Definitely definitely was expecting to see more of Infinite Wealth at the summit… since the tweets mentioned character introductions but didn't specify for which game, I was under the impression we'd at least be introduced to the as-yet-unidentified voices in the trailer. Gameplay would've been HUGE to include too 😩 I guess it makes enough sense though, since it's not The Upcoming Release...

I shall bide my time. I have no idea what to expect from fall summit (as intended). But if it's going to be a seasonal thing, I figure a potential "winter summit" is the latest it could be to show us gameplay for something that's suppsed to be an early 2024 release, if not just putting out trailers or other showcases and stuff independently.

LEGIT THOUGH IT JUST MAKES IT SOUND LIKE KIRYU IS LYING TO SOUND COOL GDJSKGLDS which is also Arakawa-esque… "maybe I felt like impressing an idiot kid"… If nothing else, I feel like I'll enjoy the dynamic they're going for with those two. Specifically casting Kiryu as a "big brother" figure rather than a father figure also makes me WEEP because the only "aniki" Ichi's ever had is Jo. So it's like... from Jo to Joryu...

Also I just really like the acting choices by the mocap actor for Kiryu, I feel like we've never really seen him move that… casually? His mannerisms also 100% make him look like he's lying lol like there are multiple "tells" it's so funny

I glossed over the proposal (because I expected that to be the main topic anyway, being the only dialogue scene we got) but I completely agree with everything that's been said, basically. Reverse chick magnet for life… but I do expect there's more to it than meets the eye because summit is pretty focused on "generating buzz," so the fact it feels so out of place is probably what they were banking on.

Because like, on top of everything mentioned, Ichiban is portrayed as an entirely passive participant in the romances in 7, and IIRC for Saeko and Eri he wasn't really even fully aware they were into him. So for him to not only be the one to propose but bomb so hard a seasoned hostess (as Kiryu points out in JP)--who'd rather be groped than subjected to Weird Shit--blew up at him and there was fallout from Adachi and Nanba is a huge deviation from how he's portrayed.

It's also kind of like, to me, the translation says something a little different than what was actually being said; Ichi's emphasis wasn't really on the fact she rejected him (implying he expected her to accept + placing more importance on his own feelings vs hers), but the fact she "chewed him out" (implying he should've known better in the first place than to ask).

Of course, he's apparently planning on trying again so he is hoping she'll accept eventually, and the general tone of the interaction suggests he should've known better regardless, but both say something slightly different about his characterization in this scene to me. There's also TL weirdness with Ichi saying Kiryu seems like a good dude rather than just… him explaining that he doesn't mean anything bad by saying he doesn't seem like a ladies' man, which is a bigger mistake but less consequential, I guess.

There's also Saeko's line from the original teaser, "You say that like you're proposing," so it would seem she's already caught off guard (i.e. not taking it seriously yet) and not too thrilled with the idea (provided it's the same convo). I don't really have much to go off of, but if they are in a relationship, I can only assume either she's made it clear she doesn't want to get married or his proposal method was just That Bad, or they're not in a relationship.

In the latter case all I have to pull from is other media with characters who are somewhat like Ichi, but it made me think of times I've seen characters propose for legal or financial reasons or etc. and get Totally Owned, and I'd honestly find that a believable Ichi Situation… Ichi thinking like 50 steps ahead and not explaining himself properly and just Making Saeko More Mad… I'm just musing, though.

Yokoyama and co. were--if I heard right--being pretty cagey about whether they ARE in a relationship in the first place though, which strikes me as odd compared to RGGS' openness about Kaito's ex in the Lost Judgment DLC. So… definitely not beating the red herring allegations just yet, at any rate. Especially when said DLC involves a fake-out on a proposal lmao

Putting all that aside since we can't make any definitive statements anyway, I AM going to make the definitive statement that literally every single design in Gaiden so far is indeed drippy as hell.

if there's nothing for fall summit (though i'm going to hope a lil there will be since that's what. three months from now) then there'll definitely be something for winter summit. if the idea is that there's more of a focus on gaiden since its release date is sooner, then it's fair to assume- with that logic- the winter one'll have the bulk of LAD8 news and demos. either way, im excited for both to see what both of them bring us !

ignoring the elephant in the room of the proposal thing, i also really liked the vibe of it all (and ive also been trying reeaaally hard to make a joke connecting jo and joryu since that's also a bit i enjoy) (❁´◡`❁) i did like that lowkey feel and just the casualness of the atmosphere and the slight awkward/uncomfortable-but-not-overly-offended-and-even-minorly-comedic energy from kiryu lmao. cant ever go wrong with having a scene that's there to slow everythin down a bit, and it does help set up a kind of homely/familial vibe ♪(´▽｀)

HONESTLY? the one thing i AM excited for when we do our christmas thing (on the 29th) is that my niece is gonna be there. i LOOOOOVE HER TO BITS shes so cute shes 4 and she calls me he most the time based on pure confusion alone which is a good thing, but thats not the only reason!!!

for the longest time me and my younger sibling (we're like a year apart) were the babies of the family 😭 we went 16 years without anyone new and then my niece was born and honestly. likeG RRGR this is such a good thing because now SHES the baby and theres less focus on me im. SO HAPPYY like it was for QUITE A WHILE i guess me being 15 when all my family is pretty old made it that way but like. i genuinely think most the attention will be on her so. thanks gurl i appreciate you

also i might have another niece soon??? if everything goes well 🥳 she should be due in january or february. i wonder what she'll be like? my niece is so sillay to me and honestly its like.

