If you’re struggling through some hard things right now,
I just want to share something with you!
Sometimes, I truly believe God allows us to go through things that feel unbearable all to bring good from them in a way that He could not have without our season of wilderness.
He doesn’t cause bad things to happen, but He can absolutely use them to bring good from.
He has plans for us that we could never even imagine.
He will place people in our path specifically for us to help.
He may use us to bring big changes about.
Going through the hardest things gives us so much more compassion and understanding towards others, and makes us a whole lot less likely to judge others.
If you’ve been following me from the beginning,
You know that this page started off as a page that just promotes positivity, kindness, self care, etc.
But as I began going through some of the most painful things I’ve ever faced, I needed more than positive thinking and good vibes.
I needed Jesus!
I would not have made it through the past year without Him.
And the more I shared my faith, the more I saw how many other people were hurting too.
I saw how so many people needed someone to care, someone to pray for them, someone to encourage them, someone to point them to God!
And that’s how my positive page, with the pretty pictures, and cute quotes, turned into a ministry.
If I wasn’t dealing with so much pain, I would never have come to a place of having to learn how to totally and completely rely on my savior.
Because I’m here to tell you, ”trusting” God is one thing, but trusting God and relying on Him completely because you have no hope, no clue how you will make it another day, how you will survive the hardship and injustice you are facing emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially and mentally….. that’s a whole new level of trust!
I know that I was meant to do what I am now doing.
To put a light into the world.
To write from my heart from a place of hopelessness to a new found hope,
to bring encouragement where there might be none, to show love to people who might not have anyone else to care, to pray for the hurting, the lost, and the broken…
It was all born from my pain, and brokenness.
It’s what gives me so much compassion and heart for others.
It’s what makes me really appreciate others who are prayer warriors and encouragers.
It’s what gives me a desire to help show people the love of God, instead of judging them.
I know the desert time is not fun.
It feels unbearable.
It hurts!
But it’s also growing you in ways you don’t even know yet if you’re willing to let God use you.
And I can tell you from my own experience, the best way to heal from your own pain and trauma is to help others get through theirs!
I don’t mean drama…
I have had more than enough of that in life.
I mean truly help them get through it.
And the only real way to do that, is to help them see Jesus.
Help encourage them to trust Him.
He sees us all.
He knows our pain and our problems.
He loves us.
And He has plans for us.
Big plans.
We just have to be willing.

Pain in my body!
Pain in my heart!
Pain in my mind!
Pain from life trails & tribulations.
Pain afflicted by others!
Pain I have brought upon self!
It is the PAIN that causes me to run to my Father. “For my affliction was good for me” Psalm 119:71
