8. How did they feel about the liberation of Ala Mhigo? Do they feel it could have been handled differently? Where they at all bothered by how they were involved?

I mean, Kitali hates Garlemald, so she's glad that Ala Mhigo and Doma are free of their yoke.

As for Ala Mhigo specifically, she has no real ties to the Resistance movement besides wanting to help Lyse. That's her sole reason for agreeing to go to Gyr Abania. She was resentful of the assumption that she would agree to help and to be the forefront of the assault based on her success at the Praetorium and her victory on the Steps of Faith. And M A N did she feel some type of way about the whole Naadam thing. That's. For another ask that I have sitting in my inbox lmao.

For Kitali, Stormblood was equal parts anger, resentment, and relief.

Kitali has many enemies :) Most notable are Lolorito and Gaius, both because they tried to kill her/have her killed. Lolorito is still alive because he's too public to kill and Gaius is alive only on the grounds of saving Alphinaud's life that one time and Estinien vouching for him (which was a whole Argument in and of itself).

Nero is up there, but he's mellowed out a lot since leaving Garlemald and is more of a domesticated raccoon in the Ironworks, and they're both content to just blow the occasional raspberry at one another from across the various workshops. They went from "well I guess we have to kill one another" to a begrudging respect for the other's capabilities, if not respect for the person themself. Nero is useful and Cid can keep him occupied and out of the Alliance's hair, and that's good enough for her.
