take another drag before finishing off the cigarette.
“What’s so wrong with the band you’ve never even listened to yourself?” He tried to reason.
“It’s all that they talk about. All day. Every day. Cooking dinner. Doing laundry. Taking a shower. Never can escape it. I don’t get much free time between my classes, work and studying. What little bit I do have has been invaded. I’m sick of it” she explained with another eye roll shifting away from him.
“I suppose I get your frustration… You can still go into it with an open mind-“ he levied and she shook her head.
“Nope. I’m committed to the stubborn act at this point.” She retorted, making him laugh. She has conviction he’d give her that.
“Well if you hate this band so much, what kind of music do you actually like Miss Rebel to society who loves Star Wars?” He asked.
“I don’t know…” she said looking back into her drink a smirk playing on her lips as she denied him the information, knowing he likely would do as most men and roast her taste in music.
“You don’t know what music you like?” Sebastian asked jokingly.
“No, I know that. I just assume you’ll do that thing most men at bars do, where they roast my taste in music and say they had an earth shattering experience listening to the dark side of the moon for the first time” she explained with an eye roll and he barked out a laugh.
“That’s a fair critique, but I don’t plan on shitting on your taste in music. It’s a personal preference. Try me” he told her, downing the rest of his drink.
“Fine. I like stuff like arctic monkeys, cigarettes after sex, panic at the disco… that sort of vibe” she explained while taking another sip before running a palm over her opposite shoulder trying to brush away the goosebumps. As she did so he noticed several tattoos littering her arms, one in particular catching his eye.
“Wow that’s a really cool tattoo? What is it?” He asked changing the subject as he raised a hand up to stroke the exposed skin. The artistry was phenomenal, showcasing vivid shading despite only being black and white. His thumb rubbed along her shoulder as he examined it with a small smile playing on his lips. She looked over her shoulder and saw the one he was referring to as she had a few lining her body.
“Oh that’s one I drew. I really love mythology. it is my take on the Mares of Diomedes” she explained and he was astounded by not only her artistry but also her love of mythology, one he related to.
Slipping off his jacket, he showed the girl the healed hyper realistic ink depicting the marble statue of Apollo that laid on the inside of his bicep on the arm closest to his heart. Famous twin of Artemis and a tattoo he carried for his own sister.
As he did so, she ran her hands over the exposed skin, not only noticing the ink but also seeing the trail of freckles lead down to his tanned arms. As she did so, she trailed her sharp dark nails along his skin, making him shiver before she let go.
“Apollo, very nice…” she said in a low voice with a smile.
“What were you saying, sorry I tend to get distracted kind of easily… oh yeah those are all wonderful bands. As for tonight… I still think you should keep an open mind especially if you like those bands…” he said cryptically as he looked around. He knew likely he’d have to slip backstage but the girl didn’t know that.
“Hmm” she thought for a moment as she finished her drink, setting it on the counter and grabbing her coat. “I’ll bear it in mind. I should probably find my flatmates. They abandoned me when we got here trying to see if they could meet the guys in the band before the show” she explained and the notion made him chuckle that her friends had failed and she had succeeded where they hadn’t.
“Of course” he said with a smile, knowing this was a perfect time to slip off.
“I would be… more inclined to have an open mind if you stuck around… it’s actually been pretty fun talking to you so far…” she said with a smirk falling off her lips and she slid in close and he absolutely adored her confidence in her movements and words. She looked up at him through her lashes, accentuated by the thick Smokey makeup around her eyes.
He was almost annoyed when she wrapped a hand around his arm once again at the bicep, not because he didn’t want her touch, but because he knew that she likely wouldn’t respond well to his necessary rejection of watching the show together.
Sliding close to put his lips near her ear he wrapped his other hand around her waist to pull her closer.
“As much as I would love that I unfortunately can’t…” he explained trying to muster some sort of an explanation that would lead to him being able to get her number after the show still.
“I just thought…” she said somewhat dejected but still seemingly trying to maintain a level head.
“I really am sorry… I’ve enjoyed the company Love, trust me, but-“ he tried to explain as she remained hooked around the waist by his hand. Shockingly she hadn’t pushed him off.
“Bash! There you are! I’ve been looking all over for you!” Anne. He dropped the girl as his twin jumped into his arms without warning, pressing a kiss to his cheek in the loving fashion he was accustomed to. He cringed realizing how this would look, but before he could explain the girl had already taken a step back looking mortified.
“You slipped away for water a while ago! What took so long?” Anne innocently asked and the girls face fell so fast.
“I’m sorry I held you up, excuse me.” She said, pushing past him, shoving him with her shoulder as she did so and Sebastian groaned, removing Anne.
“Fuck.” He said as his sister pulled him back towards backstage.
“Were you actually - Sebastian you never talk to fans” she said and he awkwardly chuckled.
“She actually seems to hate our band on principle so I don’t think she’s a fan” he said and his twin raised a brow and he shook his head.
“Long story but she piqued my interest. I suppose now she probably thinks I’m a cheating git who was taking drinks and flirting with her while having a girlfriend” he explained with an annoyed sigh and Anne looked at him apologetically.
“Seb, I’m sorry. I can try and find her and explain before the set if you’d like-“ she tried to reason.
“Don’t worry about it Annie. I’m sure I’d have found a way to screw it up anyways…” he said, as they flashed a badge to security before stepping into the room with the rest of his friends and bandmates.
“Dude where the fuck did you go?” Garreth asked with an annoyed sigh.
“Seb was talking to a girl,” Anne said.
“I was until someone ran along and screwed it up” he said trying to bite back the realization as he moved to dramatically flop on the couch next to Ominis.
“That’s not like you… must’ve been a real smoke show” Garreth responded with a laugh and he nodded to agree.
“I mean, yeah, she was hot, but-“ Sebastian explained when Ominis cut in.
“She must’ve been more than a pretty face to peak your interest” his blind friend levied and he nodded.
“She was really funny, and said she goes to Uni so smart too… I wish I could’ve gotten her number.” He said with an annoyed groan, reaching for his guitar which was propped up near the couch.
“Did you get her name? Could say something during the set” Ominis suggested.
“I didn’t get that either,” he explained.
“Damn. You can always point her out to Annie -“ Garreth reasoned and he shook his head.
“It’s not a huge deal. I doubt she even will stay for the full thing. She told me she’s only here because her friends forced her. She actually seemingly hates us on principle and at this point is committed to being stubborn just for the humor of it” he explained with a chuckle.
“Seems like you’re made for each other ‘Mr I refuse to watch Star Wars even when it’s my twins favorite movie” Anne said with a laugh and the others joined in.
“Oh well” he said trying to ignore the semi sad feeling lingering in his stomach at the thought.
“Well mate, if anything changes during the set go for it. You know I never mind, besides you’re the front man anyway. It’s always your call” Garreth said, standing to grab his bass.
“Actually…. Is it cool if I make a small change to the lineup…” he said, a brilliant idea in mind and a room full of his favorite people eager to hear his plan.
—————————————————-
“Where did you go?” Poppy asked cheerfully as she rejoined her friends. It wasn’t long after she separated from the mysterious man that she’d been chatting with that she ran into Imelda, who escorted her back to the rest of the group. Natty and Poppy had been saving a spot right at the front of the club waiting for the band to start and had sent Imelda to go find her.
“I stayed where you left me basically the whole time” she explained with an annoyed scowl still on her face.
“I know you’re not happy about being here but I thought once you got out maybe you’d have a good tim-“ Natty started and she let out the frustration of the situation prior slip out.
“I actually was having a great time talking to some guy. I bought him some drinks, we were having a good conversation, turns out he’s got a similar tattoo and understands my need to be stubborn. He’s never even seen Star Wars simply out of principle” she said with a dramatic sigh as her friends smiled at her.
“Well that’s great” Imelda said looking around. “Where is lover boy then?” She asked and MC shook her head.
“I think the girl that jumped into his arms and kissed his cheek would know better than I am where he is now” she explained as the others looked at her sadly.
“Oi what an arse. Point him out if you see him. I would love to have a few words…” Imelda said, and she knew it wasn’t that deep. The lighter should’ve been a red flag after all…
“It’s alright Melda. Don’t worry about it. He’s not worth the time. We are here for you guys to see your band and then I’m off to bed when we get home” she said as Poppy offered her a comforting smile.
“Was he at least cute?” Natty asked as the other two glared at her; prompting the girl to defend herself by asking “what? It’s just a question?”
“Unfortunately yes. Very sexy… tall, dark and handsome incarnate…” she said, plucking another cigarette out of her pocket as Poppy looked around the room.
“Why don’t we get you another drink if you hold our spots up here. Cheer you up some. Especially since you’ve attempted to be a decent sport tonight despite that asshole” the girl said and she would’ve rejected it, but a drink did sound nice right about now.
“That would actually be lovely Poppy, I’ve got a tab open if you want something-“
“Don’t worry it’s on us, come on Natty we will be quick” Poppy said grabbing their other flatmate, leaving her with Imelda to hold their spots right in the front of the stage.
“I stand by what I said, I’ll deck him if you need me to” Imelda said and she laughed, grabbing her friend into a droopy hug, pressing a kiss to the girls cheek.
“You’re the sweetest Melda” she said playfully as her friend intentionally dropped her arm and wiped her cheek with a sarcastic eye roll. Imelda was the tomboy of their group, coming out to the clubs in a simple tank top and jeans, minimal makeup and usually the protective one when it came to any of their flatmates and boys.
“Yeah, yeah” she said with a small smile before looking around the room, and MC couldn’t tell if it was protectively trying to keep an eye out for the mysterious man who had hurt her friend or to keep an eye on their other roommates, but she didn’t question Imelda’s surveying.
“You all manage to sneak backstage in my absence?” She asked Imelda who laughed it off.
“No but they sure tried and I had to talk them down. There’s always after I suppose. But I promise to wrangle them in a tad in case you’re desperate to avoid mystery man. You haven’t seen him since?” She asked once again looking around the room and MC shook her head as Poppy and Natty rejoined them.
“One drink for the most beautiful girl in the room” Poppy said with a smile, as she passed her a refill on her drink.
“Thanks Sweets, and no Imelda I haven’t. I promise to point him out if I do” she said just as someone came on stage, and her eardrums almost burst as the 3 girls next to her got excited when he asked if they were ready for the performance.
As the lights went dark she tried to just mentally disassociate, the sooner this was over the faster she could get into bed. And the little spark in her that had desired to give the band a chance died when the mystery man asked her to go in with an open mind.
A few more shouts of excitement from her friends and various people in the audience as she sipped her drink before the lights came on and she felt like a deer trapped in headlights.
Fuck.
“Aren’t they all just so dreamy?” Poppy said with a starstruck smile and her face immediately soured. Looking confused, Poppy went to ask what was wrong when she looked back up to the man from earlier, who happened to be standing in the center of the stage with a guitar.
Before she could lean into her friend to shout in her ear he looked at her, mostly given she was directly in front of the stage. MC rolled her eyes at him as he looked down at her from behind the mic stand.
“MC he’s looking at you!” Natty said with a cheerful exclamation.
Instead of backing down Sebastian walked slightly forward as he kept his gaze trained on her and her friends seemingly lost their minds over the action. Adding insult to injury he had the gall to wink at her, very obviously.
“Oh my stars” Poppy said lovestruck as she watched the front man of the band openly flirting with her friend in front of the crowded room.
In response MC only narrowed her eyes at the man and leaned towards Imelda so she could speak to her before saying “there’s the guy from earlier. Go get him Melda” she said mischievously before pointing to him and rolling her eyes and turning to leave.
“Wait, what?!” The girl said, surprised that not only had their uninterested flatmate met the lead singer but that he was the man from before as she grabbed MC’s shoulder preventing her from leaving. Before she could ask further questions she was cut off due to Sebastian’s announcement.
“Wow what a very good looking crowd we have here tonight… dare I say the best looking we’ve seen” he said while continuing to stare in her direction and she made a genuine snarl at the man who only seemed egged on by her reluctance. In the time it had occurred Imelda must’ve informed their other roommates he was the one who entertained MC earlier.
“MC…” Poppy said, tapping her shoulder and getting her attention before she fully left to go stand outside.
“What is it Sweets?” She asked, her mood officially and completely ruined.
Curse the stupid undercroft.
“You should stay, show him you can have a good time even with what happened -“ Natty tried to reason.
MC did realize she had promised them she would stay the whole time.
“I promised you guys I’d stay the whole time” she said, chugging the rest of her drink as they started the opening notes of a song and her friends gave her a comforting group hug. “You’re allowed to enjoy it you know” she said with a smile and they turned back, joyfully enjoying the first few songs.
When he finally started singing she grew increasingly more frustrated.
Of course the very attractive, very funny, and cheater of a guy she ran into had to be in the band. Even more annoyingly, he was incredibly talented.
She tried her best to tune them out, focusing on her friends and their silly dances and every now and again leaning over to press a kiss to one of their cheeks or twirl them under her arm. She was here for them. Not for some idiot in a band.
“Before we start the next song I want to dedicate this last minute addition to our setlist to the very beautiful girl at the bar earlier who borrowed my lighter, and just letting you know, it’s offer still stands” Sebastian said as he stepped on the board on the floor that changed the sound of his guitar slightly before starting the first few notes.
Her heart absolutely sunk when she realized not only had he dedicated a song to her, but she knew this song.
It was her favorite.
She fully anticipated he was gearing up to butcher her favorite song, effectively ruining it for eternity but when he started singing she could’ve died on the spot.
“I feel the salty waves come in…” he sang as Imelda turned to her with her mouth hanging open.
“He just dedicated that to you?! But that’s your- wait what did he offer earlier?” Imelda asked as the other two leaned in and she looked up at him over their heads.
“That if I wanted to fuck, I should smile when I have his lighter back” she said through gritted teeth and they all melted, having seemingly forgot he flirted when he had a girlfriend, or at the very least a very comfortable groupie he knew by name.
The band expertly continued to perform her favorite song and as Sebastian sang her favorite lines, he leaned over the stage directly over her with a grin almost antagonizing her with the line
“Can we fast forward to go down on me” he said and at the end of the line and the kick off of the chorus he winked at her, tossing a pick before grabbing a new one and continuing.
“MC!” Her friends shouted and Sebastian watched with a smile as her friends fawned over her. He could still see her angered expression but in her eyes showed something counter to her body language. She seemed impressed. He could work with impressed.
He continued to perform his heart out, knowing he wanted to end the set with a song for the girl as she continued to stare from the front.
She felt very frustrated that as the song went on, she seemingly forgot what had happened. A small part of her screamed to just accept the attention and then go home and put it to rest but she felt guilty soaking up the flirtations of a man who had a girlfriend - who was likely backstage no less.
Sebastian saw the war in her eyes every time he looked back and as he got to the bridge he crossed back until he was in front of her, kneeling with his guitar until he was more level with the girl and her friends.
Her eyes widened as he did so, and he moved in as close as possible with the guitar in his lap, making sure that he could stare directly into her eyes before he leaned forward, the rest of his bandmates continuing music despite the absence of lyrics being sung a part she new would’ve been the bridge. Instead she realized he was beckoning her closer, and her friends pushed her forward until he met her in the middle.
