The hardest part of moving to a new place is finding your favorite go to restaurant. After months (four months to be exact) of trial and error we found our go to.

We took the metro one stop toward Wiehle-Reston and got off at the Tyson’s Corner stop, then walked a block to Founding Farmers! 

Let me tell you no matter what time or day you go that place is packed. You can reserve a table over the phone, but we always wing it and find a seat in the bar area. The service is amazing and the food is out of this world. My favorite thing to order is the steak (medium) and enchiladas. It comes with a steak, street corn (makes the dish over the top), and two enchiladas.

The final dine out from my recent American Adventure - just in time before I head back tomorrow! A fantastic meal from @foundingfarmers in DC. Loved this restaurant for a number of reasons, but the concept was brilliant - owned by the more than 40,000 family farmers of the NDFU, it serves innovative American inspired real food and drink with an emphasis and focus on cooking from scratch. Produce is supplied by hundreds of families, honoring the farmers and their hard-earned bounty.
