Given the success of the last poll, I've decided to do a little reorganizing! The timeline of this series now goes as follows:
Between Heaven and Earth
Main story. Takes place from 1898 to 1918 (or 834 to 854, if you're on Paradis).
Nur für die Schwachen
Side story. Takes place during the summer of 1914 (850).
ALL THESE THINGS THAT I'VE DONE
Collection of side stories. Takes place sometime during 1919*. (I might end up putting this in a different series altogether, for the sake of the new timeline.)
Armistice and well, i think i would for you have been taken out of the series for the sake of continuity, but are still avaliable to read.

Eren Jaeger & Annie Leonhart, comunidad de FanFiction en español.
                                 EreAnnie Spanish Fanfiction Community
Sorry for bad editing, I’m half asleep... lol

A Foolproof Plan
Rating: G -T; for comic mischief.
Pairing: EreAni, Eren x Annie. Hints of other pairings.
Summary: How would Annie Leonhart ask her date to the Sadie Hawkin’s Dance? Here’s how! (No guarantees that it will all go smoothly… especially when your friends are idiots.)
Word Count: 1678
A/N: I love the RBA trio. Btw, this is slightly crack lol. That is all.
“Have you asked anyone to Sadies yet?”
If Annie Leonhart had to hear that question one more time…
Shiganshina High School’s Annual Sadie Hawkins’ Dance was but a week away.
All of her buddies had successfully asked their dates. Sasha was going with Connie, asking him after one particularly heated night of karaoke. Mikasa and Armin were going as friends, the crafty usage of a fortune cookie ultimately sealing the deal. Krista asked Reiner before first period with the help of a few others, each wearing t-shirts spelling out: S-A-D-I-E-S-?
Krista insisted on being the question mark.
Ymir coerced Bertolt using a charming combination of cleverly arranged Hershey’s kisses and brute force, putting on a show for everyone after his basketball game.
Someone managed to record the entire spectacle and upload it on YouTube. The video had over a hundred thousand hits last time Bertolt checked, lowkey dying of embarrassment but happy to have a date to the dance nonetheless.
At first, Annie was unsure if she even wanted to go, but her friends just wouldn’t give her a break.
“Come on, Annie!”
“Don’t be lame!”
“You have to go!”
The crew continued egging her on for the next couple days, reminding her that her crush had yet to be asked.
“I heard Eren doesn’t have a date yet.”
“You should ask him.”
“Do it!”
Annie was surprised Eren hadn’t been asked by anyone. When she mulled it over, the hints he kept dropping her at lunch made it seem as though he was waiting for her to ask him.
Hints within the realm of: “Wow, it sucks that I haven’t been asked to Sadies yet!”
And: “So I heard you haven’t asked anyone yet, Annie. Interesting…”
The real kicker: “Just so you know, Annie, I’m not doing anything Friday. Huh. That’s funny. Friday just so happens to be Sadies! What a coincidence, right?!”
Okay, okay. It was pretty obvious what he was trying to convey.
But how was Annie Leonhart going to play this out?
Everyone else had asked their dates in such cute and clever ways.
Mikasa practically went out of her way to ask Armin! A fortune cookie with the proposal written on the little piece of paper inside. A fortune cookie! A fortune cookie? Like, who does that?!
Sasha went all out with her Karaoke plan, stealing Connie’s heart by crooning away with songs like ‘Baby Come Back,’ and ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy.’
Krista had planned her proposal weeks in advance, ordering the special-made t-shirts ahead of time.
Ymir was going to be hard to top. No doubt, she made Bertolt an offer he couldn’t refuse, given her persuasive methods. It’s hard to say ‘no’ when a hottie with more sass than freaking Deadpool has you in a near chokehold and throws Hershey’s (and then literal) kisses all over your face.
In front of everyone at a varsity basketball game.
Annie was never the super competitive type, but she didn’t want to seem lazy either.
She couldn’t let her friends show her up, especially since it was their senior year.
It was do or die. Now or never. All or nothing.
This was it. Today was the day.
Annie Leonhart was ready to ask Eren Jaeger to the Sadie Hawkin’s Dance!
The only thing left for her to do was to time this out right. For now, she’d have to be quiet and remain perfectly still.
With the help of Reiner and Bertolt, she devised a foolproof plan, needing only a large cardboard box and a bag of gumballs.
Said bag of gumballs were in her hands. As for Annie, she was hiding in the giant cardboard box, carried delicately by Bertolt and Reiner as though they were handling a sort of ‘package.’ Seeing as how she only weighed around one hundred and ten pounds, she may as well have been a feather; no match for the muscular arms of her assistants.
The plan was for Reiner and Bertolt to ‘deliver’ the box containing the petite Annie to Eren’s house and from there, before Eren could open it- Booyah!
She’d burst open from the inside and surprise him!
Such a genius, she was!
Annie could make out a few distinct sounds from her position inside the box, readying herself mentally when she heard Reiner ring the doorbell to Eren’s house.
The door opened, followed by a slightly audible conversation.
“Reiner? Bertolt?” Eren looked back and forth between the two in confusion. “What are you guys doing here?”
Bertolt was sweating nervously, as usual. Reiner had the biggest shit-eating grin plastered on his face.
“Special delivery for Eren Jaeger.” Reiner had one hell of a hard time suppressing a hearty laugh. It was making his stomach hurt. His lungs especially needed the release.
Eren raised a brow as the two gently lowered the ‘package’ to the ground.
“What’s this all about?” Eren asked.
Bertolt began stuttering. Reiner took a step back.
“Why don’t you open it?” Reiner clapped his hands together, figuring that was a good enough cue for Annie. He wanted to see how the rest would play out
“Uh… okay.” Eren shrugged.
Before he could move to try and open his package, he was taken aback when the box started… moving.
Inside the box, poor Annie began worrying. Why couldn’t she jump out in a glorious blaze like she’d seen in the movies?
Shit, she thought. I can’t get out!
“Guys,” Eren stammered, “is there something… inside the box?”
His question went unanswered as Reiner’s eyes widened in horror. “Bertolt… when I said ‘use the glue on the kitchen counter,’ you didn’t happen to reach for the yellow bottle, did you? The one with the missing label?”
Bertolt nodded. “Uhh… well… yeah. I used that one”
“That was super glue, Bertolt!” Reiner shouted in agony. “Shit!”
“Oh, no!” Bertolt gasped.
Eren grimaced. “So, how the hell am I gonna get this thing open?!” The box kept jumbling around. Whatever, or whoever, was inside seemed desperate to get out. “And who the hell uses super glue instead of ya know, TAPE, to seal a package?!”