When she did so he used his other hand to cover the mic hooked to the side of his face and leaned into her face saying “sorry my sister interrupted us earlier, hope this makes up for that” he said before kissing her cheek as she could hear her friends losing their minds screaming and slapping at her back.
Her face burned with all the attention so much that she almost missed him pressing something into her hand before he stood and started to sing the bridge to her and her alone…
Stop there, and let me correct it
He sang and she realized he was trying to use the song to convey that he felt sorry for running off…
I wanna live a life from a new perspective
He also explained that everything had been a misunderstanding with his sister, not girlfriend…
You come along because I love your face
And the way his eyes roamed made her feel as if the song was coming to life and she was the girl in the song…
As Sebastian continued he couldn’t help but smile down at her, seeing in her expression how she slowly pieced together both his intention as well as the mix up, and he almost stopped singing when he saw her opening the note he’d passed her.
“So catch me up on getting out of here” he sang the final line with a smile as he looked down and saw her finally reading the note.
He went to thank the crowd and start their final song as she finally got to reading the note. Pulling it closer to see in the dim lights she unwrapped the crudely written note on a bar napkin that said:
Beautiful rebel,
Thanks for the drinks and I’d love to buy the next round sometime. I’m also open to finally watching the silly space movies, and what better way to do so than with someone who loves them so much, if you’re down…
Sebastian Sallow

PS keep the lighter since I know you’ve lost yours, however feel free to return it whenever you’d like, hopefully with a smile ;)
When she finished reading the note she realized he had wrapped the napkin around the lighter from earlier. Taking out her phone she added his number into her contacts before carefully folding it up and pocketing both the note and the lighter.
Opening a new message she typed a quick text before enjoying their last song for the night with her friends, happily nodding her head along with the song and blushing madly when he winked at her one last time before he exited the stage.
When Sebastian finally got his phone out of the dressing room he saw a new message from an unknown number and he couldn’t help but smile as he read the text.
UNKNOWN : That was quite clever Mr. Brown eyes with the Apollo tattoo, or should I say Sebatian… I will say the choice of god makes a tad bit more sense now that I remember Apollo and Artemis were twins… I’d love to show you the wonderful world of Star Wars sometime if you’re providing drinks; which leaves the important question: When are rockstars free? ~ your rebel in crime MC
He quickly flipped up his calendar, checking his schedule before replying.
Her phone buzzed as her friends walked home from the bar, still chattering about her luck with the lead of their newest favorite band. Opening the text she saw the message.
Sebastian: How about tomorrow at 4? My place?
She smirked reading the text and quickly shooting a reply and continuing her walk home feeling much lighter and now excited for the following day with her mystery rockstar.
Sounds perfect. I have a lighter to return :)

~~~~~
There were few things Garreth Weasley loved more than quidditch. Being able to play again after Headmaster Black banned it fifth year felt like a breath of fresh air. He wasn’t the only student that had been excited at the start of their sixth year. Imelda Reyes had thrown a celebration so rowdy, some students feared that he would cancel the season again to punish them for it. There had been no incidents during sixth year too, which meant he had been able to play his favorite game during his last year too. While Garreth was disappointed that Gryffindor hadn’t made it to the quidditch cup, he wasn't having a bad time in the stands.
He was surrounded by a sea of golden yellow, staring across the pitch at the rival sea of emerald green. His own teammates were beside him and they were all causing a scene cheering for Hufflepuff. Arguably, after him, Natty and Leander were the loudest. He had help from his seeker in making his championship outfit. He wanted to ensure that he was the biggest Hufflepuff fan in the stands, not just MC’s - because the latter was a given. She had helped him transfigure MC’s practice jersey, after stealing it from her dorm that morning with some assistance from Poppy Sweeting, into a slightly loose fitting cropped tee. With summer fast approaching, he had anticipated the weather being warmer, and he was glad he was right. His girlfriend’s house took up the entire front of the crop top, and the back was reserved for her last name. His face lit up as he watched her fly directly in front of where he and his friends sat, flying around the pitch like she had been born on a broom instead of only flying for the last two years.
“Woo! MC!” He cupped his hands around his mouth and hollered after her as loud as he could.
She took a break from hunting for the golden glint of the snitch and looked towards where she heard her boyfriend’s voice come from. She was instantly filled with regret. What was meant to be a quick glance and a wink turned into an ogling session. She was clenching her jaw to keep it from falling all the way to the grass of the pitch as she saw him in her house colors. She had no idea where he had found that shirt, but it fit him perfectly, cutting off an inch or two above his belly button and showing off his toned stomach from his own quidditch workouts. Her eyes trailed down the copper happy trail she was intimately familiar with until she reached the waistband of his pants and she couldn’t see any further. Her eyes moved up, observing his broad chest and his arms. The sleeves were skin tight on his biceps, which seemed to bulge even when he wasn’t trying.
‘Godsdamned beater arms,’ she internally cursed, but her eyes were still stuck on him and moving upwards until she caught his face.
Her eyes found her favorite shade of green and realized she had been caught staring instead of playing her game. Her boyfriend winked at her before turning to show her his back. That was when it clicked what he was wearing and she knew she was going to either kill or worship Natsai Onai later for nicking it from her dorm. Seeing her last name across his broad back made her debate abandoning the game and taking her boyfriend into the prep tent and casting a muffling charm, but thankfully Amit’s broadcasted voice finally snapped her out of her daze.
“It looks like Reyes has spotted the snitch and she’s making a break towards it!”
Her eyes grew wide and she whipped around, looking for Imelda and hoping to catch a glimpse of gold as she headed that way. As she flew away, she once again heard her name and she pushed just a little harder. Thankfully, with the practice she had and the upgrades from her fifth year, it wasn’t hard to catch up to Imelda, but the Slytherin still had an advantage.
MC still hadn’t spotted the snitch.
Knowing her competition was far too competitive to try and throw her off course when she could see what they were both after, she just stuck to Slytherin’s captain.
It felt like they were soaring through and around the pitch for hours before Imelda finally slowed down.
“What happened Melda? Lose it?” She taunted, a smirk settled on her lips as she tried to catch her breath.
“Go back to eye fucking Weasley. Don’t worry about the snitch, I’ll catch it for you.”
MC just laughed before leaving the Slytherin captain behind. She wasn’t going to find it any faster sitting there and talking trash. As she flew around, using every ounce of self control to not let her gaze drift back to the Hufflepuff side of the stands for longer than it took for her to try and find a glint of gold against the yellow, she could still hear Garreth’s voice no matter where she was. Even next to the Slytherin stands, she could hear him over the jeers from the field of green and silver.
Then, there it was. The golden snitch.
MC didn’t even spare a glance at Imelda as she gave chase to the tiny flying ball. She heard Amit announce that she had found it this time and she knew that if Imelda hadn’t spotted it earlier, she’d be on her tail soon enough.
“Come on, you bastard,” she huffed, trying to will her broom to move faster.
She didn’t let up as she realized she was gaining on it, her gaze laser focused. Not wanting to lose her chance, she shot her arm out and almost screamed when she felt her fingers wrap around the cold metal.
The second it registered, she held her closed fist over her head and she diverted her broom to move back towards the center of the pitch.
“MC caught the snitch! Hufflepuff wins the cup!”
The second everyone’s favorite Ravenclaw finished announcing her accomplishment, another voice boomed through the open air.
“That’s my girl! That’s my fucking girl!”
MC laughed, immediately swarmed by her teammates as they all landed, but her eyes never left the stands. She blew a kiss up towards where she knew Garreth was sitting before she let herself get swallowed up by the excitement.
~~~~~
Leaving the team tent, still on a high, she intended to look for Garreth. She didn’t have to look far, and really she didn’t have to look at all. The moment he saw her leave the tent, his arms were wrapped around her waist and he lifted her off the ground in his embrace.
“There she is! The hero of Hufflepuff!”
MC laughed, her face buried in his neck. “You are a terror. I could hear you over the Slytherins.”
“Just means that I’m doing my job as your personal cheerleader.”
He set her down with a wink, leaning down to press his lips to hers in a tender kiss. She reciprocated, her touch just as sweet as his. Her hands moved from his shoulders down to his exposed sides and her thumbs started rubbing circles into his skin.
“I see that. You’ve got the uniform and everything, sneaky boy.” She hummed as she moved her lips to his neck, still dragging her fingers across his bare skin. “I could really go for a bath. It would be a terrible, terrible shame if I broke into the prefect bathroom alone while everyone else was celebrating my victory...”
“Well, I’m sure you’re exhausted from all that flying. Perhaps I should accompany you. To make sure the stairs don’t give you any trouble.” Garreth taunted her right back, gently squeezing her hips. “Come along, champion.”
~~~~~
The second the bathroom door closed behind them, MC cast a locking charm and turned her attention to Garreth. Her lips were on his in an instant, this kiss needier than the one he had graced her with when they reunited after the game.
“I cannot believe,” she huffed, pulling back slightly to start ridding herself of her quidditch uniform, “you turned my practice jersey into something so revealing…”
“My only regret is almost costing you the game. I didn’t realize you’d have such a…reaction.”
Garreth’s eyes dipped from her face to her bare breasts as she managed to get them free from the confines of her clothes. He truly thought she was the most gorgeous witch he had ever seen. He backed her up against the wall, kissing his way down her neck until he took one of her nipples in his mouth. He hummed at the taste of her skin, his gaze flicking up to her face as he kissed across her chest to make sure her other breast got the same attention. Satisfied with his work, he kissed his way down MC’s torso and left a trail of pale marks in his wake. Settling on his knees, he pulled back slightly to look up at the woman of his dreams. He didn’t need to look at his hands while removing the rest of her uniform, which allowed him to soak in just how amazing she looked from this angle.
“Merlin, MC. So. Fucking. Pretty. Perfect. Gorgeous.”
Every compliment was punctuated with a kiss to her inner thigh. Once he reached his destination, he spread her with his fingers and moaned at the sight.
“Hello pretty,” he murmured before licking up with the flat of his tongue.
Feeling his tongue moving through her folds and flicking over her clit immediately removed the question of if he was truly talking to her pussy from her mind. A low moan fell from her lips as her hands tangled in his copper hair. Her head dropped back against the wall and she felt him lifting one of her legs to rest over his shoulder. She looked down and almost moaned at the sight. Garreth was looking up at her, his lips were wrapped around her clit and she could feel him alternating between sucking and using his tongue to rub circles. The hottest thing about this angle was seeing that her thigh was practically the size of his shoulder. Quidditch had done wonders for her physique, and she understood the phrase “broom thighs” when she’d look at herself in the mirror. However, if the sport had done wonders for her, it had done miracles for her boyfriend.
Not only did Garreth also develop some of the sturdiest broom thighs MC had seen, but that effect just carried to every other muscle in his body too. Regular practices paired with the growth spurts he had hit the last two years, it constantly felt like he just towered over her. His strength was also a bonus that they enjoyed exploring on the nights they’d spend in the Room of Requirement, tangled in sheets from a conjured bed.
He could see her eyes going unfocused and one corner of his mouth turned up. He sucked her clit with extra force as he pushed two fingers into her. His smirk only grew as it pulled a loud moan from her. His fingers didn’t stop pumping into her as he pulled back.
“There you are, pretty girl. You were going somewhere on me.”
If she wasn’t already flushed from the pleasure coursing through every inch of her body, him calling her out would’ve caused color to flood her cheeks.
“I uh. I wa-as looking at my thigh on your shoulder.”
The Gryffindor chuckled, turning his head to plant a kiss on the thigh she was talking about. He knew MC well enough to be able to conclude what was running through her head.
“Yeah? This pretty thigh? Comparing size are you? So much smaller than me, aren’t you, pretty girl. Can’t toss you around in here but I can do this.”
She gasped as his free hand moved, lifting her other leg and hooking it over his shoulder so she was now sitting on his shoulders against the wall with his face buried in her cunt. Without another word, his mouth found its way back to her clit while he continued to pump his fingers in and out of her aching walls. His free hand settled on her hip, as if he was trying to ensure she didn’t fall.
MC felt her orgasm building, and her grip on her boyfriend’s hair grew impossibly tighter as she tried to push him into her more. Her walls fluttered around his fingers and his pace seemed to pick up, his fingers curling up in search of the spot he knew would make her scream.
“Gare–” She tried to warn him but she was cut off by a loud moan as his fingers found what they were searching for.
“I know, pretty girl. I can feel it. Cum for me. Be a good girl and let me taste you.”
Her moans only grew louder as he pushed her towards her orgasm, and her back arched off the wall as it hit with a cry of his name. Garreth only slowed for a moment, letting MC start to come down from what would be her first orgasm of the day before he ramped back up. He added a third finger and his mouth was working her clit like he had been starved his entire life.
“Ah~! Garreth!” She was trying to push his head away one second and pulling him closer the next. “‘S too much! Please!”
He chuckled against her, his eyes looking up at her as if he was asking her if it was really too much. Unfortunately - or fortunately, really - Garreth knew her body practically as well as MC did. He knew she could keep going after he pulled one from her, and he’d be damned if he wasn’t ready to drown in her and suffocate between her thighs. It would be a lie to say he wasn’t trying either. After pulling two more orgasms from MC with his tongue and fingers, he slowly lowered her legs back to the ground. The lower half of his face glistened with the arousal he had drawn from her body, and in moments, his aptly named cheerleader outfit was on the ground and he was as bare as she was.
MC’s eyes immediately dropped, taking in the sight that was his hardened cock. She had seen him naked several times at this point, but she always stared at him naked. He somehow looked even bigger without clothes, his muscles on display and accentuating just how pretty his cock was. She knew from experience that it was the perfect size, and that the happy trail she had admired when he was in the stands led to a trimmed patch of copper curls she loved to bury her nose in when she took him down her throat.
There was no warning before he hoisted her up, unceremoniously kicking their clothes towards the edge of the pool sized bath before he submerged the both of them in the warm water. His lips found hers, and she could taste herself when his tongue found its way into her mouth. Recognizing the taste caused her to moan, her hips moving and grinding against his cock, the head catching her clit perfectly.
“So needy, aren’t you, pretty girl? Didn’t I just give you three orgasms and you still need more? What happened to it being too much?”
“Garreth, please.” She whined, pouting her kiss swollen lips at him.
“You know I can’t say no when you look at me like that, baby. Plus, I’m supposed to be rewarding my champion.”
He moved them through the water, turning MC to face away from him. Instead she faced the pile of their clothes at the edge of the tub. She looked back at Garreth with her eyebrows furrowed and he met her gaze with a grin.
“When you eventually hit the point where you can’t hold yourself up anymore, you can rest your head on our clothes.”
She held the edge of the tub, and soon felt her hips get lifted to the point even her tiptoes weren’t touching the bottom. She felt the head of Garreth’s cock drag up and down her slit a couple times before he pushed into her.
“Fuck, MC. Fuckin’ made to take me, weren’t you?”
She moaned at the feeling of her walls stretching to accommodate him, and she only grew louder when he started moving. The water around them splashed up and over the lip of the tub, but both were too lost in each other to truly care. Their moans echoed off the tiles around them, filling the room with the sound of their voices.
One of Garreth’s hands moved down, his fingers rubbing tight circles around MC’s clit. He could feel her walls fluttering around his cock, signaling how close she was.
“Come on, pretty girl. Cum on my cock. You know I want it, give it to me.” He growled in her ear, snapping his hips harder.