im thankful that im breaking the cycle in some way, my family is VERY emotionally repressed and unhelpful like. my sister told me she'd beat my ass if i ever cut myself. i GET IT because shes had a history with that sort of thing, shes trying to scare me out of it so the INTENT is well, but the way she approached it absolutely was not 💀 like the vibe is just. i share more about my mental health with my friends then i ever would with my family cuz it makes me so viscerally uncomfortable

but i hope i can be good to her. i remember she wanted to draw with me and i pulled out all my color pencils for her and we drew and she felt sad that her flower wasnt as good as mine (shes FOUR i dont blame her 😭 it was still so cute to me regardless) and me and my sister told her like hey!! its alright that its different, if you practice more you'll get better and who cares!! you should love yr flower because you made it, its your flower and she felt better 😭💞 WAHHHH i love her sm

i like to bother her cuz shes MEAN TO ME SOMETIMES she calls me stinky and bullies me alright you are FOUR YEARS OLD i will literally pick you up and spin you like a pizza dont test me!!! idk its. something in me i get like cuteness aggression almost, like id treat her the way i treat my CAT if it wasnt socially. awkward but ill just like poke her or pat her head like IDK how to describe? it gives me the satisfaction that petting a cat would even if she doesnt care that much its like my way of showing her i care or somethn. shes 4 so it probably doesnt matter to her but. little things!!! also we hug when we say goodbye now which makes me happy its not that she didnt want to before its just that. shes very small of course and me and my younger sibling are the tallest in our immediate family AND i wear all black i look tired im quiet like. i used to scare her 😭

she used to REALLY love me when she was a baby (huge relief for me cuz im always scared of babies and making them cry on accident or something) and then we had a quiet period because i was too socially awkward to like. I KNOW SHES JUST A KID but i get anxious anyways cuz im still TALKING TO A PERSON.. but im better at it now cuz i know her. ive really never been around any kids at all since like i said, we were the youngest for a while, SO. this is all pretty new to me but i love her anyways

i cant afford therapy so im going to talk about my troubles on here because i dont know what else to do 👍 i dont know if this will reach anyone but it might make me feel better. sorry if its a bit lengthy, ive had these feelings for a while

for the sake of anonymity and my own safety i will not be mentioning any names of people, towns, or schools :]

so im in college, im an art major. im from a small town with nothing to do except go to a mall the next town over and im going to college in another small town 5 hours away from home. this small town also has jack shit to do unless you drive 45 minute to an hour away. im currently in my spring semester of my freshman year and i have gotten so absolutely mentally and physically drained since i got a fast food job. i got a job making pizzas at yknow one of those big chain corporations pizza places, and the store i work at has only been open a few months. its absolutely chaotic and no one knows how to do anything except a few select people. my boss, the general manager, also doesnt know how to do anything because its his first time doing something like this. one of the other managers also only works there because hes friends with the general manager and he is not the greatest person, as he tends to sexually harrass the staff including a friend i made there. now ive already put in my two weeks last saturday, but that doesnt take away from how drained this job has made me.

Since the spring semester started ive been constantly piled with work (one week i was scheduled 6 days in a row when i had a big project to work on, i had a breakdown at work to my general manager), writing assignments, and project after project. (not even kidding my drawing professor gives us a new project the same day we turn one in) in my senior year of high school i loved fine arts and i believed that i wanted to follow in my art teachers footsteps and pursue my love of art and make art for my career. and while i do still love fine arts and making art, i just cannot do this constantly. since just before my spring break i started not going to my classes as consistently and i swore to myself i would start going again after the break. well that break just made it worse it seems because everything has just gone more and more downhill. i have still been missing classes because some days its difficult to get out of bed and i do not have the motivation to go to class just to sit there and not be able to pay attention for an hour/hour and a half. im behind on a project for one of my classes because i havent gone since ive been back from spring break (two weeks). i have an exam for one of my classes soon and im not even close to prepared. i had a 3 page essay due last night i started but havent finished (luckily i can turn it in a little late). it may sound lazy but these are my real struggles with my mental health. i feel trapped here. i do have a license and a car, i do have transportation so i can go places, but its such an old car it has so many problems (one which has arisen recently being if i stop somewhere and turn my car off, it wont crank back up immediately and i have to wait 10-15 minutes, and once it is on i have to revv it to make sure it stays on). so because of car problems and currently living in a small town im frustrated because it feels like i cant go anywhere to do anything fun. i feel trapped in my dorm and in my mind.

now comes the college problem. the college i go to currently is a nice school, i get 8 meals a week on my meal plan included in my tuition. theres several places to choose from the eat at, theres a gym, free health exams i think. but its driving me insane seeing the same old brick buildings every damn day. i currently dont have a roommate so im in a dorm by myself which probably contributes to this feeling of lonliness. i dont really have many friends, i had more last semester but they did not keep in touch. i do have one friend that i appreciate very much and she always worries and wants to help when she sees im upset. shes a real one. but seeing the same things, learning about the same repetitive lessons every single day, has driven me insane. my art history class has been the same topics since the start of the semester, its all been about works of art pertaining to jesus, and mary, and god and the angel telling mary shes pregnant and marys purity and this symbolizing that and i understand why its important to learn about these works of art and how they have shaped art today, but i cannot stand hearing the same things over and over. im not a christian, and i dont believe theres anything wrong with christianity as long as youre not hurting anyone with your beliefs, but these topics are so repetitive ever class i have. the semesters almost over and we havent even gotten to modern art yet, and in my opinion thats what truly matters to learn about because thats what we as artists would need to look at to have a reference for how we should make our art right? art is about expressing yourself and we need to see how others making art in the modern era are expressing themselves as well. and on the topic of expressing ourselves, my drawing class, every single project, my professor has us stick to such strict criteria. one of my projects my professor actually really liked, i liked, but she took points off because i had my girlfriends name written very small where you could barely even see, because we were not supposed to have any text. i feel like i cannot even be creative and truly express myself with these projects. i dont feel like i have any real freedom with them. i love fine arts and i love making art, but not when its like this. i want to be able to make my own art that actually expresses my feelings, not someone elses criteria. because of all of this my grades have been rapidly dropping.