“We ran out of tape! Look, there’s no time to explain, Eren! We gotta get it open!” Reiner hastily picked up the box and tried frantically to pry it open with no more than his bare hands.
“I don’t think that’ll work, Reiner!” Bertolt implored the blond beast to settle it carefully on the front lawn and then quickly said a prayer. “Forgive me, Annie.” He whispered.
To the horror of those in his presence, he began kicking the sides of the box in an effort to weaken its construct.
“What the hell?!” Eren gasped.
“Bertolt! No!” Reiner ran to stop his friend from continuing. “That’s not how we’ll get it open.” Reiner rolled up his sleeves. “This is how we’ll get it open.”
With that, he began punching the top of the hefty cardboard box, with the intention of doling out enough damage to free the enslaved Annie from the package’s restraints.
Eren could only watch in shock, frozen where he stood like a deer in a headlight.
He came to his senses when he heard something inside squeal in distress.
“Stop!” Eren dashed over to stop the idiots from causing any further damage. “Didn’t you hear that just now? It made a noise!”
“It did?” Bertolt and Reiner asked in unison.
Eren paused for a moment and sighed. “This isn’t some kind of prank, right?” The chances of them messing with him were high, but the concerned looks on their faces appeared genuine.
When both giants shook their heads, Eren exhaled sharply and began walking to his garage.
“This thing is indestructible. I’m gonna go grab my dad’s chainsaw.”
Bertolt and Reiner nearly choked at his suggestion.
“You can’t be serious!” They cried out in sheer defeat.
“What choice do we have?!”
Just when all hope seemed lost, the box rumbled and jumbled around, like a volcano about to erupt.
Though the boys had no way of knowing what was happening, it wouldn’t be long before all their worries could be cast aside. Thankfully.
Annie, by the grace of gods above, hadn’t been harmed by the barbaric acts of her friends in their attempts at freeing her. She had been placed in the box with loads of bubblewrap and crinkle-cut paper as a means of cushioning her inside.
As a fall back plan, she had brought a special ring gifted to her from her father; a ring with a small sharp folding blade sheathed within.
Using the blade, she began methodically tearing away, finally managing to free herself after a few swipes.
Annie burst out of the box and stood up victoriously. After briefly dusting her knees, she reached for the bag of gumballs at her feet and made her way over to where Eren was standing.
All three boys were at a loss for words, watching her as though she had just risen from the grave.
“Here.” She handed Eren the gumballs nonchalantly, like the last few minutes never happened. “Open it.”
“Annie…” Eren couldn’t formulate a proper sentence, voice emptily trailing off.
Bertolt suddenly lost consciousness and fainted, to which Reiner gathered him in his arms to catch his fall. He fanned away at Bertolt, casually offering words of encouragement while trying not to laugh.
“Calm down,” he sighed. “Everything turned out all right.”
In another setting, Eren had hurriedly opened the bag of gumballs and fished out a small note inside.
The note read; I finally have the balls to ask you to Sadies.
Awh! Such neat hand-writing, too!
Eren smiled and looked back at Annie, pulling her in for a hug.
“Took you long enough,” he said, squeezing her tight.
Annie smirked, completely satisfied.
Although her plan hadn’t quite worked out the way she had intended, it was certainly one for the books.
Who else could say their date was about to use a chainsaw to free them from being stuffed inside a box?
Suffice to say, she definitely outshined all her friends- and even managed to surprise herself.

such a beautiful dress to be a blade
Summary:
Annie has a weird attraction for an old-style red dress in the store she goes with her friend as weird as her attraction to her schoolmate, Eren Yeager. Nobody would expect the beautiful dress could be a blade that could hurt anyone, including her.
Notes:
Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama. I don’t take any material advantage by writing this story.
This fanfiction is my very first contribution to EreAnnie although I had shipped them since the very first time I watched Attack on Titan in 2017 (yes, that was soo late). I finally manage and present this for Ereannieweek2020! This should be for the second day prompt, rebirth | reincarnation, but I couldn't make it in time ><
Warning: Grammatical errors.
Available on AO3 and FFN.
Annie has never owned a dress except for the dresses that her dad bought when she was still a kid. It's not really her style and she doesn't need one. She always refuses to go to a party anyway. She likes skinny jeans and hoodies better. The idea of fashion inside her head is anything that's comfortable and easy to wear. Dresses definitely aren't on the list.
In the middle of accompanying Hitch doing shopping for the prom, a particular dress attracts her eyes. The dress fits perfectly on its mannequin. Its color is red. It looks like 1940s dresses because of the short sleeves, wrinkles on the breasts and hips, and a ban with the exact color and material with every part of the dress on the waist. It has some black buttons right in front of it. She wonders why this dress is even here—in 2018—when the other styles in the store are fulfilling the trends nowadays.
Her eyes search for any worker and when she spots one, she waves her hand. Hitch is gone to the changing room so she doesn't have to think about any commentary that probably will come from her friend's mouth.
"Can I help you?" asks the worker.
"Can I buy this dress?" asks Annie without missing a beat. She doesn't even know the price of the dress yet, but the strong urge to buy it convinces her. Her finger points to the mannequin.
"Please wait for a minute, Miss."
The worker is gone but Hitch is back. Annie feels something uncomfortable in the middle of her throat. Awkwardness surrounds her entire body thinking about the worker will be back and take the dress off of the mannequin then give it to her.
"I'm done. I'll buy this dress," Hitch says. She motions the elegant baby blue dress back and forth. She looks at it with glimmers in her eyes. "Isn't it beautiful?"
Annie takes a look at the dress and just nods. She becomes agitated when she sees the worker walk towards her. The worker smiles. She undoes the dress from the mannequin and gives it to her. "Here it is, Miss."
Annie clears her throat and nods. "Thank you."
"The changing room is over there if you want to try this on first."
"I don't need to." Because Annie is sure the dress will fit her perfectly and she won't change her mind since she had never ever wanted a dress as much as her longing right now.
The worker nods. "Please just call me if you need anything." She goes and leaves Annie with Hitch behind.
She can feel Hitch's surprised gaze on her. Suddenly she feels dizzy.
"So you decide to accept Eren's invitation to the prom? What? You had never told me this." She looks pissed and Annie just rolls her eyes.
"Buying a dress doesn't mean I agree to go to the prom with him. You know I dislike that kind of thing."
"So where would you wear this dress?" Hitch observes the dress. "And why did you pick this one anyway? You don't even want to try this on first?" She narrows her eyes. "It looks … old."
"I know."
"Annie, I could pick you something better—"
"I don't wanna."
