Tadaima, Okaeri! Ep 3 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Masaki was sick (he was in heat) and so couldn’t care for Hikari. With the help of their tsundere neighbor, Yuki, Hiroumu and their other friend were able to care for and distract Hikari while Masaki was ill. It was adorable as any other episode, with a focus on Yuki becoming  Hikari’s first friend.
Feels super inappropriate to call your son’s partner sexy. I will just roll with the social rules of the world.
Interesting. I guess Hikari is also an alpha since the grandfather is responding to his protectiveness.
We have interesting drama building here. Masaki is maybe feeling some sympathy for the grandfather, but Hiromu is mad that his father is overstepping again.
The way Masaki and Hiromu talk to each other is great. I like that Hiromu doesn’t attempt to mask with Masaki and that they solve their problems together. I like that Hiromu’s tendency to making a firm decision doesn’t come at the cost of Masaki’s ability to give his own thoughts or guidance about how they proceed.
I really like the way Hiromu talks to Hikari. I like that he instills purpose and direction into his son in a lot of their conversations. I get that it’s a genre thing for him to do so, but every kid I ever taught seemed to thrive when they had a role to fulfill.
This is actually a compelling fight they’re having. The grandfather is here to try to reconcile and show that he’s come around on the relationship, but the way he’s communicating it still implies his prejudice. Hiromu refuses to compromise about this.
Aw, Yuki loves them!
Not the omegaverse parents show making me cry over an apology!
Okay, the grandpa bursting into tears at being acknowledged by his grandson and family got me, too.
Matsu on the verge of tears in the background because he took a good family photo, and now feels like a real uncle, is so real.
I continue to adore how much PDA these guys do.
This show really is an excellent example of what gay slice-of-life could be for us. I feel like folks would get bored with this in live action because this amount of sweetness doesn’t hold for long always, but I’m having a blast with this. This is probably my favorite show right now.

Hi! I would like to request a Headcanon of the sextuplets, DaddyMatsu please! , something fluff/Funny where the children of the sextuplets find their Dad old sweaters (You Know with The Matsu Simbol) and put them on because they seemed comfortable, and when the S/O of the matsus sees her Son/Daughter she can't help but say something like "Awww my baby look like her/His Dad! so cute!" and the son/daughter, to play along with his/her mother, does or says some action or word typical of his/her father, imitating him.
(Sorry if it was not understood or if it is too much, I was really excited about something like this)
Have a Good Morning/Afternoon/Night!
wahhh this request was so cute, tysm for submitting! also sorry this is my first time writing for most of the brothers (i mainly wrote for Choro in highschool loll)

Osomatsu: A little chip off the old block, that’s what Osomatsu’s son was. The little rascal was digging through one of the many closets in his home when he found the red sweater his dad wore for so many years back then. “Whatcha got there kiddo?” The young boy looked behind him as he saw his dad leaning against the open door frame of the closet, smiling warmly down at him. The little boy had his father's hoodie on over his small frame, his smile reminiscent of his father. Osomatsu’s s/o walked into the cute sight, sighing as they laughed softly. “It’s like I’m seeing doubles. You look just like your father.” Just then, their son rubbed the top of their lip with their index finger, “Ha ha! That’s my boy!”  Karamatsu:  His heart swelled with affection and pride when his little girl found his old blue sweater while looking through some old boxes in the living room, her small hands picking the large lump of fabric up and grunting up at her daddy. “Oh my little dove, you want to wear it?” His oh-so-smart girl nodded her head, she was growing so fast. He chuckled and complied, putting the hoodie over her head and draping it over her tiny form. “So cute!” Karamatsu heard from behind him as his s/o walked into the room, their eyes glued to their daughter. “She looks just like you hon.” He smiled and nodded, “Although, it’s missing something dear.” Karamatsu then dug through another box, pulling out an old pair of sunglasses and put them on his daughter, smiling as they were too big for her and ended up being lop-sided on her head, earning a few giggles from the toddler. “There, now she’s perfect. Although, my little darling was always perfect.” Choromatsu: Choromatsu about died when his toddler daughter walked into the room, wearing his old mint green hoodie from back in the day. The hoodie was too big for her, dragging across the floor as she tried to walk around in it. He smiled as she waddled up to him, holding her arms out to him as she smiled. She was definitely his little girl, triangular-type smile and all. He, of course, took her into his arms as his s/o walked into the room, handing their baby off to them as they smiled. “She looks so much like you,” They remarked, “So cute!”. The adorable moment was interrupted by the little girl shouting, “Fappymatsu!” with a heap of giggles. “WHO TAUGHT HER THAT?!” Ichimatsu: Oh, he felt like he was going to throw up. Not because he was disgusted or anything, far from it. He was overflowing with pride and joy, a bit too much for his liking and body to handle. He’s definitely not used to these feelings, he’s been feeling it so much lately but he’s willing to put up with it to see his little girl happy and thriving. The sweater, which was way too big for the small toddler, was draped across her body as she walked around the house; pretending she was her father, even messing up her hair and slouching a bit. Ichimatsu thought he had locked the old ratted piece of garbage up in the attic but apparently not. His s/o watched from the couch as they laughed, “She looks just like you!” Just then, his daughter brought her fists up to her face and did a signature cat pose. Ok, now he’s really gonna throw up. Jyushimatsu: Jyushimatsu had walked into an interesting sight, his young son had found his old yellow hoodie in the pile of laundry in the laundry room. He let out his signature laugh as he picked his son up, spinning him around as the pair of them giggled and laughed. “Ha ha! You look just like me!” Just then, his s/o walked up with a basket of laundry and laughed alongside them, “How cute Jyushi, it’s like a mini you!”  The young boy shouted “Hustle hustle! Muscle muscle!” He had heard his father's signature catchphrase before from him shouting it throughout the house. Jyushi let out another laugh, “Yeah, that’s right! Hustle hustle! Muscle muscle!”
Todomatsu:  Where was his phone, he needs to find it right now. His little girl had somehow pulled his old pink hoodie off of one of the hangers in the closet as she walked around the house, trying not to trip and fall over the long fabric. Todomatsu scrambled off the couch as he searched for his phone, “Stupid thing! It’s too small, I need to upgrade that piece of shit.” “Mind your language hon.” He looked behind him to see his s/o holding his phone, already taking pictures of their daughter. Totty smiled as he kissed his s/o on the cheek and took his phone back, already taking more pictures. “So cute, she looks just like you!” They proclaimed, just then his daughter pretended to take pictures with her own pretend phone just like her daddy. Time to switch to video!