now i have already made the decision weeks ago that i will not be returning to this school in the next fall semester. i discussed this with my mom already as she does the majority of my paperwork and things for this stuff. she wants me to transfer to a college closer to home so i can atleast get a general studies degree. but thats not what i want to do either. she told me not to flunk my classes this semester because that will make it difficult to transfer me to another school, but how do you expect me to get good grades when i constantly feel like im in hell in my mind. i mentioned wanting to maybe take a gap year, she doesnt want me to do that. school is horrible for my mental health like this, i dont understand why society thinks we should just have everything we want to do with the rest of our life figured out immediately out of high school. well i dont. and i dont want to stay in college immediately out of high school. i want to go live my life! me and my girlfriend are long distance (we have met in person several times and shes actually coming to visit me this month, but just seeing each other for a week at a time is not enough) and i really want to go live with her! i want to enjoy living and living with the person i love more than life itself! i currently dont feel like i can do that here or back home. i want to move somewhere else with my girlfriend so we can both be happy and love life. i want to move out of state to a slightly bigger city, nothing crazy like new york or atlanta, but just somewhere bigger than a small town with nothing to do whatsoever. i do have a place in mind but im not going to say where. and when i move, after a year i can qualify for in state tuition and pursue something that makes me happier. ive always loved animals and marine animals so i was thinking i could major in zoology and marine biology and work at an aquarium or something while im working on my degree. and i dont fully know how the paperwork and things work for transferring and such, especially after a break, so i could be in the wrong, but is it really wrong for wanting the best for myself?

and to be honest with myself i know exactly why im in college and its not to get a degree. i was raised constantly being compared to my siblings. my brother is trans (which my parents are very obviously not too fond of) dropped out of college and joined the military. my sister dropped out of college after a semester, got married to a horrible man who she just recently divorced after having two children with him. and being compared to them all my life, especially to my brother, made me want to be better than them. i wanted to be the one, as the youngest, to be the first one to get through college immediately, all four years, no problem. but its just too much for me. and dropping out, moving away, im terrified. im terrified that my parents will be disappointed in me. im terrified of that face my mother makes, that tone of voice, when shes disappointed in me for something. im terrified of getting lectured and told why everything i want is wrong. its irrational. and im terified if i move away i wont have her support anymore. i wont have her to lean on when i need help with something. i was never taught where to go or how to do stuff for applying to colleges and transferring. i barely know how to do my taxes.

now i really dont know what this article-like rant of a tumblr post is gonna do. i know i dont really have a following and i dont really post on here. but i just thought itd make me feel better to collect my thoughts and put them all together like this. so far the only people concerned about me have been my girlfriend and a couple of my friends ive told about these problems. not even my professors are concerned about me, i havent even gotten a single email or question about how im doing. they say theyre all for mental health but when a student stops coming to class as often suddenly and starts failing or not turning in assignments its none of their business and i must just be getting lazy and im a horrible student yknow? anyways i think thats about it for this. again i dont really know what this will do but i hope someone has advice or support or something. im going insane here.

It was a winter evening where Jungkook and his mother were waiting for Jungkook's childhood best friend and his crush  .Jimin had moved to Seoul since he was a teenager leaving jungkook in busan , they kept in touch after that so much year . Jungkook was moving with jimin after being accepted in university and jimin offered to move to his flat .

Jimin arrives running , even though they videocall pretty often jungkook couldn't help but staring at jimin's face , he always thought jimin was handsome but now he looks gorgeous . 

"I'm sorry for being late , the traffic was terrible , good evening jungkookie and mrs. Jeon '' he bowed and smile warmly at them 

"Oh god , jimin you change a lot since the last time i saw you , you are all grown up " mrs. Jeon chuckle while looking at jimin

"We both did , it's been so long since jimin hyung left "jungkook say the last part with a really fake sad tone making jimin laugh as he brush the younger's hair 

" well , just come here to leave jungkookie and my train leaves in 20 minutes " she sigh turning back to his son and hugging him tightly , jungkook hugged her back " Please jungkookie take care,ok ? Don't skip meals and sleep early , ok ? And don't forget to call home often " 

"I will mom , don't worry " his mom pull away from the hug and look at him grabbing his hand " I let jungkook come to seoul because i know you are going to take care of him and if you can try to put some meat on his bones , no matter how hard i try to tell him to stop exercising so much and skipping meals he just ignore me he is really stubborn " she laugh seeing her son look indignant expression 

"I'm not stubborn , mom ! " he pouts, offended , jimin laughs, " don't worry mrs. Jeon i will take care care of him and make sure he eats well " 

After Jungkook's mom left , Jimin helped the younger with his luggage as they looked for a taxi talking about things and how excited Jungkook was about his first day . The journey was really short when they arrive they were really tired 

"Oh man , i'm so tired " he yawns while sitting in the sofa " i can show you your room so you can unpack your things and get comfy " jungkook nodded taking his luggage with him , the room was clean and warm " this room look so comfy hyung " jimin smile at him " im glad you like it , im gonna order some food im sure you are hungry i call you when it arrives " jungkook hummed as he started unpacking his clothes 

Jungkook unpacked some all of his clothes and change his jeans into some sweatpants and a oversized black t-shirt , he went to the living room and jimin was putting the food on the coffee table 

"Oh jungkookie , i was about to call you to have dinner come on sit down " jungkook did at he was told while looking at all the food 

"Hyung isn't it a bit too much for just the two of us ?" There was a lot of food in the coffee table : 3 boxes of pizza,chips,chicken and coke its was a lot for just two people 

" I got a good discount , we can save what we can't finish for tomorrow, '' he answered softly. Jungkook shrugged satisfied with the older man's answer , he grabbed a slice of pizza and shoved it in his mouth , they were watching a film while eating .

When he movie was ending , jungkook squirmed uncomfortable he was so focused on the movie that he doesn't realize he had eaten almost all the food , there was still some slices of the last pizza and some coke in the coffee table and a lot of wrapped too 

" you can have the rest of the pizza if you want " jimin say as he push the box closer to the younger  

"You don't want it ? I'm full hyung " jungkook rub his swollen tummy trying to ease the pressure on his stomach 

"Nah , im full too " he lied , in fact  he just ate two slices of pizza and some coke " but you have a big appetite , i'm sure you can't fit the rest of the food in there " he poked jungkook's tummy , laughing when he saw the younger's cheeks blushed 

Jungkook  grab the slice of pizza and start eating it when he finish the rest of the pizza he was lean back in the sofa , his belly was really swollen and it hurts , the waistline of his sweatpant were cutting painfully into his tummy, he whined in discomfort , he feel like he was gonna pop , he try to rub his belly to stop the discomfort even tho it didn't help that much . 