Hitch lets out a long breath and rolls her eyes. "Whatever." She walks first then takes a glance at Annie. "Let's pay for my beautiful dress and your …,” she wrinkles her nose, “your great grandmother's old dress."
Annie wants to respond with a smart remark, but thinking that it would be a hassle, she just lets it go. She follows Hitch to the cashier and pays for the dress right after her close friend did. Luckily, she brings a pretty much amount of money although she didn't have an intention to buy anything except desserts. Her father insisted on letting her bring them all after he had heard that she would accompany Hitch to buy a dress for the prom. In case you want to buy one too, he said. Annie told him no but still brought the money to comply with what her father asked in the end.
After they are done with the transaction, they go to the cake shop to buy some desserts. Annie can’t buy as many as she intended because her money went for the dress, but she regrets nothing. Her father’s smile when he sees her bringing a dress home makes her day so much better.
The boys from the taekwondo club are sparing one by one in the gym. The girls will get their turn right after the boys are done with their spar. There are a lot of people to be watched, but Annie’s focus comes to Eren and every movement he does. Pathetic, Annie says mentally. He always gives her impressions that he is pathetic at this but still pays attention to him anyway. She folds her arms in front of her chest and shakes her head when once again Eren got kicked.
Since the very first day they met, back in the first grade of high school, there's something inside Eren that always attracts Annie every time they pass each other. Her eyes always follow him until he disappears from her eyesight. It's not something romantic, she knows. She doesn't have a crush on him. She's sure if she tells anyone about this, they would romanticize it like that. But it's far from that. It feels like they're familiar with something that she couldn't understand.
She realizes that he does the same, but she always pretends like she doesn’t know. Maybe, Eren is also aware that he gets her attention but acts like he knows nothing too. Sometimes he asks her to teach him how to kick asses and makes him win the spar. She assumed that he asked her because she always got the best grade for it. At the very first request, Annie was about to say no because she knew it wouldn’t be a one-time thing, but she didn’t know why she eventually agreed. Maybe because of the ununderstandable attraction she had for him, or maybe because she was feeling emphatic for his patheticness.
Annie has planned to leave the club earlier than usual because she knows Eren will approach her and ask her to teach him again. It means she has to give him the answer to the prom invitation too. She currently has no idea what to answer. She needs more time. It feels weird that she couldn't just deny him from the start because something like prom is absolutely not her thing. She really wonders why.
"Annie!" Eren calls. Annie closes her eyes and expels a long breath. Her attempt to run away failed.
She turns her body to face him. Her heart is beating so loud until she is afraid that he will hear it. She swallows her saliva and nods. Her eyes are full of questions.
"I still can't master what you teach," he complains. "It has been, what, almost four months?!"
Eren just joined the club five months ago. It was considered late because this was their senior year and it wasn't time for joining a club for the first time. She doesn't know his reason and doesn't bother to ask, it's his business anyway. But it makes him be the lamest one if compared to all of the seniors inside the club. He still has the same ban as the first grade.
"Maybe I'm not a good teacher," says Annie with an indifferent tone. "You can ask other people."
Eren shakes his head. "That's not what I mean. It's just me who's pathetic. You're great, Annie. Everything you told is catchable and easy to comprehend. I understand everything but I'm just bad at executing."
Annie takes some steps towards Eren until they are only separated by one meter. She poses the fighting stance and looks straight to Eren's eyes.
"Attack me. I won't defend. I'll try my best to evaluate your mistake."
He controls his breathing before obeying what she has told. He pulls her collar and kicks her feet until she falls. Annie presses her chin to her neck to prevent her head from bumping the floor.
"It feels easy because you don't defend! It won't happen in a spar."
Annie gets up, fixes his fighting stance, and presses his shoulders. "Relax. You're too tense." She doesn't know if she is just imagining, but she can hear his fastened heartbeat. When she feels Eren's muscles are relaxing, she pulls her hand off of him. "Do it again."
He does it again and again until she tells him that he is much better. She reminds him to not be tense but push his strength as far as he can.
"Just practice more. Kick and punch a punching bag or something. You'll be better." Annie swipes her forehead that's covered with perspiration. "I'm off." Annie turns around and swiftly takes some steps away from Eren.
"Have you had your answer?" Eren asks loudly.
Annie is startled. She couldn't move at all. She closes her eyes and controls her breathing. Her throat feels dry.
"Answer for what?" she asks, pretending that she forgets. She doesn't even face him.
She hears Eren clearing his throat. "I asked you to go to the prom with me."
"Oh. That." Annie takes a long breath before turning her body. Heat is forming in her face. She tries so hard to look straight to his eyes without acting like a coy girl. "Honestly, I don't like being in the middle of the crowd. The prom will put me in a hard situation."
"So you refuse," Eren doesn't hide his disappointment in his voice at all.
"But I have a dress." Annie contemplates for a while. Her right hand touches her left shoulder, feeling awkward. "I don't think I have a chance to wear it except for the prom." The light in Eren's eyes is brightening. She tries so hard to fight her smile. "My dress is red. Take note of that for the corsage."
She turns her body and walks swiftly. Her heart drops when Eren holds her wrist. "I don't know where to pick you."
Annie wriggles her hand until he releases it. "I'll text you my address."
She almost runs and dimly hears he said "thank you" in between.
Annie has no idea how to put makeup on her face. Hitch was excited when she heard that Annie finally decided to go to the prom. She wanted to dress Annie up but she also will have the need to dress herself first. They both will go to the same prom at the same time. So she ended up borrowing Annie some of her makeup and gave her a short beauty class. Still, Annie doesn't know what to do and has to dig some direction from YouTube.
Her father said that she looked beautiful and she hopes he was being honest. He seems happy seeing her in a dress, with her hair laid down, and makeup that emphasizes her pretty face. His face features change after seeing Eren picking her up. He gives him a vicious look but still takes some photos of them both before they are leaving.
"Sorry, my father's not usually like that," says Annie when they are already in Eren's car. Her gaze is on the corsage that wraps her wrist and at the same flower on Eren's tuxedo. It looks beautiful. The color of the roses is ivory and it has a red bow. She wonders if he asked his adoptive sister's or mother's opinion about picking the corsage.
"So you had another guy that ever came to your house," Eren mutters with a distasteful tone.
Annie narrows her eyes. "No."
"But you said that your father was not usually like that."
"Yes. I mean towards me."
Annie feels that her blood is flowing faster when she hears Eren's pure laugh and smile. "Of course."
"How about Mikasa?" asks Annie, thinking about her rival in some things and Eren's adoptive sister. She expects that Mikasa would be upset hearing Eren take her to the prom and wonders how he finally manages.
"What's with her?"
"She doesn't like me."
