Pride is one of those sins that can sneak up on you when you least realize it! No matter how much time you’ve been a Christian, no matter how much Bible you know, or what you’ve done for God, etc. YOU ARE STILL SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE SIN OF PRIDE. And to think you’re not IS a form of PRIDE. No one wants to be that Christian that admits they have fallen to the sin of pride… but it happens. When you recognize that in yourself, repent from it and move on. Clothe yourself with humility (Colossians 3:12-14) and feed your soul with the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). At some point or another we all struggle with pride. How much or how little of pride you experience doesn’t matter… because at the end of the day any amount of pride you experience and act on is BAD FOR YOU. Pride is selfish, it exalts itself, it doesn’t care about your neighbor, it doesn’t exhibit love! It is self serving. You were made for more than that. You were made to love, not to be prideful. Pride separates you from God and from what those around you. Strive to be humble, not prideful.
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but wish humility comes wisdom” Proverbs 11:2
“God opposes the proud and shows favor to the humble” James 4:6
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:12-14‬ ‭

James 2:19 You believe in the one God -that is creditable enough, but even the demons tremble in fear. Fool! Would you not like to know that faith without deeds is useless?
You can’t claim to believe in God and that’s just it,James further to prove his point by using the faith Abraham had along with the act of being willingly to sacrifice his son Isaac to God to prove his faith. You can’t say oh I believe in God, I trust that God will do this for me but when it comes for you to carry out instructions from God you don’t do anything.

If the supreme God Kabir saheb does not appear in the form of Jesus Christ, then people became atheists, so that God appeared as Jesus Christ to keep faith in God.

are you building your house on the rock or on the sand? friend, really think about this question! Matthew 7:24-27 says:
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
think about your relationship with God. what state is it in? is it in a state of falling apart? or is it in a state of growth?
think about the romantic relationship you're in right now. while you are building your house on the rock, is your partner building their house on the sand? what will happen when the storms of life come your way? will your house stand while your partner's house falls?
the devil wants to see you fall. he wants to see your house sink. he delights when you are on shaky ground. he rejoices when you are not sure if you believe in God anymore.
but you have been given a choice. Jesus gives you a choice: to either build your house on the rock or build your house on the sand.
and good news! you can find security in building your house on the rock! why? because Jesus is THE cornerstone! Isaiah 28:16 says:
So the Lord and King speaks. He says, “Look! I am laying a stone in Zion. It is a stone that has been tested. It is the most important stone for a firm foundation. The one who depends on that stone will never be shaken."
wow! did you catch that? Jesus is THE most important stone for a firm foundation! with him, you will NOT be shaken! amen! what a beautiful promise from God.
you have nothing to fear, my friend. start building your house on the solid rock of Jesus! he will never fail you or let you down. you will always find security in him. he loves you forever. he is the perfect cornerstone.

Sometimes your spiritual life is going to be a struggle. You will have your hill and valley moments. Sometimes you will be at your peak and other times you will be at your lowest, but what matters is that you get back up and that you keep trying! Keep fighting! It’s going to be hard to be motivated sometimes but that should not stop you from trying. Keep trying even if it’s hard for you. Keep moving forward, continue to grow in your faith even if it’s hard. Instead of being down on yourself for not being at your best, see it as an opportunity for you to grow and to be better. Sometimes doing the bare minimum is all you can do, sometimes you can do the most and go the extra mile. No matter where you find yourself keep this in mind: God won’t love you anymore or any less if you do the bare minimum or if you do the most. What matters to God is your intention and heart behind what you do. KEEP TRYING! DON’T GIVE UP! True hope comes by trusting God even when circumstances are difficult. Stay hopeful! Don’t lose hope. God will fill you with peace and joy!You still have a future, your hope will not be cut off! Stay faithful even when it’s hard.

THOUGHTS ON 25TH MARCH 2023
This evening as i prayed i imagined what i would be like to fully trust in God’s ability to give us literally anything we asked for. Believing that there is actually no limitations to God’s power. There is actually no limitations but i feel sometimes i don’t believe that based on human thinking (logic lol). Reflecting on todays Gospel from Luke 1:26-38 which narrates the annunciation of the birth of our lord Jesus Christ.
Tumblr media
Mary was a victim of human logic because she agreed for God’s will to be done in her life but wondered how that would come to pass since she didn’t know any man intimately. She could only think of conceiving through the only way she knew. The angel went on to let her in on how she was to conceive which wasn’t the conventional way she knew, even went ahead to assure her of God’s way that Elizabeth which according to human knowledge couldn’t conceive but was pregnant. So sometimes we may want our prayers answered ina certain way or even doubt God’s ability but I’m here to say “nothing is impossible for God” as in the Bible. God bless
