aprils fools and bloops aside LETS TALK ABOUT THE LUCAS SINGLE EP AND TXT MINI EP ?????
going to talk about the lucas ep bc i’m a bigger nct stan so i feel like this is important to talk about. so this is a long rant i apologize.
disclaimers: this is a rant from someone who’s biggest ult group is wayv (in case you couldn’t tell from the winwin pfp…) so i’m going to try to remain as unbiased as possible and talk on my thoughts of lucas with wayv and lucas without wayv
personally, i’ve never actually cared for lucas. all throughout their songs and all the nct u units with lucas i always questioned lucas’s placement within them. i never liked his singing/rapping style at all. preferred winwin and hendery’s deep voice, and sometimes i would get mad at the line distribution on sm’s end because those two deserved so many more lines than they were getting. i feel like within wayv, hendery, lucas, and winwin’s roles were so blurred and overlapped lucas often over shadowed them because he was considered the center/face of the group. he was definitely popular and charismatic in interviews, and a lot of people knew him after his appearance on running man. now that lucas is no longer with wayv i feel that focus has shifted to ten, which honestly deserved because ten is an all rounder (not a rapper sm please stop making him rap….) i’m honestly really happy with wayv’s currently line up (even though winwin isn’t getting that many lines but agahhshueudghss that’s sm’s fault.)
i won’t talk about the controversy since that’s still a big… situation within the fandom.
(i do not support him btw...................... i pirated the album oops!)
honestly, i’m surprised lucas didn’t leave sm. the whole way they were marketing his comeback made him seem like guilty of his actions. which again i won’t address on, but looking outwards in, it seems like sm is just using him for profit so i feel that all hate directed towards lucas should be directed towards sm instead.
now onto the album!
Renegade: I actually really really like the instrumental. when i listen to a song, i take in fact vocals and instrumental because those are key components to a song. I’ve never practically enjoyed lucas’s voice in any song… but I actually do think he can rap?? at least in this song. it’s a full song so instead of sharing lines with others he does have a chance to showcase his full talent, which i think is what sm was trying to achieve. I can actually find myself listening to this my in my free time because the chorus is so catchy. ignoring the hate and criticism aside, i enjoy “sm core” music and i quite like this one. on terms of his singing ability, nothing stands out to me but again… i’m also here for the music.
Dip it Low: yes i listen to the whole album that’s how i work. I like the funky beat of this one. Lucas’s vocals blends with the instrumental sometimes, so i feel like i’m just listening for the instrumental. “baby girl” is throwing me off so hard.
Crushing on you: very summer core esq vibes. not my cup of tea, only listened to this one once. in all honesty, it seems like this whole album was a marketing ploy to cater to Lucas’s already existing fans who supported him. Which is really shitty on SM’s end, using Lucas, but it’s business I guess.

Significance of Hair in Frozen and Frozen 2
(Spoilers for Frozen and Frozen Two btw)
Alright then! After going on an hour long rant to my friends about how beautiful and symbolic frozen is I have decided to make a post about the symbolism and importance of hair in Frozen (obviously this is a thing that many people have spoken about and I am probably going to repeat a lot of what other people have already said but I wanted to give my own personal insight and thoughts into how hair is used to create meaning in Frozen)
So my general idea is that loose hair is representative of the Enchanted Forest and braided hair is representative of Arenwdelle and hair is used to show where the two protagonists Elsa and Anna belong and feel at home (for Elsa the Enchanted forest and for Anna Arendelle (sidetone just realised that Elsa and Enchanted forest both start with an E and Arendelle and Anna both start with an A. Funny coincidence???))
Anyway, let’s start with how Elsa’s hair transforms through the films:
So, let’s start from the coronation of Elsa, she has her hair tightly done up (and we can assume that it’s in someway braided because in Let It Go it falls out into a plait) it’s at this point that she feels trapped the most I think, she is being made to become the ruler of a kingdom of people who she has been hiding herself from, a kingdom of people who she believes will think she is a monster and her hair helps to demonstrate how restricted she feels. Formal and, as I said, tightly done, a stark contrast to the end of Frozen two when her hair is completely loose when she feels completely free and completely herself.
And during the banger of a song ‘Let It Go’ she takes her hair out of its formal style as she begins to feel more free and more comfortable in herself, her hair is no longer restrictive but it hangs loosely round her shoulders. However, it is still in a braid, although she may feel more free she is yet to feel truly and home and there is a difference between feeling free in solitude and feeling like she belongs and to her she hasn’t found where she feels most at home and so most likely still clings onto the happiness she felt as a kid when she felt like she was home (before she accidentally hurt Anna and she started to feel out of place and like a monster)
Her hair stays like that during Frozen Fever, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure and the first chunk of Frozen 2 because she doesn’t know about the Enchanted forest and because she is happy with Anna and the rest of her family she still feels that Arendelle is her home and where she belongs hence why she still wears a braid in her hair, but as we learn in Frozen 2 she still feels like something is missing and she doesn't fully belong
And for the first part of her being in the Enchanted forest she continues to wear that braid, she meets the fire spirit and the air spirit and she begins to get a sense that maybe she should be there, but she still can’t stand the thought of being apart from her sister and the comforts of Arendelle and so, the braid remains
It’s when she has to tame the water spirit the the braid finally goes, because this is one of the final steps to her realising that the Enchanted Forest is wear she is meant to be, it is when she tames the water spirit that she is able to be shown the cave where she sees her mother and accepts that she is where she belongs and discovers the truth about herself being the fifth spirit. But her hair is still tied up because she is still trying to hold on, she is still attached to Arendelle even though that attachment is weakening, in fact it isn’t her attachment to Arendelle, it’s most likely her desperation to stay with Anna and her reluctance to leave Anna and the place she has lived her entire life behind
And there it is!!!!!! When she finally accepts that Arendelle is not her home and that she belongs in the Enchanted Forest the braids vanish and she has her hair fully loose
Anna on the other hand keeps a plait in her hair no matter what because unlike Elsa Arendelle is where she belongs, it is where she is meant to be:
From Elsa’s coronation
All the way through Frozen one and the start of Frozen two where she wore her signature plaited pigtails
In Olaf’s Frozen Adventure and Frozen Fever we can still see plaits woven into her hairstyles
And her main hairstyle in Frozen two, although it is still majority loose, there is still a braid in it
And like Elsa we also should assume that she has some form of braid in her coronation hairstyle but unlike Elsa it isn't a sign of entrapment and unlike Elsa she isn't scared and miserable, she is content and happy and ready to rule over and protect her home as their queen
In fact the only time there is no plait at all in her hair is when she first wakes up and her hair is an absolute mess but other than that the braid never leaves her hair, not once and that is because, unlike Elsa who by the end has no braids in her hair and is completely loose, has never felt not at home in Arendelle, she never felt out of place or that she never belonged, Arendelle is where she was always meant to be

I was listening to music thinking about why I find stuff written by Australian artists so refreshing (especially my real life 21st century merry thieves from my hometown aka 5sos if you're wondering) like is it just the cultural familiarity? But I realised what I was noticing was a distinct lack of something I'm not quite sure how to conceptualise. It's like, a desperate worship of a significant other that borders on (okay a lot of the time is outright) objectification, like I get the vibes of relying on this person or their body to solve everything for you from a lot of american especially songs (I find False God to be a great commentary on it actually and generally have no problems with taylor btw). It's like I want to vibe with a song, I really want to, but it kind of puts me on edge and gives vibes that aren't quite predatory but I also can't quite relax into, like even if it isn't sexual at all I feel like if I put myself in the position of the wrong person in the song, they want something from me. Especially cis straight male artists but like the genders can flip sometimes and occasionally a queer artist can emit the same ~vibe~ whereas with 5sos for example I can put myself into any position in any one of their songs and they do sing about some dark stuff, same goes for the sexier ones too, and feel utterly safe and understood and the vibes are like yeah it might suck now but somehow we'll get through and I don't need to change myself to get there, and somehow that vibe is so strong it can be manufactured into real life and I can just carry it around with me in the world. Even when I'm torn up and grieving and angry, it's safe to feel that with no expectations on how.
And (comparing to America now because that's the controlling patriarchy majority but also western entertainment majority from my pov) I've never been there but the things I hear about subtle sexism or just the entitlement rampant in the evangelical church (and if you know me I'll always wind my way back to manifesting an actually biblically canon following for Jesus preferably soon) and it's like Halloween spooky stories for the more sheltered of us (I am now aware it's most likely really subtle and I wouldn't notice it on first visit) but still. I've been unpacking pda-profile neurodivergent and control trauma for long enough now I know that need for control comes from an unmet need. So before I start ranting about sex ethics (because intimate means safe to me and imo that is Biblically Canon) I just want to say, are you okay, America?
And that when I'm feeling the need to be in control of someone else to feel whole inside I go and lower my demands and access some real kind connection because that is what my brain needs, not control over someone else! Not to mention make boundaries to free myself from feeling like someone else is constantly controlling me. And then because I'm a traumatised bitch and I probably won't feel whole inside anyway I go and blast some 5sos and remind myself things can get better and I'm safe to feel my emotions instead of pushing them down all the time, and if I want to I can make some tasteful joke or meme about it that resonates with someone and bam! I've laid the groundwork for connection! something that this brain desperately needs and is scientifically proven will make me feel better in the long run (provided it isn't the fake kind of connection that wants me to be something I'm not for its happy facade, and I'm genuinely concerned there are whole countries who don't understand this concept) anyway
did I mention I love aussie self-deprecating (but mature about it so we pace our spirals to be regular and interspersed with good parties and d&m's and growth and perspective and wanting to make things better) angst culture?

