Spooky Stories from the Daycare: Night of the Fox!: (tag)

Halloween tale full of scares and fluff! Creepy crawlies and candy! Our story is set in Japan in the 80’s! Sun and Moon had decided to have a little adventure out to a cabin for Halloween but they get lost in the woods. Y/N, a kitsune who resides in this forest, is displeased at having trespassers wonder into there territory and will do everything in their power to scare away the two animatronics.

Hellfire to Warm the Heart:

There I was, standing in the rain, my ears still ringing from the door slamming behind me. Everything had gone downhill so fast. First, my job fired me without warning or reason then, unable to find a new job, I was evicted from my apartment due to being unable to pay rent. With my suitcase at my feet, I stared blankety down the street. What was I going to do? I had nowhere to go. My family had cut ties with me years ago, and I didn't have a friend to speak of. Was there a shelter I should go to, or would I be sleeping on the street tonight? "Oh, dear! Are you okay?" I flinched, not expecting anyone to speak to me. Looking around, I saw an expensive black car parked at the curb, and a back window rolled down. As I watched, the back door opened, and a man, preceded by a large black umbrella, exited the car. As he straightened, I took a step back, gazing up at a towering individual standing before me. Dressed in a pale blue suit, this guy had to be almost 7 feet tall, towering over me. His hair was shimmery gold, making him look like a sun. Golden eyes glittered as, with a soft smile, the man asked, "You look to be in a bit of a bind. Would you like some help?"

Stars in the Darkness:

You find yourself living in a cabin in the middle of the woods. After cleaning up the mess from the previous occupant, you find a broken statue that seems to have been living in the forest, covered in moss and lichen. Deciding that it would be wise to put the statue back where it belongs, you fix it up and lug it out through the trees to place it back in its home. This pleases something living in the darkness of the trees, and little gifts start appearing on the porch of the cabin. The creatures in the dark seem to like you. You should be careful not to do anything that would anger them now that you have their attention.

Little Assistant:

MC is the assistant to the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment. As Vanessa kidnaps and kills children while attempting to bring Springtrap back to life, MC is forced to clean up the mess and cover up the disappearances. MC is also tasked with keeping an eye on the Daycare attendants, keeping them in line as they are forced to help kidnapping children. “Did you do it? How do we know if it worked?” “We’ll have to test out some command code on him. Everything uploaded without issue, but they do have minds of their own. He may put up a fight.” I wasn’t paying attention to the conversation, wanting as little to do with this as I could get away with. They had already forced me to help with so much, cleaning up all that mess, all that red, covering up the disappearance. Shuddering, I looked through the glass into the daycare beyond. Deep in the dark, I could see two red eyes glaring out at us, furious. I couldn’t blame him. The virus they had activated in the night mode daycare attendant was going to be used for something horrific.

Two Hunters and a Bloodsucker: (tag)

My life is good for what it is. Except that I’m dead. Well, undead. I’ve been undead for about 15 years now, and I haven’t aged a day. Being a vampire hiding among humans can be difficult at times, mainly dealing with sunlight and avoiding mirrors, but I manage. I’ve been living and working in this little town as the town blacksmith for about 7 years now, and I’ve become a full-fledged member of the little community here. I thought I had been doing a good job hiding my presence among the humans, but one day two of the most well-known vampire hunters came into town. If they find out what I am, they will kill me, but both of them have become intent on becoming my friends and maybe more. How can I keep myself from being discovered when two hunters are trying to romance me?

Stars and Webs (LateNight DayDreams):

Running form those hunting you, you fall into the web of a beast that should be more terrifying than the humans who want to end your life. But the creatures that finds you seems to want to keep you alive rather than eating you for dinner.

Murder's Doll (LateNight DayDreams):

a small child forced to live on the streets is abducted by Eclipse and raised to be sold off as a pawn. the first year of MC's life they live with Eclipse's charges, Sun and Moon and are tutored mercilessly until they are finally sent off to boarding school. after finishing school, MC is married off to an abusive husband but is eventually saved by Sun and Moon.

Colorful Lights (LateNight DayDreams):

You used to be an acrobat, working at a carnival that was a home to you. After a fire and a nasty fall, your home was left to rot. Coming back years later you’re captured by the people who’ve taken over the place. Saved by some old friends, you learn some unsettling truths about them.

Our Feathered Friend (LateNight DayDreams):

Children kept held captive for experimentation Y/N being turned into a harpy Being reunited with lost loves

Living (LateNight DayDreams):

MC is a living doll created by the Mad Scientist Eclipse.

She has been running polls on an upcoming spooky tales she's going to write based on the outcome of the polls. Still waiting for the results of the time period, but I came across a fashion ad from the 1960s (in Japan) that I thought I try to replicate anyway. Because it fits the celestial bots too perfectly. (I used the original background from the ad) Tried to keep to similar style as the ad.

