I did a doodle of an aged-up Marinette at work this morning. She's a junior designer, looking over designs for the new line she's working on. Her hair's in a sophisticated up-do for an air of professionalism and to keep her hair out of her face while she works - though she lets her hair down when she gets home (Adrien never ceased to be in awe of Marinette when her hair's loose and free, completely mesmerised by the sight, and Marinette loves seeing him look at her that way).

This here is the original sketch, where I was like "huh, this kinda looks like Marinette, hey? maybe I should add the pigtails?"
This one is where I realised she somehow morphed and grew up, and pigtails might not work anymore
And this is where I decided to stop because I'm really proud of what I created and didn't want to ruin it lol (I'm not an artist, so I'm really happy with what I drew!)

The problem with trying to learn how to draw Bruno while simultaneously trying to learn to draw faces in general...
...is that his face is so weird it makes every other face look weird by comparison. Why are his eyes so close together? Why is his face so long?? (His nose is really fun though.)
And this is just all to say, I'm working on something for Valentine's Day. But for now, I'm taking a break to peruse more amazing content from the Encanto Big Bang, because whew. <3

So I wanted to do a quick practice with faces since I struggle with them a ton , I wasn’t planning on posting them but here we are :’) I ended up liking em…well most of them which made me wanna post them :) then I remembered I did something similar couple years back and well … LMAO I don’t remember them being this bad but jeez 😂😂 anyways it’s 2023vs2020 👌🏻 2020 was a painful year for me …well for all of us but I meant like in art wise 💀 glad I didn’t give up on drawing people, and hopefully I keep on practicing til I find a style that will satisfy me enough :’D