"Are you ok , kookie ?? " when jungkook see his hyung face , his eyes were full of concern 

"I-i just eat t-too much "he blushed fuck he doesnt even know who he managed that much his belly groan in discomfort 

“oh kookie ...do you want me to help ?” Jungkook doesn't know how jimin would help him but he nodded , jimin lift him and put him on his lap and started rubbing his belly. The older´s hands feel good  easing the pain. He closed his eyes on pleasure ? 

He suddenly burped loudly when Jimin pressed a hard spot on his belly . His cheeks blushed too embarrassed to look at his hyung , he would probably be disgusted but jimin unbothered continued rubbing his belly he burped a few more times when the pressure on his gut stopped and it became a warm and enjoyable sensation it was confused but he really enjoyed it .

" do you feel better, Kookie ? " jimin ask on a soft tone his thumb tracing back and forth gently

" y-yeah , thank you hyung" he try tried to avoid his voice from being shaky, failing pathetically

"How about you go and rest ? I can't clean all of this don't worry " his soft expression towards him , he gets up and helps jungkook to get up too 

" ok , thanks hyung , good night " he smile softly at him 

" night kookie "he waved smiling him back 

Jungkook waddled slowly to his room ,he changed into his pajamas and he saw himself in the mirror looking at his swallow belly. He pressed his finger on it , it was still kinda hard from all the food . Fuck he had really overdid it , he had never eating so much and the thing that freak him out the most was the fact that he actually enjoy it , the warm feeling on his middle was almost pleasurable . He shakes his thought off and lying on his bed rubbing his belly until he feel asleep

The following weeks Jimin made sure Jungkook was being well-feed , making sure that he always had food near him and after all of those weeks of indulging some chances were seen on the younger's body .He had gain a noticeable amount of weight on this time , his adbs melted on a proud belly , his once muscular thighs were now thicker , rubbing each other when he walk , his cheeks had get chubbier making him look cute . Also his appetite had grow and jimin make sure he handle him some snack while he was doing homework 

Jungkook wasn't blind about his obvious weight gain which at the beginning was surprising since in his whole life he was fit but suddenly he gain so much weight but then he realized maybe he like how softer he had gotten or how much he liked the pleasure feeling when he is stuff to the brim

But jimin was also liking the younger´s changes , he had always been touchy with  jungkook but lately he couldn't stop himself from hugging or touching discretely his tights or just pinching his cheeks , he was just so cute and sexy for his own sake

That morning jungkook had a class in the afternoon and he was currently struggling to pass his jeans from his knees ,getting out breath just by the small action but he finally manage to do so but now he had a new problem his plush tummy was getting on the way making it difficult to button his jeans , he sighs loudly as he started trying to button it when he hear the older knock the door 

"Come in " he answer as he continue trying to button the jeans 

"Kookie , are you ok ? "He ask in concern as his cheeks blushed at the younger on a way too tight jeans and his tummy making it hard to close them 

"Yeah , i'm just trying to close this jeans but it's so difficult " he mumbled as he sighs again 

"Can i help you , kookie ? " he says as he got closer to the younger as he saw jungkook nod " suck your belly in , it might more easier that way "the younger did was he was told struggling a bit but the older notice so he button the younger's jeans as quickly as he can watching the younger smile 

" Thanks for helping me hyung " he smiles trying to ignore how tight his pants feel as he sits down on his bed to put his shoes on when he hears a loud pop , he looks down realizing that he had popped the button making him blush madly feeling amazed about the fact that he got fat enough to pop a button but at the same way he feeling scared that the older feel disgusted by him  . 

The older eyes widened as his cheeks blushed too realizing how much weight jungkook had gain that he popped a button , there was a pregnant silent between them as the younger feel like he would break into tears if jimin doesnt say something but luckily he did 

He hope he wasn't reading the younger wrong but he always notice the way jungkook "discreetly " stared at his body at the mirror and how he enjoy stuffing himself so he decided to say was he always wanted to say to the younger

"Fuck …. Thats hot " he mumbles as got closer to jungkook watching the younger's cheeks blushed madly 

"Y-you think is hot ? "He ask softly blushing even more when he feel the older rubbing his soft tigh making him bite his lip softly

"Of course …. And i'm sure you do too , i haven't miss the way you look at yourself at the mirror or the way you enjoy indulging yourself so much , baby ~" he whispered near the younger's ear as he rubs the younger's tummy softly hearing him gasp in surprise 

"Fuck ,yes i do " he mumbles as he push his tummy against the older's hand 

"God , jungkook i like you since we were on highschool and now fuck you had gotten so soft that i can help my hand to myself " he hear the younger let out a small moan when he squeeze the younger's lovehandles

"I-i … also like you since highschool ,you had gotten more hot since there " he mumbles shyly as he feel jimin leaning forward kissing him passionately after pulling away to catch their breath as they suddenly heard jungkook's belly rumble in hunger making him blushed

Sighing she places her phone face down and tears threaten to escape. The past few months have been a bit rough on them. After a few hours the front door opens and tom turns the corner. “Hello lovely.” She nods not taking her eyes of the screen. Snacks strewn around the couch and half the bottle empty. Tom takes notice. Sighing he walks to the bedroom and changes into something more comfortable. Standing in front of the tv with his arms crossed. She throws a piece of popcorn at him, “Hey, you are blocking my view.” Tom turns his head and notices she is watching one of his movies. “Darling, I am right here. You do not have to watch this movie.” She picks up her stuff and throws her garbage away, Returning to her spot on the couch. “Well, you’re not home a lot so i have to resort to your movies.” Tom un crossed his arms, “(y/n), i am here more often than anywhere else.” She sits up and points a finger at him. “No, you work all the time. Granted i knew that when i met you and fell in love. But, the fact that when you have time off you are out with all your friends having fun, and i am stuck here.” Toms eyes narrowed. “You know damn well why you can not go with me to the parties.”