I just had a terrible idea for a roleswap between my four fav dn characters so here we go
Lawliet "L" Wammy (age: 18)
A brilliant student but a bit of a shut-in
Spends all his time either in school or locked in his room on the computer
True Crime fan before it was cool
His father Quillsh is proud of his impressive grades but really wishes he'd go out more
A bored Shinigami (maybe Ryuk? idk about swapping the Shinigami) directly hands L a Death Note because they thought he'd have fun with it.
L immediately uses it and his detective skills (along with his connections online) to solve cold cases.
"Light" (age: 24)
Real name: Tsuki Yagami
A mysterious, faceless detective who works alongside his mentor "Asahi" to solve cases that seem fun.
"I am the Light that will purge Kira's darkness! I am Justice!"
^^Total drama queen. The maniacal laughter with his voice modifier is just *chef's kiss*
Has no problems with using criminals to get results, but Asahi will often call him out on his more questionable choices.
Officer Misa Amane (age: 23)
During the Kira case, her alias is Misaki Anai
Just recently hired on the NPA
Often gets sent to fetch people coffee, much to her dismay
Wants to protect innocent people, but is unsure about her stance on Kira most of the time
Works on the Kira Task Force alongside Light and the other NPA officers
(Maybe Aizawa's the chief in this timeline? Idk about putting Quillsh on the NPA, it might be more fun to see how Kira would operate without that inside info)
Pretends to be Matsu-Matsu's manager to keep an eye on him
(She has way too much fun with the manager gig and hates having to pass it off to Mogi later. Or maybe she's a lot sneakier during the Yotsuba arc. idk)
Touta "Matsu-Matsu" Matsuda (age: 22)
Not-so-successful model (but he's having fun with it)
After finding a dropped Death Note and reading the rules, he figures out that Kira must have one too
He uses secret messages to find Kira on a Kira fansite
The two of them try to crack cases and go after criminals together
I'm still debating if Matsu gets the Shinigami Eyes. If he thinks it's the only way he can be useful to Kira he might do the trade. But also I want him to live so 😭😭
He's a pretty good cover for L once the two of them meet in person- L can pretend that he's made a friend in school to keep his father off his back

Dude, I need some funny daddymatsu stuff:
It’s the middle of the night, matsu and his wife are on the couch. She’s on his lap, grinding against him and making out with him. She’s starts kissing his neck and when Matsu moves his head to give her more access…..he’s sees his kid at the door, staring and says “Mommy, what are you doing to daddy??”
How does each Matsu daddy react????
LMAO OH NOOOOOO
Osomatsu definitely will leave his wife hanging. He either won’t say anything so that she has to awkwardly try to explain herself (the go to being that she and daddy were doing a “special hug”) OR he just looks at his wife with this smug, dumb grin and goes “Yeah, mommy, what are you doing?”
Karamatsu is so embarrassed right now, but he to gently set his wife aside so he can ask what’s wrong. He shifts from flustered (but interested) husband to concerned father right away so he busies himself with figuring out why his child is awake and how he can put them back to bed (and possibly finish what she started after~).
Choromatsu freezes. Just…does not move at all. His line of thought here is if he doesn’t move, his kid will think he was just seeing things. That and he cannot bear to look at his child right now while engaging in some sort of intimacy with his partner - it might actually kill him. His wife will have to take the lead here and put their child back to bed - because he will literally stay frozen until he knows his child is back in their room.
Ichimatsu will YEET his wife off of him in an attempt to hide whatever they were doing just prior. In a very nervous sweat he’ll run to his kid, asking them why they’re awake and if they’re okay. When he figures out the reason, he’ll do his fatherly duty and assist putting his child back to bed. He spends the rest of the night apologizing and icing his poor wife’s body because of he hard he threw her.
Jyushimatsu will just GET UP with her on him and take care of his now awake child. His gentle demeanor is very polar opposite to his terrified wife who was not expecting to be lifted off the ground. Their kid finds it funny though and forgets all about the question they just asked because of how ‘Mommy is clinging to Daddy like a koala’. Probably the least awkward way to handle things, even though his wife had to cling to him for dear life.
Todomatsu screams. And then his wife screams. They shove each other apart and try not to freak out over the very inappropriate display they just put on in front of their child. Eventually Todomatsu remembers how to be a parent and makes his go way his kid to tuck them back in. He and his wife opt to take things to their bedroom but not before he and his wine share a little bit of wine to ease the sheer heart attack they both almost had.

Unichi Hiratsuka (1895–1997), born in Matsue, Shimane, was a Japanese woodblock printmaker. He was one of the prominent leaders of the sōsaku hanga ("creative print") movement in 20th century Japan.
Hiratsuka's father was a shrine carpenter, and his grandfather was an architect who designed houses and temples. Therefore, the artist was introduced to wood-working and architecture early in his life.
Hiratsuka was the best–trained woodcarver in the sōsaku hanga movement. From 1928 onwards he taught the renowned sōsaku hanga artist Shikō Munakata (1903–1975) wood carving. The same year he joined with seven other like-minded artists to work on the 100 Views of New Tokyo series, to which he contributed twelve prints; his prints were lauded for their "technical beauty and perfection."[1] Between 1935 and 1944 Hiratsuka taught the first blockprinting course at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts.
He moved to Washington D.C. in 1962 and spent thirty three years in the United States. While living in Washington DC, he was commissioned by three standing Presidents to carve woodblock prints of National Landmarks, which included the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and Library of Congress which are in the collections of The National Gallery and Freer Gallery today. He ultimately returned to Japan in 1994.

