a rolan thought to share cause i cant keep em to myself
rolan every so often has to go out on business trips for wizard (tm) stuff and wherever he goes people think hes the most depressing person every until one day hes informed that he can bring a plus one.
so at the next event hes got his spouse with him and hes just the happiest chattiest thing ever. all over the event hes so excited to show off his spouse and everyone is BAFFLED until the next event when hes just so gloomy again
takes people forever to figure out he just doesn't like being away from his spouse

UGH GOD and just imagine his face as he introduces his partner to his colleagues, or how smiley he gets when he gets to listen to them ask his spouse about their adventures and accomplishments. He's just like mhm, yep, that's my spouse, I am obviously the luckiest man in the world : ^ )

Picture rolan forcing himself out of his study, but his mind is still buzzing from whatever problem has plagued him for days. It's kept him awake, tossing and turning the last few nights and he knows tonight will be no different. So he's pacing back and forth at the foot of the bed, wondering if he should even get in bed.
Tav reaches out to tug at the sleeve of his robe, when he turns to huff impatiently at them, he only sees them looking so worried. For a moment, he is struck with a pang of guilt and let's himself be pulled down into a warm embrace.
Laying his head on their chest, arm slung across their belly, he can hear their heartbeat. The soft muted rhythm overriding the chaos brewing in his mind, soft fingers gliding through his hair sweeping it all away.
Without intending to he found himself laying there purring at against the sensation until his eyelids grew heavy and he dozed off.

.I honestly love the tiefling kids so much. The entire tiefling camp is just amazing, and I was so heartbroken to find the adults in act 2, just the initial feeling of coming across them for the first time and being like "wait, I know these people" is just UGH it killed me. Luckily I'd taken then mountain path so I was with Kar'niss instead of the group of Harpers who just TRAMPLE all over them in their haste to get to the ambush sight if you go through the Underdark. Also, it's worth noting the tiny difference between a Tiefling MC and a non-tiefling, I think Ikaron(?) calls you brother and is pretty relaxed around you, whereas he's mad suspicious if you're not a Tiefling, very cute. There's probably more, but I am Tristan at heart so I'm just playing him over and over again.
.Anyways, sketchy sketchy 😘.

1. Kimber Boh! Hear me out- this writing pseudonym has allowed me to pursue writing in a way I’d never dared to. Then gave me the ability to meet all of you. The freedom to be myself around the coolest, like-minded people is really thrilling.
2. Outside of work and nerd life, I volunteer in lots of various places to help people, and I really like that because its made me a more complete person— to learn from people of all walks of life.
3. My writing ability! It’s a constantly growing and evolving art.
4. My ability to make friends with others (because you are all so cool!!!)
5. I am silly and extra. Full stop. It’s wonderful.

thoughts on how Rolan might discover any kinks he has? i imagine he doesn't have a lot of time to go about...experimenting with others
Yeah not only does he not have time for experimenting throughout his life, he also doesn't have like hardly any experience before meeting his partner. He'd have no idea what he liked and didn't like - but he seems like someone who's like "ahem, no, I will not be doing that" but once he does it he ends up loving it.
I think he'd discover his kinks mostly through his partner suggesting to try things. I don't really think that he'd know about many kinks and doesn't go out of his way to learn about them - so he would rarely suggest something to his partner to try out.
On the other hand, he might discover his kinks like on accident? Like he or his partner did something different in bed all of a sudden and he's like wait.........
(nsfw thought ahead) Like the mating bite, for example, I imagine that one night his partner's fucking him and bites down on him all of a sudden to establish dominance and it literally sends him into the hardest orgasm of his life.

I thought I'd share more from my in-progress Rolan rut fic, Birds and Bees. It started as a one-shot and is now drafted out at 3 chapters (oops!)
(Featuring a new Tav! She's a ranger who swings by Sorcerous Sundries to do her alchemy when she's in the city, and attempts to flirt with the oblivious wizard in her free time)
A laugh came from behind his back. “Do you mind?”
Rolan turned to look. Tav was gesturing at the corner of her makeshift alchemy station with eyebrows raised. To his own confusion, he found that his tail had traveled there of its own accord sometime in the past minutes. It lay coiled on the wood, its tip flicking back and forth in her direction, as if seeking her attention.
With another chuckle, Tav’s fingers closed around it and playfully dropped the appendage off the edge of her work desk.
An involuntary sound caught in Rolan’s throat. The moment her hand connected with his skin, a shock of blood rushed to his groin. He nearly tipped forward in alarm at the feeling.
The rapid redirection left his legs wobbling and bloodless. His knees nearly buckled under him; he gripped sharp claws into the edge of his wooden desk to steady himself.
As the ringing in his ears cleared, he heard Tav reading under her breath behind him as she ground something in her mortar. Praise the gods that whatever just happened to his body had escaped her notice.
“I need a book from the library—”
Without a backward glance, Rolan stumbled toward the stairs.

im so sorry your day sucked, but if you're looking for something positive i would like to take this time to point out how incredibly fond i am of you as you are. im entirely positive that the place you work doesn't deserve you and its not forever you. Any place that would deserve you will not send you home in such a state, but its friday and hopefully you dont work tomorrow. i hope you get to rest relax and forget for a bit. you deserve good things!

2. Measurements of Zevlor body for scientific purposes.
3. Clothes he is going to use in Baldurs Gate once the Absolute is defeated.
4. Jobs/works he is going to have in the future (will he become an Ilmater cleric?)
5. If he is going to have some interactions with the tieflings of Emerald grove after the game events.
6. Relationship with Halsin and Wyll in Baldurs Gate.
7. Possible relationships before Elturel's descent. Was he married? Is he a widow? Did he have a lover?