“Thomas I was drunk, if they cant get over it then that's their problem.” Tom scoofs, “And they are, it is going to take time. What you said.” She interrupts. “Then tell me what i said!” Toms eyes narrow, “You do not want to know what you said.” Standing up, “If i was so awful then why don't you just leave!” Tom steps forward. “I almost Left ! But dammit (y/n) I love you too much to do that!” Her shoulders slumped in defeat. “Are you leaving again?” Looking down to the floor he nods. “Only for the weekend. I will be back before you know it.” Sitting on the couch bringing her knees to her chest. “Fine, please order us some pizza.” Walking over to her and kneeling down. “Just give it time, They are asking about you.” She lightly shoves him, “But I get you all to myself this weekend.” Kissing her forehead. “Alright it is a deal. I will be here all weekend, I love you and I will text you as much as I can when I am gone.” Grabbing his hand she plays with the promise ring on his finger. “Promise?” Sitting next to her he curls up in the blanket with her. “Yes, i promise. You have my full attention for the next three days.”

Getting comfortable she snuggles next to him. “Alright, order the pizza and put on a movie!”

After a few minutes tom comes back and plops next to her. Wrapping his arms around her and nuzzles into her neck. Leaving butterfly kisses behind her ear. A small moan escapes her, “Tom, Stop, I am trying to watch this.” A deep chuckle, “You are watching ragnarok, Your king is right here, Willing to please you. 1 - ecmocard meeting with ppl from aussie to learn to sort out data. Felt better after the meeting cause i didnt feel like doing anything before. Got two season deli box cake from dapur cokelat for nessa. Videocalled w her and ren.

2 - dr eva chatted and gave things to do. I also need to make intern log for dr retha. I just cant bring myself to start. Finally mustered the courage. Im not the type of person for wfh. At least in this house. Finished reading love or hate. I rly felt like shit at night.

3 - started reading positively yours. Had no will to do anything

4 - some more sending spss work for dr eva. weekdays with no “outside work” rly render me useless in functioning. a vegetable

5 - iluni webinar. Lost my attention during electrolyte and fluid stuff. tried to cook ribeye steak lmao (meat from @/fridaymeatshop). Its too chewy and leathery. But its not too welldone. And at least it tastes good. Went to depok by krl. its quite quick since krl arrived just after im at poris and duri. went ahead of silvi devi. satpam on the lobby wont open the access hhhh (i dont have one. i dunno why. mom said she cant find it although we supposedly have 2). but my mood improved once im upstairs. we prepped a bit of deco. conversed in the dark so not to make racheel suspicious. surprisee. had truffle belly chicken cheese for dinner. the cheese was not to cheesy, its more of a gentle taste. mushroom tastes better. we watched sweet and sour from my mobile data. surprisingly, its not that much of data. slept at like 12-1ish

6 - the electric token went out in the morning. we went for a walk in ui. the PLK man across of st ui forbade us from going in. ugh. but it was rly empty. so we went from barel. its empty on the library. there was a dog that walked along with us. talked a bit in front of the lake. went back. i got 2 moon chicken (the basic flavor and not the wings) and spicy jumeokbap. the jumeokbap was nothing like what i had in korea. like the seaweed’s taste doesnt come out that much, and its not that flavorful/savory. the one in korea its good even by itself. went back to jkt nebeng reza silvi with devi. originally planned to go to flavola, but my head kinda hurts, so i finished my moon chicken at the mushola and asked juan to pick me up. still feel healthy and normal after going and staying out, so i started reading a book abt handwriting analysis lmaoo. fell asleep. tried several attempts to figure out my bpjs number and turns out the best there is to respond is BPJS’ twitter. the problem was solved under 5 mins. 

7 - woke up, fell asleep again. Adita told me that i might be interviewed today for the ipd intern but theres no info. Did the registration stuff for my bpjs. Registered for npwp. Watched bts x na pd

8 - off to RSF. its audit day today. hiks to phonecall follow up work. i did not do anything inaco related, i just sat there and did dr dafsah’s excel. dr vera bought me pecel ayam hehe yay. went to como park to meet up with indah regen. tried ricotta pizza from pizza place (33k). the cheese is cheese but not that typical cheesy (?) coupled with mushroom. i had to add sauce to withstand the last bites (still kinda full). tried other’s as well, pesto and mushroom. pesto had the most taste. while waiting for doggo to arrive, we bought gelato (S: 35k). apparently their special flavor was ricotta lmao. tried green tea (bitter, which i like) and peanut butter + caramel, which makes you feel thirsty. watched the doggos from the sidelines. after maghrib we went to 1/15. ordered ice mocha (50k). the chocolate taste stood out more. not gonna order again lol. the staff initially recommended pandan flavor. took grab to gbk station to go home.

9 - rsf. second audit day. i hate it here lmao. im not even paid for my time here. excused myself to eat. turns out mbak Ai bought hokben. i almost forgot thanking her since i felt hungry with a bit of headache. talked a bit with dr retha regarding changes of assistant (since internship is soon). went back and immediately laid down in bed. mom bought pizza so thats what i ate for dinner. fell asleep (i can feel it. my face will get consequences)

10 - cant bring myself to do anything. i reread painter of the night lmao. seungho is a prick. inhun is also a prick (a greedy one). ate arirang bone marrow. put the egg-seasoning mixture to the pan since im not confident enough to just pour boiling water into the bowl. felt surprisingly full. went to sbux. green tea latte as usual. but turns out tumblr 50% promo only applies to sbux member. so i had to pay 40k for my green tea latte. at least i got to feel good from outside vibes. did some follow up for INACO patients. 