hello , everyone !! i'm norb ( he / they , pst ) super excited to bring in my disaster daughter chisato ! her pages ( besides her profile ) are a work in progress for a moment , which i'll update here later , but i'll have the general gist under the cut. please drop a like and i'll hop into your ims to plot !
background:
born and raised in tokyo as the youngest ( by all of 15 minutes ! ) member of a family of 5.
her father is a salaryman and her mother a housewife. her brother is older by four years and she is a fraternal ( though many people mistake them for identical ) twin.
growing up , she was always overshadowed by her older siblings whom her parents always praised for their academic achievements. chisato was never an awful student by any means , nor a homebody by any means , but her siblings were just a tad more impressive and therefore more worthy of investment to her parents.
thus , she turned to fandom to cope ⸻ first it started with the usual , manga and anime , dramas and movies. sometime in the mid-2010s , she discovered b.e.t. , and that from that day on , she was hooked.
a burgeoning parasocial relationship mixed with being seldom regarded in the household as anything other than just someone 'there' led to a desperate desire to be noticed. her family didn't really take her fixations seriously , it was more or less something they thought she'd grow out of.
college admissions come around , and her sister matsu announces she's been accepted to kyodai to study history to much applause and 'ah , we thought so's. when it's chisato's turn , she declares she's going to study advertising and marketing in seoul ⸻ this is regarded with genuine surprise , but then the topic quickly fizzles when her brother daiki announces he's been accepted to a clinical internship the following year.
what began as a bid for attention then turns into a ball of spite where she decides that the only way she can remain a trending topic at the dining table is by being a trending topic worldwide ⸻ hence , her journey to become an idol.
it's a dream she's been steadily plunking her way through the last few years as she's been in seoul , making use of her marketing education ( and especially her focus in public relations ) to examine the idol market and see what makes people tick. the only real obstacle here is ... having the talent to make it. she's operating under the belief ( delusion ) that being complimented at karaoke is enough to make it in the industry.
her heart is set on studio delta both because it's home to her ult group and also because of the prestige that comes with its 'self - made' reputation ( despite not possessing skills in either composition or lyricism , believing these things can be easily learned. ) it's only a matter of time before she falls flat and her face and admits she might find a better home elsewhere.
as it's been slow going for her , she's picked up a side hustle as a nail tech to make ends meet. but she's certain that this year , as her education's winding down to a close , is going to be her year !
plot ideas:
favorite customer and/or guinea pig customer she tests new designs on !
foreigner buddies and/or language study buddies !
you get the sense that she's fame - hungry. while not malicious , there's something off-putting about how desperately she's trying to make it big.
fellow nerds whom she can either ' um , actually ' her way into annoying or who are on the same wavelength as her
flirtationships she would've fueled up until something almost happened because she chickened out ( and her only relationship experience is holding hands with another 5 year - old on the playground when she was a little kid )
mentors whom she's hoping to round out her skills with ! maybe in exchange for some tutelage of her own , either in japanese or any image - making tips she's picked up through her degree
older sibling figures she'd have gravitated to. she misses being the baby of a family

ok youkai au lore time :3
so since i’m merging denki and youkai together, ill explain the part where denki is first
so afawk, chorosuke/choro inherited/took over his fathers house in the village near akatsuka and makes flower arrangements, hoping for his sister to marry into a good family.
ghost lives in either the same or a little bit away from the village. they have the last name kuriirota
they live with their older sibling/siblings (havent decided between just one or all three) and run a family business based around making kasuri, japanese fabrics/silks. they often supply the fabric and pre-made clothes for people in the village, and they’re well known for their efficiency.
ghost and choro meet when he commissions the business for yukatas and clothing for the upcoming tanabata festival. ghost immediately takes interest, wanting to know about chorosuke. they do get closer, but if anything the feelings are one sided and unreciprocated for a while.
it starts to pick up after chorosuke and his brothers find out theyre all related, and that something bad is happening between them. it’s around the same time as the festival begins, and they decide to keep it secret for now. this is around the point they see their respective youkai motifs everywhere, no matter where they look.
chorosuke accompanies ghost to the tengu’s shrine for the first time, and it takes a while for them to walk up the mountain to get to it. chorosuke asks whats the point if its only for one wish, and ghost says it’s a wish they’ve made for years. when asked what the wish was, ghost does not answer.
there’s some deep moment between the two here, and its where choro finds out ghost is in a similar position as his sister is, trying to marry off and find a partner but turning up with nothing as each affair comes and goes. he doesn’t know why, but he felt a compulsion to help them in his chest, hinting at the tengu’s considerate and aiding nature.
the next night after the festival/the same night the festival ends, chorosuke goes back up the mountain to read ghost’s wish, only to find it already gone from the shrines statue.
further along the story (and where the brothers realize their youkai powers and cause a fuss in the village), ghost does eventually find out about the news with the matsuno family. they go to meet him to give him support, but they’re turned away for the time being. they were going to tell him how they felt of him.
fast forward a few weeks, and now the village is in uproar of the possibility of having not one, but six youkais in their village. they start pushing the idea of exile for the matsus, putting up talismans and protections from the matsus either by the matsus house or their own. come the 100 demon festival, they are in full-swing uproar and are actively pushing the brothers out, now havingh accepted their youkai counterparts.
ghost watches the matsus exile, and choro spares them one glance before heading to the realm of youkai. it almost breaks his heart, considering he had been getting close to them. he wouldn’t be able to think about them for a whole after that, having to get used to youkai life now, and only being granted one day of the year to return to the human realm, being hyakki yagyo.
ghost would mourn for a while after this, resulting in them taking time off from the kusari robes they have to make, backing up business quite a bit. their sisters worry about them, having been holed up in their room for weeks, only coming out at night or early in the morning to rise.
come the next tanabata festival, ghost is finally seen outside their home, going out to deliver their wish to the tengu shrine. he senses that someone is at the shrine, and flies over from a pocket dimension to see who it is. when he recognizes who it is, he gets a familiar feeling in his chest, and he has no idea why his cheeks are burning up.
they look so familiar. and he has a good feeling about what they are wishing for.

