My free brush is back! (CSP)

I was struggling to find the "perfect" rendering/paint brush, but I couldn't find it. So I decided to make it instead.

-It can be used for sketching, lining, coloring, shading, etc

-It's mostly opaque but not super harsh

-It blends very slightly, but it doesn't smear.

-Slight color jitter helps making the painting look more alive.

okay so imagine i saw this scene again and thought haha yeah exorcist redraw. but thats a beautiful dress how can i make that work on matoba. and then fully drew out three alternate outfit sets bc i was unable to settle on timeline lore for this until the last second.

i only didnt make this the settled version bc i couldnt think of how to get openly kuromisa matoba at an exorcist meeting it just seemed excessively indulgent lol. but pretty

and i didnt go with this one bc i didnt want to draw suits a third and fourth time lol. but more elevated formal exorcist gathering/maybe a celebrity shindig matoba's also connected to and they ran into each other? but plus they wouldnt care about these two flirting

just didnt want natori to be dressed boring next to this but couldnt think of what to put him in or what the occasion would be lol

Legally Skilled Paint Brush (Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2)

Brushes I used to make the drawing:

-Legally Skilled

-CherryPaint (another brush I uploaded)

-Regular Blur Brush

My process goes:

-Use Legally Skilled on one layer like a traditional painting

-If I want it to "dry" and not blend anymore, I make a new layer.

-Merge down when I'm sure it looks good.

-If things look too harsh, use any blur brush to smoothen it

-Bring back sharp details little by little with the CherryPaint on a new layer

If I had to compare: My CherryBrush is more like acrylic/goache and Legally Skilled is like oil paint. (Don't worry. This is oil paint for people who don't know how to use oil paint. Very beginner friendly!)

HI THERE!!! :D

im pretty new to csp so i'm experimenting with different brushes a lot, but these are the main ones i use! (some of them are actually just my attempts at recreating paint tool sai brushes haha)

this is my sketch brush! its just a simple brush i made with the spraying effect lol; i mostly use this for rough sketching/thumbnailing (but i usually end up using it for the lineart anyways because im lazy ;v;;)

this is my doodle brush!! its a modified pencil brush that basically just reverses the brush size pressure settings, i also made the brush size and opacity pretty constant, most of the opacity change you see is thanks to texture density!

the goal with this brush is to help me practice line confidence and unlearn my tendency to ctrl+z too much haha;;

OK TIME FOR MY COLORING BRUSHES <3

i use this for general coloring and filling in flats, it has a soft, nice texture on low pen pressure and is very fun and versatile!!

i got it from here!

this is the one i used for the magolor and elfilis art! it's this brush with the color jitter settings turned on! i don't use this one a lot but its VERY FUN to mess around with

OKOK this one's my baby from paint tool sai <3; ive been using it since 2018 and i spent SO LONG trying to re-make it in CSP ;O;;

i usually use it towards the end of my coloring process to add some texture!!