Eren chuckles. "She gave me the same look as your father's but just let it go. I don't like that she goes to the prom with someone I dislike too, so we're even."
"Who? Jean?"
Eren snorts. "Who else?"
Annie camouflages her giggle with a cough.
When they arrive, Eren holds Annie's arm when she is about to open the door. "Let me open it for you," he says. Her face burns and she's sure its color is red but not because of the blush on. Her heart is beating faster when he takes her hand after opening the door and doesn't let it go.
"Is it okay?" Eren asks.
Annie just nods because she loses her voice. She is sure she doesn't have a crush on him that's why she thinks everything that she feels right now is weird. Maybe it's because of the idea of going to prom as a couple and it goes like how some romantic movies portrayed them. She still walks awkwardly and she guesses Eren can feel that. He squeezes her hand and she becomes calmer.
They take a picture in the photo booth once. Annie feels that everyone's eyes are on her. Maybe because she is known as a lone wolf but somehow goes to the prom with a guy. Eren is really understanding, he takes her to the place that's free from the crowd. He tells her to sit and he fetches two glasses of punch for them. He sits right beside her. They enjoy the silence between them. Although she doesn't like a crowded place like this, she unexpectedly feels comfortable.
Eren puts his glass on the table and turns his body to face her.  "Can I ask you something?" he asks. Annie nods.
"Do you believe in reincarnation?"
Annie frowns. "What?"
"You heard me."
"Yes. But why would you ask that?"
Eren scratches his head awkwardly and averts his gaze from her. He doesn't immediately answer. He takes a long breath and massages his hand before facing her again. "You look like someone who reincarnated from the 1940s."
Annie cancels to gulp her punch. She looks at his eyes and he seems serious, but there's a hint of doubt. Her whole body is electrified by something she couldn't understand. Her breath suddenly feels heavy. She feels dizzy. She tries to act like she's okay, and assuming from Eren's response, she nails it.
"Maybe it's because of the dress."
Eren is agape and shakes his head. He is silent for a while. He still looks at her in the eyes and palms his face. He seems exasperated.
"Can I tell you something? I'm going to be honest but it might freak you out."
Hearing the same seriousness that he reflects on his eyes, Annie puts her glass on the table. She takes a deep breath. Her heart is beating faster because somehow she knows this will be crucial. "Go on."
Eren takes a deep breath and releases it over and over. When he looks much calmer, he opens his mouth. "I often had a dream about me knowing you in a whole different place and time." He paused. "We were close. You were my childhood friend. When we were exactly at our age right now, the war started and we were the victims. We were … the Eldian. You know about that, right? About 1940s history? How the world discriminated against the Eldian, tortured them first before killing them until there was no one left from them?"
"I know." Annie swallows her bitter saliva. She holds her head since it suddenly feels heavy. She feels nauseous. Her eyes look at anything but Eren because seeing him brings her a big pang in her chest. She can't breathe. "It has nothing to do with our life. It's just a dream," she tells him and convinces herself. Something inside her head contradicts what she said.
"Are you okay?" Worry fills his voice. "I freaked you out, didn't I?"
"No," she whispers. "I just … I just need some fresh air."
Eren caresses her arm. He helps her to stand up. "Let's go outside."
Annie contemplates Eren's presence beside her right now and later. In the end, she just nods and walks with him. His hand is still holding her arm tightly as if afraid she will fall if he lets go. They sit on the park bench and the dizziness that Annie felt is gone. She palms her face and shakes her head.
"What's wrong with me …," she mumbles.
Eren holds her free hand with both of his hands. "Your hand is so cold." He rubs his hand on her to produce warmth. "But you're sweating. Are you sick?"
"I'm not. This shocks me too. I don't remember ever being sick." She stares at their linked hand and releases her breath. "I feel better now."
Her words do nothing on Eren. He still rubs his hands on hers. Annie lets him and doesn't pull her hand from him.
They sit in the middle of comfortable silence. Annie enjoys the warmth that Eren gives to her. She grasps his hand, it makes him look at her. She shakes her head to tell him nothing, then he continues rubbing his hands on hers.
"You're really a hot-blooded person," she says suddenly. Some people often tell him that because of how easy he gets angry. She notifies him for another meaning.
Eren grins. "I take that as a compliment." He eyes their linked hands. "And you're really an ice queen. Not anymore, though."
Annie smiles slightly. "That's obviously not a compliment."
Eren chuckles and it makes her smile wider. He releases one of his hands and only holds her right hand with his left one. He fills the space between her fingers and takes her hand onto his thigh. He grips it tightly with his hand under.
Her eyesight automatically follows his movement. It makes her stare at his pants, then her gaze is shifting to his tuxedo. She blushes and scratches her cheeks using the back of her free hand. At the same time, something uncomfortable makes her hard to breathe and swallow her saliva.
"Is this …," she asks hesitantly, "your grandfather's tuxedo?"
She eyes his face, anticipating an offended expression. He shows none of it. He bends his neck to stare at his clothes. His tuxedo looks longer than what other students wear. The long collars cross each other. The buttons are not placed on the edge of each side, so the left side of the tuxedo covers some space of the right side.
"It looks old, doesn't it?" His voice sounds deeper.
"Yeah."
"It's mine. I bought it. I don't know why this tuxedo attracted me. My mom chose another for me but I want nothing but this suit." He shrugs. "How about you? Is this your grandma's dress?"
"No. I bought it too," she says. "Hitch didn't like it. She said it was my great grandmother's old dress when we were about to pay."
"These make both of us an oldies couple. What a coincidence." He laughs. His eyes are slanting because of his wide smile. "But it looks good on you. You're beautiful."
"Thank—"
It looks good on you. You're beautiful.
It looks good on you. You're beautiful.
"It looks good on you. You're beautiful," said Eren when he pulled Annie closer to him.
A soldier kicked the door from the outside until it crumbled. The other soldiers broke in and directed their rifles toward everyone in the room. The music that played as the backsound of their slow dance stopped. Loud and muffled screams were everywhere, including one that came from Annie. She looked at Eren and he seemed as terrified as she was.
"Show yourself, Annie Leonhart, Eren Yeager, you disgusting Eldians. You two have been caught faking your identity. We will count until three. If the two of you don't show up until then, we'll shoot everyone in here."
The screams were getting louder and louder. The ballroom had turned into chaos. Everyone was screaming their name in anger. Eren held her hand and asked her to run. He had faced the soldier who talked even before he started counting. He let go of her hand and raised his hands in surrender.
"Don't shoot anyone. I'm Eren Yeager." His hands were trembling but his voice sounded like a brave man.