She gave him what he wanted moments later, when he pinched the bundle of nerves. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and as Garreth had predicted, she fell forward and rested her arms on the edge.
“That’s it. Good girl. My good girl.”
Feeling his own orgasm swiftly approaching, he didn’t alter his pace. His fingers resumed their harsh assault, trying to push her into a fifth orgasm by the time he came.
“Just one more, MC. Wanna feel you milk me when I fill this pretty little cunt. I know you can do it. Unless you want me to pull out…”
She gasped at his threat, frantically shaking her head. “No, please no. Cum in me. Please cum in me.”
Garreth grinned, working the both of them towards a mutual orgasm. Feeling her walls squeezing his cock like a vice and hearing her screaming his name pulled his own orgasm from him. He buried her face in her neck, biting down gently as he groaned. MC whimpered, feeling his cock throbbing with every spurt of cum he filled her with.
Slightly regaining his own senses, Garreth released her neck, gently kissing the mark he had left behind. As he looked at it, he chuckled softly. MC would be able to cast a glamor charm to hide it, but he knew she’d be frustrated he had left something so visible to begin with. He hadn’t meant to, and he was usually very good at keeping any marks to where the two of them would be the only witnesses, but it had been too much this time.
“Merlin, you’re beautiful.” He spoke softly, pressing a kiss between her shoulder blades as he carefully pulled out of her beneath the water.
They both tried to catch their breath before cleaning themselves up, and MC was so spent she was just allowing herself to float amongst the bubbles. Garreth gently pulled her towards the stairs so he could sit and wash her hair for her. Tilting her head back with her chin, to get her hair completely soaked one more time, he settled in. He ensured she was comfortable on his lap before filling one of his palms with shampoo before his nails were scratching against her scalp.
MC practically purred in his lap, even if having to keep her own head upright felt like a task at the moment. She had always loved Garreth playing with her hair, and it was sweet that he’d wash it for her after effectively turning all of her bones to jello.
“I’m so proud of you, MC. Did so fucking brilliant in that game.” He dipped and pressed a kiss to the tip of her nose. “Did so fucking perfect for me too. Always take what I give you so well. Make me feel so good. Make me feel so loved. I love you, pretty girl.”
A tired hum left her lips, which were spreading into a giddy smile. “I love you too, Garreth.”
After soaking and debating whether or not MC really needed to make an appearance at the celebration they were going to be extremely fashionably late to (she did), the Gryffindor was walking around and collecting their clothes. Deciding to take the lazy way, since most of them were already wet, he dunked them into the soapy water and dried them with a charm. He turned his head to say something, and was stopped by the look MC was giving him.
“What? Why are you looking at me like that?”
“That is how you’re deciding our clothes are clean? Need I remind you what’s fucking floating around in this water?”
He raised an eyebrow at her before casting scourgify and raising an eyebrow. “Is that better, your highness? It’s not my fault you needed to jump my bones so badly that neither of us had a chance to figure out other clothes.”
She huffed, rolling her eyes, but she was trying to hide a smile. “Whatever.”
He folded their clothes so they’d sit neatly on one of the shelves before he went to retrieve MC from the still warm water. Her legs were still a little weak, but the more she walked, the easier it was. By the time the two were dried and fully clothed again, she had started walking like normal.
“Hmm. I’ll have to do better tonight if you’re already walking fine. Come on, pretty girl. I’m ready to share you with people for a while.”
She laughed softly, taking his hand as the two snuck back out of the prefect bathroom and down to the party they were missing on the shore of the Black Lake.
Garreth Weasley x MC (18+ only)
The Weasley's are known for their hospitality when it comes to those without a place to call home. In keeping with his family values, Garreth invites MC to the Weasley Christmas party, leading to some one-on-one time in the barn.
The witch crunched over patches of frosty grass as she ascended the cracked cobblestone path to the Weasley cottage. She had a suspicion Garreth may have stretched the truth regarding the number of guests his family typically hosts over Christmas. His house was tiny. Undeniably adorable, with warm light spilling from frosted iron window frames, and crooked beams nestled between cobbled bricks, but it was definitely on the snug side.
A decent amount is what he’d told her when she’d interrogated him on the headcount. In hindsight, it was a very vague answer.
She probably should've kept her holiday plans—or lack thereof—to herself, considering his family's reputation for taking in students without a place to call home, but he’s so difficult to tune out when eagerly recounting one of his ridiculous anecdotes.
“—that’s when it dawned on me that I’d spiked the barrel with a tad too much firewhisky," Garreth had regaled, his hands waving dangerously close to the dormant devil snare. "Aunt Matilda is down for the count..."
His herbology partner stifled a laugh at the thought of their conjuration professor blackout drunk, only to be jolted into panic as Garreth's flailing hands nearly triggered a response from the roots.
"Garreth, will you focus!"
"Shit, my bad," he muttered, conjuring a beam of light to repel the advancing vines. “So anyway, we’re pretty sure Aunt Matilda’s dead at this point, but then she sits up and demands we bring her a man-”
A suppressed snort lodged in her throat and she promptly choked on it, triggering Garreth to erupt into a spirited cackle.
"Alright, my little seedlings," Professor Garlick began to softly chastise. "Let's ensure each leaf in this botanical cluster gets its chance to soak in the sunlight of knowledge without being overshadowed by the noise.”
They exchanged sheepish glances before refocusing their attention on their assignment.
“What about you, how was your Hallowe'en?” Garreth asked, brushing up the scattered soil on their table and sliding it into Duncan's bag.
“Peaceful. There were moments when it felt like I had the entire castle to myself, it was perfect."
"Wait, you were here?" He swiped the back of his hand across his frown, smearing damp mud across his freckles. “Not typical for your watchdogs to let you roam alone, is it?”
She nervously stole a glance across the table. Fortunately, both Sebastian and Ominis were too immersed in their own tasks to catch the jab.
“Had I known, I would've persistently hounded you until you came to mine,” Garreth continued, “You could've witnessed drunk Professor Weasley in all her glory. Consider this an early Christmas invite."
"I appreciate it, but I actually love the calm during the holidays."
"Even over Christmas?" His brow furrowed as he struggled to grasp the idea of finding joy in silence. "What would you even do if you were on your own?"
She released a deep exhale as she contemplated her options, most scenarios revolving around the idea of staying in pyjamas all day. "I'd probably spend most of the day in bed—"
Garreth smirked, cleaning soil from his fingernails. "I could clear you a spot in mine."
She rolled her eyes, choosing to brush off his remark. He had a reputation for being a flirt but in the past few months he’d doubled down and the line was starting to blur between teasing and genuine intent.
Assuming the invitation was nothing more than a passing whim, she thought that would be the end of it, but she was mistaken. The occasional lingering glances they shared in passing—glances she typically tried to ignore—were now interpreted by him as an open invitation to approach. He relentlessly pestered her on whether she would be attending, shooting down each excuse with a stream of reasons why she should be there.
"Christmas is a family event, it would be strange for me to be there."
"Christmas at my house? Packed. Most of them? Total strangers."
"I'm dreadful at small talk. You'd have to stick to me like glue and handle all the mindless chatter."
"I'd do both of those things regardless."
She staved off his advances until early December when she ultimately surrendered just to put an end to his relentless pursuit. There were two weeks of holiday to enjoy, so giving him a few hours on Christmas Eve felt like a reasonable compromise.
She released a shaky huff of breath, the warmth curling up and misting into the crisp air, before rapping her knuckles against the weathered door. After a series of muffled footsteps, it creaked open an inch and little fingers curled around the edge. A festive melody wafted through the hallway and spilt into the front garden. Through the narrow crack, a short, pudgy-face Garreth peered out.
"Hi there," she greeted with an awkward wave, her hand hesitating mid-air as the kid gawked up at her. "Is Garreth home?"
Following an uncooperative pause, a surge of relief rolled through her as the bug-eyed child was nudged aside, and the door swung open fully at the hands of her herbology partner.
There was an undeniable tightening in her chest at the sight of him in his party attire – a dark red shirt with sleeves pushed up to his elbows and a snug sweater vest layered over it. His unruly ginger hair had been somewhat tamed by a touch of pomade, but he’d mostly retained his customary wild waves. She attempted to toss out a snarky comment about his appearance, but an articulate sentence evaded her.
"Did you walk all the way from town?" he asked, leaning his head out the front door and tracking the trail of disturbed snow left by her footsteps. "We have a floo connection in our living room, you know. You could have come straight here."
"I felt awkward showing up in the middle of your house. I didn't want to get ambushed by a grandma."
Their eyes met and a brief silence hung between them until he blinked, "You returned an egg to a Hebridean black dragon on foot, but introducing yourself to Granny Meryl has you all nervous?"
"Mind if I come in?" she brushed off his question and crossed the uneven wooden threshold into the warmth of the hallway. He only half-turned to let her through, forcing her to brush up against him as she passed. It was going to be a long night.
Maybe he hadn't exaggerated the capacity of his house - the hallway alone was the size of the exterior. Bulky coats and scattered shoes adorned one side of the expansive hallway, while the aroma of festive spices wafted from the open living room door. Beyond it, she could hear a lively cluster of voices, more than she had expected. The concept of a bustling atmosphere rather than an intimate one managed to quell her nerves slightly.
"You're looking lovely," Garreth complimented as he took her coat and added it to the hectic mountain of others. When she turned to face him, he made no attempt to hide the fact that his eyes were wandering all over her, taking in the details of her emerald dress. "Did you put in all this effort for me?"
"No, it’s for Granny Meryl.”
Garreth groaned dramatically, tossing his head back as he led her into the living room. "Granny’s power of seduction knows no bounds.”
The interior of the cottage must have been expanded for the party, it felt like it went on forever as Garreth weaved them through the horde of inebriated partygoers. One of the perks of belonging to a pureblood family: The unrestricted use of transfiguration spells as the need arose.
They ducked past a drunk aunt merrily dancing on a table with a tie fastened around her forehead which took her way too long to realise was Professor Weasley. Securing a tankard of eggnog that leaned more towards pure brandy, they sank into one of the conjured sofas by the fireplace. She felt a flutter of unease as Garreth slouched a little too close on the worn-out crimson couch. The sagging base pressed their thighs together as it slanted inward, and his arm casually draped around the back of the sofa forced her to consciously resist leaning into him.
She indulged in a few gulps of her festive brew, hoping it would work its magic in loosening her up. She wrinkled her nose at its sharp bite. "Did you have a hand in creating this? It's pure alcohol."
"No, I wasn’t allowed," Garreth sighed, his eyes momentarily losing focus as if lost in a painful memory. "Not after last time."
She wasn't sure if she wanted to dig deeper into that story, but her attention was snagged when something bounced off her leg.
"How many of these are siblings?" she questioned, observing another hyperactive child nearly tripping over her ankles in a rapid dash. For every ginger kid zipping around, a blonde or brunette was in hot pursuit. It became increasingly clear that the Weasleys had not only gathered their immediate family but also an assortment of additional strays.
"Too many. I have two older and three younger, though don’t ask me to distinguish them from my cousins because I’ve already had a bit of brandy and they all have the same face.”
“Yeah, your face.”
“The Weasley genes are strong.”
She gestured toward the gawky child she had encountered when she arrived, "Surely that one's a brother? I initially thought it was you at the door, and you'd had some of that defective potion again—the age-reversing one."
Garreth burst into laughter. "I'd forgotten about that."
“Didn't Sharp have to carry you around on his hip the entire day until it wore off?"
"What a day," he reminisced, wiping a tear from his eye. "And by the way, that's not the same kid who opened the door for you."
"What?"
"I might still have some of that potion," he dismissed her confusion, pondering aloud with a distant look in his eyes. His hand suddenly clamped down on her knee, and he turned to her with pure glee. "Let’s put it in the eggnog."
“Garreth, no.”
"You two are absolutely delightful," an elderly wizard chimed in, swaying slightly as he gestured between the two of them before delving into a nostalgic tangent about him and his wife in their prime.
She noticed she had gradually surrendered to the sinking sofa and was practically nestled in the crook of the arm Garreth had draped across the backrest, while his other hand maintained a firm grip on her knee.
"No, that's not..." she stammered, elbowing him away. "He's just my herbology partner."
“Sorry, dear?”
"She said I’m her life partner—" Garreth’s quip morphed into a yelp as her elbow found its way into his ribs.
After downing just enough alcohol to straddle the fine line between tipsy and outrageously tired, the incessant chatter in the room began to verge on overwhelming. Politely removing herself from a longwinded conversation they’d found themselves in with a rambling cousin, she slipped out into the empty hallway for a brief respite.
The main lights had been extinguished, casting the corridor in a warm glow from the floating candles scattered across high beams. She leaned back against the wall, eyes closed and absorbed the relative quiet.
The living room door scuffed against a rug, unleashing a burst of joyous music before clicking shut again. She'd chalk it up to the eggnog later, but the flickering light cast a shadow over Garreth’s gentle features, and something in her gut pulled taut.
"Are you stalking me, Weasley?" She arched an eyebrow, resisting the urge to give him a once-over.
"You did mention the only way I'd get you to come is if I stuck to you like glue," he pointed out, leaning against the wall beside her.
"Oh, fuck, did I say that?" she sighed, too tired to argue, and couldn't anyway because he was completely right. "I’m not running off, I just needed a breather."
"I didn't think you were, I just wanted to check in." He pushed himself off the wall and started pacing down the hall, brimming with too much energy to stand still. "If you need a real timeout, we could go for a walk and get lost in the snow… It’s nice and quiet out there, where sounds don't carry."
"You could phrase it in a way that doesn't sound like you're plotting my death."
"I'm ready and willing to escape these prying eyes if you are?"
She gave a nod of approval at his somewhat improved wording, then scolded herself as her slightly tipsy gaze ran down the length of his body. Her relief at his lack of comment shifted to a sense of surrender as he summoned their coats, keenly aware he would torment her with it if she declined.
Over the past hour, the snow had whipped up into a flurry, the cottage obscured in a dreamy haze as their steps left imprints on the path that weaved through the fields.
Garreth wrapped them up in a warming charm, the flakes melting into droplets before reaching their skin and trickling down the edges of the shield. It took the edge off the biting December breeze, though it fell short of providing any substantial warmth.
"What's with the feeble charm?" she shivered, answering her own question as she edged a little closer to Garreth, attempting to pilfer some body heat.
"No clue what you’re on about, I’m perfectly warm.”
"You're a liar," she declared. She had wrapped her sleeves around her fingers in an attempt to ward off the chill but let a hand emerge to press the back of it to his flushed cheek. He wasn't lying, his skin burned against her frozen fingers.
"Feel free to turn up the heat," he smirked, leaning into her touch. She thought it was an invitation to enhance the charm, but the laughter that followed his comment hinted at something more suggestive.
"You're the host—it's on you to keep me comfortable," She dropped her hand, noticing she had subconsciously homed in on the warmth radiating from his neck.
He intercepted it before it could fall limply at her side, slowly intertwining their fingers. He gave her every opportunity to pull away, but she found herself not wanting to.
"I'm glad you agreed to come," his voice stumbled for just a split second, but she caught it. Nerves.