I think I talked about it before with Shi, but there is actually a good reason why Basaraverse Megohime holds off childbearing for a while in her early 20s (she's around 18-20 at the start of the series… basically just put her a few months to a year below Masamune) If you look at onscreen couples in SB, none of them are depicted having a child, even couples who have been married for longer like Matsu and Toshiie (I assume Oichi and Nagamasa haven't been married for that long?) has no children shown on screen. With how chaotic their universe works, it's safe to assume that having a child would be one of the last priorities a ruler could have before they finally settle for real. Marriage to secure alliance and potential future heirs is one thing, but childbearing is another thing that requires a good amount of commitment. When Masamune is out on a campaign, she often stays behind in Oshu as the temporary castellan of Aoba Castle, so rearing a child would surely take most of her attention away from what she's currently doing (yes, the domestic job as a castellan is not as easy as it looks) and it would be even riskier when the territory is suddenly under attack. Of course, with how often the army march out from Oshu, the child would also not see his/her father often and Megohime doesn't want the child to cultivate a fatherless behavior (hdjdkslsl idk how to word it) since young. Well... in the end, whenever they want to have a child is up to him as the clan leader, and Megohime would have to be ready for it in any moment. I can totally imagine her saying that very last line while blushing and looking away, LOL.

My 5 Favorite Legal J-Dramas
I love them because they have perfect balance of seriousness and humour, not too dark and not too comedic. And the chemistry of the main leads are fun to watch with their constant bickering. 😂
1. Hero (2001)
Tumblr media
Kuryu (Kimura Takuya) is an unconventional prosecutor who has a habit of investigating the criminals himself before prosecuting, which agitates his paralegal, Amamiya (Matsu Takako) has it delays the process while more cases are piling up, and often conflicts with the police who thinks he does not trust their investigation skills.
The series is so good that it has a second season with a newcomer played by Keiko Kitagawa, a special episode with Haruka Ayase and a movie with both Keiko Kitagawa and Matsu Takako. I like their chemistry, not just between the main leads but the supporting characters as well that got pulled into Kimura Takuya's shenanigans.
2. Miss Justice (2018)
Tumblr media
A similar tale of a public prosecutor, Ririko (Yoshitaka Yuriko) whose strong sense of justice get in her daily work as she takes time to solve each cases diligently, playing the role of a "detective" to ascertain that the suspects are really guilty before she prosecutes them. However, it only delays her other cases which snowballs.
This agitates her older and experienced paralegal (Yasuda Ken) who is tasked to ensure she completes each task on time without delay. But over time, both him and the entire department who got pulled into her shenanigans finally understands her reasoning and begin to respect her as a fellow prosecutor and not as a newbie.
3. Police and Prosecutor (2023)
Tumblr media
Gota (Kiritani Kenta) and Minami (Higa Manami) are siblings who work as a law enforcer and a paralegal respectively. She works for an ambitious public prosecutor, Shuhei (Higashide Masahiro) whose values and principles are opposite of Gota, which often puts them at odds with one another when they work together on every case.
While Minami and Shuhei know the grey world in their line of work, Gota is a brash detective who only sees thing in black and white which often puts them at odds with one another. But their opposing personalities and styles of work eventually help to solve the cases in arresting and prosecuting the right criminal.
4. Ishiko and Haneo (2022)
Tumblr media
Ishiko (Kasumi Arimura) is an obstinate law graduate who aspired to be a lawyer but after failing the bar four times, she gives up her dreams and works as a paralegal at her father's private law firm where she met the prodigy Haneo (Nakamura Tomoya) who passed the bar on first attempt due to his photographic memory.
Ishiko is a bit insecure in having to work with a prodigy while Haneo is actually terrible at adapting that he often mask it with his "superior intellectual". Their different personalities and styles of working contradict each other as the two of them, with their own inferiority complexes, are thrown together to solve cases.
5. Binta : Love and Law (2022)
Tumblr media
Minowa (Matsumoto Toshio) is a former delinquent who doesn't have a regular job and never really thought seriously about life until he had to look after his young step-sister left behind by his late father. He lands a job as clerk, working for a strong headed lawyer, Natsumi (Yamaguchi Sayaka) who is dumbfounded by his "stupidity".
But his strong sense of justice is a welcoming change that she needed having work in a corporate law firm surrounded by "vultures" that the two decided to start their own private firm to genuinely help people that really need help and not simply for the big money. But with each case, they realize things are not as simple as they think.

L and Matsuda for 002?
-🎲
THANK YOU 🎲 ANON!!
How I feel about L: hhhhh sigh. hhh. sighhhshhshsiigggh. honestly? he's kind of like my favourite jumper. he's my number one comfort character ever and I came very close to crying in bed for days after he died. i am not 'typical about this man.
How I feel about Matsuda: he's such a cutie!! teehee!!! look at this silly fella who probably cuts his own hair!! giggling and kicking my feet cause he's funny and silly and would be a good friend doncha think?
All the people I ship romantically with L: Matsuda, Misa, Rie, other people's OCs (if they're shipped with him by their creator xD). Light deserves a mention because while I don't ship LawLight romantically I do think they're an iteration of the "red thread" trope because no matter what time, no matter what place, they'll write history together with a pen filled with their own blood in place of ink. that said I was genuinely surprised that so many people ship them just because I don't see it at all. I don't hate it, there's just nothing that clicks for me when looking at L and Light.
All the people I ship romantically with Matsuda: mostly just L, I've seen Matsu + Misa stuff but I think they'd be cuter friends.
My non-romantic OTP for L: Light 100%. You can't have one without the other. I can't explain all my thoughts about them without a whole post dedicated to it, but anyway, Light is my answer.
My non-romantic OTP for Matsuda: mentioned it above, Misa! They're two sillies and they're both :3 so they're besties and they've probably got matching friendship bracelets.
My unpopular opinion about L: he does eat normal food on a semi-regular basis. specifically, meat, usually I think steak. I hc him as anemic but also Watari wouldn't let L die or become malnourished and there's important things in food that you can't necessarily get in vitamins or tablets. and actually, as someone with anemia, I think L would actually have really strong cravings for rare or medium rare red meat when his iron is low and thus when he eats it he enjoys it.
My unpopular opinion about Matsuda: He's actually really smart, especially with humanities subjects. Just doesn't have great detective skills. A different career path may have been beneficial but he actually really believes in justice, probably more so than L and Light, and he actually QUESTIONS his own sense of justice which leads to more balance. he's such a great guy.
One thing I wish had happened with L in canon: he survived. and actually, I'd just really like to see him solve lots of cases. idk how many/if any he solved outside the anime but you know. a side series where he solves cases and explores the world and has tea parties with Watari would melt my heart.
One thing I wish had happened with Matsuda in canon: honestly I just wish we got to see more of him in general. I wish we got deeper into his character - into everyone's character, actually, they're all a little 2D and it's not just the animation - but yeah. more Matsu. how he works.
My L OTP: I'm not sure if I can pick one HAHAHHS I love all his relationships (well, my headcanons for them) from platonic to father and son to mentor and mentee to enemies together to lovers. yeah. I just like L LMAO but maybe Matsu. hm idk. I hear some people ship him with BB or Naomi and I wanna look into that.
My Matsuda OTP: lowkey L and Matsuda are one of my favourite ships. in Matsu's case I don't really ship him with anyone else so this is the only answer. some of you might have noticed that in my headcanons Matsuda plays Pokémon Go! and L is a Pokémon fan too... hmm... Also I like them cause they're both childish: like yeah L is always calling Matsuda stupid but does he call any other task force members stupid, even when they deserve it? no. arrogant child and silly child. even in non ship situations I think they're actually on similar wavelengths in a way.
My crossover ship for L: (platonic) Saiki K. you can't tell me they wouldn't be best friends come onnnn smnsndndm hehe
My crossover ship for Matsuda: I dunno actually...
A headcanon for L: if he has to wear shoes, he has to wear blue socks. not dark blue or navy, LIGHT, SATURATED BLUE. it's like neon ahhaha. there's little yellow flowers at the hem bits but his jeans cover them.
A headcanon for Matsuda: he doesn't like chips because they're too crunchy. he likes chips though. curly chips. YES I CALL BOTH TYPES CHIPS AND IT MAKES IT HARD TO DISCERN OVER TEXT SHSGYAYDH SORRY