So yesterday I find out one thing about one of the main character, and I wonder if anybody gonna mention that in the future so yeah gonna share that anyway
Btw, I'm using Tumblr more for the funny way to spend free time like twitter or Pinterest, so I'm not rly into big posts. But I'm also thinking of making a blog about my process in my creation, how it's usual going, maybe some kind of interesting topic that would be better mention off camera or just experience as creator. I have some topic to talk about, so you guys can tell me if I could do more blogs like that, and I won't care because I'm gonna do it anyway/j
for the context, I recently try to make my first homestuck inspired webcomic with own gimmicks, own world building and own characters in my free time (don't expect the creation to be quick I can't make my irl thing fast and especially with my internet book with images ;-;)
I realized that Cezary (the character that I mentioned) is very similar to James from silent hill 2, and I don't want to spoil my creation, but I think this is so funny that I made a character so similar with design AND THIER STORY
I've made cezary based on my experience. Not like I'm making for myself a self insert god, I just believe that the best character scenarios are from personal experience / feeling that happened to creator. For example: “My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness (idk if it's the best example or is this more a rant manga)” or ”hotline Miami Richter Berg's mother segment” witch I recommend you dig into that but try not harass the creators. ofc nothing against inspiring from other characters but for me personally the best way to make character is to make them relatable, and we can make characters relatable by your own life experience
anyway the cezary experience is more based on my Ekhem… own relationships, but not only that, I also have inspired in design from the military parka (from my grandfather) (pic for reference)
but here comes the fun part, the cezary design was made before I get into silent hill 2 game. And to be more in detail: the design that were base on was made in 2022 probably somewhere close in September (can't rly tell bc I'm like that bad bitch flower from Scott Pilgrim where I fucking hate my past and I want to get away as far as possible). And I've completed SH2 in 9th February 2024.
But yeah uh I want to say that was the parallel thinking effect… buuuut i really want to believe that this is effect of military parkas with the patriotic flags somewhere which make you the “sad wife guy” (like i said i type this because of my relationship experience)

i would poke fun at the show for that but i think all my comfort shows have those types of reviews too. i'm pretty sure hawkeye didn't do that well with the general public so i can't hold it against titans. i cannot believe you're bringing up the Lego games because, this is embarrassing to admit but, i was OBSESSED with the Lego Batman 2 game and that's exactly what led me to fall down the DC rabbit hole and eventually the Nightwing rabbit hole. after Lego Batman came Injustice and then the Batman Arkham series which is still my favorite videogame series to this day. even though i never finished origins.
i'm serious do NOT encourage me to talk about this show, i can go on for ages, it's so silly but so important to me and it honestly has the best queer representation of all the Arrowverse shows. [with the exception of Batwoman which was taken from us too soon. and yes that is another rant.] ajksdfhjaghjhdagjh that episode will live in my mind rent free until the day i die! i remember watching it when it aired and i lost my damn mind at the "i don't want you to be normal!" outburst. i love them with all my heart.
whoops, i didn't realize you didn't know. i don't know what season you stopped at but basically, without spoiling anything, Season 7 ended in a cliffhanger and then the news came out that both Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman were cancelled AKA the two shows with the most queer representation. meanwhile, the flash [aka the show with like literally zero rep unless you count subtext] got to do its last [awful, btw] season. as you can tell, i'm still pissed about it.
i have a love-hate relationship with supercorp because i adore them but [to no one's surprise] the CW ruined them and just used their relationship as queerbait since the show was obviously going downhill. the blog is actually still up but i am far too embarrassed to leak it because...yikes.

I’m. So. Glad. You. Asked.
I literally cracked my knuckles before I started typing out my answer because now Diane and Kurt haven't sat at the top of my phone notes page titled "comfort characters - zodiac signs" for over a year for nothing. I'll give you what I think their big three (sun, moon and rising sign) are, explain a little about why I've chosen each of them, and finish each section with a bit of compatibility talk to round up this rant outburst shitshow thesis. (You know what, yes, I'm calling it a thesis. The amount of astrology kitchen sink psychology knowledge I have is ridiculous and will be put to... well, a use of some sort. Buckle up and enjoy!)
First up, a small disclaimer/spoiler: I don't think Kurt is a Capricorn at all. I've seen a couple of people talking about his alleged Capricorn vibes on my twitter timeline before and I cannot see it for the life of me. Capricorns are stern and ambitious, organised, striving for authority and often materialistic (they’re basically the human form of the “it’s about drive, it’s about power” song). While Kurt is hard-working, he never comes off like a workaholic, and he’s very laid back, rather spontaneous and chaotic than anal and organised. Professional success doesn’t seem to be the leading drive in his life - on the contrary: he often sacrifices it for his beliefs and the loyalty he craves to be a defining part of himself. Sorry anon, sorry Twitter fam, feel free to comment on this post and try to lay out to me why you would ever view Kurt as a Capricorn, because I'd actually love to hear an explanation for it.
I’d also like to note that we each have our own interpretation of these characters, and that’s exactly the way it’s supposed to be. The Good Wife/Fight is not a sitcom, it never reduces the characters’ stories to what little it depicts on-screen. Especially with Kurt, the show leaves plenty of room for interpretation. But this is my answer (btw, I’m sorry, anon, I’m sure you didn’t know what you were getting yourself into) and while this post may not make anyone’s day but mine, it’s really, really making my day so much because yes, astrology may be scientifically incorrect bs, but it’s fun scientifically incorrect bs.

Sagittarius is all about freedom, an everlasting longing for more and avoiding things that might constrict them. Sagittariuses are most likely to be interested in travelling and philosophy, but not just for the sake of collecting experiences and engaging in pretentious conversations at social gatherings, but because they feel like their experiences and the various impressions they want to collect are a part of who they are or what they long to be, almost like they owe it to the world to try and discover as much of it as they possibly can in the time they have, and in return, to themselves to become the best possible version of themselves.
Diane is very inquisitive. Her attempts to figure out the world, to try and solve it like a puzzle, and to find out where she stands in it are a huge part of her character and her struggles. She works in an environment that doesn’t seem to fit with her idealism, almost like she’s daring her belief system to cave and crumble and make room for her personal growth. She surrounds herself with people who are vastly different from herself, driven by emotions and impulse and often times even chaos (see Will, Marissa, and of course Kurt), and for someone who really seems to define herself through her views, beliefs and idealism, she keeps challenging those constructs by confronting herself with realities and opinions that don’t seem to fit into the idea of the world she has.
Diane is aspirational. She has lots of goals in her life that keep her driven, but that are also so vastly different from each other that they would interfere with each other if they were fulfilled. We’ve seen her wish to be judge, her wish to retire in Europe, her wish to be a good lawyer, to be powerful enough to make a change in the world, her long-buried wish to be a mother. The variety of her dreams and the various lives she can imagine herself living cause her to keep reflecting herself and in turn keep her from losing herself in stagnation.
Diane’s longing for freedom and her dislike for things she thinks would sacrifice her freedom determine the possibly life-changing choices she makes, like pushing away close relationships, may they be romantic or platonic, not taking leaps, and second-guessing her trust in others. She's an idealist and often crushed by her disappointment in the world, because feeling like she is still in control of her understanding is a huge part of not only her intellect, but also of her identity. Her view of the world and the role she plays in it are the core of how she defines herself. I just think Sagittarius makes a silly amount of sense for her.
Kurt: Taurus

