Are you excited for the upcoming FF7 event? At first, I was but now I feel like the story of ff7 has just become so convoluted and filled with fan service (zack being alive), I'm starting to lose hope for the game. Thenagain, more Sephiroth is always good but im just scared his character is gonna get ruined. 😔

Hey Anon! Yeah, I'm excited but I'm not going to keep my hopes high. We've been clowned for so many times by SE so I decided to keep my enthusiasm low.

I'm not into Zack being alive either as much as I like him. Look, so many ppl jumped into conclusions during Intergrade..IMO Zack is still dead, and Intergrade scene was not an alternate universe, and more like, Zack was in a limbo somewhere between life & death after the execution..he was not yet merging with the lifestream but the scene when he was coming into church was actually a fragment of his memory during his life-death situation and that's why Aerith was not there, because she isn't dead yet. Sorry if this was confusing..lol..all I'm trying to say that in my opinion, Zack's scene is more or less,a flashback. While Sephiroth is a lot more interesting cause we will never know what he's going to do next.

Yeah there is a little doubt in me about how they're going to pull off with Sephy's shenanigans cause he & Aerith are the two mysterious figures in FF7R. I don't mind at all if they were going for Aerith vs Sephiroth mind games as a plot twist but let's pray that they're going to execute it nicely.

Also I'm actually hoping for LESS SHIPPING FODDER. Oh my God. I can't stand this fandom because of it & I hope SE learn not to give in into some wild fantasies that these stans wanted to push. Let everyone end up being free & single. It doesn't matter & it won't ruin the story at all. Cloud will find himself in the end afterall.

Btw, don't trust anything you read on the net! 🤣 there are no leaks whatsoever..we can stay calm for now..hah!

( i love how something as simple as one shot gives us a good insight into the directors & their reactions to rufus as president. reeve looks dead-ahead. he's arguably the most ballsy of anyone at shinra and faces whatever is due to come head on. palmer's ready to absolutely suck up to rufus, his little smile / giggle indicative that he never cared much for shinra sr and is glad the man's gone ( as it paves way for the space department to get picked up again ? ) scartet looks lax, almost uncaring but perhaps a little apprehensive. she gives rufus a flirty little grin ( something akin to a wink and a nod, like, 'i'm here!' ) heidegger can't bare to look at rufus. he knows times are a-changing. rufus isn't his father, he's no longer number 2. )

my partner has been playing through og ffvii for me (I'm seeing the whole game for the first time!!) and afterwards we're gonna rewatch advent children again and take turns playing dirge of cerberus (which i have played ofc) and he's gonna give me one of his PSPs so that i can play crisis core (for the first time!!) while i work and then he's gonna play ff7remake intergrade for me and honestly I'm so excited. can't wait to become more attached to characters and create insert content

FF Dissidia Opera Omnia Act 4 Chapter 8 (specifically Part 2) is largely about Angeal trying to get Sephiroth back his memories. Sephiroth gets some memories of Angeal and Genesis (represented by Weiss) on accident when he absorbs a crystal and gets visibly weaker with them.

This chapter was only released last year in Japanese. Square-Enix uploaded the chapters on YouTube with English translation when Rebirth came out. This is the chapter where they defeat Sephiroth for real. Part 1 is mostly about describing the "Dreams and Honor" bit, which is the catalyst to everything (it may be in FF7R Part 3 as well).

I think Angeal is the final character added to the game, although he was datamined years ago. Also, Vincent tells Sephiroth about Lucrecia at the end of Part 2.