Tadaima, Okaeri Ep 4 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Hiromu’s father reappeared in the story and did a shit job of trying to reconcile with the family. It wasn’t until Hikari berated his grandfather to stop bullying his papa that the grandfather was able to understand the level of his offense. Things seem to be developing between Yuki and  Hiromu’s friend, and Yuki has become protective of the Fujiyohsi family as well. Hikari is our hero.
I really and truly love how much Hiromu loves his family. This man is crying as he films a typical morning moment between Masaki and Hikari.
They’re expecting a girl! I’m excited about this.
Everyone is so rude in this world! Every new person says some wild shit in front of Masaki and Hikari every time!
Whoa, that got dark just now.
Name of the show. Finish your drinks.
“You wanna keep watching?” Thank you for breaking the tension, Hiromu.
It’s really refreshing that Masaki was able to tell Hiromu about how he’s feeling and they be able to process that together.
Thank you, omegaverse BL, for not putting me through extensive mpreg.
They named the baby Hinata after the sun omg.
Underrated aspect of this show is all of the parents not panicking any time a baby cries.
I’m so stoked about this game of hide-and-seek.
Throwing scissors late, hiding under pillows, and now Hikari is it. They understand exactly what the people need.
Hiromu always being sensitive to Masaki’s feelings as a form of love is so touching.
Hiromu taking a picture of Matsu with a sore shoulder sent me.
Looks like it's time for us to acknowledge Matsu and Yuki next week.
I cannot believe we already have a second adorable baby that has Masaki’s hair! We have so many episodes to go! I love this show so much.

disharmony. 2/??
Nana doesn't remember much of her life before the Sato family found her.
She knows she had a different name, but Nana is what she called herself and Nana is what she became.
She knows she had another family with a mother and a father and a sister but she can't remember their names or faces.
Sometimes she'll get flashes.
A tall, broad shouldered man with a rumbling voice soothing her to sleep.
A small woman with long brown hair and a crimson smile, a talent for making stories come alive.
A hand in hers as her sister promises to protect her in a language she understands but can’t remember.
Nana comes to terms with the fact that she’ll never remember and will never find her other family again. She loves her new family. Her kaa-chan and otou-san. They might not be mama and papa but they love her all the same.
Losing kaa-chan and otou-san soon after graduating from High School almost kills her, but she perseveres, and finds a job as a waitress to pay bills and to keep herself busy.
She’s fine with drifting through life until she meets a man who can speak that language she can’t remember.
The language is Italian and the man’s name is Iemitsu.
He sweeps her off her feet. They’re married within a year, Iemitsu filling a place in her life she didn’t know was missing until he showed up.
Nana is content. She has almost everything she’s ever wanted. She has her twins, Tsu-kun and Chi-chan, she has the love of her life even if he’s off to be a star, and soon she’ll have her next child!
The labor is hard, but she does it! And soon she’ll have her baby in her arms. She follows the Sawada family tradition and names her Tsurumatsu.
When Matsu-chan opens her eyes, Nana feels her breath stutter. Matsu-chan’s eyes are red. (‘Like, nonna’s,’ a part of her whispers.)
Memories start to press against her and Nana quickly hands Matsu-chan over to a nurse as she quickly descends into a panic attack.
Here is what Nana doesn't remember: She was born Susannah Vescovi in Italy. The youngest daughter of Zeno Vescovi and Emilia Benedetti. She had an older sister named Sylvia. Her parents were negotiators for the most powerful Mafia family, the Vongola, and they were in Japan working out a deal between the Vongola and a Yakuza Clan. She doesn’t remember the deal going south, doesn’t remember the chaos that erupts. She only remembers the heat of the flames that burn her hiding place, the smell of smoke, and a sharp pain then nothingness.
Here’s what Nana doesn’t know:
Her parents searched for her frantically, tearing the city apart with no care for Omerta to look for her. They shipped her sister back to Italy immediately. The Vescovi couple is killed by Vongola enemies and Sylvia is lost to the streets of Italy.
Certain Vescovi’s had a bad habit of repressing and ignoring things that didn’t fit their worldview.
When Nana finally calms down, she does what she does best.
Represses.