This, like pretty much all the placements I picked for Kurt, is one of the ones I expect to be the most controversial, but it just makes so much sense to me.
Taurus is practical and relies on logic, which grounds and calms them by basically tying a string to them that connects them with the physical world which kindly gives them a frame for their pursuit of stability. They can be materialistic but are often very minimalistic at the same time, able to feel comfortable with little as long as what they have gives them a sense of routine and consistency. They are great listeners and very dependable, but they also tend to be stubborn and set in their ways.
Kurt 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 such 👏🏼 a 👏🏼 Taurus 👏🏼. At the start of the show, the writers basically write out for us that he’s the most loyal person on earth. And even when that seems to change, it happens in a setting in which there’s basically no routine in his life due to Diane’s unreliability (not blaming Diane for being cheated on but this is a simple fact), almost like he loses himself as he loses what gives him his sense of security in this world (I really didn’t want to talk about the cheating storyline, but it’s fitting so nicely into the Kurt-is-a-Taurus-theory that I almost feel inclined to forgive Robert and Michelle on the spot. Almost.).
Kurt is the definition of practical. He finds out Diane is being threatened by an anonymous source, grabs a saw and a handful of wires he had lying around and builds a working security system for their front door (I mean what the actual fuck). He’s calm, like the rock in the raging waters that is Diane (this woman is a human tornado). He’s very all or nothing, up to the point where somehow every single question he asks Diane can only be answered with either “Let’s elope, flee the country and sip Piña Coladas and go skinny dipping together until we die” or “I’ll delete your contact info, forget we ever met each other and avoid ever talking to you again”. He invented being low maintenance; before he moves in with Diane, he has exactly two jackets, a pair of jeans and shoes, a sports coat, two flannel shirts, the suit he got married in, and a single hideous belt. And he has foodie vibes. I can’t explain that point, but he just does. What more could you expect from a Taurus?
(Honestly, somebody please explain the Capricorn theory to me, because I genuinely tried to see it, but all I see is a couch potato with a bowl of pasta in their lap, defined by their goodness and loyalty.)
Compatibility: Sagittarius sun x Taurus sun
If you look it up online, Sagittarius and Taurus supposedly have about the compatibility of lesbian English majors and their male Math teachers from school (haters gonna hate). But if you think about it, that actually makes a certain kind of sense. Because McHart literally makes no sense whatsoever on paper, until you’ve used said paper to write a stupidly time-consuming character study about them (but really, who in their right mind would take the time and energy to do that...), and/or have seen them fuck. Incidentally, that’s also why the pairing is always at its peak popularity in the fandom when there's regular fanfiction updates, because fanfiction was invented to cover both of those aspects.
Anyway... They’re basically laid out by the stars to be an opposites attract couple. They’re intellect, idealism and concepts vs. logic, realism and practicality. Sagittarius is at their best when they’re socialising and exploring, and they thrive on variety in their life. Taurus on the other hand is most content being at home on the couch workday after workday without their sweatpants ever starting to make them itchy. Sagittarius might start feeling bored by the dull Taurus routine and Taurus may feel overwhelmed and unsettled because of Sagittarius’ variety of interests and social-butterfly-ness. They’re the classic couple that has to put in a lot of effort and mutual understanding to find balance in a shared life, but the way they complement each other is all the more rewarding if it works well.
Diane finds variety and new experiences at work. Coming home to Kurt and the constant he brings to her life almost appears to ground her restlessness at times when it threatens to leave her feeling overwhelmed. On the other hand, she can always pick a fight with him when things start getting dull. Kurt, luckily, seems to be pretty content in most environments, as long as he has a stable job and a place to call home. Once those factors are covered, he - despite all his stubbornness - actually becomes very adaptable and even seems to enjoy the challenges Diane’s tornado personality seems to bring to his life, as long as it doesn’t touch those basic requirements (*cough* *cough* TGF season 5). God knows it has taken them ages and a lot of off-screen strategy talks (I’m just assuming those happened because it’s the only thing that puts the s2 to s3 TGF jump into place) but they’re figuring it out. It won’t ever be easy, but easy isn’t what Kurt wants, nor what Diane needs, as long as there’s stability and growth around them.

I’m saying this with so much love: Diane is a piece of work. She won’t settle for anything less than someone who feels like the love of her life, but obviously in order to remain her posture, stay guarded and protect her stance as she who invented strong independent womanhood (the latter being her Sagittarius sun speaking btw), she’s going to put up walls that could tower over the Chicago skyline. Diane feels so much that she tries to battle the mazy tangle of her emotions with human kind’s stupidest response to any feeling ever: rationalisation. She just rationalises the hell out of her feelings until she can’t remember where the thought process even started, comes to either no conclusion or the most absurd one anyone could come up with (I’m being harsh. Reconciling with your husband after he’s almost split his skull hanging out of a car in some godforsaken Walmart parking lot, only to then ghost him for approximately four months is completely normal, mentally healthy behaviour).
She’s like a daydream dressed in a brick wall of nightmares. The right instincts and a craving for real, emotional bonds are all there, but she’s so painfully out of touch with anything internal but her intellect (and her Lockhussy) that she just walks the opposite way instead of letting herself be happy, may it be because she’s a clown or because she’s trying to protect herself (it’s probably both). Either way, she gives big water sign energy when it comes to the way she handles her emotions. The problematic kind (yours sincerely, a fellow water sign).
Diane is a control freak and she has trust issues for days. If those things were a currency, she still would have been able to afford the South of France house post Ponzi scheme, nay, could’ve purchased the whole of France altogether. (Remember when she had Kalinda spying on Matthew Overby to help her decide if she wanted to answer his “Do you want to be my girlfriend?” note with “yes”, “no” or “maybe”? Remember when she was upset about Kurt’s injury from the shooting range and had Marissa go through the Trump boys’ social media to search for pictures of dead zebras and giraffes, a task that literally did nothing for her except cost her about five minutes of Marissa-salary? Remember when she ripped the ointment out of his hands the episode prior? Idiot. I absolutely adore her.)
Diane is the woman who broods alone in her office in the middle of the night, nursing a glass of scotch when she's feeling down. Multiple times throughout both shows. She actually slams her head against a wardrobe one time. The slay. The pure drama. If that doesn’t give emo water sign energy, I don’t know what does.
Kurt: Aries
Moon in Aries explained: impulsive, hot-headed, determined; crave excitement, spontaneity and victory; strong emotions, sort of as though they have a raging toddler inside them who won’t stop screaming in the grocery store until their parents agree to buy them candy, but not because they're smart or manipulative, but because they just really want that candy and why shouldn't they have candy if they want some
Kurt is such an Aries moon and it’s easily my favourite thing about him. It has so much comedic value. As soon as he feels something, he completely unhinges, like a fully functioning door that suddenly just flops down to the floor with a bang that sound like someone screaming "Jesus, take the wheel". Vibing with the woman you used to date for a couple of months? Ask her to permanently move to Costa Rica with you (if she laughs at you because it’s fucking crazy, propose marriage to distract her). Cheated on your long-distance wife and feel terrible about it? Don’t tell her, instead sell all your belongings to the woman you cheated with and ask your wife to move in with you. She proposes divorce after you’ve been separated for a year? Wait out in the cold at her front door for hours until she comes home, then tell her you’re her friend (if she won’t relent, go to her office the next day and try yelling a little). Need a favour from her because she’s outspoken and you’re socially awkward? Bring her a thank-you-gift (so far so good). What kind of gift? Well, a gun, obviously.
I could go on like this for days. For someone who is super calm and practical and fairly reasonable, Kurt’s emotions turn him into a child with a temper. He feels something, he wants something, and he’s turning on the heels of his cowboy boots, determined to get it. And not even because he thinks it’s his right to get what he wants, but because he genuinely doesn’t reflect his emotions at all and therefore never even sees any reason why things could possibly not work out. And even if he did, his everlasting need for stability can easily be momentarily defied by his emotional craving for excitement. He wants to clash, he wants passion and leaps and challenge and fire, and why shouldn’t he have it? If it makes him happy, if it makes the people in his life happy, why shouldn’t they just end their separation and move back in together? If he loves her and she loves him, what is there to talk about? If he likes her and she likes him and work was a factor that used to get between them, and if the firm is stressing her out these days, why shouldn’t they elope and move to Costa Rica? Everything’s gonna be alright, what could possibly go wrong?

Compatibility: Scorpio moon x Aries moon
Kurt is very open about his emotions. If Diane upsets him, he immediately expresses his anger or pain to her. Diane on the other hand leaves a lot of her emotions open to interpretation. We’ve seen it clash, the result used to be another casual half a season with no Kurt-episodes. But if it works, it really, really works. If there’s one passionate couple in the world of fictional characters, it’s Kurt and Diane. They fight and fuck and they love each other so fiercely. Something that was a big theme in TGF’s season 3 is that Kurt seems to have found a way to get through to Diane when she tries to shut him out (something I’d like to call trust). He stays calm yet confrontational, he communicates to her that they’re a team, and Diane is learning to include him more. On the other hand, the way Diane tends to take rationality over feelings forces Kurt to find a more stable middle ground with her, which probably also gives him a little more peace than he used to have before he met her, keeping in mind how much he values stability. No, they won’t give up everything they have to move to Costa Rica together, but they will take nine months to travel the world or vacation in Italy. No, they won’t reconcile just because they love each other, but they will meet to talk and slowly start to work through their problems so they can do better for each other once they try this again. Their relationship was never all or nothing, which is Diane’s gift to Kurt. But having it all no longer has to be intimidating, which is Kurt’s gift to Diane.
The compatibility of moon signs indicates how people relate emotionally. Scorpio and Aries moons are both very emotional and passionate in two entirely different expressions. Aries is impulsive, impatient and aggressive while Scorpio internalizes and is prone to be passive-aggressive. Aries is very direct and confrontational, Scorpio holds grudges and tends to hide emotions behind the walls they put up around them. If both put a lot of effort into the relationship, the passion they share draws them to each other like magnets and can be very rewarding, but the dynamic has a tendency to lead to imbalance, with one of them putting a lot more effort into pleasing the other (I’m still convinced this is exactly what happened the countless times they tried being together pre separation. Kurt was much more emotionally available and Diane didn’t even notice how hard he was trying and how little she gave him in return, because that was just the way she always was with people. It was bound to end, and while I disapprove of the way it happened, it’s also completely understandable why he was the one to break).
Both signs like to be in charge, Aries liking the leadership and Scorpio seeking out the feeling of always being in control (a point that we’ve rarely seen leading to any trouble between them because one thing they’ve done right from the very beginning is that they’re very equal in their relationship and always staying at eye level. They have endless amounts of respect for each other and neither of them seems to try to dominate the relationship). Aries emotions are generally more superficial, like outbursts, while Scorpio is very deep. It’s overall a very challenging pairing that doesn’t usually last very long due to too many differences, but if it works long term, it’ll be all the more passionate and emotional.