It was endearing—a crack in his self-assured armour that stirred a feeling she’d experienced before but had always buried away—When his face lit up as she laughed at one of his one-liners. When he’d pickpocket the last red velvet cookie for her from his Quidditch meetings. When he'd spot her in a bustling crowd, bump his shoulder into hers and walk her to class.
"I'm glad you asked me a hundred and twelve times," she teased, knocking her elbow against his arm. She stole a glance back across the field to catch sight of the cottage. Despite feeling that they hadn't covered much ground, all she could discern beyond five feet was a swirl of snowflakes and shadows.
“Are you nervous?”
She snickered at his question, having weathered harsher conditions in far less pleasant company. "No, I'm fine. I like a good snowstorm."
“Well, there’s a barn up ahead if you want to take some shelter and see if it calms down before we head back.”
"A barn? Do you have cows?" Her excitement bubbled up, pushing aside any suspicion of his ulterior motives. "Or horses?"
"No, we have stables up the hill, but we rent them out to folks in the village. This is just a hay barn. Although, there's a rather charming tourist attraction inside the barn that I'd love to show you."
"You're quite eager to get me inside that barn."
He responded with a sheepish smile. "I assure you, I'm being genuine—no funny business... Unless you initiate it."
The snowfall was thickening, and she admired how effortlessly he steered them through it. The barn didn't slowly come into view—she blinked, and suddenly the red wooden structure was looming over them.
The silence closed in as Garreth slammed the door shut and blocked out the insistent howling of the wind. The hush was only disturbed by the rustle of loose straw stirred by gusts slipping through the cracks in the beams. He flicked his wand towards the loft, and the spell ignited rows of candles lining the rafters. The soft glow revealed stacks of hay bales towering toward the loft, casting stretched shadows on the dusty wooden floor.
"Isn't that a fire hazard?"
"Muggle-borns," he scoffed, as though the mere suggestion was ludicrous.
“So, where’s this tourist attraction?”
He responded with a nod, directing her attention behind her. In the heart of the hay barn, a solitary rope swing dangled from a sturdy support beam.
"Oh, shit!" She dashed toward it, gathering momentum, and caught the swing midway. The worn fibres felt abrasive against her palms as she let it bear her weight. Hooking her foot into the loop, she tilted her head back, swinging with a jumbled grace. She was sure she hadn't consumed enough eggnog to be drunk, but as she propelled herself into the air, her brain began doing cartwheels. She inhaled the earthy aroma of aged wood to ground herself.
Vibrations travelled across the beam and down through the rope as Garreth clambered up a wooden ladder into the loft. There was a moment of rustling and a few mumbled incantations before a triumphant, "Aha!"
He stumbled out from behind a barrel, wrestling with the cork on an unopened bottle of firewhisky. "One thing about having a large family," he began, attempting to mask the strain in his voice, "is that you have to get creative with your hiding places."
"So, this is where you stash your treasure? Good to know."
"Nope," the word was punctuated by a pop as the cork shot out, chipping a battered beam in the process. "This is where my brother stashes his treasure."
"Oh, so you’re that kind of brother. That makes so much sense.”
“What kind?”
“A nosy little shit.”
He raised his wand in response, and the swing slowly began to pull back. She kept her cool until she reached the point parallel to the beam, at which she let out a shriek as her stomach lurched, and she plummeted. As the swing's momentum slowed, she came to a halt breathless and laughing.
"Stop hoarding the loot," she scolded as she emerged at the top of the ladder, finding him comfortably settled against a wooden beam swigging the stolen whisky. She swept aside a few strands of straw with her foot before settling down beside him.
"Come and claim it," he goaded, holding the bottle aloft and swinging it between two fingers.
"I thought you said no funny business."
"Unless you initiated it," he reminded her, "I'm just offering you the chance to kick things off."
On any other day, she would have suppressed the ache to clamber onto his lap, but the combination of a light buzz from the alcohol and him looking like that had left her defenceless. She didn't stand a chance. She intercepted the bottle as he raised it to his lips, taking it from his grasp and straddling his thighs. He seemed caught off-guard as if he hadn't expected things to go this far.
“You've got the talk down, but when it comes to walking the walk, you seem a little skittish," she teased, savouring the sharp burn of the liquid as it coursed down her throat.
His surprise vanished beneath a confident grin. "Skittish? I'm just savouring the moment." Though he sounded sure of himself, his eyes didn't quite meet hers as he reclaimed the bottle, taking a lingering sip.
Setting the glass down with a clink, he ran his hand up the length of her thigh. "I've got you all night, maybe I just want to take my time with you."
She attempted to mask her reaction to his expectations, but judging by the self-satisfied grin on his face, she didn't do a great job. "All night? This is news to me."
"Well, it's a blizzard," he remarked, tracing random patterns on the fabric of her dress. "I can't let you walk back to the village in this. I'm a gentleman."
"I thought your living room had a floo connection," she replied, feigning a mocking tone as she repeated his words back to him.
“It’s one way.”
"Shut up," her laughter was stifled by a gust crashing against the barnyard doors. She jumped, suddenly aware anyone could walk in and catch him nestled between her legs.
"Don't look so frightened. Granny Meryl is much less likely to walk in on you screaming my name out here than in my bedroom."
She despised how much that stupid joke had turned her on, his words winding through her brain and choking out any thoughts that weren't focused on how close he was. Close enough to count each of his freckles, and how she wanted to kiss every one of them. "You seem pretty confident in your abilities."
He hummed, trailing his fingertips along her jaw. "If you're curious, all you have to do is ask."
Her fingers weaved through his hair as she kissed him. A satisfied sigh escaped her throat before she could stifle it, and her toes curled when he seized the opportunity to slide his tongue against hers. She rocked forward against his hips as he pulled her closer, shamelessly grinding against him.
"What do you want?" he whispered painfully soft, his fingers digging into the flesh of her thigh as he pulled her down, inviting her to feel more of him. He was thick and stiff between her thighs and when he rolled his hips up it sent a wave of sparks racing across her skin.
"I want this off," she demanded, tugging impatiently at the hem of his shirt, aching for the absence of any fabric between them. He briefly tore his lips from her skin to wrench it off and fling it aside. Her hands trailed over the contours of his skin, firm beneath a satisfying layer of warmth and softness.
"Your turn," he whispered, moving with painstakingly slow precision as he started to unclasp the buttons of her dress.
Timing couldn't have been more perfect, the snowstorm screamed through the cracks in the wood, but his skin was blazing against hers. Finding solace in the warmth, her freezing hands roamed across his body. Fumbling fingers traced a path downward, hungrily stumbling against his buttons.
"You haven't asked yet," he scolded, guiding her onto her back and settling between her parted legs. He took hold of her hands, rutting against them just once so she could feel how rock-hard he was before pinning them above her head with a sturdy hand. “I want to hear you ask for it.”
A surge of pride and a touch of defiance kept her from begging him to take her. After enduring months of chasing, the audacity for him to assume he would be in control of—
“Can I?” His whispered words in her ear shattered any semblance of self-preservation. He used his free hand to tease the fabric at the neckline of her unfastened dress with delicate fingertips.
She nodded with more eagerness than she'd initially intended as he peeled the fabric down her body. "See how easy it is to ask for it?" he teased, his palm brushing faintly across the sensitive curve of her breasts. Goosebumps erupted across her skin as he flicked his tongue against her taut nipple before taking it in his mouth, his velvety hum vibrating against her skin.
"Garreth," she tried to sound stern, but it escaped as a needy gasp.
"Yes, sweetheart?"
Embarrassingly, a hushed whimper shot up her throat as the affectionate name slipped off his tongue.
"Let go of my hands," her nails traced a path down the nape of his neck as he instantly complied with her demand. Abandoning any pretence of playing coy, she added, "I want it, I want you. Please."
The carnal groan that she’d coaxed from him shuddered through her and pooled between her legs. His fingers trailed up her thigh and slipped under the elastic of her underwear, eliciting a strangled whimper as he exposed the sensitive bud between her legs.
"That's it, moan for me," his touch transitioned from oversensitive to pure bliss as began he circling her clit.
"So... bossy—" Her words melted away as he slid his finger through the gloss on her skin and pushed it inside her.
"It gets you wet though, doesn't it?" he murmured, his lips latching onto her neck. Her eyes fluttered shut, head tossing back as she surrendered to the sensation of him filling her up.
Her fingernails carved into the worn-down grooves of the wooden floor as she ground against his hand. His face faltered as if his brain had shattered at the sight of her riding his hand. "Fuck, keep moving just like that."
His erection strained against his underwear, protruding from his partially undone trousers. He scrambled to free it with one hand while dipping his head between her legs. His tongue circled her clit while his fingers quickened their pace. It was an onslaught - merciless and precise, sending deep waves of pleasure winding through her body. His hungry grunts prickled against her tender skin as he began using his free hand to touch himself.
"I’m right here, you should use me for that," she whispered, watching him pleasure himself through giddy eyes.
"Come on my face, and I’ll let you have it," he slung her thighs over his speckled shoulders and began to devour her. His hands grasped at her plump thighs, pulling her tight against his eager mouth. She could faintly hear herself whining—yes, please, and don't stop.
"Oh, fuck, Garreth please," she begged louder, a shockwave coursing through her body as his fingers found their way back inside her. She clutched at his thick hair, bucking her hips against his face. He groaned appreciatively, and that eager sound forced her over the edge, her orgasm striking her like lightning. He delved his tongue inside her as she lazily rutted against it, riding out the surges of euphoria.
“Look at you, following orders," he grinned, crawling up to cage her in his arms, claiming her lips with a rough kiss, "being so good for me." He spread her legs apart with his knees and directed his arousal between her thighs. His dick gently brushed against her, and she shivered at the heightened sensitivity. "Are you ready, or do you need a moment?"
“I’m ready,” she mumbled as he positioned himself at her entrance, pushing in inch by inch. It was painfully slow and taunting, and when she tried to grab his hip, he interlocked his fingers with hers and pinned it to the floorboards.
“You want more, sweetheart?”
She couldn’t do anything but nod. The way he stretched her out felt sinful, a delicious form of sweet agony. He was vocal, each measured thrust was met with a rough groan and the noise scrambled around in her wonderfully empty skull. She arched as he gave her everything he had, he seamlessly slid his arm into the space left behind with an intoxicating roll of his hips.
"Right there, just like that," she whimpered as he struck a spot that sent shooting stars dancing across her vision.
His name dripped from her tongue like honey as he hit that spot again, driving him to thrust into her with increased force, each effort eliciting louder cries of his name.
"Oh, sweetheart, you feel like you were made for me." He came to a halt, buried to the hilt inside her as he worked a possessive love bite into her throat. "I've wanted this for so long," he confessed between each lingering suck, rocking his hips flush against hers. "Wanted you so bad. Fantasized about bending you over that herbology table. Making you scream."
She had never thought that words could bring her to the summit, especially not the words of Garreth Weasley who typically used them to irritate her. Yet, his rasping confessions were pushing her exceptionally close to the edge.
"Just—just.. stay like that," she pleaded. He was barely moving, but she felt on the verge of splintering apart from the way he was stretching her. His warm body pinned her helplessly to the ground and the unholy pressure of his cock deep inside her sent sparks radiating through her belly.
"You're trembling," he whispered as she fluttered around him. “You gonna come for me?”
"Yes," she whimpered, pulling him close for a kiss. He rocked into her and all she could do was moan as her orgasm slowly rolled through her body like a crashing wave. She had believed they were just two drunk friends giving in to some meaningless tension, but he was kissing her so slowly, stroking her face as he fucked her through each gentle pulse of her orgasm, and it was turning her to putty in his hands.
Wanting to contribute her share, she steadied her trembling legs and gave him a firm shove, rolling him onto his back.
He quickly established a pace she had no control over, gripping her hips to keep her in place so there was nothing she could do but take it. His mouth enthusiastically explored her breasts, kissing and sucking until she felt light in the head. "Do you want it?" The crack in his voice was almost too much to bear. "Want me to come inside you?"
She ran her nails through his hair as his thrusts began to falter and fall out of rhythm. "I want you to come. Please, Garreth I want it." She whispered soft encouragements in his ear, needing him to be as stimulated as had been.
He mumbled her name against her throat, his hips slapping vigorously against her soaked thighs. His head fell back, fiery red hair clinging to his sweaty temples as he grunted with each rhythmic pulse. She nestled against his warm chest, listening to the thunderous pound of his heart as he released deep inside her.
He wrapped her in his arms, and they lay together for what felt like an eternity—his fingers gently trailing through her hair might have even lulled her to sleep for a few minutes before he eventually shifted to reach for his wand.
“Sorry," he told her without a trace of remorse, muttering a few charms to clean them both up.
Clarity slowly returned to her mind, and thoughts rushed in like an avalanche. Should she head home? Was he genuinely suggesting she stay the night? Sticking around for Christmas felt intrusive. Maybe she should muster the will to get dressed and leave—as soon as her legs felt like legs again.
Casting a sidelong glance at Garreth, he seemed to be experiencing the same inner turmoil as she was, absentmindedly picking at his wand while staring down at her. In an effort to dispel the tension, she sat up and delicately kissed the red lines she’d carved into his shoulders.
"If you want this to be a one-time thing," he began, his voice carrying the same vulnerability she heard when he'd held her hand, "I can respect that, I'll take you home and everything between us is good. On the other hand, we could go pilfer a troll sack full of food, bring it to my bedroom, and just be humans together. What do you think?"
"How much is a troll sack?" she smirked, as she delicately brushed some sticky strands of hair away from his eyes.
"Enough to last a couple of days," his confidence began to seep back in as he flashed her a smile. "I don't have any plans for New Years, or you know, any of the days leading up to it."
Pretending to consider the proposition, she glanced at her reflection in a nearby bucket, using it to smooth out her hair. "I say we rejoin the party. I should probably make an effort to socialise if I’m going to be overstaying my welcome."
"Evasive Maneuvers" - Part 2
Tumblr media
Read next part ->
Summary: You've been in love with Sebastian since the moment you knocked him on his arse on your first day. Entering your sixth year, you finally begin working up the courage to confess your feelings when he suddenly becomes the best Beater Hogwarts has seen in decades - and subsequently becomes the school's most eligible bachelor.
Author's Notes: i am so grateful for the response this fic has gotten so far :') to all my lovely readers, thank you for indulging in my brainrot <3 and as a friendly reminder, my requests are open! i reblogged a prompt list to help, but you can absolutely come up with your own and send em on in!
Sidenote: if you’d like to be added to the tag list, let me know!
Headmaster Black clears his throat from behind the podium and addresses the mass of students before him. After the sorting ceremony has been completed all four tables have gained a new gaggle of wide-eyed first years getting to know their housemates.
“Before we officially begin the feast, I have a few words to say,” he announced. He begrudgingly gestured for Madam Kogawa to stand. The quidditch instructor smiled smugly and threw you a conspiratorial nod. You dip your head in acknowledgement and Sebastian shoots you a quizzical look.
“As of this year quidditch has officially been reinstated,” the headmaster declares. He responds to the ensuing uproar with a grimace you can only describe as disgusted before ordering the celebratory shouts to cease.
“In light of the previous year’s -  excitements -  Hogwarts has been chosen to compete in the annual quidditch tournament held for all wizarding schools in Europe. Schools will compete head-to-head until only one champion team remains. Madam Kogawa will now provide information to all those who wish to try out for their house teams.”
