I kinda HC G/ermany as sensitive, rigid and troubled and G/ermania as a bit traditional, abrasive and macho but a very functional adult, a man who can take care of himself and others and doesn't radiate the insecurity and anger that G/ermany can so I think he would just be Very Concerned and look at P/russia, A/ustria and others and be like how did you ruin a perfectly good monkey

but on an aside i think G/ermania would be obsessed at how much they look alike and for his pride and vanity, want to take a lot of selfies with g/ermany and be like look how handsome the boy is, he takes after me and go to as many people as possible for confirmation of the fact that both of them are handsome, strong men

#I think posting someone else's art they did for me #To the same audience with all the same tags and thematic matter #And having their art get way more interaction than mine is the final straw to make me give up on art #I don't get any joy out of it #I don't find catharsis out of it anymore #I used to do art because it was like spewing my innermost workings on a page and saying to the world 'this is how I feel'#There was something very vulnerable with sharing that with people but #I wanted to make people understand what's in my head #A cry for help if you will #Or more like a cry for understanding #And it feels so hollow when people who get plenty of interaction say 'oh if you're upset by no interaction #Then you're doing it for the wrong reasons etc etc'#And for one it's easy to say when your stuff DOES get plenty of interaction #But for two as a teenager I was viral on deviantart. Thousands of followers and multiple daily deviations #Before I even turned 18 #I literally grew up and am conditioned to thrive on external validation and I just don't get that anymore #Ever since I deleted my deviantart in 2014 because my abuser was literally using it to stalk me I haven't been able to hold an audience #I threw it all away and now I can't get it back. Not here not twit not insta not anywhere #So I'm giving up. That's it that's all. Not like anybody gives a shit anyways #It kind of feels like ripping out a piece of your soul #Putting it on display and then having no one care #I'm tired of destroying myself just to be ignored over and over again #I really did peak when I was 17 didn't I

I unfollowed someone for reblogging an anti ai post, but their personal comment against it relied heavily around "work" and something about it really rubs me the wrong way, but I cant quite word why...

#personal #idk maybe the thought that the main reason ai is bad bc of work? ART...#i think the picture ppl have of ppl who use ai are generally supported by capitalism. why base ur need to defend art on work #like i get what theyre saying but its s capitalism issue. not ai itself #and idk something else. someone smarter than me knows #they also made a diff post saying anything made by humans has creativity and soul #and both of those two posts together really gave off vibes theyre one of those art insta/twit accs w 100k+ followers and making bank #(or at least parroting them)#i just think its so reactionary... these digital artists are saying exactly what traditional artists said abt digital art #and wild fearmongering in general while knowing nothing about it

Seems like no matter how tightly I curate the people I follow on twit, my feed will still be 90% contextless drama. In an indecipherable order. Exhausting.

Meanwhile insta's push to become a video platform has sucked the remaining fun out of it for me. Used to be the place I could quickly catch up with my friends' photos and stuff. Now I just feel like an alien whenever I decide to check up on it. Or, like, demoralized by how much more productive everyone else seems to be than I am.

Tumblr continues to be the only socialish media I can actually stomach.