Rising signs:

Diane: Virgo
Virgo rising explained: appear organised, put together and reliable; composed and intellectual aura; can be intimidating due to their perfectionist vibes; communicative and curious; often the ones sought out by their loved ones for advice; care deeply for other people
Diane’s rising sign is basically what we see of her in The Good Wife, sans her interactions with Kurt and a couple of moments with Will and Kalinda, because they’re basically the only people that made her take down her guards in that show and because its psychological focus was so rarely on her.
Diane is regal. She’s classy, has a no-bullshit attitude and she very much gives off “that one teacher that’s everyone’s maternal figure” vibes. She’s the one you respect, because she holds herself in that certain way that just seems so in control, so well put together and smart. She’s the person you meet and instantly want to impress and your worst nightmare suddenly becomes disappointing her or letting her down. She’s also much less distant and impersonal than she lets on.
I think Diane is one of those people who still are very much defined by their rising sign, even though most of the time, rising signs become less important the older and more mature you get, because her Virgo traits are not a simple self-discovery-arch of her story, but basically her coping mechanism and safety net. And I think that actually makes a lot of sense. Her mask is what people have always expected, even relied on for her to be (organised, communicative and caring, like her mother probably wanted, and focused, intellectual, academic and perfectionist traits her father laid out for her), and therefore, what she herself expects to be. The firm runs best when she’s there to solve everyone’s messes. Her Virgo mask is what keeps shit running, and when she’s in doubt, she pulls it on because the validation she’s always gotten for it must be linked to a huge boost of self-assurance, the absence of it in turn linked to chaos and disappointment. Diane’s rising sign is everything she has to protect herself, but - thinking of her Sagittarius sun - it’s also what tightly limits her room for the personal growth she craves so much, which is probably why she’s losing it around the people she trusts and loves enough to define them as a real part of her personal life, and in circumstances where she feels like her understanding of the world is slipping out of her hands (which is super interesting, because while I don’t necessarily think that she always makes the best decisions when her guards are down, there’s a lot of bravery behind it that I think most people don’t really appreciate. She puts her guard up when she feels like she’s losing control, but when she’s at her most vulnerable, she lets it down because she knows she has to in order to put it into place and grow on it).
I don’t know if any of this makes sense, but I also think Virgo rising for Diane is the least controversial take of this post, so I guess it doesn’t really matter anyway.
Kurt: Cancer
Cancer rising explained: often described as “traditional” or “nurturing”; like routine and value their homelife, and with it their personal space and the people they allow inside; hard exterior, more sensitive than they appear to be
Cancer is the perfect choice for Kurt’s rising sign, because he just has so many cliché Cancer traits. Kurt lives and breathes tradition (I don’t want to talk about his politics in this post so this is as far as it’s going to get), and sometimes even tends to value them just because things have always been the way they are, not because they have any kind of emotional value to him. Speaking of emotions, Kurt is a perfect example for someone who seems all no-nonsense and practical (which he is, but:), until he goes on a date with you and pep-talks you through a full daddy-issues-infused identity crisis. I don’t have any evidence to back this up, but I think that because he’s so much more observant than communicative, he’s really good at reading the room, which is the kind of sensitivity I absolutely would link to a Cancer rising.
Long story short: Kurt has soft dad vibes and there’s no better astrology placement to express that than Cancer rising.
Compatibility: Virgo rising x Cancer rising
Again, because we know so little about Kurt, I have no factual evidence to back this up, but I was always convinced that Kurt has or at least had a very close bond to his family, while Diane’s upbringing has been much colder. The first and pretty much only two times she mentions her parents at all in the span of twelve seasons are when her idolisation of her father is crushed when she finds out how he betrayed one of his best friends and then proceeds to propose to Kurt (50% lovesick clownery, 50% spiting her dead dad, we gotta stan), and when she drunkenly tells Alicia that she was a disappointment to her mother. That’s a whole lot to unpack, but in my opinion, it’s enough to assume that Diane didn’t really grow up having a lovey dovey family dynamic that accepted her for who she wanted to be rather than what was expected of her, which I’m guessing Kurt did, because it’s the only thing that would explain anyone’s obsession with traditions and old ways to me. Someone who grew up without a stereotypical, heteronormative “America’s sweethearts” style family dynamic and still turned out okay cannot have had a bad relationship with their stereotypical, heteronormative family, right?
The compatibility of rising signs indicates how people get on socially. Virgo risings often come off as reserved and distant, while Cancer risings seem warm. Cancer risings really value their close relationships with friends and family and are the kind of people who tend to have a smaller number of people in their lives that are very very close to them, rather than a Virgo rising, who often has numerally more people around them, while their bonds with them often aren’t unconditional.
Anyway, I like this for Diane. I think it’s really good for her to have someone who brings that kind of warmth into her life, someone who gives her the unconditional love and affection, the safety net a family should have given her, even though the two of them make quite the non-traditional family. And it’s good for Kurt to have Diane because she gets him to leave the house and try some pasta salad recipes every now and then that haven’t been in his family for 376 years, but she also agrees to leave soon when the introvert wants to go back home. Remember that scene? I just love that scene.