Annie stepped forward. "I'm," she gulped, "I'm Annie Leonhart."
The soldier laughed and spat on his face. Eren cringed, but he did nothing. Two other soldiers held his arms, his face showed nothing but hopelessness. When the other soldiers touched Annie inappropriately, she screamed. She wriggled and almost kicked and punched the soldiers but the pain that shot her chest stopped her. "I promise we will have a better life someday!" she heard Eren shouting. She looked up and realized he was the one who shot her using one of the soldiers' rifles. Tears were streaming down his face.
Annie covers her mouth to hold her vomit. Tears are wetting her cheeks. She feels incredible pain in her chest. She loses her breath. Eren cups her face and forces her to look straight into his eyes. He is crying and looks as surprised as she is.
"What … was … that …," he asks in the middle of his discontinuous breath.
Annie wriggles her head and steps back. "You killed me," she croaks. "You killed me."
His eyes are widened. "You …," he seems to hesitate, "you saw that too?"
She shakes her head and still covers her mouth. Her sobs are getting harder and harder. The scene that was played after Eren said that the dress looked good on her and she was beautiful showed that they were using the same clothing as what they're using now. His question tells her that the scene was playing inside his head too. She recalls Eren asked her about her belief in reincarnation and told her the story of his dream, how those brought terrible nausea on her, then suddenly everything made sense. That also explained why she had a weird attraction for him ever since they met, why she chose that dress, why he picked the tuxedo, and why she also got his attention although they rarely talked except when he asked her to teach him. It feels like tonight was destined for them to finally see their past life and for Eren to fulfill his promise. But she can't take it at all.
Without answering his question, which was already obvious from her reaction and expression, she runs away. She takes a taxi to go home. Her father is shocked when he sees that his daughter is crying after a night that is supposed to be incredible. He hugs her and doesn't force her to tell him anything. She tells him nothing but the sound of her whimpers.
"We were … the Eldian. You know about that, right? About 1940s history? How the world discriminated against the Eldian, tortured them first before killing them until there was no one left from them?" she recalls what Eren told. She doesn't understand why his words could stop her cry.
It has been three weeks since the prom night and she never sees Eren again. Their school is over too, so they don't have any chance to meet. It's not like she wants to meet him anyway. The pain she felt that night still resonates in every breath she takes until now. She can't imagine meeting him at all.
After that night happened, she researches 1940s world history deeper. All she knew was what was taught from school and it didn't feel enough. Seeing how bad the Marleyans treated the Eldians suffocates her. She doesn't know how Eren's mind worked in their past life until he decided to kill her exactly right there, but she feels better imagining herself didn't have to go through the horrible torture. He promised her a better life and maybe this is supposed to be their better life but she feels like she doesn't want to deal with him anymore.
For now, she restricts herself from thinking about anything that's not college-related. She dispels every thought about the reincarnation and refuses to tell that to anyone even Hitch. People will laugh at her for that anyway. She shakes her head when she realizes that she starts thinking about that again. She turns off her studying lamp, closes the curtain, lays herself in the bed, and pulls her blanket to cover her body. When she is about to close her eyes, the sound of something knocking her window prevents her. At the first knock, she just ignores it. But when it has become a repetition, she clicks her tongue and gets up to shout at anyone who disturbs her.
With anger burning within her, she opens the window. She looks downward and sees Eren almost throws a pebble to her window again. Her eyes are widened, she closes the window immediately. She hears Eren screams her name, then a muffled shout follows. She completely ignores what he does and how it could wake his father then make him miserable because her father thought Eren hurt her at the prom. She hears another knock at her window, but she covers her ears using a pillow. She closes her eyes and holds her tears.
Her vibrating phone distracts her. She opens the locked screen. Her breath is gone when she sees Eren was the one who texted her. She chooses to ignore it but she already read it from the notification bar.
Did you see me shoot myself?
Chills hit her skin and bones. She contemplates responding to Eren or not and she decides to open the window again. He is still there. His hand is instructing her to go down and meet him. She releases a long breath before complying. She doesn't care that she is still using her sleepwear.
Eren looks relieved when he sees her walking out of her house. "Thank you for—"
"I don't need your small talks," she cuts him. "Straight to the point."
He takes a deep breath. "Alright." He pauses and looks into her eyes. She tries to hold her tears. "What's your answer to what I asked you in the text?"
Annie looks at her feet. "I didn't." She feels suffocated again.
"Then let me tell you, please," he pleads.
She thinks about it for a while and nods after Eren said please once again.
"Is there any place for us to sit?"
"Chairs on the porch."
"Alright. Please lead me there."
Annie complies without saying anything. They sit on where Annie told him. The wind is cold but it isn't what makes her shiver. She refuses to look at Eren.
"Annie," he calls. "Annie, please look at me."
She shakes her head.
"But would you listen?"
She nods.
"Alright." He pauses for a while. She can hear him drumming his fingers on the table. "I saw me shooting myself after I did it to you. I guess you didn't see that because you didn't have a chance to see it too then. I didn't know the reason at the very first time I saw it at the prom, but now I know. My dreams told me. Over and over."
"Tell me," she croaks. She looks up to hold her tears.
"I thought it was better to die there so we didn't have to go through the torture. I hated seeing you being treated inappropriately there and I couldn't imagine worse than that," he says with a deep voice. He gulps his saliva. Annie eyes him. Perspirations are forming on his forehead. He seems frustrated. "I shot myself because I couldn't believe what I did to you. And I couldn't imagine living a life being tortured by my own memories of me shooting you. I didn't care about what the Marleyans would do to me."
Silence surrounds them, but it's not a comfortable one. Eren doesn't seem to have another word and Annie doesn't say anything. They are quiet for a few minutes. The quietness hurts her even more. Her tongue tastes bitter. She just wants to sleep and forgets everything. When she is about to get up and go back to her house, Eren breaks the silence by asking, "Did you hear what I said that night?"
Annie controls her breathing. She narrows her eyes. "Which one?"
"When I promised us a better life someday." He looks at her. "I think someday is right now. In this life. No one discriminates toward us. This is the better life, Annie."
"Maybe you're right," she answers. "But it doesn't mean we have to go through it together. We are nothing now." She closes her eyes tightly recalling they were lovers in their past life.
Eren seems to want to argue, but he shakes his head after Annie drops a tear. "I …."
"Forget it." Annie wipes her tears. She gets up and walks to her door. Eren holds her arm.
"Wait."
Annie stays still. When Eren doesn't say or do anything, she continues walking.
"I just want you to know that I like you since the first grade, despite the fact that we were attached in our past life or not." She holds her movement when she is about to turn the doorknob. "And I'll always be here for you every time you need me."