Ty Zia
Tumblr media
(FC: She just looks like her grandma, when I have commission money will be getting some art done
Aliases: Zia Nationality: Kyoshi Islander (Earth Kingdom Fringe Territory) Ethnicity: Earth Kingdom (South-Eastern); Fire Nation; Air Nomad Relatives: Air Nun Dralha (Great-Great-Great Grandmother), Ty Kou (Great-Great-Great Grandfather), Ty Fuu (Great-Great Grandfather), Ty Koto (Great-Grandfather), Ty Lee (Grandmother), Suki (Grandmother, Adoptive), Ty Len (Father), Nana (Mother) Age: 18 (Born 156 AG, Year of The Dragon)(Circa end of Book 4: Balance) Affiliation: Kyoshi Warriors, Airbenders (Association, Informal), Clan Ty (Lee Branch) Profession: Kyoshi Warrior
Fighting Style: Chi-Blocking, Kyoshi-Island Traditional Martial Arts, Tessenjutsu, Airbending Ranks: Yondan Chi-Blocker, Sandan Tessenjutsu, Niidan Kyoshi Martial Arts, Second Tier (out of thirty-six) Airbender
Appearance Zia is frequently compared to her grandmother, more or less being the spitting image of her teacher at the same age. Unlike her grandmother, she has a preference for the color green, and is often seen in the color to some degree, even when not in her Kyoshi garb. On most other occasions, she will wear blue robes and layers in the typical style of locals.
A key distinction that her metal fans bear from those of the other Kyoshi warriors is an engraving depicting a dragon, referencing the sign of the year of her birth.
Personality Friendly enough, though with a habit for blithe sarcasm, Zia does not so much share her grandmother’s bubbly personality, or her affinity for spiritual things. Be it a result of her upbringing in the remarkably aspiritual region of the earth kingdom, or simply being more concerned with earthly things, such as becoming a warrior, Ty Zia has no ability to remark upon or perceive auras prior to her training. Still, she’s often the first of her troup to meet strangers with a smile.
Mischievous and prone to a good joke, she’s frequently “conniving something” when others observe the airbender in a thoughtful moment. Puns and slapstick are types of comedy that she’s particularly keen on.
Overall loyal to her homeland and the people there, Ty Zia expressed almost no interest in becoming an Air Nomad, or in allowing the other two benders (younger girls from her village) on the island to join the New Air Nation either. This sentiment of loyalty extends just as far to those who earn her friendship… Even if it’s not something earned quickly.
Biography Born in the era following the avatar’s death, the member of a fire nation noble house, though with no ties to that land itself for a generation at that point, Ty Zia is a Kyoshi islander through and through. Kyoshi Island, aside from being isolationist in the era of the 100 years-war, is something of a cultural melting pot from even the era of segregation between nations. Kyoshi, for who the place would become named after and after who much of the culture modeled itself, was multicultural, the daughter of a former air nun, and in this sense Zia was seen as similar, with an ancestor from nearly 200 years prior also being an air nun who escaped the nomad genocide. But its proximity to the south pole, being among the southernmost “Earth Kingdom” settlements, while sharing water with the fire nation archipelago, meant that many cultures and traditions would be shared through osmosis.
Zia, on some level, felt this through her own family’s culture growing up. Though her given name is more in-line with a “traditional” name of the region, her surname was remarkably fire noble, and the through line of air nomad influence ran into the traditions and values of spirituality and the martial arts that her father and grandmother instilled into her when she was a little girl.
Growing up in Matsu Village, the same that Suki was from, Zia’s fascination with the Kyoshi warriors was essentially on-sight. Her first memory, from when she was three, was one of her sneaking a peek of the typically-closed sessions in their dojo. Her grandmother, Suki, led the exercises for the then-warriors with a stern and parental tone that she was unaccustomed to, but also intrigued by. And she would begin copying the motions she saw, until caught by her father Ty Len. Affable and encouraging, he promised that if she wished to be a Kyoshi warrior, that if she put in the work, her dream would come true.
She would begin to receive rudimentary martial arts instruction at age four, though nothing particularly harsh, progressively ramping up to age 9, at which time her training became “serious” and she would begin to study under not only her father, but her grandmother Ty Lee, too. This regiment of martial arts would be supplemented with fundamental weapons as well, a wider range of training than Ty Lee had practiced as a child, with methodical intent to familiarize herself with the weapons used by the Kyoshi Warriors when the time came. And as she entered adolescence, she would become a Kyoshi warrior in the tradition of her grandmothers, even if her martial arts training had only just begun in the eyes of her father.
On one occasion, while she was eleven, Zia met a fire nation noble boy named Jinn Yoshida who had come to the island to request her father’s permission to court her, as evidently this boy’s father had attempted to betrothe his son to several of Zia’s cousins in the fire nation, in hopes of curying political favor through such a marriage into the Ty clan, to no avail. This notion did not last long, and Ty Zia did not ever realize that it was Jinn’s intent to try to marry her, as she was far too interested in “throwing rocks at him” when he expressed a passing interest in her training; a misunderstanding as she had assumed he wanted to learn chi blocking, and attempted to replicate a footwork drill that her father had run her through years before.
At the age of fifteen, as Harmonic Convergence occurred, Ty Zia, along with two younger girls who were training to become Kyoshi warriors themselves someday, would manifest airbending. Excited, but perturbed, Zia would immediately begin barraging her grandmother with questions, while her training would somewhat expand to include some basic movements and forms that Ty Lee could recollect from her adventures with and against avatar Aang, though fifty years is quite a long time for information to become lost.
The island’s isolationist nature meant that communication to the outside world would be slow, even in the direction of Republic City, but the mumblings of Dai Li agents kidnapping newfound airbenders in the night had come quickly. Even if going to Republic City to train under Tenzin was something she might have wanted, the girls could not be taken from their parents so soon, in her mind, and with mumblings of what was going on outside of their island, Zia would initially double down on this policy, even well into the time of the “New Air Nation” and its broad acceptance as a force for good.
Abilities and Powers -Airbender: As a consequence of Harmonic Convergence, like all other new Airbenders, Zia is able to manipulate air currents and gas particles through her will and movement aerokinetically. Due to Kyoshi island not reporting Ty-Zia’s manifestation of her bending, or those of either of the two airbending children on the island at the time, she has not undergone any traditional training. Zia’s airbending resembles that of a “rudimentary” airbender who is only capable of moving the air around them, but not being of it or understanding, she is at roughly this stage through training and understanding martial arts, while teaching herself how to move the air. This technical ability can be compared to Zaheer, though still lacking in a lot of the philosophy and spirituality that made him a prodigal learner of the art. Accordingly she could be said to have mastered the first tier of Airbending training, and is coming upon the completion of the second without instruction. In practice, Zia’s airbending is often about striking at a target’s weak points to break their stature and forms, in a similar fashion to the Kyoshi-style mentality in their hand-to-hand, and on some level her chi-blocking.
-Chi-Blocker: Studying under her grandmother and father, Zia’s tradition of Chi-Blocking is from the later Air Nomad one. Though not as peerless and practiced as her grandmother, Zia is highly-capable and is on a similar par to Ty Lee by the time she had begun instructing others, and is for all intents and purposes a master. At this time she has not yet learned of the final suite of techniques from her father that would allow her to formally accept the title, though.
As a student of Ty Lee and Ty Len Ty Zia’s foundation was intended for direct confrontation in close quarters, modified to account for the use of her weapons as a Kyoshi Warrior, she is able to chi-block precisely enough to use her warfans, rather than her fingers. In some cases, with certain larger pressure points, she can chi-block with a larger and more blunt instrument, like the side of a shield, though it’s often more practical to simply strike hard and true with that weapon.
Typically considered in the range of soft-style application, the broader martial art resembles leopard-style kung fu, and the actual chi-blocking procedure and fist-arrangement, is a highly advanced form of the foundational martial art. In reality her fighting style is very hard, including many kicks and strikes with her various joints (elbows and knees), as well as eye raking and gouging; while taking to a hit-and-run tactical variation with acrobatic movements.
Tessenjutsu: A martial art which makes use of a metal fan, particularly as a slicing, blunt, and blocking instrument. Modeled after Kiyoshi’s use of the weapons, as well as traditional fire nationer ideas of the fighting style, movements with her fans can be both wide and sweeping, or compact and quick, in Zia’s hand.
Thanks to her having obtained airbending, Zia is able to use her fan to enhance the force and cutting power of air displacement that she generates. As a “signature weapon” of the kyoshi warrior, and her personal preferred option, Ty-Zia is likened to a maven in the fan-wielding arts. She will often casually flip and flit around with the weapon in a toying fashion, and will often fan herself regardless of the actual temperature of the room.
-Martial Artist: In a broader sense, in both hand-to-hand and weapon-wielding arts, Ty Zia is a highly-skilled fighter. Due to Kyoshi Island’s traditional martial arts resembling those of the island and nearby airbending populations more than those of the mainland earth kingdom, her fighting style is overall keyed more on various animal-like stances and high-power strikes, rapid combinations, and acrobatic movement, along with some elements of circular movement defensively, while ultimately leveraging an opponent’s weight and strength against them to maximize these factors. When wielding weapons, however, it is very much emphatic on stability and maximization of power in strikes, with positioning and technique specifically keyed to fighting as a part of a group.
-Acrobatics: Though not as inhumanely agile as her grandmother was, the fundamentals of her style are built around high-mobility, being able to run fast, jump far, and weave easily between others. Without airbending she isn’t apt to be found cartwheeling and flipping over enemies, but she’s certainly outmaneuvering most of them.