Ever since your first day back from summer vacation, you had become the center of attention!
All eyes were on you and you never walked alone.
You weren’t sure what spiked your popularity so suddenly but you sure as hell weren’t going to question it!
Nothing felt better than finally having friends to talk to as opposed to bullies to fight off.
The best part of your new found popularity was that you were finally free from Dib’s clingy clutches!
Before your rise to hi skool stardom, Dib was the bane of your existence.
Ever since you humored one of his paranormal rants, Dib refused to leave you alone!
Everywhere you turned you’d be greeted with his signature unnerving grin and a new flood of paranormal nonsense.
To make matters worse, Dib was convinced you were his ‘partner’ and would tell everyone that you were dating him.
The constant bullying aside, Dib’s delusions made it almost impossible for you to get an actual date with your crush, Zim.
Every time you even so much as looked at Zim, Dib was already trying to kill him with some crazy gadget.
The only reason Zim didn’t seem to hate you was that you were always nice to him.
Nevertheless, Hi skool was a living hell thanks to Dib’s antics!
However, once your popularity skyrocketed, it felt like the curse was lifted.
Anytime Dib even so much as breathed in your direction, he was met with an army of angry football players beating him to a pulp.
It felt so nice to finally be able to study in peace!
The only downside was that your new popular friends didn’t seem too keen on Zim.
They always found him strange long before they even met you.
You started to worry they would shun you if you even so much as says ‘hi’ to him.
As much as you loved Zim, you loved your newfound Dib-free skool life more.
However, you knew you couldn’t hide your feelings from Zim forever.
When the week of prom rolled by, your popular friend group was buzzing with gossip and excitement.
“So, Y/N! Like, Who are you going to prom with?”
The sound of Courtney’s, the group’s leader, cheerful squeals jolted you from your thoughts.
“Me? Well um...” You trailed off as you felt countless eyes bore into your forehead.
“Go on, Y/N! We’re besties! You can tell me anything!” Courtney pressed.
You started to sweat as you felt the pressure build and build.
Just as you opened your mouth to speak, something wonderful happened.
“Y/N-Human! Zim demands your attention!”
Normally you’d be melting at the sound of Zim’s voice but now your stomach felt like it was in knots.
“As you may know, the skool... prom... is right around the corner and a date is required in order to attend! From the moment I met you, you’ve proven yourself to be a trustworthy ally. Therefore, I am giving you the highest honor of being ZIM’S PROM PARTNER!!!! Now FEEL HONORED!!!” Zim sang dramatically.
For a moment, you felt like you were dreaming!
Your crush just asked you to prom! How could you refuse?!
You looked over to your bewildered friends for a moment.
On one hand you didn’t want to lose your new Dib-free skool life but on the other you just couldn’t pass up this opportunity!
With a deep breath you replied,
“Of course I’ll be your prom partner, Zim!”
Your friends gasped dramatically!
“Y/N! Don’t tell me you’re like actually gonna go to prom with that guy!” Courtney wailed.
“Well why not? I heard that...Um green skin gives you good luck on exams and stuff!” You spluttered as you rubbed the back of your head.
Courtney narrowed her eyes for a moment before perking back up.
“O-M-G! You’re so right! I remember reading that in the latest issue of Teen Queen magazine!”
You let out a sigh of relief.
The other popular kids murmured and nodded in agreement.
It seemed that your popular friends finally approved of Zim.
However you weren’t out of the woods just yet.
For Dib had overheard the entire exchange and was fuming with rage!
How could you take a vile alien monster to prom when your partner was right within earshot?!
And why did those popular pricks seem so ok with Zim all of the sudden?!
Dib was soon convinced that Zim had somehow brainwashed both you and your popular friends!
Yeah! That had to be the reason why you’d choose Zim over him right?
“Don’t worry, Y/N! I’ll free you from Zim’s tyranny! Then we can finally be together again! Just like old times!”
“Be quiet Dib!” Gaz snapped before turning back to her GameSlave.
For the rest of the week you couldn’t help but feel like you were being watched.
At first, you tried to brush it off but the sounds of heavy breathing grew harder and harder to ignore.
Things only got more unsettling as some of your new friends were starting to disappear without warning.
Normally your new friends would either be flexing or complaining if they were going somewhere!
They would never just vanish without at least one message in the group chat!
Soon even your football body guards seemed jumpy.
Whenever you asked them what was wrong-
“The beans....so many beans.......” was all they could say.
With your body guards incapacitated, Dib finally got the courage to continue his harassment.
Every hour of every day was filled with Dib’s endless whining about you shouldn’t go to the dance with Zim because he’s an evil alien or something.
The only things stopping you from going insane were Courtney and Zim.
Despite how nervous she seemed, Courtney still tried to stay positive and would talk about the limo she was renting for prom.
Despite Dib’s constant attempts to kill him, Zim seemed perfectly fine as well.
In fact, he even gave you a communicator watch so you could call him whenever Dib started bugging you.
Just the sound of Zim’s voice was enough to soothe your nerves.
Zim was even given permission to sit at the popular kids table with you.
You often got so engrossed in conversation with Zim that you never seemed to hear the sound of soft sobbing behind you.
Things finally reached their climax on Friday.
Just as you were about to leave skool, you felt a cold hand clamp over your mouth.
“Shh....It’s just me Y/N....I just want to talk to you with out those....assholes...getting in the way..”
You shuddered as you felt Dib’s hot breath on your ears.
Before you could fight him off, Dib dragged you behind a nearby dumpster.
You could’ve sworn you heard muffled screams and banging echoing from within the dumpster.
CLICK!
Dib slapped a pair of handcuffs onto your wrists with his free hand before carefully taking his other hand off your mouth.
“Now then....if you want me to let you go, you’ll need to cooperate, Y/N. I don’t want things to get ugly but I’ll do what I must to protect you.”
“What the hell-“
ZAP!
“Ow!!!”
“Oh! Did I forget to mention those are sound shock cuffs? You see whenever you speak above a whisper you get a little...zap! To remind you to keep your voice down!” Dib giggled as his eyes stared into your soul.
“What the hell is wrong with you?! Why do you always torment me, huh?” You hissed as you wriggled against your cuffs.
“Torment you?! I’m not Tormenting you! I’m trying to save you! I know Zim probably brainwashed you or something! Why else would you choose to go to dance with him over me, your one true love?” Dib ranted dramatically as he gestured to himself.
“You are not my one true-“
“Come to think if it, Zim might be the reason why those beef brained football players kept attacking me! It’s obvious he’s trying to separate us! I’m guessing it’s because he wants us isolated so he can turn us against each other! I’ve already installed a metal plate in my head so I’m safe from all forms of alien mind control! I’m just upset that he got to you before I could instal a plate in your head too!” Dib continued to rant, his voice sounding more unhinged with each word.
“What are you going on about? Zim isn’t-“
“But don’t worry, Y/N! I can set you free! Come back to my house with me! I can use my dads lab to purge your mind from whatever Zim did to you! Then I can install a metal plate in your head too! That way this will never ever happen again!” Dib declared as he held your cuffed hands.
“What?! No!-“
ZAP!
“Oww......”
“C’mon, Y/N! I know you’re still in there! Please don’t make me make you come with me by force!” Dib pleaded, a few tears forming in his eyes.
You were on the verge of tears yourself before an idea graced your mind.
“Fine. I’ll go with you. But I need to go back inside because I...forgot something in my locker!”
Dib let out a hum as his eyes narrowed.
“Alright then! I’ll walk you inside!”
Before you could protest, Dib linked his arms with yours and dragged you back to skool.
By the time you made it to your locker, you gave Dib the sweetest look you could muster.
“Hey, would you mind removing these cuffs? I need my hands free to open my locker.”
Dib felt his shriveled heart flutter a bit at your voice.
“Oh of course.”
CLICK!
“Thank you kindly..”
With your hands finally free, you opened your locker and-
SLAM!
-Slammed the door right into Dib’s face.
Wasting no time, you bolted towards the back exit and ran as fast as you could.
You darted out of skool and rushed into your local park.
You swerved and slithered, making it as difficult as possible to be followed.
Once you were certain Dib hadn’t followed you, you ran home and locked every door and window.
As Saturday rolled around, all seemed calm and quiet.
You decided to start getting ready for prom go calm your nerves.
You pulled out the prom outfit that Courtney had helped you pick out and smiled.
You had to admit, she had great taste!
You couldn’t help but giggle as you put your fancy new clothes on.
You looked fabulous to say the least!
You were so busy getting ready for prom that you had forgotten to charge your phone!
You decided not to worry about it. After all, it wasn’t like you needed your phone to dance with Zim.
Once you were finally ready-
HONK! HONK!
The sound of a loud limo honk encouraged you to come outside.
You locked the door behind you as you climbed into the limo.
“Haay! Bestie!! You look so fab!” Courtney cheered as she patted a seat next to her.
“Well I had a great shopping buddy!” You chuckled as you sat down.
“Oh you! Selfie time!” Courtney chirped as she pulled out her phone and snapped a picture.
You opened your mouth to speak but you were interrupted by Zim clearing his throat.
A few beads of pink sweat dripped down his temples as he stared at you in awe.
Never had he seen such a captivating human!
You were more stunning than ever!
Zim practically felt like he was in the presence of royalty as he shakily spoke,
“G-Greetings Y/N human! You are....so....stunning- I mean! You look good! Yes you look very good! A worthy prom date for Zim!”
You couldn’t help but giggle as you scooted closer to Zim.
“Why thank you sir!”
Soon the limo begun to drive to prom!
However, just as the limo got closer to skool, you noticed something running towards the window.
You let out a yelp as it drew closer.
“Y/N? You good?” Courtney asked sympathetically.
“N-no! Dib! Dib is chasing us!” Was all you could stutter as you pointed to the window.
“What? Y/N don’t be silly he can’t be- EEK! STEPHAN STEP ON IT! THERE’S A CREEP ON THE LOOSE!” Courtney shrieked as she saw Dib charging for the limo.
Unfortunately, Stephan wasn’t fast enough.
THUMP!
Dib latched on to the back of the limo and pressed his face against the window.
You, Courtney, and Zim screamed as you all clung to each other for dear life.
SMASH!!
Dib shattered the window and grabbed you by the legs.
You kicked and thrashed about as Zim and Courtney struggled to pry you free.
However neither of them were strong enough.
POP!
Dib yanked you away from your friends, scooped you up, and took off running.
“EEEEEEEK!! THAT CREEP HAS Y/N! STEPHAN! AFTER HIM!” Courtney commanded as she pointed to the shattered window.
Meanwhile you thrashed against Dib’s iron grip.
“Stop struggling, Y/N! Cant you see I’m doing this for your own- OW!”
WHAP!
You managed to punch Dib in the face, causing him to drop you.
PLOP!
You fell onto your rump but you quickly sprung to your feet and ran as fast as they could take you.
You felt the adrenaline charging through your veins as you could feel Dib catching up to you.
You darted through the park and took every winding path you could find.
Your legs burned and your breathing grew shorter but your adrenaline rush kept you going.
“Run! Run! Run! Gotta get away! Gotta get away!”
Was all you could think as you kept on running.
Eventually, you made it to skool!
Dib seemed to have faded away but you knew you weren’t out of the woods yet.
You burst into the skool and zipped down the halls.
You could hear Dib’s heavy breathing start to catch up to you as you frantically searched for a place to hide.
Your legs started to wobble as the adrenaline rush was slowly wearing off.
Just as you thought your body was about to give out, you spotted it,
“The janitor’s closet!”
Wasting no time, you burst through the door and locked yourself inside.
Your legs finally gave out, causing you to slide down to your rump.
You took a moment to catch your breath and slow your heartbeat.
You knew you weren’t completely safe but at least you had a place to rest.
Just as you were finally about to relax-
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
“Oh Y/N~ I know you’re in there!” Dib sang as he pounded on the door.
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
“All is forgiven, baby! Come on out of there! You’re my date to prom tonight!”
You broke into a cold sweat as you frantically pulled out your phone.

