thoughts on how Rolan might discover any kinks he has? i imagine he doesn't have a lot of time to go about...experimenting with others
Yeah not only does he not have time for experimenting throughout his life, he also doesn't have like hardly any experience before meeting his partner. He'd have no idea what he liked and didn't like - but he seems like someone who's like "ahem, no, I will not be doing that" but once he does it he ends up loving it.
I think he'd discover his kinks mostly through his partner suggesting to try things. I don't really think that he'd know about many kinks and doesn't go out of his way to learn about them - so he would rarely suggest something to his partner to try out.
On the other hand, he might discover his kinks like on accident? Like he or his partner did something different in bed all of a sudden and he's like wait.........
(nsfw thought ahead) Like the mating bite, for example, I imagine that one night his partner's fucking him and bites down on him all of a sudden to establish dominance and it literally sends him into the hardest orgasm of his life.

Cal and Lia: Family fluff and sibling emotions. General. Currently includes two WIPS, one named "Our Turn", and one to be based on this idea by @faerunsbest.
Just Rolan: A not-yet-published multichapter fic following Rolan, Cal, and Lia through the game.
Rolan bad: Mature. A multichapter fic otherwise known as "What if Rolan was a Companion... and Everything Went Wrong".

Ah! I love this so much!! I'm going to put this under a cut, because I haven't sketched since high school (and, like, one picture I drew in undergrad), so I think I'd make a mess of it! So we're working with picture boards, y'all!
CAMP CLOTHES - ACT 1/2
When Tav first is captured by the Nautiloid, she has her standard wizard robes (can't afford anything too fancy) and the clothing she would wear while working on commissions (though she would likely wear the typical camp clothes under an apron/gloves to protect herself from burns). So she has the homely clothes, but they are singed and sweat-stained from working near a furnace.

CAMP CLOTHES - ACT 3
With some convincing, Tav splurges and buys the Solemnity Outfit (purple). Gale and the others urge her to get a nice set of clothes for herself, because the clothing she'd worn up until that point were basically falling apart. She isn't the type to really care what she wears so long as it continues to be functional. So the moment it stops functioning is the moment that she will agree to make any needed replacements.
BATTLE ATTIRE - ACT THREE
By the end of Act 3, Tav has traded her very basic wizard robes for the Potent Robes. She would either keep these their default color or dye them Boreal Blue. These would be what she wears while fighting, and she also wears them while working in Sorcerous Sundries.

PERFORMANCE CLOTHES/COSTUME
After the Netherbrain is defeated and Tav is staying at Ramazith's Tower, she occasionally helps with the performances outside of Sorcerous Sundries. She wears a red costume with gold accents.

Basically, her outfit is closest in color and style to the fourth picture with the long sleeves, but the sleeves start below the shoulder like in images 2 and 3. And then she has lacing in the back like in image 1. The only really difference besides that is she has a straight strapless neckline.

Nine People I'd Liked To Know Better

Last Song I Listened to - I usually have the BG3 soundtrack playing while I write, but that feels like a bit of a gimme, so I'm going to exclude that. The last non-soundtrack song I listened to was Enter Sandman by Metallica.
Currently Watching - Right now, my partner and I are watching Severance, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, and Red Dwarf. Since out schedules are so hectic, we usually watch an episode of something during dinner. I'm trying to expand what science fiction I read/watch, because I tend to engage with more speculative science fiction than space operas.
Sweet/Savory/Spicy - Spicy. As spicy as something can be made. When my writing group sends out NaNo care packages each year, I am always so happy when they send me new hot sauces/spices. I got ghost pepper tabasco sauce this last year (it's very good in tomato soup), and the year or so before that, I got scorpion pepper salt. I found Carolina Reaper jerky, and it was SO GOOD.
Relationship Status - Engaged! :D
Current Obsession - Most definitely Rolan and Baldur's Gate 3, and Dungeons and Dragons.