Ignoring her fastened heartbeat and the pain that is forming in her chest, she opens the door, walks inside, and closes it without saying anything.
...
Annie couldn't stop thinking about Eren's confession although two months have passed after that. Besides that, what he told about his dreams also comes to her dreams and she could see how close they were since they were kids and feel how much they loved each other. One time, she dreamed about them sharing a kiss in their past life then she woke up with a burning face. She could feel the way his lips moving on hers until now.
When everything about Eren really distracts her from thinking straight, she texts him and asks him to meet her. He complies. They meet in the school although they are the alumnus right now.
"Do you need anything?" Eren asks straight to the point after greeting her. He smiles softly.
Annie blushes. She puts her hand on her chest and can feel how fast her heartbeat has become. She fakes a cough. "What do you have in mind to make this a better life?" she asks coyly. She hates that she doesn't look like the girl she used to be.
Eren pulls her chin and looks into her eyes. She feels she is being observed and her face is burning even more. "Really?" he asks.
Annie is exasperated. "Yes."
He beams at her and it almost makes her smile. He takes her hand and fills the space between her fingers.
"A date would be nice."
Annie loses her control to hold her smile. She clutches his hand. "Alright."

Being a Shifter has its perks, but also limitations; trying to combat the steam is hell in colder, damp weather. Annie's still wearing his cloak. It helps her focus, walking over to check if the stove is lit, courtesy of the other soldiers. Eren curses, surveying the path she takes with a measure of disdain that would be amusing if he weren't shivering.
"What's wrong?" Annie drawls.
"You're trackin' water in," he grumbles.
"You can take care of that later," says Annie shortly. "We should clean ourselves up first."

Ereannie Holiday Event: Day 1, New Years Eve/New Years Kisses
Annie and Eren are up late on December 31st waiting for the new year to come, Annie is leaning on Eren's shoulder with her hoodie up as shes cold, Eren is happy to let her do this. They had been here for a while, everyone was here for a new year party until one to many people got to drunk and fell on the floor leading to any able body to carry them out. Annie had a cup of hot chocolate as she had a few do many drinks while Eren had both a beer and coffee with the coffee in his hands, they were sitting on a couch looking out a window at the starry night. The minutes pass with the two of them looking to the nights sky. Eren moves his eyes down to look at his ice princess, while most saw her as a stone cold bitch he saw her as a girl who was very talented and beautiful. Annie didn't think that highly of Eren, she thought he had some work to be done though he is learning fast, she was incredibly grateful for him giving her a chance when others passed her by.
"This is nice" Annie says "yeah, it is" Eren says smiling. Annie had a sip of her hot chocolate, after putting her cup down she reaches up for a kiss, Eren tilts his head down to meet her lips, the warmth of each other was joyful for the both of them. they pulled away from each other to see fireworks going off in the sky as the new year officially dawned. The two of them see the vibrant colours in the sky, most were variations of reds and orange making themselves known against the black of night. Later on more colours came up with Blues and greens, Annie seemed to like these more then the ones from before. The two haven't moved at all, Eren was still on being used as Annie's pillow with her resting on his shoulder, using her hood for more cushioning.
As more fireworks came up the two resumed there kissing session with the explosions in the sky not being a distraction for them. No one was there to stop them, the time couldn't be better, everything about this moment was perfect. As the fireworks came to a close the two separated, Eren saw the brightness of the fireworks light up Annie's beautiful face. Annie saw the one she loved, she would not forget this night, she promised herself that.
Annie yawned, it was late and the alcohol was still having some effect, Eren saw this and decided to take the lead. Eren picked Annie up by her legs and back taking her out of the room carrying her like a princess out the door, Annie put her arms round his head and didn't stop looking at him. Eren walked down a few hallways towards Annie's room, he looked down to see Annie blushing, he did the same thing seeing her. Eren was looking around to see if anyone was here, not many people knew of his and Annie relationship and Annie wanted to keep it low key, they knew everyone saw them train together but most dismissed that as Eren being to over his head or possibly a sucker for pain. Eren came to Annie's room, he used Annie's feet to open the handle, they came in quietly which was a good thing as Hitch was sleeping, Annie was placed by Eren in her bed as she pulled her covers over her, they shared one last kiss for the night, "happy new year, love you" Eren says "love you" Annie says back before Eren starts to walk off and Annie falls asleep.

An Unbearable Sight [EreAni] - a (not so) small update post
An Unbearable Sight
by Ponderess aka leviplease
An alternative take on the developments after Annie's capture by the Scouting Legion with a focus on the relationship between her and Eren.
Rated M for sexual themes and graphic violence.
Read the entire story up to chapter 35 on: - AO3 - Fanfiction.net
If you're one of my (long-term) readers then I want to say thank you for the support and all the patience. I know updates have become a rarity and the (often) uncertain wait can be frustrating as a reader.
If you're new to this story and don't feel discouraged by the load of already published words and the infrequent updates then welcome aboard. I hope you enjoy your stay.
This update post is for any and all of you.
I confess that chapter 36 has been sitting in my drafts about halfway done for months. So I don't have a full chapter update for you, but I brought a little sneak peak which you can read below. (Somewhere beneath my rambling.)
This story has been a part of my life for over 5 years now. Maybe some of you remember how it started out as a one-shot, but I had more ideas for it so I kept going and now we're here. Sometimes I still cannot believe it.
A lot has happened since I wrote and posted the first part and there are certainly things that I would do differently by now, but it is what it is. My goal is to work with what I have and take it to a satisfying conclusion, regardless of how long it's going to take and how confusing the differences between my story and canon might be now that the manga has revealed so much more than what we knew back in 2013  — the year I laid the groundwork for the lore of this story.
Back then I honestly didn't know where the journey would go and even now I’m not entirely sure. I hope we get to find out together.
PS: I recently remade leviplease for a couple of reasons. Feel free to (re)follow for more infrequent story updates and general SnK content.
Previews for Chapter 36:
(Yes, it's two previews from two different scenes.)
Preview 1:
"Why me?" Eren questioned. "Why do I always have to prove myself?" Though his voice didn't erupt, he felt the spark of anger light up in his stomach. He hadn't even been aware that it was there, but now that it was boiling up he needed to vent. "It's been like this since the battle in Trost. 'Prove that you're not a monster, prove that you're on humanity's side' — I'm sick of it! It's not like I chose to become a shifter."
It wasn't fair. Maybe a part of Eren had always felt that way, but now he felt it as unmistakably as the scorching heat in summer.