You screamed internally. Oh how you wished you had remembered to charge your phone!
“You chucked me out like was trash for that you should be dead! But, but, but! Then it hit me like a flash! What if hi skool went away instead?!”
Sweat poured down your face as you frantically tried to think of a way out.
“Those assholes are the key! They’re keeping you away from me! They made you blind! Messed up your mind! But I can set you free!” Dib imagined himself crushing Zim and your popular friends in his palm.
“You left me and I fell apart and cried BAM! BAM! BAM!” Dib banged on the door as he sang.
You jumped as you felt the door shake with each punch.
“Then I found you stole my heart and set loose all that truthful shit inside! And so I built a bomb! Tonight our school is Vietnam! Let’s guarantee they never see the rest of prom!” Dib was practically cackling as he held up a silver remote with a big red button.
You held back a gasp as you coveted your mouth.
“I was meant to be yours. We were meant to be one. Don’t give up on me now! Finish what we’ve begun! I was meant to be yours!” Dib’s voice softened.
For a moment Dib almost sounded romantic, however he quickly reverted back to his unhinged self.
“So when the hi skool gym goes BOOM! With everyone inside! Pew! Pew! Pew!” -Dib pretended to fire his finger guns into the air- “In the rubble of their tomb, we’ll plant this note explaining why they died!”
Dib cleared his throat as he pulled out a tattered piece of paper.
“We, the students of this skool, were fools. We closed our eyes and ears to the truth. There was an alien who turned us into slaves to his evil empire. Now we’ve expired, Signed the students of this skool! Goodbye!”
You felt sick to your stomach as Dib continued,
“We’ll watch the smoke pour out the doors! I brought marshmallows, we’ll make s’mores! We can smile and cuddle while the fire roars!” Dib hugged himself fir a moment before raising his hands to the sky.
“I was meant to be yours! We were meant to be one! I cant make it alone! Finish what we’ve begun!” Dib dramatically pressed his body against the door.
You felt the door shake as you clutched the sides of your head.
Luckily, you noticed the communicator watch Zim gave you.
Wasting no time you pressed the emergency call button.
“Y/N! You’re ok!” Zim cheered as he answered the call.
“Yes but I won’t be for much longer if you don’t keep your voice down.” You hissed as you gestured for Zim to lower his voice.
“Oh sorry,” Zim lowered his voice, “Can you tell me where you are?”
“I’m trapped in the skool janitors closet.”
“Say no more. I’m on my way.”
“Zim be care- ful” your voice trailed off as Zim cut the call.
Luckily, Dib was too caught up in his twisted musical number to overhear your call.
“You were meant to be mine! I am all that you need! You carved open my heart! You can’t just leave me to bleed!”
Dib put his hands over his chest before screaming out,
“Y/N! Open the-! Open the door please! Y/N! Open the door!”
You felt your heart pound in your chest as Dib continued,
“Y/N! Can we not fight anymore please? Can we not fight anymore?! Y/N I know you’re scared I’ve been there! I can set you free! Y/N Don’t make me come in there! I’m gonna count to three! One...”
You let out a gasp as you held back the urge to cry.
“Two... Fuck it!”
CRASH!
SMASH!!
Dib kicked down the door only to gasp in horror.
Zim and GIR had already came to your rescue!
“Quick, Y/N! Ride the dog!”
You didn’t need to be told twice! You were about to hop onto GIR’S back but a cold hand pulled you back.
“HELL NO! Y/N isn’t going anywhere with you! In case you haven’t heard, Y/N is my date to prom and my partner. Not yours! I won’t let you control them any longer! I’m going to save them-ACK!”
SMACK!
In the blink of an eye, your hand collided with Dib’s cheek as you finally freed it from his grip.
“SHUT THE FUCK UP, DIB!”
Dib let out a horrified gasp as he rubbed his sore cheek.
“I am so, so, so so done with your shit. All I ever did was have one conversation with you! Just one! Tell me Dib....How the hell does having one, single, measly conversation with you, make me your partner?” Your voice was sickly sweet but the flames of rage twinkled in your eyes.
“I-uh- well...You were interested so I assumed-“
“You assumed what?! That I was madly in love with you?!”
“Um...Yes?” Dib’s voice shrank as he backed away a bit.
Your left eye twitched as you grabbed Dib by the collar-
“Listen up, creep because I’m only gonna say this once. The only reason I chose to talk to you was because I was just trying to be polite. I never, never never ever had any romantic feelings for you whatsoever! You have made my life a living hell for years! I’m so fucking tired of your crazy ass rants and creepy stalking!”
Your eyes practically burned a hole through Dib’s soul as you continued,
“Get this through your big, thick, skull: I. Am. Not. Your. Partner! I will never be your partner! You’re nothing more than a delusional creep! Leave me, my friends, Zim, and this skool alone or I’m gonna.....I’m gonna do something!”
Dib’s lower lip quivered for a moment before morphing into a massive, terrifying grin.
Your eyes widened in shock as Dib started to giggle.
His giggle grew into a chuckle and the chuckle grew and grew until Dib burst into full on maniacal laughter.
“W-What’s so funny?!”
“You are, silly! I gotta admit, you really had me going there! For a minute I thought you actually meant all of that terrible stuff!” Dib wheezed as he gently caressed your hand.
“Are you kidding me?! I knew you were crazy but I didn’t think you were this stupid! I meant every fucking word, Dib! Every. Single. One” You growled as you slapped away his hand.
Dib simply burst into another fit of maniacal laughter.
“Ugh. You know what? Fuck this.”
THUMP!
You dropped Dib to the ground.
“You’re obviously too delusional to get the message.”
“Indeed. This is getting sad, Dib. Come Y/N! Let us leave this sad worm baby to his sad Y/N-less existence!” Zim agreed as he gestured for you to follow him.
However, you stayed put.
“As much as I would love to leave, Dib mentioned he built a bomb and-“
“EH?! THE DIB-MONKEY BUILT A BOMB?!”
“Yes! And he’s planning on using it tonight at prom-“
“WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ZIM THIS SOONER?! GIR! GET Y/N TO SAFTEY!! QUICKLY!!”
“YAY! SAFTEY!” GIR sang as he threw you onto his back.
“Zim! Don’t try to fight him your-Seeeelf!!!”
Your voice faded into the distance as GIR took off as fast as his rocket boosters could allow.
Dib’s maniacal laughing fit screeched to a halt as he watched GIR carry you off.
“No....Y/N....” Dib sunk to his knees and started to sob,
“Please don’t leave me alone...you were all I could trust....I can’t do this alone....”
Dib suddenly rose to his feet and shot Zim a fiery glare
“But I will if I must!”
With a loud war cry, Dib pounced onto Zim.
Meanwhile, you were panicking as GIR carried you off.
“GIR! You have to take me back! I need to defuse that bomb before it goes off!”
“I don’t wanna!” GIR whined.
You sighed and rubbed your temples.
“I’ll buy you a burrito if you bring me back to skool.”
“Oooh a giant burrito?”
“Yes, a giant burrito but you have to take me back to skooooool”
Within seconds GIR smashed back into skool.
CRASH!!
“Thanks GIR!”
And with that, you zipped inside and frantically began your search fir Dib’s bomb, with GIR trailing behind you.
Meanwhile-
WHUMP!
Dib pinned Zim to the ground and snarled,
“You will pay for taking Y/N away from me!”
WHAP!
“FOOL! Y/N was never yours to begin with!” Zim growled as he pushed Dib off of him.
THUMP!
Dib tumbled backwards onto his rump.
“Y/N has always despised your big, disgusting head! If anything, Y/N belongs to me, Zim! Not you-ACK!”
POW!
Dib’s fist slammed into Zim’s face, sending the poor alien flying out of the janitor’s closet.
“You take that back, space monster!”
Dib’s voice was ice cold as he loomed over Zim.
“Never!”
WHAM!
Zim kicked Dib right in the crotch as he sprung to his feet.
Dib let out a pathetic squeak as he doubled over in pain.
Zim let out a maniacal laugh as his PAK legs lifted him over Dib.
“Pitiful stink creature! Did you really think you would succeed in running Y/N’s precious life? Did you honestly think that I would even allow you anywhere near my beloved Y/N after all the trouble you’ve caused them?! I didn’t spend all summer turning those popular drones into Y/N’s body guards just for you to ruin it all with your horrible Dib-filth!”
Dib’s eyes nearly burst out of his glasses,
“You... You actually brainwashed the popular kids into being friends with Y/N?”
“Well not all of them. That Courtney human really seems to enjoy Y/N’s company so I left her alone.” Zim admitted casually.
“I was right! You were brainwashing the popular kids! I bet you brainwashed Y/N too didn’t you?!” Dib roared as he snapped a finger in Zim’s direction.
“Eh?! I would never do such a horrible thing to Y/N! I only brainwashed those popular drones so that they would protect Y/N from your disgusting Dib-filth! I can assure you that Y/N’s feelings for me are genuine. After all, who wouldn’t want to be Zim’s prom date?!” Zim giggled as he gestured to himself.
“YOU’RE LYING!” Dib roared as he lunged at Zim.
“Hey! You dare use one of Zim’s own lines- AUGH!”
BOOM!
Zim dove out of the way just in time for Dib’s face to kiss the wall behind him.
“Face it, Dib-monkey! Y/N is finally happy and I am not going to let you take that happiness away from them ever again! Now prepare to face your doom!” Zim growled as he towered over Dib.
Dib peeled himself off the wall and shook himself back to reality.
He then cracked a deranged smile and let out a crazed giggle.
His giggle grew and grew until Dib burst out in full maniacal laughter.
“Eh?! What are you laughing about?! You do realize you’re about to face your doom right?!” Zim snapped as he tilted his head in confusion.
“Oh I’m not gonna face any doom, Zim. The only ones about to face their doom are the students of this skool,” Dib’s voice quivered as he spoke.
“Eh?!”
“You see, I’ve realized that everyone at this skool is under your control! That’s why they never heed my warnings! That’s why they never believed me! It was all because of you. I don’t know what you did to them but whatever it was, it’s much too powerful for me to free them from it’s clutches! I can’t risk your infection reaching any more innocent people! So I have to destroy the infected! It’s the only way to prevent whatever you’ve done from getting any worse!” Dib rambled.
“Insolent fool boy! I only brainwashed the popular drones! The rest of this filthy skool is of no interest to Zim!”
“Oh good! Then I guess you won’t mind watching everyone explode into a bean-filled Armageddon!” Dib cackled as he pulled out his remote.
“Bean-filled Armageddon? What does any of this have to do with beans?”
“What’s the matter? Scared of B E A N S? Space boy?” Dib taunted, flashing his many many teeth.
“Scared?! Ridiculous! I just want to know what beans have to do with any of this!”
Zim knew that was a bit of a lie. He was kinda scared of what Dib planned to do with beans.
“You see, Zim. Since prom was taking place in the gym, I decided to set things up in the cafeteria. But I needed to be as discreet as possible. So I built a specialized burrito bomb! Once I push this button, every body and everything will succumb to a beany demise!
Oh, and don’t worry Zim, I know how much you love the idea of destroying humans. So I’m going to give you allll the credit!” Another crazed giggle escaped Dib’s throat as he gestured to his remote.
“No! The only one allowed to destroy any filthy humans is me, Zim! Not you! You’re so called ‘credit’ means nothing to Zim! Nothing!! So you can keep your pitiful credit and shove it up your-“
BEEP!
“Oopsie! Looks like my finger slipped!” Dib sang with another giggle, “I suppose I should thank you for having Y/N taken away from me. Sure I’d rather them be here to witness the carnage but at least I know they’ll be at a safe distance!”
However, nothing could’ve been further from the truth!
For you started to hear the sounds of a clock counting down.
“Oh no! It’s already starting!” You yelped as you followed the beeping countdown.
It didn’t take you long to find the sound coming from the cafeteria.
The moment you ran inside, you gasped in horror.
There, in the center of the cafeteria was a massive burrito!
The burrito had a countdown clock that seemed to be going faster by the second.
“Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! How am I gonna defuse this thing?!” You whimpered as you clutched the sides of your head.
In that moment, GIR’s eyes lit up.
“GIAAANT BURRRITO!!!!!!!!!”
Before you could stop him, GIR pounced onto the burrito and greedily devoured it, bomb and all.
“You better start running, Zim! My bomb will go off any second now-“
“BURRRRRP!!!”
“Huh?! What was that?!” Zim yelped.
“I don’t but I think it came from the cafeteria!” Dib cried out.
Before Zim could react, Dib zipped towards the cafeteria.
Dib burst into the cafeteria and let out a terrified screech.
In place of his burrito bomb was an extremely full GIR!
“What did you do to my burrito?!”
“I ate it all up!” GIR giggled with a hiccup.
“Game over, Dib! GIR ate your stupid burrito bomb thing! Now no one’s going to die tonight!” You announced triumphantly.
“Y-Y/N?! But how- Why- ACK!”
Zim shoved Dib aside and rushed to your side.
“Y/N-human! What are you doing back here?! Do you have any idea how much danger you put yourself in?!”
“I know it was risky but I couldn’t just let Dib blow everyone up! I had to try to diffuse the bomb! But it looks like GIR beat me to it,” You let out a half hearted chuckle as you gestured to the massively full GIR in the center of the cafeteria.
“Huh. So he did....Um... Good job GIR! Just as we planned!” Zim lied as he gave GIR a thumbs up.
You playfully shook your head but decided to let Zim have his victory.
“No....No...NOOOOOOO!!!!! THIS WASN’T HOW TONIGHT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO! I WAS GOING TO DESTROY THE SKOOL AND SAVE Y/N! BUT YOU HAD TO RUIN IT WITH YOUR STUPID ROBOT!” Dib shrieked as he started to foam at the mouth.
Just as Dib was about to attack Zim-
“There he is, officer! There’s the creep that kidnapped my friend!” Courtney announced as she pointed to Dib.
Before Dib could react, he found himself in cuffs with the police officer restraining him.
“Dib Membrane, you are under arrest for kidnapping and just being a creep!” The officer growled as he kept restraining Dib.
“You don’t understand! I was trying to save Y/N! And the rest of the world too!” Dib wailed as he thrashed against the officer.
“Tell it to the judge.” The officer grunted as he dragged Dib out of the cafeteria.
“This isn’t over! Once I’m free, I’ll make you pay Zim! You won’t get away with your reign if AAAAAA!”
ZAP!
The officer jammed his taser into Dib’s side as he continued to drag him away.
“Y/N! O-M-G! Are you ok?! Please tell me that creep didn’t like hurt you or anything!” Courtney sobbed as she pulled you into a tight hug.
“Don’t worry, Courtney I’m fine. I’m fine.” You reassured as you returned the hug.
“Oh thank god! I was like so worried! I almost ruined my make up!” Courtney whimpered as she released you.
“Don’t worry Courtney-human. I had rescued Y/N from the horrible Dib-Beast! I will ensure this never happens again! Never again!” Zim announced as he pointed to the ceiling.
“Oh thank you so so so so so so sooooooo much Zim! You know, I used to think you were like so weird but now, now I think you’re super cool! Thanks for saving my bestie!” Courtney squealed as she shook Zim’s hand.
“Yes, yes, Zim is a hero now release my hand.” Zim grunted.
Courtney did as she was told and turned back to you.
“Well now that all that crazy stuff is over, we better like get to prom now!”
“Right! You go ahead, Zim and I will catch up!” You insisted as you gave Zim a warm look.
“Okie doki! But don’t be too long!”
And with that, Courtney trotted off to the gym.
You turned to face Zim and gently caressed his face.
“Zim, I really can’t thank you enough for saving me.”
Zim let out a dopey giggle as he leaned into your touch.
“Allow me to express my gratitude,”
You gently pulled Zim into a passionate kiss.
Zims eyes widened before melting into the kiss.
In that moment, all memories of Dib seemed to fade away as the moonlight shown down upon you and Zim like a spotlight.
Eventually both you and Zim had to part for air.
“You’re my hero, Zim.”