11 - went to rm rsf. Took lots of photos of RM. I was given rujak by the rm staff lmaoo so cute. Didnt do any entry afterwards lmao i just laid down

12 - breakfast is paldo jjajangmen and egg. It tasted like soy. Its good but not in a micin way. Its quite fulfilling. Had some of the beef slices by putting it in a buttered pan (is it pan fried? Grilled? Idk). Had banana and brownies together (makes it rly good). Did a bit of clires work. I drank sbux's caramel macchiato but yall my stomach cant handle it lmao. It hurts so much that i even got a headache. So i just laid down in bed

13 - had arirang again loll. Inserted the egg to the pan still, but quicker this time. Its too salty today. Maybe its not enough water. I was eating it while googling how to remove excess sodium. Ate the rest of beef slices (shared with bros ofc) and mixed some with moms fried rice. Ate banana brownies again. Felt soooo full. Did some clires work accompanied by sbux matcha

14 - i felt like shit this morning. Watched leahs vid. Listened to her podcast while having bfast. I walked from moms car to bougenville while still feeling like shit. It slowly gets better afterwards, thankfully. Did some clires and follow up. Went to gandy steak in dr retha's car (which had anesthesiology textbook inside). Tried aus sirloin steak. The bread tasted ok. The garlic bread also ok. The mashed potato was so so (the one in depok was more creamy and smooth). The steak was good, especially the fat part, the sauce so so. Honestly that depok steak had more value for money compared to this, i think. Nebeng dr rara and husband to busway station. Arrived in ar and i immediately showered, such wow 👏👏

15 - today is no rsf day aka self made wfh day. Moms getting vaccinated today. I just lazed. And read kanej fics

16 - off to rsf. Took care of rm stuff. Tried social affair's croffle since i was so curious (60k [10k tip]). The nutella and cinnamon sugar one. Its crunchy and a bit crumbly inside, but not as fragile as croissant. Its quite fulfilling too. But its basically flour batter variations. (thats what mom would say). randomly chatted racheel and we ended up taking a walk and a bit of jog citra 6 (with my sneakon regular shoes). My left tendon was screaming lol. Picked up by juan who surprisingly effortlessly found the address at night.

17 - mbak aan chatted me today to go to rscm. Met prof murdani at pesc and he gave me ppt assigment for 13:30 THAT DAY. Finished it unsatisfyingly (i wish i couldve done more). Lunch was free bebek bkb yay thankyou Prof c: (he even asked what did i ate) took care of legalisir stuff. Went home by tj. Drank matcha w vsoy and i somehow was not sleepy after maghrib. I also changed my desj layout. Maybe it kinda works to separate my spaces

18 - arrived at rscm at 8-ish. sent updated thibbun nabawi ppt. literature search. and then somehow its 14:30. went to SCI w ara wani rasyid. tried bandeng nyonya, oyster, salmon, cumi lada garam (its crazy good among all the good tasting food wtff), shrimp and pocai telor (veggie stuff). dessert was thailand cassava. spent about 190k. went back by TJ. had wudu at pulomas and prayed ashar on the bus lol. i passed out after playing w my phone lmaoo  

19 - spent almost the whole day just sleeping and eating. finally showered in the afternoon. had matcha vsoy latte after maghrib and with enough day sleeping, i did presentation outline. at like 1/2 am i initially planned to sleep but my eyes still have plenty of watts. so i read hold me tight. slept at like 4/5 am

20 - woke up at 9. off to om dokter’s house to ask for healthy letter. we talked almost the entire time im there lol. before u know it mom and dad’s done talking with grandma. om dokter shared some of his experiences in the past. and he said something about making your choice and living with it, and it will all have a meaning even if you might initially agonize about it. girl i was holding back tears. here he was talking about choices, something i never rly talk about at my house. im getting teary just typing this. he talked about it in a way that sounds simple, even though i agonized abt internship choices and sometimes avoid thinking about it. it rly rly was a new experience. i dont rly talk about “choices” with my parents. so hearing how to go through options in life from a person i can relate to regarding this med stuff is. i feel like i would have loved it if i can hear his wisdom earlier. i dont talk with him much if my parents are around bcs they will just meddle and say stuff that wreck my peace. they dont rly know what im going through but can be very opinionated. this peaceful one on one talk rly made me feel relieved and reassured. and i was today years old when i found out he initially wanted to be a psychiatrist. he would have been a great psychiatrist. i feel like we have some understanding thats left unsaid. like he knows how my parents are like. he would probably understand why i dont talk with him much at AR. after what feels super quick, we went back to AR. registered for STR. searched some literature for the topics that Prof is the moderator of. powered by matcha energy

21 - rscm as usual. the Prof did not come. lunch was bread i brought from home. waited for mom to pick me up at kfc so i bought pukis kfc. its like properly made pukis and not the street seller made ones. the chocolate one was good since the toppings generous. felt a bit feverish? like my body felt warm. fell asleep and then suddenly its 6 am in the morning. 

22 - Prof still did not came. had amart’s ayam penyet jamur for lunch. turns out juan bought ayam geprek gendut for dinner. night time is diarrhea time lmaooooo. did not feel sleepy at AR but i skipped shower again lmao,,,,,,,, and then suddenly its morning again

23 - jajan from sisterfield today. tried their carrot cake and kopi susu gula aren. the carrot cake has that carrot texture. its different. the icing was fresh cream cheese that made the cake taste good. the coffee made my stomach ache a bit. it has that subtle chocolatey taste. fell asleep again. third time’s the charm (of 1x/day face wash). woke up at 3 am planning to sleep but i ended up washing my face. turns out atikah was still awake due to AZ fever.