Headmaster Black takes his seat at the center of the faculty table and drinks deeply from his wine goblet. Madam Kogawa replaces him at the podium and explains how tryouts would be held the very next day. There is collective confusion over tryouts never being held so early in the year, which she dispells by explaining that each school must submit their roster at the end of the month so that all participating schools could be put on the roster. From the front of the Slytherin table Imelda is watching with rapt attention. There’s not a doubt in your mind that she’s already calculating how much practice she can get in before the next day’s tryouts. Kogawa continues to explain that she’ll be evaluating the house teams at a series of scrimmages to determine the players that will represent Hogwarts.
“Ah, no pressure then,” you hear a voice joke across from you. Garreth Weasley’s smile broadens as you meet his eyes. You blink twice, making sure you’re seeing things correctly. It seems Sebastian wasn’t the only one of your friends who had grown over the summer. His copper-red hair is the same fiery shade it’s always been, but it seems to have grown longer and just unruly enough to be endearing. It frames his defined jaw and you notice that his shoulders and chest have filled out as well.
You offer him a smile in kind and whisper, “Are you trying out for the team?”
He brings a hand to his mouth as though to keep prying ears from listening: “Indeed I am. It seems that my clumsiness on a broom is just what our team needs to lead them to victory.”
You give a rather unladylike snort into your pumpkin juice and quickly bring a napkin to your face. You glance around to see if anyone had seen your mishap, but the room’s attention remains on Madam Kogawa. You glance back at Garreth, intending to scold him for a spill that was entirely your fault, and are met with an expression you’ve never seen him sport before. He looks at you almost…fondly. Perhaps you’re imagining things, but you think you can see a blush highlighting the freckles splashed across his cheekbones. You clear your throat awkwardly, stomach fluttering at his look of affection, before turning your attention back to the front of the hall. You don’t notice a certain brunette staring daggers into the back of a certain red-haired Gryffindor.
-
You yawn and stretch groggily. You had trained your owl, Astra, to wake you at the crack of dawn. Being the first day of classes you knew the school would be abuzz with excitement even without quidditch trials being held today. Being careful not to wake Natty or your other roommates, you cast a soft Lumos and dress quietly. Within minutes you’ve stuffed your knapsack with parchment, quills, and inkpot, and all the textbooks you’ll need for the day. Just before leaving you grab your weathered copy of Pride and Prejudice and slip it into your charmed bag. It was Anne who had shown you the clever expansion charm that allowed you to carry a day’s worth of supplies. You had spent the first few weeks of the summer carting books to and from Feldcroft and the region’s closest libraries. Things had been tense between Sebastian and his uncle in the days leading up to Anne being cured, but once the curse had lifted the worst of the tension seemed to go with it. Solomon still held grudges about Sebastian’s use of dark magic, and Sebastian continued to feel that Solomon had given up on Anne. Things were far from perfect, but they were getting better. Once Ominis had accepted the invitation to stay at the cottage for the summer the four of you spent most of your days traveling up and down the coast. It was the first time in months, possibly years, that you had felt so carefree.
After all that you had faced - Ranrok, Anne’s curse, the rift that had formed between Ominis and Sebastian over his use of dark magic - you’d all spent the first few weeks waiting for the other shoe to drop. As the summer days lengthened and you spent countless hours relaxing by the shore, your group of friends eased into a sense of peace. You left after a few weeks to head to London. After Fig’s passing you learned that he’d left everything to you. He had a small flat in London that contained his personal effects, books, and all the ancient magic research he and Miriam possessed. That’s where you spent the rest of your summer. Between the reading, sorting, and emotional weight the flat carried you hadn’t had time to return to Feldcroft before the start of term.
You wandered around the castle for a bit, stopping to chat with your favorite portraits, sneaking into the kitchens for some early morning biscuits, and sharing your leftovers with the many cats you encountered in the halls. You eventually made your way to the quidditch pitch just as the house captains began calling names for tryouts. A large group of students, sorted into four lines, was waiting at the entrance. They were dressed in various states of gear; some wore full sets of polished leather pads, while others sported nothing more than a helmet. Your gaze landed on Garreth, his bright hair visible as it peaked out from beneath his cap. You were about to make your way to him when a familiar voice caught your attention. Sebastian stood at the front of the line of Slytherin students. He was chatting with another boy in your year who looked extremely nervous about getting on a broom. You strode over to him, a force between gravity and magic closing the distance until you stopped just short of him.
“I didn’t know you played quidditch,” you interrupted. He snapped his attention to you and broke out into a roguish grin.
“You of all people should know by now that I’m full of surprises,” he said with a wink. You felt yourself blush and decided to blame it on the cold morning air if he pointed it out. His play-flirting had become incessant over the past few months. At first you thought it was genuine, but as the months dragged on and he still hadn’t shown any intention of courting you, you decided not to let your hopes up. But that didn’t stop you from indulging in a bit of flirting of your own. You meant every word, but he didn’t need to know that. You knew it wouldn’t make a difference.
“Be careful not to fall off your broom,” you say as you wipe a smudge of dirt from his cheek. “I’d hate to see anything happen to such a pretty face.” You finish the last line simpering and batting your eyelashes, exaggerating everything for comedic effect. It takes you a moment to realize that Sebastian isn’t laughing. He’s tensed up and a pretty blush is accentuating the freckles dotting his cheeks. Confused by his sudden change in demeanor, you place a concerned hand on his arm. “Seb?”
He seems to snap out of it then and adjusts his robes. He forces out a laugh, voice slightly trembling. “I guess I’d better be careful then,” he says quietly. Before you can do more than raise an eyebrow in confusion, he’s called to enter the pitch for his tryout. You make the climb up to the spectators’ seating to watch, but by the time you make it up the many flights of stairs they’ve already moved on to the next candidate. You’re disappointed that you didn’t get to see Sebastian’s tryout, but you decide to stay for Garreth’s. You slip Pride and Prejudice out of your knapsack and flip to the scene where Elizabeth overhears Darcy disgracing her name to Bingley.
When Garreth flies up to the center of the pitch, you shut your book and watch. He’s fast, weaving between the enchanted midair targets at breakneck speed. After he’s been evaluated for the four positions, he circles around the pitch, stopping just in front of you to give an exaggerated bow reminiscent of a knight before his princess. You laugh and place your hands over your heart, playing along. Satisfied, he returns to the grass and dismounts. You gather the rest of your things and head down to greet him and Sebastian.
According to Madam Kogawa the roster of all four teams would be finalized and displayed before the start of classes. Glancing at your watch you realize that you have just a few minutes to interrogate Sebastian about his tryout before you learn if he made the team. You easily spot him lounging, eyes closed, against one of the boulders scattered around the grass, his robe balled up and placed behind his head like a makeshift pillow. You stop just a foot away from him and note how peaceful he looks. His dark lashes fan across his cheeks, chest gently rising and falling with each breath. The wind blows a single stray curl into his face and your arm twitches as you resist the urge to sweep it back to the rest of his locks. Even with his eyes closed he seems to sense your presence and he blinks, gazing up at you blearily.
He says your name, voice still hoarse with sleep, and you tamp down the warmth that spreads from your chest at his tone. “They’re posting the results in a few minutes,” you offer.
“Good,” he grimaces as he rubs a hand behind his neck. “I was starting to get a bit too comfortable. Give me a hand?” he asks, reaching up to you.
You don’t see why he can’t get up himself, but you oblige. You have enough time to register how coarse and warm his hand is before you’re being pulled down and into the grass. You feel the air leave you in a soft huff as you land, but he catches your head in his lap before it can bump against the earth.
You’re winded and breathless and it has nothing to do with your fall and everything to do with the boy cradling your head as though you’re the most precious thing in the world. You feel torn between savoring the moment and pushing down any thoughts of him returning your affections. You can’t afford to get your hopes up. But, god, he smells like parchment and woodsmoke and the scones he always sneaks from the kitchens and you want. You want what you can never have, and if someone were to cast crucio right into your heart at this moment, you’re sure you wouldn’t feel a damn thing. You freeze in place, and affectionately huff out, “You’re so childish, Seb.”
He laughs, and the movement causes you to shift closer to his chest. “And yet, you always fall for it.” And you do. God help you, you do. A sudden commotion snaps both of your gazes to the pitch entrance.
“They’ve posted the rosters!” someone exclaims. Something unreadable passes behind his eyes as he holds your gaze, and then you’re both pushing through the crowd to see the results.
“Slytherin…Beater…yes!” he crows. You immediately turn to congratulate him, but Imelda beats you to it.
“He hit every bludger we threw at him in record time. Knew he was a Beater in the first minute,” she beams. You look back at Sebastian. So that’s why his tryout had been so short.
He crosses his arms over his chest and quirks a brow at you. “I expect to see you in Slytherin green at my first match,” he says smugly. You roll your eyes without an ounce of malice. “We’ll see,” you shoot back. Another round of cheers sounds at your back and you see Garreth pushing through the crowd toward you.
“With how you flew, there’s no way you didn’t make the team,” you say in place of greeting. He grins. “You’re looking at the newest Gryffindor Beater,” he says proudly.
“Congratulations!” you exclaim. He bows his head, as modest as ever despite his spectacular performance. He takes your hand and exaggeratedly places a hand over his heart.
“I vow to lead our House to victory in your name, my lady,” he decrees. You laugh at his antics, but Sebastian’s voice cuts low.
“I suppose I’ll see you on the pitch, Weasley,” his voice dangerously close to a growl. You wonder what transpired in the last thirty seconds to shift his mood to drastically. Garreth places a chaste kiss to the back of your hand before releasing it. You snap your attention back to Sebastian, and he’s staring daggers into your fellow Gryffindor. Garreth laughs good-naturedly, seemingly unaware of the tension. “Nothing wrong with a bit of friendly competition, Sallow.”
“See you soon, Garreth!” Leander Prewett called out as he made his way to exit the Gryffindor common room, pulling a suitcase full of clothes and belongings behind him. “Have a good Christmas!”
“Yeah… bye, Lee,” Garreth mumbled, as he wistfully waved his best friend goodbye. He watched Leander walked through the portrait and out of sight. It was Christmas Eve, and most Hogwarts students were leaving to return home for the holidays.
Garreth Weasley and his older brother, Oscar, were only a handful of Gryffindors staying behind. Their parents and other siblings were going on an extended trip abroad to visit family, and since they wouldn’t be home in time for the boys to go back to school, their parents made the collective decision to keep them at Hogwarts. It wasn’t uncommon for some students to stay behind, and several others from different houses were also staying.
Garreth found himself feeling sombre and emotional, as this would be his first Christmas away from home and family. He was already missing them so much!
Ever since Garreth could remember, when he and his siblings arrived home from Hogwarts, they would pick one present each to open, decorate the homemade gingerbread, play games until bedtime, and then finish the evening with a hot cup of cocoa. Christmas was Garreth’s favourite time of year, and he was devastated when he received the owl informing him of staying at the school. He’d been dreading Christmas ever since.
Oscar looked up from a book he was reading and glanced at Garreth. He was sitting in front of the fireplace by himself, biting his quivering bottom lip, and his eyes looked glassy – clearly, he was trying his hardest not to cry! Oscar felt a tug on his heartstrings seeing his brother look this way, as he was usually such a jolly person, especially at this time of year. Sometimes he would get annoyed at how too happy Garreth could be, but deep down, he loved it really.
Oscar gave a sad sigh to himself and placed the book down on the table. He got out of his chair and slowly made his way to his little brother, noticing that a couple of tears had shed to his cheeks. Garreth looked at Oscar coming this way and quickly turned his back to wipe away the evidence.
“Gar, it’s okay to be upset in front of me,” Oscar said delicately as he sat down next to him. He placed a hand on his shoulder. “Will you look at me, brother?”
Garreth sniffled before shaking his head. “No, I don’t want to. I just want to go home. I want mum and dad.”
Garreth’s voice cracked as he began to sob. Oscar gently rubbed his shoulder in aid to comfort him. “I miss them too, Gar. At least you won’t be alone, and we can spend Christmas together-“
“It’s not the same!” Garreth snapped as he quickly turned around to face Oscar. His cheeks were flushed a crimson red and glistened from the fireplace. “I wish our parents never made the stupid decision to go on holiday! Why did they have to go now? They could have gone any other time! And now I have to spend Christmas with you in this old castle.”
Oscar was taken aback by Garreth’s interruption and felt a little hurt at his outburst. He frowned. “Do you really think I want to be here too? I’m sorry I’m not mum and dad! But there’s no need to take it out on me!”
Garreth folded his arms in frustration. They were both silent for a short moment before Oscar stood up. “I’m going out. Don’t wait for me.” He grabbed the nearest broom and swiftly left the common room, not looking back or saying another word more.
Garreth watched him leave. As soon as he was out of sight his bottom lip began to tremble once again, breaking out into another sob. He quickly dashed to his dorm room and dived under his bed covers, letting out all the sadness and frustration he’d been holding in.
Garreth awoke and realised he must have fallen asleep after crying, he rubbed his eyes and slowly pulled away the duvet from his head. He let his eyes adjust for a moment and peered into the half-empty room that he usually shared with Leander and fellow classmate, Eric Northcott. The room was emptier than usual, not just from the lack of bodies, but the strewn clothes that were often on their beds or furniture were packed away to be taken home.
He sat up and squinted at the grandfather clock opposite his bed, it was just past three o’clock in the afternoon – he had been asleep for a few hours. A groan escaped his throat as he didn’t mean to nap for so long, and he now felt quite lethargic from it. Garreth pulled away the covers and stretched. Even though he was still a bit sleepy, he felt better emotionally. Maybe he could find Oscar and apologise to him. He sat on the edge of the bed and laced up his shoes, grabbed a thick coat, his worn Gryffindor scarf and made his way out of the common room.
As he walked through the double doors that lead to the Bell Tower Courtyard, he looked around eagerly for that familiar head of fiery hair whizzing away on a broom. Oscar was a Chaser in the Gryffindor Quidditch team, but he was training to become a Beater and was planning on trying out for the position in the New Year.
Left and right Garreth looked, squinting to see if Oscar was possibly farther in the distance than the school grounds, but he saw no one, only the odd bird or two that would fly by. He felt rather disheartened and guilty after what had happened earlier, and all he wanted was to apologise and try to spend the remainder of the holidays together as happy as they could be, given the circumstances.
As Garreth entered Central Hall, he realised he could and ask Aunt Matilda if she had seen him anywhere. She was their relative after all and had graciously volunteered to stay behind in the school to help keep an eye on the remaining students (not to mention to try and keep both Oscar and Garreth out of trouble).
Garreth made haste to the Transfiguration classroom and opened the door, he sighed in relief when he spotted his aunt sitting at her desk, scribbling away on some parchment. She looked up as soon as she heard the door creak.
“Garreth! I was planning on checking up on you and the others in the Gryffindor common room before dinner. What can I do for you?”
“Have you seen Oscar in the last few hours at all? He took a broom, so I assumed he went flying, but he’s not outside and he’s not in the common room.”
Matila’s eyebrows furrowed; her mind whirred over the short list of possible places he could be. “I haven’t Garreth, but he could be anywhere, quite frankly.”