Makoto isn’t one to fall asleep easily. everything about the whole killing game has him very shaken, so his sleep schedule is, to put it nicely, all over the place.
it'll be a while before you're able to relax with him in his room, or let him go into yours. after all, he's still not too keen on having anyone in his room after Sayaka. you both hang out in other places, like the sauna or the game room.
he trusts you a lot, despite him being hesitant to have you in his room(which you don't mind, it'd understandable). your main hang-out place is the game room, as there are couches there to lay/sit on.
Makoto is very enthusiastic about your voice. whatever your talent is, he'll boast about your singing voice to others even if your Ultimate doesn't revolve around it(if you're comfortable with it, of course!).
hearing you sing for him, or even hum little songs is very endearing. he finds it cute and loves to hear it. it calms him down and helps him think straight, even when he's in a short/mild panic.
you invite him to lay on your leg/lap, as he's simply more comfortable that way. he likes to be babied, and caressing his head, petting/playing with his hair, or gently scratching his head while you lull him to sleep always succeeds in having him take a small nap. (or a well-deserved rest!)
the amount of times you both have fallen asleep in there... :D
when you're finally able to enter his room, he's a lot more relaxed and comfortable around you-- not that he wasn't before, but it's a frenzy of who to trust and who to not.
he likes to cuddle with you on his bed while you sing him a song. you're one of the reasons why his sleeping schedule has changed so much(for the better).
back to your voice again-- he literally adores it. he loves it so much!! whether it's on the deeper or higher side, you never fail to serenade him. always appreciates your voice and the effort you put into your singing for him.
if your voice cracks, he laughs about it. he's not making fun of you, but he finds it adorable and loves it a lot! if you hit high notes and get excited about it, he celebrates with you!
cares for you a lot, and you singing him to sleep has made him feel so much more safe in the school.

