Ngl I’m kinda confused why the plot of KFP4 is “Po needs to find and train the next dragon warrior” when they’re literally right there

ik that taako’s voice in the first episode was because justin was still figuring out his character but i like to imagine that before joining bob taako put on fake accents to avoid being recognised, since he was wanted for the whole poisoning incident, but also for the bit
and then kravitz changes accents mid-fight in crystal kingdom and then drops them during their date at the chug ‘n’ squeeze and taako’s like oh 😳 same hat 😳

What do you think would happen if manhwa javier meets novel lloyd? (or manhwa lloyd meets novel javier)
would you believe me if i told you there's an au exactly about this from like. back in march aksjdklsfsd
mostly i just think they'd be very unsettled about the differences between them! manhwa javier would find novel lloyd way too calm and playful compared to what he's used to and manhwa lloyd would find novel javier weirdly obtuse.
i do think manhwa javier would find novel lloyd a lot more tolerable than novel javier would find manhwa lloyd. like. m!javier would slowly get attached to this version of lloyd who teases and jokes around with him and while he still would want his version of lloyd back a small part of him would definitely be like 'can i keep him tho?'. n!lloyd would be a little unnerved over how cold and dry this weirdly minty javier is with him tho, he's not sure he would put his life on this guy's hands tbh asdksdl
meanwhile n!javier is ready to kick m!lloyd's ass back to his own dimension, please give him his own lloyd back right now this one makes weird faces and is mean all the time he doesn't like it >:c

Breaking my hiatus to scream and yell a little because hoLY FUCK IS THAT ZARC ON THE MAIN SET COVER???!!
This feels surreal, but it's very much real.
It's happening.
They did it.
My prayers have been answered.
Oh my God I think I need to sit down for a moment.

Every single character I have ever obsessed over falls into one of four categories:
Kid with no one in his corner who's used to looking after himself realises that (often despite his best efforts) people actually care about him and he has a support system.
Older brother type vibes who is the comic relief and painted as dumb or clueless but actually has deep insecurities and is so so smart in other ways and has a fiercely protective streak.
Young (though not always) woman who has been through a rough time and has Trauma but is still strong and refuses to let her past define her and makes an effort to be kind. (this character tends to become part of my soul)
Loser man become dad.
Also bonus points to trope voted Most Relatable but is never my favourite character:
5. Kid who has had a reasonably trauma-less life compared to friends and feels a bit like a sidekick and maybe doesn't consider their problems worthy when their friends have been through so much more

So not only does the trauma of Aaravos’ possession compound Callum’s trauma of 1) Viren robbing him of his voice in 1x02, 2) somewhat literally drowning and out of breath in 2x08-2x09, and 3) being almost choked to death by Kasef at the Storm Spire, which would be enough on its own... It also gets at Callum’s core fear of a lack of control. Whereas Rayla’s core fear is being worthless, Callum’s core fear is being helpless/feeling useless.
This is part of why he’s so drawn to magic precisely as something that gives him agency. Time and time again he’s wanted to help people (Harrow, Rayla, Ezran) he cares about but has been uncertain as to how to do so. Callum likes to have a plan (1x07, 2x04, 3x01) and is the group’s default planner, the idea guy. The risk minimizer when Rayla and Ez are being more flippant or foolhardy. That’s not to say Callum is never reckless, but he also knows his reckless streak has unintentionally hurt people in the past like with Rayla at the Banther Lodge and Zym in the storm in 2x04.
He’s already been forced to something awful in verbally hurting his friends. He was forced into his personal worst nightmare. He wants a safety net, a back up plan. He saw Rayla choose what he perceived as duty over him when she left in TTM and she hasn’t refused him anything since she came back. But, shown seconds later when he can’t quite release the cube, he wants something else to let go for him, because he can’t. Not of anything.

I'm probably in the minority with this but I wish the first 3 arcs of Sailor Moon Crystal were a two-part movie series (like they did with Eternal and Cosmos.).
This will probably make the Crystal fans seethe at the mouth bc God forbid anyone has an opinion different from them. But we probably would've avoided a lot of the embarrassing poor animation choices had they turned the material into two-part movies for each arc. They'd have more time to focus on the good bits that moved the story along. They'd have more time to also focus on the animation quality of the movies.
Maybe, as a result, they could've spent more time honing their character designs versus getting better after three FULL seasons of SMC.
Sorry not sorry, the designs in Eternal and Cosmos are way better than the poor attempts to copy Naoko's style that plagued the first 3 seasons of SMC.
