dustin/el, will/lucas, mike/max bffs agenda
dustin loves explaining things he enjoys to people and el loves learning about new thing.
they try to bake together and succeed 1 out of every 14 tries.
el asks dustin to read her books because she doesn’t always understand all the words so dustin will explain them to her or use a word she knows.
the two of them and max will go and just hang out at family video to talk to robin and steve
lucas and will used to pass notes all the time in school
lucas decided to teach will how to play basketball and will ended up scoring on him in the first 10 minutes so lucas refuses to play with him now
will ends up being only like half an inch taller than lucas but he will never let it go
they would switch homework based on who was better at what subjects, like will would do both of their art homework and lucas would do both of their history homework
most people actually assume that mike and max genuinely hate each other and are really confused when they hear them making plans
someone asked if they were dating one time and they both laughed in that persons face
sit in the back of the class together and talk shit about the teacher and other kids
micheal come out to max first just because even if max didn’t accept him, he didn’t think she would tell other people
they tease each other about crushes and the other with kick them in the shin

About Elmax = romantic
I should explain that I was just watching the show till recently and didn't pay huge attention to romantic coding or whatever, so I thought El & Max are just best friends.
All I did was figuring out how they would solve the "Max-Problem". I did and that was sad on its own.
Till I had an epiphany. It hit me like a sledgehammer. And I rejected them. I clearly didn't want them because I knew that the way they'd do it would be to painful. But I cant deny them. I can't deny what I found.
It feels... It is right because it hurts. ElMax is Endgame, they are the game. El was established as liking girls but was supposed to die. Why? Why all this effort, besides the coding the elements put in place like the couple colors of blue and yellow?
Because unlike the more obvious couples, Elmax is the couple that is intended to be kept hidden, treated badly etc. because the more you love a ship you created, the worse you treat it, to make it meaningful.
It is. They are. ElMax will be. It will be absolutely heartbreaking as it will be "moving and beautiful", it is going to tear you apart and you'll love it at the same time.
I feel like Hopper:
So, yes, Elmax is a real thing and they do what korrasami could have been. But unlike that one, that was (fan) fiction turned into fact, the Duffers made fact some believe to be fiction. And will explore this ship because it is Endgame... It IS the game. It's essential to the plot.

thinking about elmax this season is just gonna hurt. pure pain.
el is in school for the first time, getting bullied, with only will at her side (really cool brother but not much of an help if he gets bullied too..), unsure of who she is.
max broke up with lucas who seems to drift away from the party, she’s grieving alone, her life at home doesn’t seem easy either.
they both desperately need each other. max would scare the bullies away and help el understand more about herself while el would help max with her grief bc she was there when it happened and totally gets what she feels.
I just want them back