Garreth let out an exasperated sigh and Matilda sensed his disappointment. “Is everything alright, dear? You look troubled.”
“Yeah, I guess. Just… please tell Oscar I’m looking for him if you see him.”
Matilda gave Garreth a soft smile and nodded once. “I shall. I’ll see you in a couple of hours.”
As Garreth made his exist, he trudged his way back through the Transfiguration courtyard, he figured the one thing that could help lift his spirits was practicing brewing a potion or two in Professor Sharp’s classroom. He wasn’t quite sure if he was really allowed to, but what’s the worst that could happen? Well, he could blow it up and set the classroom on fire, but today he was feeling rather sensible, for once.
It was 5 o’clock, and Christmas dinner was being served in the Great Hall. Only one table was set-up for the students and teachers staying behind. Oscar didn’t show for dinner, and Garreth was growing more worried. Somehow, Aunt Matilda didn’t look concerned, and was eating and chatting as if nothing was wrong.
Garreth didn’t eat a lot of his food, he wasn’t feeling hungry as he usually does from the guilt he was still feeling. As he stood up, Aunt Matilda made haste to his side. “This is for you.”
She handed him a folded piece of parchment. Garreth frowned slightly. “You might want to open it now,” Matilda said with a wink before escorting the students from the Great Hall to the common rooms.
Garreth folded out the note:
Garreth,
Please come down to the kitchen after dinner. I have a surprise for you.
Oscar
A note from Oscar! Garreth felt relieved! He quickly ran out of the hall and down to the kitchen door, but before he could tickle the pear to enter, the door swung open and one of the kitchen elves stood there smiling up at him.
“You must be Garreth! Please come in,” the elf said cheerfully. Garreth followed the elf and could smell something familiar, something that almost… reminded him of home.
As he stepped further into the kitchen, he could see Oscar carefully pulling trays of something out of the oven and carefully placing them down. He looked up and saw Garreth, his face slightly bewildered.
“Garreth… I’m so glad you’re here!”
Garreth nodded slowly, not sure how to react. “You… wanted to see me? What is this?” He gestured his hands to the table that was messy with flour, egg shells and other ingredients.
“Oh, I… I wanted to apologise and make it up to you. For storming out like that earlier. After my broom flight I bumped into Feenky.” Oscar gestured to the kitchen elf next to Garreth that opened the door for him. “And I told her about what had happened between us. She suggested that maybe I could make some gingerbread for us to decorate. Just like how we do every Christmas Eve with mother and father and our siblings.”
Oscar paused for a moment. Garreth felt his eyes get watery again, and a smile began to creep up on his face. He couldn’t believe it! Oscar has never done anything like this before!
“Now, Gar, don’t get all soppy on me,” Oscar chuckled. He then opened out his arms. “Come here, brother.”
Garreth didn’t need telling twice! He immediately ran and almost knocked over Oscar with how hard he jumped into him. They both laughed for a moment whilst in their tight embrace.
“I’m sorry too, Os. It’s not your fault Christmas is different this year.”
Oscar smiled and ruffled Garreth’s hair. “It’s okay. Now will you help me decorate the gingerbread? We can take them up to the common room afterwards and open a present from our stockings. Maybe even squeeze in a game or two of Wizard’s Chess before bed. How does that sound?”
Garreth didn’t let him go as he looked up to his big brother. “That sounds perfect!”
The soft patter of rain against the roof sounded through the silent carriage in place of voices. The windows littered with droplets that slightly obscured the view of the deep green bathed in dreary grey light.
Your eyes trailed the passing trees, catching on every glimpse of orange or yellow in the sea of swaying emerald leaves. Autumn was coming, it’s cool breeze already taken over the Scottish country side. Replacing the comforting warmth of the summer with a chill in the air.
The door of the carriage swung open, a frantic looking ginger boy the culprit. He rushed in, closing the door swiftly behind him before ducking down. “Don’t say anything, yea. I am not here.” He looked up at you, eyes wide but a smile playing at his full lips.
“You’re dead, Weasley! By the gods, I mean it Garreth.” The look on the girl’s face alone made her anger palpable, her eyes were scanning every visible carriage window, searching for, presumably, the boy before you. Garreth Weasley, the name fit. The girl's white cotton shirt was drenched with an odd purple liquid, it had clearly splashed on her face as well from the streaks left after she has wiped it away.
You opened your mouth to speak, to say what, you weren’t sure but the boy shushed you before any words could escape. “Please.” His eyes were quite lovely, a soft green like a field on a summer day. You opted to say nothing, only watching as the girl stormed off in her search.
“She’s gone.” Garreth let out a breathy laugh, letting himself collapse. “I owe you one, she is a woman of her word. She would have killed me.” He had evidently been afraid enough to hide, but that didn’t stop the mischievous smile that played at his lips, the glint in his eye that told you he didn’t regret his actions.
“What did you do to her?”
“It was just a potion. Merlin, I told her not to touch it but Imelda only listens to Imelda.” He picked himself up off the floor, deciding to sit on the seat directly across from you. His posture comfortable as he leaned forward, arms resting against his knees.
He was looking at you with a gaze that playfully predatory, tracing your form, consuming you in a way that made blood rush to your cheeks. You looked away from him with a small cough, “Excuse me.”
“You’re new.”
“That obvious?”
He hummed in response, “I would certainly remember you. Besides,” he leaned back, still watching you, “You’re American.”
You laughed, “I suppose that will give me away every time in a place like this.”
“I’m Garreth. Garreth Weasley.”
“I caught that. From … the girl.” You waved your hand awkwardly in the direction of the window. “I’m y/n. Asturias.”
“Pretty.” He smiled at you, the first full smile since he’d come before you, sweet and inviting. Muggles have a saying, the devil is beautiful, evil can be welcoming , presenting itself to you dressed as all that you desire. The logical part of you is pushing at your fluttering heart with a stick, trying to catch your attention, trying to make you see logic but all you see is his smile.
Garreth pulls a watch from his pocket, slightly frowning at it before shoving it back where it came from. “We should get changed into our robes, we’ll be arriving soon.” He stood making his way to the door, pushing it open but not leaving before turning back to you once last time , “I’ll see you around.”
Those words were the last solid thing you could grasp, the last rock you try and catch yourself on before being swallowed up by the rushing water whisking you away to the treacherous drop of the waterfall ahead of you.
It was a blur of voices, fluttering robes, and your own anxiously beating heart. You had not been afraid at Ilvermony, you’d known many of the faces around you, known them since you were just a little girl. Only eleven, eleven and the embodiment of excitement as you had started your schooling. But this was different, you knew no one, you were alone in a place you never thought you’d be.
Torn from the life you knew, your home, and tossed in the lions den of the Scottish highlands. You could only focus on your breathing in a failing attempt to ground yourself, in and out, in and out, in and- “Asturias.” You caught the end of your name, breaking your trance. You looked up to see the red-haired professor watching you, waiting for you.
You rushed forward on unsteady feet, trying to make amends for making her wait. Taking a seat on the worn old stool before you, in front of a sea of watching faces, all eyes trained on you.
“It’s all right dear, we do not bite.” The older woman whispered in an attempt to soothe you. You didn’t respond, eyes still scanning the crowd until they landed on the ginger with the pretty green eyes, Garreth. He smiled at you encouragingly, giving you a small wave.
The woman set an old hat on top of your head, the voice enveloped your mind. Whispering to itself as it rummaged through your thought, searching for the information it required. “Hufflepuff.” The voice of the hat carried through the hall, followed by clapping and a few whistles from the hufflepuff table.
You made your way to the table, eyes searching for a spot to sit when a girl called out to you. “Here.” She waved you over, scooting to make room for you. She was a small girl with golden hair tried back into a bun though a few wisps escaped, framing her round face. She smiled at you, giving you a quick once over with eyes the color of a stormy sky. “Adelaide Oakes, it’s a pleasure.”
The blur continued. Countless voices overlapping and filling the hall to the brim with an unmelodious symphony. Every scrape of a utensil against an emptying plate setting your nerves on edge. Adelaide prattled on about anything and everything that came to mind, a sweet girl, but you were too lost in your own head to be of any use to the conversation. Only nodding, humming, and sparing a few sparse replies so she didn’t feel disregarded.
“And then my uncle-“ Adelaide’s voice fell silent as so many others did around you, she turned searching for what had caused the disturbance, you followed suit.
A girl trailing behind the headmaster, her robes yet to hold a house color. Her dark hair fell in an intricate braid to the small of her back, a few strategic strands framing her face. She was tall and slender, holding herself with an air of elegance, her steps smooth and graceful even following a pace she did not set.
The same red-haired professor has pulled the old stool back up to center stage, waiting with hat in hand. The headmaster motioned with an irritated hand. “Welcome, have a seat.” The woman greeted warmly as the girl sat where you had, all eyes on her just as they had been on you. You felt bad for her, worse for contributing to the sea of stares but you watched on nonetheless.
“Slytherin!” Cheers broke out only quieting at the Rosen hand of the headmaster.
“It has been quite the night, welcoming two new fifth years alongside our incoming first years. I’m sure you all must have plenty to do before classes begin tomorrow.” His voice was clipped, impatience dripping from every word.
“I said, I’m sure you all must have plenty to do before classes begin tomorrow!” The students muttered but complied, leaving their seats in groups, dispersing and finding their friends as they made their way out the great hall.
“Come along, I’ll show you the way to our common rooms. The boards show who rooms with who. And who knows, maybe we’ll be put together.” Adelaide looped her arm with yours.
♡・* ゚ ゚*・♡
“Set it there.” The young boy motioned with a loose hand to the wooden table before him. You scurried forward, small hands grasping at the flickering candelabra, setting it where you’d been instructed.
The soft orange glow of the swaying flames played over the boy’s olive skin. He was looking around, though you could see nothing but the table and him. You scooted closer to him, taking his hand in your own. “Are they here?”
“No sister, you’re safe.” He turned back towards you. Trying to maintain a soft smile but you could see the fear in his brown eyes, the window to the soul as muggles say.
“Are you safe?” His smile faltered but he shook his head, letting dark waves fall into his eyes. He cupped your face, bringing you closer before pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Do not fret sister, you are safe.”
“What about you?” the candles flickered out, leaving you in darkness. A cold empty feeling settling in your stomach. Your hands shot out to grab hold of your brother but only meeting empty air.
“Isaiah!” You lurched forward, hands grasping for him, panting uneven breathes.
“Are you alright?” You opened your eyes to see one of your roommates coming towards you, the others already having left for the morning. Her hands encircle one another, twiddling away nervously, concern etched into her soft features. Poppy, that’s her name. Poppy Sweeting.
“I-I’m fine, thank you. I apologize for disturbing you.” You muttered the words, raking a hand over your face in embarrassment. She didn’t look convinced but nodded anyways, “No worries.” She paused, looking you over, “You should get ready. I’ll show you to our first class.”
You freshened yourself up and dressed quickly, following poppy through a labyrinth of stairs and halls in awkward silence. Your mind still running circles around your dream as you tried to focus on memorizing your current path. “Charms class.” Poppy motioned with a introductory wave of her arm.
She gave a quick smile before scuttling off to sit next to a curly hair Gryffindor girl. Most of the students were already seated and chatting animatedly with their friends. You stood, searching the room for a free place to sit, though there were a few you were not met with friendly faces.
“Here! Behind you, there is an open seat here.” A dark skinned Gryffindor with a foreign accent called out, waving you over to sit beside her. “Hello, I am Natty. So you’re one of the new students? Have you met professor Ronen yet?”
Before you could respond the professor cleared his throat, demanding the attention of the class. “Shall we begin.” He chuckled, beginning his decent down the stairs. “Welcome to year five of charms. Now, this will be a crucial year in your education on the art of charmwork, but I am confident that we will take hold with the passion and rigor requisite of such a challenge.”
He did a small hop off the last step, slightly crouching as he motioned enthusiastically. A jolly man certainly. “Right! Now, everyone please open your textbooks to page five one seven.” He strolled over to his desk, standing before it to face the class. “But. Before we begin. Can anyone tell me the difference between the incantations of the color change and growth charms?”
There was a few groans, many students dropping their heads on the desks. No one raised their hands, not ready to fully transition from summer to class time just yet. “Anyone?” Natty slid her book over to you, pages open to the information you’d need to answer his question.
You had all but glanced at the page when professor Ronan noticed. “Ah, ah, ah. I’m afraid it is too late to study now.” He pulled out his wand, summoning the book to him with a wordless spell. Natty gave you a sheepish smile in turn.
Professor Ronen hummed, stepping down to walk between the desks. “My, the summer months must have really taken a toll on you all.” He chuckled. “By the looks of it, you all spent your holidays practicing Oblivate on one another.” He gave a hearty laugh to his own joke though the merriment did not resonate with the students.
The rest class was quite enjoyable, the professor’s enthusiasm was almost contagious. He even ended the class with a friendly competition of summoning, calling you and natty to compete against one another. Natty won by ten points.
“Gods, you are good.” She laughed patting you on the shoulder, “You may well give me a run for my title in summoners court. If you care to join.”
You spent the rest of the day being escorted to your next classes by those willing to help you. Though the more time went on the less sure you were that you would ever memorize the paths you needed to take in the vast castle. Even worse when you had received an owl from professor Weasley to see her after classes were finished, in the transfigurations classroom, as if you were just expected to know your way there. But nonetheless you persevered.
“You trust me with her?” A laugh deep and soft could scarcely be heard through the wooden door.
“I trust that you’ll do as I ask you.” Professor Weasley’s voice was stern even muffled and distant.
“You watch over me like a hawk. I can do nothing without your scrutiny and now watching from a distance is no longer enough for you? You must take my time and make it wholly yours!”
You couldn’t listen any longer, feeling more guilt over your unintentional eavesdropping than over interrupting this private conversation. Besides, you were asked to be here.
“What are you doing here?” The question startled you, yanking your hands away from the door before you could even open it a smidge, as if you had been caught, as if you were doing something wrong.
The girl stood there arms folded over her chest, it took you a second to place, the other new fifth year transfer. “Arabella Davis.” You let out a nervous laugh. She eyed you with suspicion, did she really think you were doing something wrong?
A beat of silence passed as she watched you, eyes raking over you like a beast stalking their prey. Her icy blue gaze bit into you, tracing you like the serrated edge of a blade, making goosebumps rise in her wake.
“I asked you what you’re doing?” You couldn’t help the awkward laughter, it was a bad habit. Your parents had spent years trying to correct it, it was improper they said and yet you never failed to revert back to it. In countless situations, the noise bubbled up and out of you on its own accord, especially when you were at a loss for words.
“I’m uh, I’m here to meet Professor Weasley. I have something to discuss with her.” Arabella sneered as if she didn’t believe you, “You’ll have to come back another time. I have a scheduled meeting with her.”
“So do I!” You were never quick to write people off, never quick to pick them apart and find what you disliked but in the face of that which should be your peer, the tides were turning. You snapped at her, mirroring her stance defiantly. Who does she think she is?
“Enough! You will take the girl!” Professor Weasley’s voice was loud enough to be heard clearly, snagging both yours and Arabella's attention, your heads turning towards the abrupt noise simultaneously.
You didn’t wait any longing, stepping away from your catty classmate and pushing open heavy wooden doors. “Professor?” Though you had called out to one person your gaze caught on another. Of course you couldn’t have known who your Professor had been arguing with but you hadn’t expected him.
