Ok I don't have the time to make a post fully articulating all the connections yet but.

The warlock teacher's patron is her celestial paramour. Ayda and Fig are celestial and infernal respectively. Fig's muse is Ayda. Ayda would tear apart the fabric of reality for Fig (she's already created a pseudo-religious order of knights for her).

Fig and Ayda began their relationship by literally signing mutual contracts.