🥹🥹🥹 Omg of course, Anonym. Please take this lil Daddymatsu headcanon post (with a lil x reader thrown in there - you know, I love marrying you and the matsus for these!) Under the cut!
Osomatsu
It happens when all he's doing is simply lazing about. Mindlessly watching some game show on tv, he doesn't realize at first that anything's even happened until he hears his child babbling near the doorway. He shoots up, a little more urgently than normal however because the baby somehow managed to crawl away from his peripheral vision. Yet...when he turns to face the door, he sees his son holding steadily onto the nearby frame, small wobbly legs just getting the hang of holding up his weight. One step. And then another. And suddenly the baby is lifted into his father's arm, laughter ensuing shortly after. In Osomatsu's eyes there's beaming pride, "You did it, kiddo! Holy crap you did it!"
Karamatsu
An ongoing trial trying to get his little one to take her first steps was proving to be a more difficult feat than imagined. Karamatsu is nothing short of a cheerleader however every time he watches his little girl crawl her way around the house. It wasn't until he sat down with her after coming home from the park, with his shades still on and him untying her shoes that it happened. Her tiny hands grabbed onto his hair, effectively pulling herself upward (and causing Karamatsu to yelp in pain) while straightening herself out. She clapped at her success, leaving her poor father stunned for a second. The thought came and went however and Karamatsu kneeled, leaving her grasp and scooching back only a hair so that he gave her space. With his arms spread out he ushered her forward with is hands, "Come sweet pea, walk to Papa, I've got you!" Her little feet made only a few steps in before she began to wobble. Before she could fall, Karamatsu gently tucked his hands under her arms and pulled her in for a hug. "Daddy's so proud of you," he sniffled, snuggling her close in sheer delight.
Choromatsu
He had figured it was bound to happen any day now and he'd been accurately planning for it. Trajectories calculated, numbers crunched mercilessly into the calculator, he had tried to map out all of it, much to his spouse's confusion. And yet every instance that seemed to line up with the "math", never seemed to be the moment that his son finally start to walk. "You have to just let it happen, Choro," were the gentle words you lent him, "He'll walk soon, don't worry." Realizing they were right, Choromatsu took it upon himself to find patience. And boy was he glad he did.
As he was relaxing in bed with his son next to him and reading the newest manga he'd been looking forward to catching up on, small fingers came to gently pull at the book he was holding. Choromatsu set the book down slowly, realizing his son had stood up on the bed at some point and walked over to approach his reading father. In order to confirm his suspicions, Choromatsu moved a few inches towards the end of the bed. He smiled at his child, "You can do it". A few curious blinks, and those same little feet moved towards his father, arms stretching out to reach Choromatsu. The elation the green matsu felt was incomparable - the shout he let out seemed to shaking the whole house as a result.
Ichimatsu
A happy accident is really how it happened! Ichimatsu had taken his daughter to the nearby park, often where she gets to safely meet a lot of the strays that he's befriended over the years. He was feeding a few, carefully watching his daughter crawl around as he did. Her little hand reached out to grab the tail of a black cat that had been sitting in a loaf close by. When her fingers reached around the soft tendril of fur and pulled, the yowl caught Ichimatsu's attention immediately. The fourth brother whipped around immediately, ready to scoop his daughter up and apologize to his fuzzy friend. The sight he beheld however, made him freeze. His little girl was standing on her feet. She watched as the cat she tugged on took a few steps forward and seemed to look back at her, seemingly waiting for something. With an uncertain lift of her foot, she took a step forward. And then another. And two more to follow, her confidence in her steps growing each time. Finally, she reached the observant feline, which switched its initial reaction and instead opted to come under the little girl's hands in order to keep her steady. Bright slitted green eyes met with Ichimatsu's, followed by a small mew of delight. Ichimatsu could not hold back his tears.
Jyushimatsu
For Jyushimatsu this was a matter of simply meeting his babies at their level. Quite literally. The yellow clad brother crawled with his fraternal twins as often as possible, whether trying to get an understanding of what they were doing or perhaps planning a way to teach them how to walk in the future, you were unsure. But it was funny watching him worm his way around on the ground with their children. "Jyushimatsu!" you called from the kitchen, "Dinner's almost ready, could you round up the children please?" "Yup!" he shouted back. He pushed himself up, dusting off his sweater and shorts before leaning down to scoop up his kids. What he didn't plan for - was the babies holding onto his elongated sleeves. His daughter on the left, his son on the right, Jyushimatsu gently lifted them up. He was expecting them to simply sit up, but the raucous giggling below him caught his attention. On both of their feet, the babies held on tight as they tried their best to hold themselves upright. Eyes wide with sheer joy, Jyushimatsu took one step forward, "Now you two! C'mon, do it just like Dad just did!" The twins looked at each other and then looked at their feet. Trying not to wobble, both twins took a simple step. "Ah! You did it! Okay, one more!" and Jyushimatsu repeated his actions, taking another step forward. The twins followed suit, babbling incoherently as they were finding their newfound footing. After a few minutes of what sounded like shuffling, and a ton of laughter, your husband stood a the entrance to the kitchen, tears streaming down his face. You were ready to ask what was wrong before catching sight of what had him so emotional. "Ah ha ha!" Jyushimatsu laughed, a small sniffle cutting through his trademark smile, "Guess what just happened!"
Todomatsu
"Alright, princess, you can do this, come on!" came the soft cheer of Todomatsu, as he held his phone up and hit record on the camera. He watched his daughter carefully, as the other he caught sight of her trying to hoist herself up with the couch end - and today she did the same, trying to use his leg instead. And by Kamimatsu, he was NOT going to miss getting such an important milestone in her life (and his fatherhood accomplishments). So with his camera at the ready, he watched attentively at her every move. It wasn't until the small ping! of his phone ripped his focus away if only for a moment. It was you, asking him if he wanted you to pick up dinner on your way home from work. Todomatsu pressed his knuckle to his chin in thought, "So many options..." he mused to himself. However just as quickly was he thinking of food was he pulled from his thoughts. The cooing of his daughter sounded in front of him, and as he looked up - she was on her feet! Todomatsu gasped in delight, dropping his phone in the process. He immediately ran up to her small frame, stopping short just before her to kneel. His eyes glittered with tears, "Walk to Papa, hunny, c'mon!" The simple step she took had Todomatsu squealing, seemingly unable to process the happiness that overwhelmed him. When you would come home shortly after (which some hotpot ingredients because he never texted you back) and inquire what he was currently crying over, he screamed in delight about your daughter taking her first step! "Look!" he exclaimed, snatching his phone up and unlocking it, "I even got it on-" And then he froze. The color drained from his face when he realized in his adoration he completely forgot to record the entire thing! "Todomatsu...?" you questioned, watching your husband suddenly roll around on the ground in agony. "I DIDN'T THE GET THE VIDEO I WANTED!"