24 - this is the bestest sleep i had in this week (?) had a dream about going to bandung and the car falling to water. forgot my headset today. can finally meet prof Mur. talked abt inaco stuff w agassi. reread komugi meruem lmaoo. felll asleep. somehow had the misfortune of hearing dad’s hurtful words to mom. i want to fall asleep again but its difficuly. i went through stages of pent up anger, some sort of selfishness (i will go out from jakarta for internship), amazement to mom, and... 25 - lunch was dori rice from kanprim thanks to rasyid’s jastip. watched bts’ butter norebang lolll :(((. arrived at AR the fastest ive been. mom came to me right before maghrib and  summed some stuff dad said yesterday. she handled it in a trivial way. like she was unaffected. and that somehow helped me too. stuck around in the dining room for a while after maghrib. talked about internship w mom. i left some chance for dad to yap yap abt whatever related to internship (thankfully songs were full volume through my wireless headset) while im inhaling through my matcha latte. i wont write what he said bcs its lowkey super embarrassing. thank the gods for wireless speakers. 

26 - did not do anything productive today. Had arirang salted egg for bfast (wont repurchase). Had the meat cubes i bought online and its rly good. Ran with racil at citra 6. The tendon in my left feet hurt lol. Gmeet with ara et al to discuss internship review

27 - lazed. Wanted to start my day early but couldnt bring myself to. Binge watched twoset videos. Did clires stuff. 1 more RM to wait from IRMIK. No gastro intern work this weekend aaaa im starting to panic.

28 - juan came along otw to rscm. Talked about iship otw. brought tons of stuff to eat, including matcha latte, but i was unable to finish it lol. Discussed research budgeting w Prof. Didnt do anything in home. Starting to panic with my ppt progress.

30 - prof did not come to dept today. Listemed to agassi rambling abt intern stuff. Immediately opened my laptop in ar. Watched two set. Dreamt an internet friend who lives in socal came to visit and at one point cut her own hair to have an undercut. It was rly messy but she was proud of it so i didnt want to say. We were supposed to go get food but she and her friend had a list of places that all sucked and were not unique to the area like cicis pizza. then i was at the apt and i think there was a stray dog? And i was driving around. Another part of the dream my partner was sleeping on the couch and i went outside. We were living in a house we'd just bought but there was a bunch of the previous owners stuff bc he had died and nobody cleaned it. There was a stack of boxes or something and a succulent in a small planter that i wanted to replant. Then an old lady came by and i introduced myself. Also earlier in the dream i met some girl who rly wanted my autograph but i dont remember why.

So yesterday in news, eh? People are acting like animals honestly. The sheer righteousness founded on lies and intolerance is mind boggling. I wonder how much of it was for clout, disguised as patriotism. I saw a yt vid afterwards of someone saying how peaceful the occupation was. He also claimed that 2020 was nothing compared to what 2021 will be, and that theyre going to bring a revolution. With talk like that in plain sight (ie not on private message boards or chats) it makes me wonder if people will feel so bold that an assassination attempt might happen. At least many congress people regardless of party (that i saw as of yesterday evening) were condemning what happened. Its all rly fucked up. These people are out there. It doesnt matter if we get a new president. Theyre still out there, and right now they feel powerful.

Kelsey let out a breath when she was finished putting everything together and glanced at the time as she walked into her small kitchen. She gotten two glasses, grabbed her ice cube tray and emptied the ice into a random ice bucket that she had gotten from a hotel in California. She pulled out her phone, waiting anxious. She was looking forward to this with Scott, since it might end up being fun instead of a disaster.

Scott had managed to quickly shower after work. He had been called out to a small fire, and while it wasn't a huge disaster, Scott could still smell the smoke on him. It didn't take him long to finish up and drive off to buy the promised Dingdongs, as well as some pizzas. Within a small matter of time, Scott pulled up at Kelsey's place and got out of his car to make his way up to the door. He was honestly looking forward to this; he needed an evening where he could just relax and watch some great Halloween films, and he was happy that it was in Kelsey's company. He knocked on the door and once she opened the door, he stood there with the food and a bright smile on his lips. "Hiya! You ordered a Scott, complete with snacks? Batteries are not included."

Kelsey smiled when she saw him standing there and did a quick snap of her fingers. "Darn, I was so looking forward to having batteries. I guess next time." She replied as she stepped to the side and shut it behind him. "You can put the pizzas and the Dingdongs on the coffee table and let me get our cups and drinks. Also, beware of the skeleton in the corner, it's motion activated." She headed into the kitchen, grabbed their cups and paper plates along with napkins then she headed back into the living room.

Scott grinned as he walked in and set the food down. Looking around for a bit, he saw the coffee table and nodded and put the food down. Obviously, when Kelsey mentioned the skeleton, Scott couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He was the kind of guy to walk down the aisle of Toys R' Us and press every button, so he /had/ to try this out too. Standing in front of it, it started going off and Scott couldn't help but laugh. "I love this!" He said, loud enough for Kelsey to hear it.

Kelsey glanced up to see Scott in front of the skeleton and let out a laugh along with a grin. "Good! Im glad that you love it!" She replied at the same volume, grabbed the movie stack and pulled out the first movie that they will watch. Once it was in the blu-ray player, she grabbed the bowl that came with it and placed in its hands. "That way, the kids can grab the candy out of the bowl and enjoy the skeleton as well." She glanced up at him and looked at the Skeleton.

Scott looked back over his shoulder to catch Kelsey's reaction and laughed with her. He loved Halloween - not because of the kids coming around, but because of the atmosphere. There was something cozy and nice about staying in and watching all of those scary movies made for the occasion. "That's really clever!" He said, before walking over and sitting on the couch. "So we're starting with "The Addams Family", right?"

Kelsey "Yeah, I also painted a thing for Halloween but Im still in the process of finishing it up." Kelsey replied as she followed him to the couch and moved some of the pillows. She nodded as she grabbed the bag of popcorn she had gotten from work and glanced over at him with a smile. "Yes and after that, 'The Addams Family Values.' because why stop after the first one?" She slipped off her shoes and gotten more comfortable on the couch. "You can make yourself at home too."

