I’m basically like Icarus rn (turning in SBI Mcyt fanfiction to a creative writing class for a manuscript (even though I know it will be read by a classmate (that lacks a filter) who writes dsmp fics and might recognize the (names changed bc they’re in witness protection (and one (1) gender change bc god dangit there’s barely any women in this fandom)) characters being used (she might blurt out that it’s fanfic (I know my professor writes fanfics (MCU) but she said this has to be an original piece of work) to the whole class (death mortification abhorrent)) that’s worth 1/4th of my grade) so wish me luck ig.

I might be splitting chapter 21 in half since I am at 13k and there is still so much to cover. I kind of wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger, but you might just be getting a lot of set up for new, exciting things to come in regards to relationship mending, family, careers, love, etc.
If I write this portion of the story well, the chapter could easily become 35k, but that would delay posting and it would be overwhelming to edit. This way, you will all still get a chapter that is at least 15k. I will also have time to properly develop the second half and get it posted by next week.
So basically, instead of a huge cliffhanger at the end of chapter 21, you will likely get a sex scene and a tiny cliffhanger 🤷♀️