Garreth’s eyes caught yours for only a moment before looking away, raking a rough hand though his curls, an exasperated huff passing his lips. It shouldn’t have hurt your feelings, really, you knew that.
You had one conversation with the boy, one conversation where he was decently nice, you should not be bothered by his reaction. You don’t know him and he doesn’t know you, but you are and you can’t stop the way your heart tinges in your chest.
“Miss Asturias, Miss Davis. I’m so pleased you’re both here.” You give the Slytherin girl a triumphant glance, though you’re not sure if she even saw it. “Mr. Wesley will be escorting you Miss Asturias and Mr. Sallow you, Miss Davis.”
The slight tinge all but turned into an ache. The confirmation that it had been you he had been so angry about hurt. Had you done something wrong, made a bad first impression? Maybe you just need to stop latching onto people that show you an inkling of kindness like they’re your lifeline. A bad habit, one you’ve been no more able to break then your badly timed laughter.
You looked over to the other boy mentioned, Sebastian Sallow. He had been in your defense against the dark arts class, he had dueled Arabella on Professor Hecate’s order. It had been a fair match but the brunette boy still won in the end.
How awkward it must have been to have a front row seat to a family squabble, you felt for him. But he didn’t look too off put by what he’d been witness to as he stood, smiling at Arabella. “My new charge.” He laughed, “Seems you cannot escape me.”
The lot of you had been sent off to Hogsmead for some supplies and other essentials. Arabella had quite the list, seemingly having nothing she required, not even a wand of her own. It made you wonder, she is a strange girl and not one you were sure you wanted to be around. Your list was much shorter only needing to get a few things.
The two Slytherins had broke off from the group almost immediately, and without a word to you or Garreth. Leaving the both of you to walk in a heavy silence, though the view made up for the lack of conversation. Your mother often told you sometimes the only way to truly appreciate the beauty of nature is without the stain of words.
“I’m sorry.” His voice was soft, quite and almost reluctant as if he’d been forced to say the words. “You have nothing to apologize for.” You glanced at him to find him already watching you, making a blush crawl up your neck.
“I do. This,” he motioned awkwardly around himself, “has nothing to do with my you. My aunt is just,” He sighed, “My time has not been my own in five years, and I know she means well. She does. But Merlin.”
You waited a moment for him to continue, when he didn’t you responded, “I get it.” The silence fell over you once again but this time comfortable and warm like a blanket on a chill winters night.
You understood his plight, much to your displeasure. You understood it all too well. You had lived your life like a porcelain doll up on the shelf, safely behind the glass of your parents watchful eyes for far too long. That was exactly why you where here now, near a witch grown and still being dragged along by your parents like you were a child.
You suppose that’s the way they see you, still the frightened little girl clinging to your mother’s skirts. Still the sobbing hiccupping child trying to wash away the blood, trying to revive that which had long been dead.
Tbh I'm horny too and all I can think about if it Seb and MC are 7th years studying for NEWTs in the library/common room with all the other HLCs, MC trying to provoke Seb by giving him looks, purposefully reaching across the table into his space, dropping their quill and bending over, wearing that perfume that drives him crazy, ect, but Seb knows they need to study and pass their test so he resist temptation much to MC's disappointment though unknowingly they unleashed a beast that is being pent up and growing in anger for a couple more days until NEWTs are done.
I love this! I'm not sure if this was a prompt but it inspired me. Thank you 💜
Naughty Escapades and a Wily Temptress
Warnings: 18+, Teasing galore, idiots making a dumb deal, unruly teenagers who can't keep their hands to themselves, cunnilingus, p in v sex, unprotected sex, breeding kink, dirty talk, praise kink, semi public sex, there are probably more but I can't think of them, oh overuse of my favorite pet name which I'm sure you guys can guess by now Pairing: Sebastian x f!MC Word count: 2659 Thanks to @sallow-tales for help with the name of this fic! 😘
Three days before the start of their NEWTs, Sebastian, MC, and all their friends sat on the floor in a corner of the library, books and parchment spread out around them. They had spent every moment between classes here for the past two weeks, cramming in as much study time as they possibly could. Tensions were high amongst the group, every member aware their futures were hanging on the outcome of these tests. Sebastian was tense for a different reason, though. MC would not stop teasing him. All week she had been doing little things to rile him up, undoubtedly hoping he would give in to his desires and go back on their deal. It had been a spur of the moment idea after their first day of studying had ended with him pulling her away, pinning her up against a bookcase and kissing her neck, grinding himself against her thigh. After he came down from the high of his orgasm, his cock back in his pants, he looked her in the eyes, a pained look in his face. “We can’t do this again until these damn NEWTs are over with, Princess. We need to focus on studying while we’re here. Let’s make a deal, no more sex until we’ve both taken our final NEWT. I can’t believe I’m the one saying this but I think it’s a good idea. What do you say?” She had nodded and kissed him before walking back to gather her things.
The teasing had started a few days later and just like today, it took every ounce of self restraint he possessed to resist her. More than once today he had found his hand automatically reaching out to slap her ass when she leaned forward on her knees to reach for notes from someone in their little circle. He had been able to stop himself in time, but he knew she wouldn't stop trying.
He looked down at her head on his shoulder, trying to ignore the way she was purposefully blowing on his neck. This was the closest she had been to him in days and the smell of her perfume left his head spinning. Letting out a soft whimper as her breath hit him just right, a shiver running down his spine, he set his quill down. “Princess, don’t you think you should be studying something other than my freckles right now? If you need a break, go sit with the girls for a while.” She pulled away, pouting as she stood and weaved her way over to Imelda and Poppy, looking over her shoulder at him before hiking her skirt up over her knees, and dropping to the floor, sitting exactly the way she did when kneeling in front of him. Flashes of her lips around his cock, her pretty eyes staring up at him, played in his mind and he shifted around, adjusting himself.
She’s going to be the death of me.
An hour later she returned, picking up her books, bending over right in front of him giving him a perfect view of her breasts. Before he could help it a small groan left his lips and she smirked. As she sank to the floor, he reached for her waist pulling her into his lap. The little gasp she let out stoked the fire of resolve in him. He leaned in close, brushing her loose hair off her ear before pressing a small kiss to it. “You think it’s funny, teasing me like this, Princess? You think it’s going to get you what you want?” He gripped her jaw, turning her head to face him. “I assure you it won’t. Not yet.” He lifted her off him, roughly setting her down next to him once again. He took a deep breath, shaking his head to clear it of the already fading feeling of her body on his. He longed for her more than he could express, but he was determined to see this through.
Okay, you can do this, Sebastian. It’s only another week. Seven days. Just seven more days.
———————
The morning after his final NEWT was over, Sebastian sought her out like a heat-seeking missile, ready to explode. He found her by the edge of the lake with Poppy, Natty, and Imelda, splayed out in the grass, laughing as the sun danced on their faces. He wasted no time, getting her attention with a loud shout of her name, his lips curling into a slight snarl. He knew he probably looked terrifying, out of his mind, racing towards her, his clothes disheveled from running around the castle, but he didn’t care, he was desperate to have her. Dropping to his knees, he sank down between her legs, just barely resisting the urge to throw one over his shoulder right then and there, smiling as he caught a glimpse of her bare pussy, thanking Merlin he’d finally convinced her to stop wearing panties. “I think you owe me something, love, and I’m here to collect.” Around him the other girls gasped and giggled, and he looked up, smiling at them. “Hello, ladies, having a nice day are we?” Not waiting for an answer he leaned over MC and crushed his lips onto hers, groaning as she wrapped her legs around him and deepened their kiss, her hands tangling in his hair and grabbing at his shirt. When she finally released him, a smirk on her face, his resolve to hold out for privacy broke. “Fuck, Princess, I will take you right here in front of your friends if you don’t stop teasing me.” When her grip on his shirt didn't loosen he made a show of reaching for his pants, getting the top button undone before she stopped him.
“Not here, Sebastian!” She pushed him off her, shaking her head as he roughly pulled her to her feet, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder before turning around and carrying her towards the castle. He felt her wave to her friends, chuckling as they made exaggerated ohs and small whistles, Imelda even shouting “Get it babe!” before they broke into loud laughter again.
Oh, don't worry she’s going to.
He carried her to the closest classroom, now empty for the rest of the term, setting her down on the teachers desk before he closed the door. “Get your skirt off, MC, unless you want me to rip it off you.” Standing by the door, he watched as she eagerly slid the fabric over her hips, shifting to push it past her butt, loving the sound as it finally fell in a heap to the floor. Letting out a soft groan, he slipped off his robe. “Spread your legs, Princess, touch yourself for me.” Feeling his heart race as she did, soft moans reaching him as she circled her clit, he forced himself to stay where he was, to enjoy the show she was putting on for him. His cock twitched endlessly as she stuck two fingers into her mouth, sloppily running her tongue over them before bringing them down to her core, slipping them into herself with a loud sigh, her eyes fluttering closed as she found the rhythm she wanted. Rubbing his palm over his clothed cock a few times, he closed the distance between them, quickly undoing the rest of his buttons, freeing his cock from its confines. One hand wrapping around himself, stroking slowly, the other hand gripped her jaw pulling her lips to his, greedily forcing them open to admit his tongue.
When the dizziness from loss of oxygen forced him to break away, he gripped her wrist stilling her movements, gently pulling her fingers out of her core. Once again dropping to his knees in front of her, he took them into his mouth, sucking them clean before wrapping his arms around her legs, pulling her closer to the edge of the desk. Kissing at her thighs, he looked up at her. “Have you missed me, Princess? I sure as hell have missed you.” Flattening his tongue he lapped at her folds, groaning against her as her hands found their way into his hair and she tugged at the soft brown strands.
“God, yes! I’ve missed you so much, Sebastian…oh that feels so good.”
He swirled his tongue around her clit, gently sucking at it as he pushed a finger into her, pumping his hand quickly. “Fuck, I want to make you cum on my tongue, baby, but we don’t have time for that right now. Someone is bound to hear the beautiful sounds you make for me.” She bucked her hips under him, her strong grip holding his head in place as her thighs closed around him. “Okay, I get the hint, a few more minutes of tasting your delicious pussy it is.” He chuckled as her legs spread open again, returning to his task with renewed enthusiasm. He slurped at her folds, moved his head every which way, used every tick he had to make the minutes count. Looking up at her as he caught his breath, admiring the beauty in the expressions he could get her to make, he heard shouting outside the classroom. They froze as the sound grew louder, accompanied by hurried footsteps, relaxing as whoever it was ran by, the sounds dissipating as they moved further away. The refreshed reality of their situation and realization they could be caught at any moment spurred Sebastian into action. “Fuck, baby that was close, we can’t wait any longer.” He stood up, giving her a quick kiss, sighing as she licked her juices off his lips, taking her hands and gently pulling her off the desk. “Turn around and bend over, I’m going to take you fast and hard, just the way you like.” Caressing the soft skin of her butt as she bent over, he lined up with her slit, quickly pushing into her in one swift motion. Thrusting into her, he groaned at her velvety softness, her walls already twitching around him as he set a quick pace, hands gripping her hips hard enough to leave bruises. As the sweat built on his forehead, their sounds of pleasure drowned out by the slaps of his thighs against hers, he studied her face. Her cheek pressed against the cool surface under her, mouth open letting her soft whimpers escape, her eyes shut tight in bliss. Reaching down he lifted her leg onto the desk, desperate to be deeper inside her, and he hit the deepest part of her, making her groan and clutch uselessly at the smooth wood surface of the desk. “Damn, you look so beautiful right now, MC. I love that you let me see you this way, powerless and falling apart around me. You never look so breathtaking to me, Princess. Okay, maybe when you use Ancient Magic, but that’s different. Then I’m the powerless one falling apart for you.”
She giggled softly, “Good to know there’s equal opportunity for you in this relationship, Sebby.” He laughed loudly at her joke while increasing the power behind his thrusting, and they fell into a fit of laughter as the heavy wooden desk beneath her suddenly shifted, the leg grinding against the stone floor as it moved.
“We’re gonna get caught if we stay here much longer, baby. Are you close?” He looked over his shoulder at the door as if expecting someone to walk through it at that exact moment.
“Did you mean it, Sebastian, would you actually have done it?”
He whipped his head around, his look of pleasure giving way to one of confusion. “Done what, love?”
Her voice was soft as she shyly admitted what was on her mind and he had to slow his thrusts to be sure he heard her. “Would you really have…fucked me in front of my friends?”
He chuckled, stepping back slightly, pulling her off the desk and up to him. Wrapping his arms around her, pressing her back into his chest, he brushed her hair off her neck, lips leaving wet kisses in his wake. “Yes, I would have. Would you have liked that, Princess? Think you could have gotten over the shock of it, forgotten your embarrassment once my cock was inside you?” Resuming his fast pace thrusting, he kissed her jaw as she threw her head back against his shoulder with a loud moan. “Answer me, Princess.”
“Yes! Yes, I would have loved it! Fuck, I would have loved it so much!” She brought an arm up to wrap around his neck, fingers clutching at his hair.
“Mmmhm, that’s my girl, my good girl.” Letting go of her hip he moved his hand down to rub slow circles against her clit. “You never did tell me if you were close to cumming, but it doesn’t matter now. I’m going to make you cum on my cock and then I’m going to fill you with my seed, and you’re going to go back out to your friends, giggling as they ask you about what I did to you. I want you to tell them. Tell them what a good slut you are for me. I want you to blush and stumble over your words as you admit you let me cum inside you and that you love the way it feels dripping out of you as they question you.” He felt her walls clench around him, her orgasm about rock through her. “Fuck, you really like that idea don’t you, Princess? You want all your friends to know how naughty you are…That’s it, cum for me, baby.” Panting in her ear, he fucked her through her orgasm, pressing kisses to every inch of her skin he could reach. Burying himself inside her, resting his head on her shoulder, he let out a deep guttural grunt as he reached his climax, ropes of his seed coating her walls as they gently fluttered around him a few final times.
Sighing happily he pulled her body as close as he could, letting her relax against him. “Gods, you are incredible, baby. I love you.” Pulling out of her, spinning her around he peppered soft kisses over her face, making her giggle as she returned the sentiment. Bending down he picked up her skirt, shaking out the rumpled fabric, holding her steady as she stepped into it, and slowly pulled it up her legs. Fluffing up her hair, dislodging the flyaways stuck to her damp forehead, and tucking in her shirt, he gave her a deep kiss. Stepping back and tucking his cock back into his pants, he ran his eyes over her as she smiled innocently at him. “There, now you can’t even tell you just spent the last hour being a dirty little slut. Are you ready to get back to your friends, Princess? Ready to tell them all the things I did to you and how much you loved it? Honestly, I’ll be disappointed if they don’t give me nasty looks next time I see them.” Laughing, he took her hand, slowly opening the door, peeking out before pulling her into the corridor. Running through the castle, laughing at her little screams as he pretended to chase her, picking her up and spinning her around when he ‘caught’ her. As they burst through the doors that would lead them to the lake, he slung his arm around her neck, pulling her close. “I can’t believe we only have a little time left here. I’m going to spend every free moment we have left burying my cock in you, Princess. But for now, go spend time with your friends.” He kissed her cheek and gave her ass a small slap, smiling happily as he watched her head for her friends.