"I know you didn't." Armin remained calm, his voice taking on a soothing tone. "I'm just asking you to be honest. Can't you see that you keeping things to yourself is only giving Commander Hange and the other veterans unnecessary reason to worry?"
Eren looked away. "I can't do that."
"Is it because of Annie?" Armin probed and Eren didn't like it at all that she was being brought up again. "You want to protect her, is tha—"
"That's not it!" In all his life Eren would have never thought he'd find himself staring down his childhood friend with so much defiance. Yet here he was, glaring at Armin with more ferocity than during any argument they ever had. It was like a gap had formed between them and it hurt him. He didn't want this, he had never intended to be at odds with Armin — or Mikasa who took a concerned step towards him.
"Eren!"
Closing his eyes, Eren took a deep breath to calm himself down. His gaze was softer when it found Armin's eyes again. Armin looked neither taken aback nor hurt by his behaviour and he could feel a sense of relief in the depths of his stomach.
"I want to protect Annie, that's true, and I'm prepared to bargain for her safety if I must," Eren clarified. "But I'm also doing this for myself — to protect myself."
"Eren…" Now Armin's voice sounded almost weak with his concern. Maybe he feared he had been pushing Eren too much. "What secret could you possibly be keeping? Don't tell me…you have reason to believe that it would make people turn against you?"
"I won't let anyone harm you," Mikasa insisted. "That won't change no matter what."
Eren let his head sink and looked down on his hand which he held up in front of his stomach, folding and unfolding his fingers. It was almost like he could feel the tingling of power in it again and the lightheadedness of pushing himself to his limits. That power he trained so hard these past six months to control, that power which left him uneasy. No one should have this power, is what he had thought when uncovering it — and he still believed as much. Yet it was also his most vital trump card. He had tried to be confident about it when negotiating with Hange, but in truth it unsettled him. How could anyone else trust him with this power if he couldn't even justify it to himself?
Preview 2:
"Considering to make good for yesterday when we got interrupted?" Annie questioned though she would have to inform him that she wasn't in the mood. She pulled up her pants and slipped into her boots.
"What?"
As she looked over her shoulder, she caught sight of the confusion on Eren's face. He blinked as if he'd just emerged from the depths of his own mind.
"What's the matter with you?" Annie prompted him and picked up her sweater.
Eren sighed and it raised her concern. He'd seemed troubled even after Ymir left last night, maybe even more than when he had still thought Ymir was going to kill him for what he'd told Christa — or well, Historia. But she wasn't going to lose her head over it. Considering their current situation it was no surprise he was strained. It looked like neither of them was going to catch a break any time soon.
"Mikasa told me you found my father," Eren claimed and Annie's heart sank in her chest. She had hoped to avoid this, but it was what she got for letting information like that slip when talking to Mikasa of all people. She kept her cool despite it and continued to dress herself.
"Did she tell you that?"
"I'm going to skip waiting for your confirmation and just get right to the part where I ask you this: Why didn't you tell me?" If his voice was anything to go by, Eren wasn't mad. Annie braced herself regardless before she turned around and faced him. The thoughtful look hadn't disappeared from his eyes. She realised now that he was searching her for the answer to the question that was so pressing on his mind. "I just don't get why after six months of being together and opening up to each other you would keep something so important from me — you know how important it is, right?"
"Yeah, I know," Annie stated in a quiet tone, but her calmness was just a front to hide the turmoil inside. "It's because all of the time we spent together and the things we shared that I know how much what your father did to you really troubled you. You only just started putting it behind you." As she continued talking, bits and pieces of her mask started to chip away though she was still able to uphold her composure. "I didn't want to bring that all back, I didn't want you to have another thing to worry about."
"I appreciate your concern, Annie, but it's fi—"
"Shut up!" Annie hissed before Eren could finish that cursed sentence as if the news about his father were nothing to him. "Don't you dare tell me it's fine!" The feelings she had been holding in were pressing to the surface and making her voice shake. "To me it isn't fine! I'm scared of what it means that your father is still alive. I'm scared of the things he might know, the things he could tell you, the things he could ask of you."
She took a breath to calm herself. Her voice was hoarse. "I don't want him anywhere near you."
Eren didn't respond, he just looked at her with eyes so wide and open that she could read all the emotions in them: the surprise, the affection, the heartbreak. His bottom lip quivered until he pressed his mouth closed. Annie almost couldn't bear to watch. Had she hurt him with her words despite not meaning to or was she misreading his expression? He seemed troubled and it pained her to look at him like that.
When Eren stepped towards Annie she didn't know what to expect. Frozen to the spot, she could only wait until he pulled her into a hug. It caught her off guard, yet offered her relief. His arms held her tight and his lips placed several frantic kisses on the top of her head.
"I love you, I love you, I love you," he mumbled breathlessly into her hair. "I wish I could say it like you do with all these heartfelt words, but they tend to fail me, so all I have are these three: I love you."

the sky and what's left above it
Summary: Three years didn't leave much room for error and she'd had plenty for regrets. With any luck, this decision wouldn't ever become one of them. (Post-Canon AU)
a/n: Technically, it's in the same universe-soup as Between Heaven & Earth, but I couldn't find a narratively appropriate spot for it, so uh, here you go. Smut below the cut.
In the hotel, she rolled over, naked under thin sheets. The window was shut. Sunlight filtering in through curtains. The candle was still on the end-table, wick frozen in a coagulated wax pool.
The previous Vice-Captain of the Warrior Unit and humanity's greatest pariah since Wilhelm Tybur. It wasn't as if either of them would be of use to Marley without their powers. Living vestiges of a more savage time in mankind's history. Annie was willing to let the more impassioned Warriors take up that diplomantic mantle in her stead.
Eren, on paper, should've been a better choice despite the controversy. But he'd refused. He was just another soldier. If his own country wouldn't take him back, that was as much an answer as he'd wait for.
Elopement was a better deal than being sent to Heaven. There was no one to invite on Eren's side, and Annie agreed to secrecy, but Galliard and Finger and Braun showed up to congratulate them anyway. It was Grice's brother that tipped them off. The officant in the courthouse had been understanding. Her father's silence was itself a blessing.
Three years didn't leave much room for error and she'd had plenty for regrets. With any luck, this decision wouldn't ever become one of them. Or she wouldn't live to see the day.
An impression of his body against crumpled sheets. Eren must have gone out while she was sleeping.
She took the opportunity to wash up, throwing on an older shirt and some chinos. Her wristlet was in her jacket pocket. Late morning. She'd fallen asleep with his arm around her waist. It was the first time in a while they'd slept in the same bed for more than a couple of hours, but neither of them seemed to manage more than six. On the train out of Liberio, he'd kissed her knuckles, where a ring ought to be, and told her he loved her.
