This is my Trail Carbine from Fallout New Vegas I’ve been making for cosplays (will also use it for my John Marston cosplay) it’s made from foam and some pvc pipe with the firing mechanism out of a toy gun for the trigger and hammer. Quick Keystone Comic Con wrap up: I was only there for about five hours on Saturday, but I enjoyed this first year event. While there wasn’t a ton of cosplay, the costumes I saw were great. Venue was nice. There was some talk about the turnout being lower than expected, but from a photographer’s perspective this wasn’t such a bad thing as it made it easy to snag the better shooting locations. I didn’t get to shoot with as many people as I had hoped to, but I was very happy with the handful of folks I did pics with. Submitted by Michael A. De Martino, this faux stone wall facade was carved out of EPS foam with #HotWireFoamFactory tools. Here's what the artist had to say about this project: "This wall was in two pieces at a flower show. It was grey and all beat up and had termites in the frame. I cleaned it all up, took off all the joint compound and added EPS foam. I called Hot Wire Foam Factory and they were great about instructing me on how to carve my wall. I purchased the Industrial Hot Knife which was wonderful for cutting the grooves in the stone. I also purchased the Freehand Router which was also useful to form the stone. I used a heat gun back and forth to get the desired effect. I also bought their special glues for EPS foam. The door is also carved EPS foam. In front of the door, I will add a large flat stone to complete the look. I am always adding special props and plants because I am a professional photographer and want to be different from the rest. This was a fun project and I can’t say enough thanks to Hot Wire Foam Factory for making my dream wall come true."