Hi I don’t usually rq, hopefully you’re not too overwhelmed atm! I was hoping for a Osomatsu rq, (if you don’t wanna do all six, you can just do the four eldest). This one’s pretty sad, so feel free to ignore if that’s not your jam.
Basically their s/o is a foreigner and their family is all the way back in America, in order for this to make sense lol.
Their s/o hasn’t been acting theirselves today, they’re acting weird? They’re trying to keep themselves busy and occupied at all times with something, like they’re distracting themselves from something. Anytime they’re asked about it, they say that they’re fine and that there’s nothing wrong! Eventually though, that night they have a long talk about it and they admit that it’s their fathers death anniversary and usually they’re there with their mom picking out flowers and stuff but they .. can’t because they’re far from their family. Maybe just a moment where the matsu brother offers to pick out flowers with them?
( sorry this is so long eeee !! Again u can ignore if this is a bit much!)
Osomatsu - Aw, you could've said so earlier, he would've understood! Well, just because you're not in the states at the moment doesn't mean you can't have a little ceremony or something. If you wanna get flowers, he'd be happy to tag along. Whatever would help you feel better, he's down to join you, and he's surprisingly adept at helping you grieve. Granted, it's been a few years now since your father's passing, but Osomatsu just has a way of keeping the mood light. Sure, it's still sad, but at least your dorky NEET boyfriend is there with beer and kind words, right? He's like a life jacket, helping you float to shore through violent ocean waves.
Karamatsu - Kara is a lot more open to the stronger emotions you might be feeling than Oso, because he's never been the sort of guy to hide what he's feeling and because he's incredibly sensitive. So if you need to cry or vent your frustrations, by all means do so. Honestly, he'll grab the flowers for you if that'd help at all. Undoubtedly this is a tough moment for you, and anything he might be able to do to alleviate the strain it's putting on your precious heart would be the least he could do. Also you're definitely getting something to eat with him later because food just makes everything better.
Choromatsu - After hounding you so hard to tell him what's on your mind he feels like a huge jackass. Let him make it up to you with a quick trip to the florist's. Even if he wasn't trying to make up for his shitty reaction, though, he's very respectful when it comes to the dead. It's almost a little scary how solemn and reverent he can be, but only because it's a side of him you haven't really seen before.
Ichimatsu - Ah. He's never really been the best at handling situations where other people are sad. It's very awkward. He can barely manage his own feelings without help, so being supportive when it comes to another person's feelings is... kinda tough. But he's dealt with many devastating feline funerals over the years, and he knows that the pain doesn't really ever leave, you just make room for it inside. So getting flowers with you is hardly a big deal, and anything else you might wanna take care of is fine too. Anything that makes a little more room for your grief, anything that helps you honor those memories.