I do have to say, (how dare you)/j make me look up a very aesthetically pleasing game. Nights into Dreams is such a cool looking game. I love the designs you came up with for Sun, Moon, and Eclipse. The huge ruffles really make Sun fun to draw, not to mention moons hat!!! ahg I could make a essay about how great your designs are. I drew the pose like that cuz when you described Sun and Moon you mentioned they are both cuddly. I tried drawing your OC, I hope it turned out well. I didn't know colors so I winged it for Moon and your OC.

screenshot edits & concept art based on an au based on a dream i had(both under the cut)

au: Been playing around with an idea did an au w my fnaf si: Zhe & the ghost kids suddenly wake up in the ducktales 2017 universe, as anthropomorphic versions of the animatronic suits they inhabit, at the same age they were & wearing the clothes they were when they died!! Obv this causes a lot of confusion--the sensations they feel as organics are way more intense than the limited sensations they had as animatronics, the last thing they remember is being animatronics, etc.

dream:

bro i had a dream i was my fnaf si, but like the version where she gets reincarnated as a ducktales 2017 character and i was raising my 6+ kids (also reincarnated from the missing/ghost children) we lived in a biiiig apartment complex, which was more long/wide than tall

a lot of the rooms were repurposed from other things--classrooms, dressing rooms, storage, cafeteria, stage, etc

me & my kids lived in a former dressing room with 7-8 compartments w curtains over the fronts for privacy looked like this when standing in the doorway looking in

foxy, freddy, chica, bonnie, & golden freddy/fredbear's spirits roomed together in the raised dressing area (tiny rehearsal stage?) in the back. it had gold, purple, brown, & red curtains. it was two big curtains & one small curtain sewn together near the tops of the curtains the fnaf 1 spirits slept in the raised area in a pile together. the stage was carpeted & filled with soft things--blankets, spare jackets, clothes, bean bags, mattresses, etc (there was no closets or drawers in the room). in the side walls compartments, other fnaf ghost kids slept/roomed, including puppet/charlie, fnaf 2 toy ghosts, and also the original gosalyn from darkwing duck for some reason

della was my next-door neighbor & she gave me tips for saving money & dividing attention fairly between multiple kids. we became good friends who confided in & carpooled with each other!

Spooky Stories from the Daycare!!!

Part 1: Beneath The Full Moon

part 2

“Are you sure we’re going the right way?” Sun asked for what seemed like the hundredth time. He was clinging so tight to Moon’s arm that Moon had to concentrate not to trip over Sun’s feet. Moon didn’t want to tell Sun to let go, though. He was finding comfort in his sunny companion’s hold, and it was helping him pretend not to be nervous as they walked through the moonlit trees.

“This is the way she told us to go. Follow the lanterns, and we’re following the lanterns… It can’t be much further.”

Deeper and deeper into the forest, they walked, following the light from the lanterns along a winding dirt path. As they passed through the trees, clouds slid over the moon, blocking its light and casting the duo into an inky blackness only broken by the lanterns on their patch, but even those barely cut through the dark.

Sun’s hold on Moon’s arm turned into a vice grip, and Moon stumbled slightly.

“M-Moon!” Sun whispered, voice trembling almost as much as he was. This was supposed to be a fun little adventure out to a forest cabin for a little Halloween retreat, but now it seemed like they had become very lost.

“W-We should have reached the cabin ages ago! We’ve b-been walking in circles, and n-now it’s pitch black!” Sun was starting to panic. He didn’t like the dark, and there were stories of creatures living in these words. Stories of people getting lost and never coming back.

“The cabin is probably feet away. Has to be.” Moon said, primarily to comfort Sun but also to reassure himself.

And then the lanterns vanished, leaving the two animatronics in the pitch black.

Both animatronic’s eyes glowed in the dark, but the light only illuminated a few inches, not creating enough light to see the closest trees.

It was Moon’s turn to grab Sun, letting his unease get the better of him, clinging tight to his trembling companion. What had happened to the lanterns? Why would they all go out like that? All at once?

They had been following lanterns… right?

You looked down at the two trespassers from your perch in the tall oak tree, tail flicking behind you. They would regret wandering into your forest. You’d scare them, just like all the others, and send them running… but maybe you should play with them first? Subject them to some nasty tricks before sending them running.

You giggled to yourself, the sound floating through the trees and sending chills down the spines of the men below.

You could use your fox fire to lead them into the pond. They’d fall in and get all wet and slimy.

Or you could approach them through the trees in the dark, pretending to be a ghost, scaring them silly.

Maybe you could make spooky noises, screams, and howls to chill them to the bone before jumping out of them to send them running.

There were also trying vines across their path to trip them or shoving frogs down the backs of their shirts.

So many choices.

As you watched the two men standing below you, pondering what you would use to terrorize your victims, you found yourself wondering why they were wearing such silly costumes. Humans were so strange.

The shaking one appeared to be wearing some sort of halo of points around his head, making him look like the sun, and his companion was wearing a cap covered in stars. Both were wearing regular human clothes, but their heads were round like they were wearing masks.

It didn’t matter. They’d run off like everyone else and leave you in peace.

Sorry this took me so long! I wanted to get this out sooner but life happened 😅. I’m just glad it’s out now. In theory the next parts will be longer but we’ll leave this short to get things rolling.

Woohoo! Got this done and I'm just loving it.

The poll's for @robinette-green for the decade is complete and the winner was 70s/80s. So might as well draw up a possible outfit the bots could be wearing during that time period. And to me, when it comes to the fashion around this time, it's windbreakers, denim and chunky skates. It's mainly 80s, but did add a touch of 70s with Moon's skates. Also found a fun drawing base that was great to reference to.