She passed her thumb along the spot. He ought to have left a note, at least. They were supposed to take a train to Mer tonight. From there, they'd board a boat and get out of Marley and make a new home in one of the Mid-Eastern countries.
The door opened. Eren walked in. He resembled the old disguise, sans the lack of leg. Sunlight caught the circles under his eyes. He looked at her and shifted into a friendlier demeanor.
"I thought I'd woken you."
Annie shrugged. "I woke up late."
Eren walked over. "Just got the tickets. We could get something to eat," he began, "the train isn't due to leave until this afternoon," but she'd wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his chin. He'd need another shave, though he couldn't grow much of a beard. A soft sound of surprise stuck in his throat before he tipped his head down.
"Will you come to bed?" she whispered.
He chuckled. Slipping under the circle of her arms, he glanced at his own wristlet. "Yeah," he husked, shrugging out of the suit, unfastening his trousers, "I'll be with you in a moment."
She sat on edge of the bed, Eren dropped to his knees in front of her.
She slid her leg across his shoulder and he seemed to get the idea. Turning to kiss her thigh. A fist in his hair tugged him forward, and he husked out a laugh that went right to her aching flesh.
Time fell away. Her shaky breaths and his slow lapping. Stifling a moan, her head craned back to meet the sheets. Her face in the crook of her elbow. His hand groped about, finding hers atop his head and squeezing. There wasn’t a defense against tenderness.
Afterward, he pushed himself up to kiss her belly, breasts. Nudged her arm aside to steal a kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck. When he came up for air, she had him in a headlock. Eren didn't seem to mind. His thumb dipped between her legs. Rough half-circles. Her jaw snapped open. Just as his rhythm picked up, he pulled away to step out of his chinos. She sucked in a breath closer to a sob. She wasn't sure how much more teasing she could take.
He stopped. "Does that hurt?"
"N-no," she panted, mouth curling, "I just—need you."
Talking felt like a waste of breath, so she lifted her hips. His arm slipped under her waist, braced her against his thighs, as he reached down to guide himself. She took a deep breath as he entered, getting comfortable with his size. His lips on her throat. Curve of her chin. Their mouths brushed, too slight for a kiss.
With each roll of his hips, the billow of uneven breaths against each other’s skin, it wasn't desperate. Heat flooding to the rest of her body and his feverish skin. A thread of longing beneath the tenderness. Sex had always been a pragmatic distraction. A means of assertion where words wouldn’t suffice. What else could it be to a Warrior? The child that survived would outlive its parents. If anyone was going to screw an Eldian into her, might as well be him.
Next thrust, the metal bedframe knocked against the wall. A voice on the other side shouted in Marleyan, something about whether they were in a whorehouse.
“Fuck off!” she barked. Last time she’d had to break up fights, she was still living in Liberio. She could never afford to be preoccupied like this. She glanced at Eren. Expression on his face was endearing. "Don't stop," she muttered, switching back to Eldian.
"M'not." Forehead to hers, he took a breath. Pushing himself upright, he squeezed her thigh and muttered, “You’re noisy.”
A year's habitation bled into his voice, blunted his vowels. With a flush burning on her face, she huffed. “You talk like a tourist.”
“Yeah,” switching to accented Marleyan. With his mouth just under her ear, he'd feel how badly she was shaking."Want me to fuck you harder?"
She wriggled back against him. Hiccupy little groans and sighs tumbled from her mouth with each slap of his hips. “That’s it,” he purred, at an angle that made her voice jump another octave. “Take me so well. Made for me, weren’t you?”
Annie would've smirked, but in the throes could only bite her fist. Stealing kisses from the corner of her mouth. Her legs wrapped around his back, spurring him on. An earnest lover, despite his inelegance. Annie couldn't complain.
Release creeping up faster than she could articulate. Her body tightening of its own accord. Their eyes met, and she couldn't keep it together, spine arching, dragging him in the undertow. Eren grabbed the headboard, rhythm turning sloppy. A gasp ripped out of him like he'd been punched and he held himself on trembling arms. Slumped across her as if he'd been shot. She ran a hand through his short-cropped hair. He'd never taken his shirt off.
His breathing evened out before hers. His mouth grazed her cheek. "That good?" She hummed, eyes closed. A warm, firm kiss made her head swim. Pushing himself up, he smoothed her hair from her face. “Don’t fall asleep on me.”
“I’m resting my eyes.”
"There'll be time for that on the train."
He had a little come on his nose. She smirked and thumbed it away, the way Dreyse used to correct her lipstick. He blinked. The ridiculousness of the idea, their situation, caught up with her. Annie started snickering. After a tentative moment, he joined in. Haze of relief, post-coital, lowered her defenses.
"I love you," she said.
His eyes flickered to hers, as if he'd misheard. Annie reached up and touched his face. He kissed the heel of her palm and whispered, "Love you, too."

I talked about writing some EreAni in German and @nakamatoo encouraged me, so here it is. Some vague sci-fi vibes, because I was watching some science fiction, but really, I don't know what I'm doing. Prepare google translate, because I haven’t provided a translation yet and I don’t know when/if I will.
Edit: I provided a translation.
Du sagst mir ja nicht, was du willst."

Uhhhhhhh. Yeah. The 2nd chapter is done and here it is. Probably should have made it a bit longer but couldn’t exactly see a way to do so.
Anyway, flashback time!

Summer Fling Series

Summer Fling Series: An Overture
Premise: Four gal pals return from an exhausting year away at college to their small hometown by the sea for summer break. While balancing their respective part-time jobs and casual social lives, each is met with the prospect of blooming romance… or are they mere summer flings?
Annie works at her father’s ice cream shop to thwart boredom and satisfy her insatiable sweet-tooth... but ends up catching the eye of the new lifeguard.
Ymir only looks out for number one, until she meets a guy who can actually keep up with her. She’s just as surprised as her friends are.
Mikasa enjoys working at the local beach club because it allows her to meet visitors and tourists from all sorts of places. But one stranger in particular makes a deeper, more intimate impression on her than she realizes.
Pieck is everyone’s favorite lazy goofball. Well, almost everyone… her co-worker at the local surf shop thinks otherwise. But damn, she’s starting to grow on him…
Author’s Note: So this is a new project of mine for the summer of 2017! This series will consist of chronological one-shots centered on the main characters and their love interests. Each little ficlet will be written from their point of view throughout the duration of their summer break; separated into the months of June, July, and August. It’s meant to be a short series just for summer fun!
Rating: T; for language and suggestive themes.
Pairings: EreAni, RivaMika, BeruYumi, PokoPiku