Summary: part ii of where there's smoke there's firewhiskey
“I think your boyfriend likes to watch,” Garreth murmurs against the hinge of your jaw. “Sebastian,” you breathe. “Is… is this okay?” “Of course, darling,” he tells you, lazily flicking open the button at the front of his trousers to work them open and wrap his hand around his cock. “Go on and have your fun with him.” You laugh breathlessly at his words – it feels more like Garreth is having his fun with you, especially when he grinds against your ass and lets you feel his hard cock in his jeans.
Sebastian herds you upstairs to your dorm with one warm, broad hand at the small of your back, tucked up beneath your shirt to lay flat against your skin. Everywhere he’s touching you feels almost like it burns, his searing-hot fingertips shifting with every step you climb.
You let yourself into your dormitory room with shaky hands, sighing in relief when you see that all three of your roommates have taken off for the night.
“Lock the door, Weasley,” Sebastian murmurs, letting his hand fall away from you so he can fish out his wand and enchant your frustratingly small bed into one big enough to support… well, whatever it is you’re about to do, you suppose.
Behind you, Garreth casts an anti-unlocking charm on the door and grabs your roommate’s desk chair to shove up underneath the door handle.
He winks at you when he catches you watching with a skeptical look.
“Just in case,” he reasons. “It can’t hurt to make sure we’ve got all the privacy we need.”
Then Garreth steps toward you and wraps his arms around your waist to pull you in against his chest, nosing at your cheek until you tip your face up to let him kiss you. He’s slow and curious, taking his time to observe what makes you whine and gasp – and where you’ll allow him to let his hands wander.
While he slides his hands beneath the hem of your shirt, Sebastian is uncharacteristically silent.
“Garreth,” you whisper. “Bed. Please.”
But instead of walking you backward as you’d expected, he simply uses his grip on your waist to turn you around and pull you back against his chest. He mouths at the spot where your neck meets your shoulder with one hand still on your waist and the other sliding up higher and higher.
When you slowly blink your eyes open, you see Sebastian reclining on your bed. He’s watching the two of you with a heavy gaze while he slowly palms at himself, that damn varsity jacket abandoned on the floor.
“I think your boyfriend likes to watch,” Garreth murmurs against the hinge of your jaw.
“Sebastian,” you breathe. “Is… is this okay?”
“Of course, darling,” he tells you, lazily flicking open the button at the front of his trousers to work them open and wrap his hand around his cock. “Go on and have your fun with him.”
You laugh breathlessly at his words – it feels more like Garreth is having his fun with you, especially when he grinds against your ass and lets you feel his hard cock in his jeans.
“Fuckin’ lovely, you are,” he mumbles in your ear. “Let me touch you?”
You hum in assent and arch your chest toward his hovering hand. Garreth cups you through your bra and drags his thumb hard across your nipple, earning a broken moan from you. You’re trembling as you lean back against him – you suspect it’s not just the substances you’ve consumed that have you weak.
“Garreth,” you whine.
“Let’s get you undressed, lovely,” Garreth suggests. “Then we’ll see about relieving some of that tension, hmm?”
Garreth tugs the hem of your shirt up over your head and helps you shimmy your skirt down your hips, leaving you in just your bra and panties. You feel both boys’ warm gazes on you as Garreth coaxes you toward the bed, and once you’re close enough for Sebastian to put his hands on you, he tugs you up next to him and pulls one of your legs across his lap so you’re straddling him.
“Tell me what you’re thinking about,” he asks you softly.
“I mean… this,” you admit with a shy smile. “I can’t think of anything but this.”
It’s true – the Mallowsweet and Firewhisky in your system are making it difficult to focus on any one thought, yet they all swirl around the central theme of “Sebastian And Garreth Are In Your Bed.”
“Be specific,” Sebastian gently chides. “Tell me how you want us to do this.”
You blush and stammer as you avoid Sebastian’s gaze. As much as you’re enjoying everything that’s happened so far, you aren’t exactly sure what to say when he asks.
You could suck Garreth off, you think. Or you could let Sebastian watch you ride Garreth and then suck him off, or – or you could take one between your breasts and let the other–
“Focus, beautiful,” Garreth teases.
“R-right,” you stutter. “Um. I don’t know. I just… I want you both.”
Sebastian and Garreth share a look that’s inscrutable to you, but as much as it irks you, you realize both boys probably have a better idea of what to do logistically. (Of course Sebastian would know, seeing as he’s become a well-read slag thanks to those dirty books of his. Garreth is actually just a slag.)
“Should we just…?” Sebastian offers.
Garreth’s eyes drift to your mouth and you distractedly bite your lip.
“Fuck, yeah,” he breathes. “Whatever works, I’m down for anything.”
You whine, wordlessly begging Sebastian to explain whatever plot he’s cooked up. Instead, he tips you onto your back in the middle of the bed, sliding one hand up the inside of your thigh while Garreth clambers onto the side opposite him.
“What do you think, love?” Sebastian murmurs. “You want to take us both at the same time?”
You sit up on your elbows and lazily glance between the two eager boys kneeling beside your spread legs.
“...The same time?” you ask hesitantly. “Might hurt, I think.”
“Not in the same place,” Sebastian clarifies, sliding a soothing hand across your knee. “That’s… that’s a bit much for tonight.”
“Agreed,” Garreth quickly says. “Not for the faint of heart, or the stoned and drunk.”
You giggle helplessly while Sebastian’s fingertips tease at the sensitive crease of your hip, dipping underneath the lace hem of your panties.
“What I’m thinking,” he says in a low voice, “is that we get you on your hands and knees for us, yeah?”
“Yeah,” you whine, echoing him mindlessly.
“And then while I’m taking you apart right here,” he says, punctuating his words with a firm press of his fingertips to your core, “you can show Garreth how sweet you can be with that mouth of yours. How’s that sound, love?”
You shiver and arch your hips toward his hand. “Sounds amazing.”
“You’re sure?” Sebastian asks you, pressing a messy kiss underneath your jaw. “You’re not too stoned for all this, are you?”
“Barely had any,” you insist. “Please, I just…I feel like I need you to touch me, Seb.”
Garreth snorts and mumbles, “That’ll be the Firewhisky, not my Mallowsweet.”
(It’s true that many witches and wizards your age report feeling quite, er… amorous after a few too many shots of the spicy cinnamon liquor. If you weren’t familiar with Sebastian’s sweet tooth, you’d think that was the main reason he liked it so much – though as side effects go, it’s not one you ever complain about.)
“Not too drunk, then?” he presses.
“No,” you whimper. “I swear.”
Just before he kisses you, Sebastian nips at your bottom lip and murmurs, “Good girl.”
Garreth undresses while Sebastian teases you through your panties. You’re properly soaked and have been since Garreth first slid his hand up your skirt downstairs, but Sebastian’s always been a bit greedy when it comes to foreplay.
You know for a fact he gets off on making a mess of you – often with his fingers and occasionally with his mouth – before he ever presses inside.
Eventually, Sebastian withdraws his hand so you can shakily turn over onto your stomach, settling on your hands and knees. He gently drags your panties down and lets you lift one knee at a time so he can pull them all the way off, and then he kneels between your thighs and grinds the head of his cock against your entrance.
All the while, Garreth kneels before you and observes with a hungry, anticipatory smirk on his lips.
“Go on, Weasley,” he says softly. “She’s waiting for you.”
You tip your chin up eagerly while Garreth strokes himself a few times in front of your face. He’s got a fantastic cock, you think – long, flushed pink, already getting wet at the tip. You lean forward and kiss his cockhead, letting some of that wetness smear on your lips.
“Fuck,” Garreth hisses. “Don’t tease me, love.”
You blink up at him with wide eyes while you hold your mouth open for him, your tongue jutting out just enough to entice him into sliding inside. When you close your lips around his length he curses under his breath.
“She’s bloody brilliant with her mouth,” Sebastian says from behind you. “Wait ‘til you see what she can do with her tongue.”
Before you get a chance to show off, Sebastian curls his hands around your hips and presses the head of his cock inside. You moan around Garreth while he sinks deeper inside you, until his thighs are flush with the backs of yours and you can feel his cock pressed up against that devastating spot inside you that renders you incoherent.
“Merlin, sweetheart,” he grunts. “You look unreal getting filled from both ends.”
Sebastian skims his hands up the length of your back to grip your waist for leverage before he starts to fuck you in earnest. The motion of his hips knocking into your ass pushes you farther onto Garreth’s dick, and it’s all you can do to swallow around him and moan helplessly while he twists his fingers in your hair.
“Just like that, lovely,” he encourages you. “Gods, your mouth…”
You feel yourself start to slip into a blissful haze, your eyes fluttering shut as you cling to Garreth’s hip with one hand and your rumpled bed sheets with another. Sebastian’s steady pace drives the motion of all three of you; all you have to do is let him snap his hips against your ass and keep your mouth open wide.
“You can – you can fuck her mouth if you want,” Sebastian says to Garreth. “She’ll let you, won’t you love?”
You try to whimper your assent, and even if the words don’t come out clearly, the sentiment does. Garreth curls his long fingers around your jaw and starts to rock against your mouth, meeting your motions with equal pumps of his own to sink even deeper, until his cockhead is teasing at the back of your throat.
Behind you, Sebastian is stuttering a litany of curses. His grip on your waist is tight, and if you could talk you’d be begging him to go even faster, to not stop until he comes deep inside you how he likes.
“You look wrecked,” Garreth laughs breathlessly, glancing up at him. “Does she let you come inside?”
“Yes she bloody does,” Sebastian growls. “Only me.”
“Understood,” Garreth grunts. “Let’s see it then, mate.”
Sebastian reaches up and tangles one of his hands in your hair alongside Garreth’s, holding you steady while he grinds deep inside you. With his other, he rubs at your clit until you’re squirming helplessly beneath him, practically choking on Garreth while your orgasm sneaks up by surprise and hits you like a Bludger.
He groans your name as he finishes in you and gently curves over your back while he catches his breath. (You know it’s also to keep his mess in you as long as possible before he pulls out; then he’ll let it slowly drip down the insides of your thighs.)
Garreth gently taps your hollowed-out cheek and you realize you’ve distractedly gone still with his cock in your mouth.
Unbothered, he simply asks, “Mind if I have a turn?”
You pull off with a filthy wet sound and a gasp, nodding excitedly. Suddenly, taking both of them inside tonight feels like a brilliant idea.
Sebastian carefully pulls out and manhandles you back onto your elbows and knees, pressing stray kisses to your skin wherever he can while Garreth climbs off the bed and rejoins you where your boyfriend has just knelt.
You hiss softly when his cock presses against your entrance.
“Don’t even think about coming in her, Weasley,” Sebastian warns in a threateningly low voice.
“Relax, Sallow,” Garreth grunts, jaw tense as he sinks inside you. “I know what I’m doing.”
“I bet you do,” you sigh, giggling into your folded forearms as Garreth grips your hips and hikes them up a bit higher.
He groans softly as he starts to fuck you. At first, he holds your hips in place as he helps himself to your body with long, slow thrusts that hit you so deep inside that your toes curl. However, it doesn’t take long for him to lose that patient, easygoing air of his, and once he decides he’s going to wreck you, he bends down and kisses along your spine as his pace shifts to something much quicker, and much more desperate.
“You’re still so tight, even after Sebastian,” Garreth mumbles into your shoulder. “Merlin, you’re fuckin’ tempting, love.”
You sigh softly when you feel Sebastian’s hand gently cup the back of your head, his fingers weaving into your hair to gently coax you into looking up and meeting his gaze where he sits beside you on the bed.
“How do you feel?” he asks you.
“Full,” you whimper. “Good. Great.”
Sebastian smirks, tracing his thumb along the hinge of your jaw. “All we had to do was lower your inhibitions a little, hmm? Otherwise you never would have told me that you’d get off on me sharing you like an object, you sweet, silly thing.”
You’re blushing hard by now, but damn him, he’s right.
“Where do you want Garreth to finish, darling?” Sebastian asks you. “He’s getting close.”
Your mind is much too muddled to come up with any sort of preference, so eventually you just sigh, “Wherever he wants.”
Sebastian glances curiously at Garreth, whose eyes are firmly fixed on where you’re stretched around his cock as he thrusts in and out, over and over. He grips your ass with both hands to hold you open so he can greedily look his fill.
“Right here,” he slurs. “N-not inside, just… right here.”
Without warning he lifts one hand and smacks your ass, and you both groan in unison – you at the sharp sting and immediate warmth, and Garreth at how your cunt clenches even tighter around him.
“Watch it,” Sebastian warns.
“Sorry mate, couldn’t help myself,” Garreth grits out. “Fuck, her ass is gorgeous.”
“You gonna come on it?” you ask in a lazy, satisfied drawl. “Go on, Garreth… maybe next time I’ll let you come inside it.”
That’s all it takes for Garreth to roughly pull out of you as he stutters, “Shit, shit!”
Then he spills across your ass, paying special attention to the bright red mark he’d spanked onto you just moments earlier. You gasp and hum happily at the feeling of his warm, wet release joining Sebastian’s mess as it drips down the curve of your ass onto the backs of your thighs. As soon as he sighs contentedly and sits back on his heels, you collapse onto the bed and let your eyes slip shut.
“Gods,” he pants. “That’s… that was brilliant.”
You wait patiently for one of the boys to clean you up, missing the pointed look Sebastian shoots at Garreth before handing him his wand. Garreth keeps one steadying hand right at the base of your spine before casting Scourgify to clear his mess from your skin.
“You’re all clean, love,” he tells you as he leans over your back to press a quick kiss to your cheek.
“M’so spoiled,” you giggle happily. “Thanks, Garreth.”
“Thanks, mate,” Sebastian murmurs. “Listen, we should absolutely do this again sometime, but for now it’s getting pretty late–”
“I get it,” Garreth laughs. “‘This was fun, but get the fuck out.’”
“She needs some rest now,” Sebastian says plainly.
“Not a problem,” he replies cheerfully. “Figured you’d like a bit of space after. Besides, I was barely at the party for an hour before you two seduced me away.”
Sebastian rolls his eyes while you roll over and whine, “You’re going back to the party?”
Garreth steals one last kiss from you before he bumps his nose against yours and says, “I’m afraid so, love, but you’ve got a perfectly good Slytherin here to keep you company.”
To prove Garreth’s point, Sebastian snakes one arm around your waist and tugs you against his chest. You settle in happily as he kisses your hairline, both of you silently watching Garreth redress.
“Cheers, you two,” Garreth finally says with a mock salute and a grin. “Until next time.”
He slips the chair away from the door and waves away his anti-unlocking charm before ducking back out into the hallway. Sebastian strokes your side while you listen to the muffled noise of the party drifting up from below.
“So…” he eventually asks, right when you’re about to drift off. “Will there be a next time, d’you think?”
“Maybe,” you sigh tiredly. “Hope so.”
“Me too,” Sebastian admits, voice barely above a whisper. “...Maybe we can try a few new things – all three of us.”
And as much as that admission deeply intrigues you, the combination of the cinnamon whiskey, the mellow high of the Mallowsweet, and the bone-deep exhaustion of being taken twice in one night pull you straight to sleep before you can ask him just how adventurous he’s willing to be.
