A walk on the beach💙

I originally started this drawing as a selfshiptember piece, but by now three months have passed so I'm not going to tag it as such anymore xD I've had this scenario in my mind for a longer time already though; I thought, "Well, Davy might not be able to step on land, but if he can stand in a water-filled bucket on land, then it seems like he doesn't need a particularly large amount of water beneath him either, as long as there is some. Therefore he should also be able to walk along the beach as long as he makes sure there's always water around his feet." So, nothing's standing in the way to go for a nice walk at the beach I suppose :D

I actually like to think that it was Davy's idea to leave the Flying Dutchman in charge of Maccus for a few hours and take Selena to the next best unoccupied island nearby. He knows that she sometimes misses the land, but since he can't go there with her, this is the closest they can do to bring their worlds together. Davy actually enjoys it greatly, the change of scenery does him good, and being away from the crew for a few hours, just spending some time with his beloved walking along a quiet, lonely beach brings him a sense of peace that he hasn't felt in a very long time💕