Scott was already loving this. He hadn't seen those movies in /forever/, so it was such an epic throwback. Nodding, Scott took his shoes off too and settled more down on the couch, so he was comfortable. After that, he unbuttoned his jeans - just to feel more at home. "I'm so happy that I'm watching these films with you, because thank God, you have great taste," He told her with a big smile. "For the last three years, I've been working during Halloween and I never thought to start early on the films, so I'm glad that we're doing this, you know?"

Kelsey tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and smile as she glanced over at him. "Well, thank you and Im glad that you're happy. I was afraid that I would be watching these films by myself." She moved where her body was kind of facing him and the screen as she talked. "Ouch, that doesnt sound too much fun and of course. Do you have to work this Halloween?"

Scott shrugged his shoulders. "I could never pass the opportunity of watching Halloween films with a friend," Scott told Kelsey, leaning his head back a bit and smiling at her. He was so relaxed right now, it was nice. "Whenever you want to watch these films again - even if it's tomorrow - I'll be here," He grinned at her and looked back at the screen to watch the opening credits. He quickly licked his lips before looking back at Kelsey, opening his mouth to respond. "I actually have no idea. I hope not. I've taken extra shifts during holidays, like Christmas and Easter, so I really hope that I get this year's Halloween off. But who knows." He told her, shrugging his shoulders. "If I do though, I'm /so/ dressing up as Batman!"

Kelsey returned the smile as she gotten more comfortable after grabbing the stereo remote and looked at him as she rested her head against the back of the couch. "Great, I'll make sure to let you know." She returned the grin before she glanced at the screen, adjusted the volume some and stretched out her legs some. She glanced back at him as he talked, nodded as she listened and placed the remotes on the table. "Hope so, because I was going to ask you if you wanted to hang out on Halloween." She grinned. "You better and you better send me pics."

Scott reached over and grabbed a plate and put a slice of pizza on it. He nodded eagerly, hearing what she had to say. "Oh, definitely! Like, if I have the day off, I'll be here, in my Batman outfit, watching "Hocus Pocus" with you!" Scott told her, taking a bite of his pizza. "Then you get the experience the real Batman, and not just a picture-kind." He grinned and looked back at the screen to focus on the film now.

Kelsey let out a laugh when she heard him and nodded. "You better be!" She replied as she grabbed a slice for herself and took a bite out of it as he spoke. "I rather experience the real Batman than the picture kind." She swallowed as she looked at the screen as she gotten more comfortable.

Scott scoffed and grinned. " Who wouldn't?" He said, rhetorically and finished eating his pizza. He leaned back into the couch again, his arm stretching out on the backrest, above Kelsey. "I love Morticia and Gomez's relationship," Scott started, looking over at the girl next to him. "They're totally couple-goals, with their mutual respect and support." Scott was becoming more and more comfortable, sitting there in Kelsey's house, and he was really relaxing with her.

Kelsey shrugged a bit as she finished her slice and grabbed a napkin from the table. She leaned back against the couch once more as she glanced over at him as he spoke, nodded in agreement as she spread out the blanket once her hands were free and looked over at him. "Right? Their relationship is prime example of a healthy relationship." She leaned somewhat towards him and felt herself relaxed around him.

Scott had always admired Morticia and Gomez's relationship and could only wish for one like it, himself. Obviously, without the need to "torture" each other. A bit further into the film, Scott realized that he and Kelsey were pretty much cuddling; she was tucked into his body and he pretty much had his arm around her. Honestly, he wasn't that experienced of a cuddler, but this seemed safe to do and it felt nice enough to have the warmth of her body at his side. It felt safe, in a way.

Kelsey covered them both up mindlessly as she watched the movie and let out a sigh of content. She rested her head on his chest, hoping it was okay and knew that if someone walked into her apartment and saw them like this, they would be asking questions and wondered if the two friends were a couple. She knew that Morticia and Gomez had a great relationship, something that she idolized ever since she was a kid but wasn't for sure if she would find something like that.

Scott was grateful for Kelsey putting the blanket over the both of them, feeling like it was a real movie-night now. He didn't think too much of it when she started to cuddle him even more, with her head on his chest and all. It felt quite natural if you asked him. Like she just kinda belonged there. He wasn't sure if she felt anything for him, except for just pure friendliness - which he was completely fine with. Scott treasured each and every one of his friends and knew that if he tried anything with one of them, there could end up being consequences. Looking down at the girl who was resting on him, he smiled and sighed contently. "I think I connect with Wednesday on a spiritual level."

Kelsey draped an arm around his chest and let out a sigh of relaxation. She felt safe there, knowing that all of her problems rather melted away per say. She had like Scott more than anything and didn't know he returned the feelings. She glanced up at him as he started to talk, raised an eyebrow as she thought it was interesting and rested her chin on his chest as she looked up at her. "Oh yeah? How come?"

Scott shrugged his shoulders and raised his eyebrows, thinking about it a bit. "Well, she's genuinely very bitter and doesn't have time for losers," Scott said, knowing that he certainly could be very bitter - just more about himself than anything else. And Scott didn't allow himself to be around people who didn't want him anyway; people who he thought were losers for not wanting his company. "And she's overall just a badass, and I'm sorry, but have you looked at me?" Scott said, smirking slightly. "I'm like the baddest ass in the Evans clan."

Kelsey nodded as she agreed and smirked a little bit. "This is true and I have looked at you. Oh yeah, you're totally the bad ass of the Evans. You also have a great ass so." She said, without thinking and swallowed some. "Im also the bad ass of my family, so I totally get it." She quickly looked away and back at the screen, knew that she remembered this movie by heart then back at him.

Scott couldn't help but let out a chuckle. The fact that they were even talking about this just meant that Scott was really comfortable in Kelsey's company. He let out a laugh as he heard a comment but then continued to listen as she continued. He nodded, agreeing with her. "Thanks for the compliment, by the way." He said, giving her a slight nudge with his side. He looked back at the film to watch it, knowing how much he loved it.

Kelsey smiled when she felt him give her a slight nudge. "You're welcome." She replied as she gotten comfortable and rested her head on his chest once more as she watched it. She draped her arm over him again and let out sigh.
