Labour has said they're going to implement the findings of the cass review even though the methodology was dogshit and the entire thing is filled with blatant transphobia, so I just want to say you cannot call yourself an ally if you vote for them next election. At this point Labour is not "the lesser of two evils" they're fully just conservatives

The SNP's motion calling for a ceasefire in Gaza has been defeated in the Commons. 125 Ayes, 293 Noes.
As there are only 43 SNP MPs, it seems likely Keir Starmer has seen a rebellion among Labour MPs who voted with the SNP on an amendment to the King’s Speech which called for an immediate ceasefire - in defiance of Starmer and a 'three-line whip' to abstain.
Shame on the Labour MPs who didn't rebel.
Shame on Keir Starmer, the worse-than-useless place-holding cunt.
Shame on the Tories, but they're shameless.
But good on the SNP, the Labour rebels, Caroline Lucas of the Greens and anyone who voted with them.
What now for those of us who stand with Palestine in the UK?

Rishi Sunak does not speak for me about Palestine
This may seem a bit of an off-colour post, but I feel like I need to air my grievances regarding the current situation involving Israel's unending attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Recently, the Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, stated that he is in support of Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he referred to as a friend -- choosing to use the words "We want you to win." I, as someone who lives in the UK, and as a supporter of Palestinians in these times, find this statement incredibly fucking disgusting.
Firstly, how dare Sunak speak collectively for a country that he was not publicly elected to lead, but also indicate that there would be positive consequences of Israel's “victory” over the near defenceless Palestinian population.
On top of this, media outlets are now beginning to censor pro-Palestinian sentiments, instead sticking to their guns and labelling any retaliative action taken by the people of Gaza as the actions of Hamas.
This doesn't even go into how dehumanising Israel has been towards Palestinians who, by the order of the Israeli government, have been blockaded within a tiny 25 x 5 mile strip of land, and cannot safely travel to any other part of the fucking country. I find it fucking reprehensible that the Prime Minister of the UK would think that the entire population of the country would stand with him on this.
This explicit endorsement of a government regime who still regards a man who willingly enacts genocide on civilians as a friend makes me further more ashamed to even be a citizen of this country.
And would you like to know the worst part? There is no major political party who opposes this. Labour Leader Keir Starmer has gone on record, stating that Israel "Has the right to self defence." Only now, in response to several Labour MPs resigning from the party under his leadership, does he backtrack on those claims, stating that humanitarian aid should still be given, yet doubling down on his previous point.
I flat-out fucking refuse to stay silent on this topic. If you are a UK citizen reading this, I encourage you, with all my heart, to write to your local MP for a ceasefire in Gaza. Demand it. Show the leader of your area that Rishi Sunak does not speak for us as, not just a country, but as individual people.
I will link below some charities that I encourage you to donate to. Please, do not be complicit with this ethnic cleansing. I fear that this will set a precedent for things to come if people become complacent. This has to end soon.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak jabs at Labour for “not being able to define a woman” as the mother of Brianna Ghey, a murdered trans teenager, sits in the room with them in the gallery. His party then cries “OOOH!” like children in the classroom.
Not that Kid Starver is much better seeing as his party wants to segregate trans people in hospitals, but at least someone called out this cunt for everyone to hear.

Screenshot of Humza Yousaf's X post taken from this article - Starmer faces new rebellion from Labour MPs over SNP ceasefire motion | The Herald (heraldscotland.com)
The latest news is that Starmer's whipping Labour MPs to abstain, which is effectively the same as voting against the SNP's motion anyway.
And I ask once again: what, exactly, is the point of the Labour Party under Keir Starmer's leadership?

Tbh I think I've had quite a lot of patience with Keir Starmer, because I understand why he's doing what he's doing. I understand it. But he's fucking wrong and I'm angry about it. I feel like he's learnt the wrong lessons of past elections. He's focusing too much on why 2019 was such a failure and not enough on why 2017 wasn't and 2015 also was. The grand goal shouldn't be getting elected (of course it's fucking important) but to create a better world for people and convicing people to get on your side of the argument. You should be trying to set out a vision of the country you want to create, that people can get exited behind and want to live in. Not just saying: "we will be like the tories just not shit". He seams to believe the country is made up of tory mps??? Like you think a normal fucking person will think over keeping the two child benefit cap: "oh that shows he's economically careful and responsable, I'll vote for him", that's not how any of this fucking works. You can still win elections while giving a genuine fucking offer of a new way of fundamentally running the country. You can be bold Keir, people fucking want it.

U.K. "Labour would not recognise Palestine, Starmer says".
Well, I don't recognize the "Labour" party as leftist and I still don't know why they got an apparent Tory to rule the "Labour" party.
I still, even considering my non-recognition, wouldn't support genocide against the faux "Labour" party, so that's another difference between me and Starmer.

So as far as I can tell, Keir Starmer's Labour has finally found its spine/soul/nads/whatever, only to turn it into a massive clusterfuck that annoys everyone and turns serious calls for peace into a bad-tempered farce.
Am I piecing this together from the wreckage correctly?
- SNP put forward a motion calling for a ceasefire in Gaza
- Keir Starmer, terrified of another rebellion, desperate to look bold and proactive, puts forward an amendment... calling for a ceasefire in Gaza
- The Speaker...picks it? And a Tory one? Because if everyone's miserable then that's fair? And the SNP never get to do anything?
- SNP understandably ask what the actual fuck and walk out
- Tories less understandably ask what the actual fuck and walk out
- Amended motion calling for a ceasefire now passes pretty much by accident but it's okay because nobody takes it seriously and they're all fighting over who gets to teabag Lindsay Hoyle.

remember, come election time, that keir starmer gave the tories the go ahead on unrestrained bombing in yemen. remember that the leader of the so called left wing opposition, like tony ‘war criminal’ blair before him, cares nothing for the lives of innocent civilians, as long as the uk’s commercial interests are protected. he does not care about the global working class, and he never did
