I LOVE the idea of these Asian inspired lettuce wraps for a quick healthy dinner! These wraps are a perfect, super versatile dish for any ladies looking to include less carbohydrates in their diet and are GREAT for sharing. Simply select your choice of protein, prepare your lettuce and seasoning and you're pretty much ready to go! ⠀ The GREAT thing about seafood such as fish, prawns, salmon, tuna and crab is that they contain a WIDE variety of nutrients, so they are ALREADY an awesome pick when it comes to adding a protein source to your meals. Prawns in particular are HIGH in lean protein, low in carbohydrates and are also a great source of vitamin B12 and iron💪🏻. Try serving seafood like prawns grilled or marinated in a salad like this rather than deep fried or battered. I LOVE #seafood!!!! Not only is seafood a great nutrient rich source of protein, it's also so quick and easy to cook!! There are SO MANY different ways but my favourite is lightly crumbing it! We have a fish here called “flat head”, it’s so good for kids (or adults) who are fussy because it doesn’t have that real “fishy” taste. Calamari or squid is another great one to crumb! ZOODLES! As you know I am a firm believer that PASTA is not necessarily always a bad thing ... in fact, I am eating pasta as we speak!! 🍝😁. For the ladies who like to mix things up from time to time OR for the ladies who want to know how to add more veggies into their diet, try ZOODLES... Zoodles are noodles made from zucchini, and make sure you try them BEFORE you say anything because you’ll actually be pleasantly surprised how great they taste! I was the first one to laugh and say “no thanks 🤢” but after trying them, I LOVED IT.
