Everyone has a different view on everything these days but one thing I think we can all agree on is that the weather this month in the Mt. Washington Valley has been absolutely amazing!  We have been so fortunate with sunny skies and warm temperatures.   We hope that you have been able to get outside and enjoy some of these great days and that you have been able to visit our beautiful trail system here in the 100-Acre Wood.  Located in Intervale, just a few miles north of North Conway Village, the 100-Acre Wood Trail System offers a variety of trails for walking, running, hiking, and biking!  Each trail is unique in its own way like the Sugar Bush Loop that offers beautiful views of the Saco River and Mt. Washington. Sections of Beaver Hollow, Winnie’s Wandering, and Steeps Shortcut wrap you around a picturesque pond. The Sugar Shack Loop is an easy trail that takes you into the woods and can lead you up to our Storybook Trail. The Storybook Trail is probably our most visited trail in the system as it is open year-round with the story changing weekly for little ones to enjoy!  The ½ mile Storybook Trail allows visitors of all ages to get outside and enjoy a story, while encouraging healthy habits.   All are welcome throughout the 100-Acre Wood Trail System as it is open to the public daily, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or whenever our front gate is open.  Guests are asked for $5 donation per vehicle per day or annual memberships are available for purchase.  Check out www.believeinbooks.org for more information.
