all I do is think about how my main mattias has this headcanon that. mattias' baby sister was an inferni who tried so hard to hide what she was and had parents who actively fought the system in fjerda on behalf of grisha and then the druskelle come to execute them as political dissidents which makes the baby sister lose control of her powers & mattias actively represses so much of that day bc Trauma and is led to believe that his village and home burned bc of grisha, which, technically true but Not The Way He Thinks.
