Thanks for adding new music to the online store. We always appreciate new tunes. If I can make a suggestion, however, there’s an orchestrion roll so epic that it’d make thousands if not millions of dollars in player sales if it were to be added as well.

The song? Masayoshi Soken’s live version of La Hee, otamatone and all.

Imagine entering an apartment, FC home, or personal home, only to be met with the loud and screeching call of LA HEE as you walk through the door (with little kazoo-like dwooooos echoing in the background.)

I guarantee it’d be your best-selling orchestrion ever.

Time for another post where I talk about a XIV song- Shadows Withal is SO fun? I love the start of it with its tuning-radio vibe, and then it settles into this fun jewel heist jazz. I also just love whenever a dungeon is jazzy tho… 🤔 (gestures vaguely at Ink Long Dry)

Oh gosh this is a hard one!! This will be tough as there's so many songs in FFXIV that I adore. But here's my top 5:

With Hearts Aligned - Endsinger Phase 2 I love the way all of the previous boss themes are weaved together for both Phase 1 and 2 of this fight! The lyrics are amazing and still hit hard- it just feels epic. I'm a huge fan of reoccurring leitmotifs in music and this one just slaps 👏

2. Rise - Alexander Prime Theme A to the L to the E X ANDER ♪ the beat of this gets me every time, I love the high energy. This is a get pumped song, for sure ♥

3. Unchanging, Everchanging - Lakeland Night Theme Now for something completely different! I adore the sense of peace this song gives me- beautiful piano with a steady buildup of other instruments. It's been a top 5 for me since I first heard it!

4. A Long Fall - The Twinning Theme Of course this song had to be in the list. I mean, pretty self explanatory, right? Mash Omega and Crystal Tower music, and BAM! Certified banger.

5. Nobility Obliges- Ishgard Pillars Day Theme This one is an unexpected favorite of mine- I adore the pacing of the music, the instruments; I love the harp that comes in towards the end and the harmony of it all.

I love music, so if you're taking requests, I'm curious what FFXIV track you feel fits Ki'to! ♡

Well it's not necessarily an obvious one, but I settled on Freedom. It's upbeat, but it's got affecting elements that are moving and reflective. It feels triumphant, but not pompous, and I suppose I was thinking of Ki'to's story of starting out with such naivety, having his moral resolve tested on his journey, but still coming out of it resolved to help others and through that resolve touching so many different people. The kind of thing he might walk through cheering crowds to, arm in arm with Aymeric (maybe with Graha on the other arm, depending on when said walking occurs).

It has been exactly one week (1) since Soken snatched my soul with Scream. I still have not recovered.

man, the new zone in this patch sure is... different.

Aching Longing by Holding Absense ft. Alpha Wolf

The lyrics very much resonate with his time with the Empire and the effect the place had on him, and how much anger and loathing he felt towards nation.

Wrote this waiting for the Endwalkers release. Had no idea what it was going to be about. I wanted to make this tribute because I was so excited for it. 

@charmiespecs went on a filming mission with me and we made a little movie.