let's be honest, his sleeping schedule is fucked up but on purpose.
Nagito may be awake scheming something suspicious, or just laying on his bed. maybe he even reads a few books or has hobbies he does before sleeping!
whatever it is, he doesn't sleep well.
despite a whole killing game going on, he invites you to his cottage daily.
the first time you offer singing him to sleep, he definitely goes on his self-degrading rants about himself. how he doesn't deserve such kindness, that his sleeping habits are only a result of his own negligence and that you shouldn't have to care for trash like him.
you do it anyway because we don't like that kind of talk on this blog!!
probably cries when you first sing to him. it's just so calming and he feels so safe for the first time in a long, long time.
the fact that you're here with him, caring for him enough to help him sleep-- to use something you probably haven't shown anyone else but him--he feels right at home.
after your first visit, he probably goes to the restaurant in the hotel and says something like,
"oh, [Y/n]! i've been waiting for you to show up. you know, you're always welcome in my cottage like last night. so if you want to do what we did in there again... i wouldn't mind."
everyone would probably get the wrong idea because of the way he put it, but you're really just singing him to sleep. </3
he just leaves the restaurant after eating his breakfast.
everyone flocks to you, asking what happened last night between you and Nagito.
whether or not you share that you sang him to sleep is up to you! if you decide to share your hidden talent, let's just say Nagito would be just a little jealous..
it was his fault for bringing it up in the first place... but he knows better, because every night you sing him to sleep, not them.
he thinks of himself so lucky to even have the privilege.
he likes going into your cottage more, you singing while he breathes in your smell is calming x100. when you allow him in, he lays on your bed and asks you to sing for him(with cuddles, of course).
he likes it when your voice does a vibrato or hits high notes. it's pleasing to him and he just generally enjoys it.
i feel like Nagito would prefer higher voices more than lower voices. but despite his preference, no matter your vocal range, he just appreciates you singing to him.
to have the privilege of an Ultimate singing to him... he really is a lucky guy, isn't he?

sleeping schedule? what's that?
i doubt this man has a sleeping schedule either-- i mean, look at him when he made Minimaru.. he stayed up all night to make the tiny robot.
because of his Ultimate(and random brain surges of ideas in the middle of the night), when he sleeps is everywhere.
literally ranges from 10pm to all nighters. sometimes he's even up for days.
you're often invited into his cottage to help him make/fix his creations. you usually fall asleep when he's half-done with what he said he'd finish, then go to sleep(like, "i'll go to bed after i finish this part" kind of stuff).
you have to constantly remind him to sleep before you do-- and it's not until you've had enough that you drag him on to his bed and sing him a little lullaby.
it literally works, like, super fast.
almost scarily fast--
you're only 20-30 seconds in to the lullaby and he's already dozing off and falling asleep.
you only sang one lullaby, but he's out like a light. pinch him, open his eyes, blow into his ear-- no reactions. at all.
he probably forgets what happened the next morning. you're not there with him, and he's asleep on his bed with no memory of getting there.
what did his best man do to him..?
he asks you later once you both have free time, and you just straight up tell him,
"your sleeping habits are terrible, so i just-- thought singing you to sleep would work. it obviously did if you're looking better than you did last night."
yeah, btw he feels so refreshed, there's like no reason for it.
definitely asks you to sing him to sleep again. he's never felt so relaxed and clear-minded before! he feels like he can do anything!
as always, you both are at his cottage. you and Kaz have never shared a bed before, but once you start serenading him to sleep, you and him definitely snuggle together.
Kaz would also probably have a preference for higher voices. but like i said, no matter your vocal range, he's in love with your voice.
he just finds the fact that you want to sing for him at all so lovely. he appreciates it a lot that you'd go this far for him, and it's literally love-at-second-ish-serenade.
doesn't share that you have an amazing voice!! he wants to keep that to himself, because he's a little selfish.
he feels like this is the only connection you two really have, so exposing it to everyone would make him feel really sad. :(
but it's way more than just that, obviously!!
you're the only reason why Kaz would have a sleep schedule in the first place. relies on you to put him to bed or give him a small nap.
and you help him out so much-- not just with sleeping, but with his projects too.

Okay I'm ready. I'm the anon from yesterday who lost a whole ass rant. I'm ready to do it again(I'm typing this is the notes app first!!)
So I follow quite few Larry blogs that I love and respect cause they never give any shit about the stunts and defend Harry and louis so fiercely. I really like them for that. But lately they've been getting anon asks about ziam and idk why would people do that?? Like we'd make it very clear if we are ziams. Super crystal clear cause there are few of us(compared to the whole of directioner fandom). Honestly these blogs replied quite civilly like "I don't have any opinion about ziam cause I don't follow them closely" and such which is mature and good. But sometimes after numerous asks things do get heated and they let slip a sentence or two that really hurts. Like someone said the name ziammies is a fucking joke and I know we don't like it either and we'd prefer ziams. But it is so much more different when someone who doesn't believe zayn and Liam say that. And someone else listed all the things that make people believe in Larry and told that for ziam they only know about Zayn posting a selfie with a filter and both of them going blonde after a breakup(?)
It hurts my heart cause there's so much more than that. The casual soft reverent touches. Sharing orange eye ring that Zayn recreated in his like I would mv. Wearing brands that are associated with each other. Zayn fucking tatooing Liam's single cover waaaay before it got announced. Zayn literally having Liam's name and face tatooed on him. The almost kisses. The definite kiss on that dark stage that louis had to transform into on-the-spot cuddle. Eyebrow slits even after all these years. Family's support of the other boys. How they almost let it slip that they got a dog together in 1D day. One missing feather in zayns wing that is conveniently tattooed in Liam's arm with the words I figured it out curling around it. Which are the words to the song you & i which is point blank ziam anthem. It was the only song confirmed by Liam to be played before he let other 1D songs to be chosen by fans to be played at his online gig.
I don't need anyone to validate the "realness" of ziam. They are screaming enough. I'm hearing enough. But I can't tell all these to those blogs cause that bridge is burned and any talk about ziam is soured.
And I can't help but notice this. This is not comparing. I'm a larrie and a ziam. More people recognise Louis' babygate cause it happened with a nobody and people were screaming about his closet. Zayn's happened with a well known model who has a fanbase of her own so she can get away with not showing the baby's face(she "accidentally" revealed it anyway). Jungle family has only he-looks-like-louis-card so they overuse it. Posting baby's pics with ads? Check on both sides. Family members using the baby to promote their life? Check on both sides. Supposed baby mamas posting pics of the baby which gets far more likes than their regular posts? Check on both sides. Zayn likes louis' father announcement post(he rarely likes the boys' pics) and 4 years later louis goes out of his way to like zayns father announcement pic when zouis has never interacted once in those 4 years and there's beef between them?? And that's normal? That's not louis hinting at something amiss with the baby?? That's not enough proof to know that this is babygate 3.0? Liam's is more of a backburner babygate but it's still there. Like he has a baby with reclusive Cheryl and conveniently has one shit Polaroid pic and then bam. She just posts the baby's voice and stuff and that's done?? The common thing btw Liam and Zayn is that they know shit about babies. Liam telling his son can talk good when he was one??? Zayn telling it's really easy to be with a newborn baby?? Sure Jan. This irks me really. Anyway this is my loong looooong rant and I hope this finds you safe :)

I share all of your frustrations, but you can't help people that don't want it, unfortunately, but at least then it's no longer your problem!
Just know that you're not crazy for holding differing beliefs, and you have a legitimate reason to do so. You'll learn that there's no point in having these discussions with people who don't want to listen, and save your time for things you actually love to do!

my col got over very quickly, only lasted like a day and a half thankfully, mask mandates haven't been lifted here actually and i think what i got sick with was not sleeping well enough, letting night dew fall on me (idk if that's a thing outside here but they say that can make one sick) and then spending the rest of the day in the sun bc of a class, also im thankful the cold didnt last long bc i absolutely hate drinking warm water, maybe it's bc im from the coast and it's always hot as balls so i always drink ice water but i seriously hate drinking warm water and i know drinking cold water is bad when one's sick but that's one thing im completely childish about and cannot bring myself to do (sorry for the rant lmao)
camping was really so hilarious, i feel kinda bad for seri bc taesung could not care less about her in that way, taesung on the other hand has his plan working, haebom may not know that taesung is trying to hit on him, but he's falling anyway and re the firewood scene, i do agree <33

its not exactly a sequel its more just inspired by(they have the same actors) i havent watched it but its a hindi remake of the tamil film that i have watched(its basically about a guy trying to find solutions for his erectile dysfunction.yes you did read that correctly) . theyre both thematically very different movies with no context dependent on e/o so you dont need to watch but if you wanted to i did hear it was p good.
