The black goop that drips out of EJ’s eye sockets is actually his blood, which has been tainted and infected by the demon possessing his body. It’s much thicker than normal human blood and much stickier, to the point it would take scrubbing really hard to get it off.

It has a few functions too- once the goop touches a living thing it will immediately numb the spot it touched, while sinking into the skin and infecting the blood stream. It’s like a kind of poison, and will quickly drain your energy to make you too exhausted and weak to fight back.

And it’s actually quite difficult to avoid when you’re fighting Jack in direct contact. Whenever he’s wounded the sludge will explode from the injury with a surprisingly wide range, and can easily drench you if you’re too close.

The types of people Eyeless Jack will go after for love, friendship and murder.

Love:

Jack tends to take strong interest in open minded people, since he himself is far from an average human being he knows that a lot of people will treat him differently. He doesn’t want a partner to be judge or apprehensive towards him because of his appearance or inhumane nature

At the same time, he enjoys spending time with intelligent people. While appearance and beauty do somewhat influence who he takes or doesn’t take interest in, personality is the most significant aspect of a person.

To him it is essential that his partner is independent and can spend time by themselves. He is a very busy man. He can’t be there for you, 24/7…. In all honesty he won’t be with you very often unless you start cohabitating and even then, the vast majority of his time will be dedicated towards working and learning.

Friendship:

His friend circle is strongly dictated by his line of work. He is a doctor at the Slender Mansion and no longer human, meaning that he can’t exactly interact with human people.

His deep interest in medicine and autonomy does make him a bit off putting to a lot of people. Some would call his interest an obsession and they would be right, Jack is a workaholic.

Some of his friends include Ben and Jane. His friendship with Ben stems mostly from trauma, while jack doesn’t remember the details of what happened, he does on an instinctual level experience deep discomfort around religious ceremonies and candles.

Jane on the other hand is one of the few inhabitants that has not fully lost herself to the madness, so her perspective on life is much closer to his than those of others.

Murder:

EJ does not usually kill his victims. Instead, he harvests them for things they can live without.

One of the factors that influence that is the where and when. If you enter his territory without his permission and come across his cabin, he will end you. If you encounter him while he is in a more feral state, your life will end. On the other hand, if he is fully in control of himself and you don’t pose him any harm. He will keep you alive and leave you to live your life.

While searching for food Jack tends to go after young adults, he avoids anyone who smells sickly or seems to have alcohol-related issues. Such food would be of no use to him anyways.

The demon inside him does not care for gender, race or age. It will tear apart anyone it can get its hands on.

Jack does his best to ensure that he is the one controlling his body as he does not enjoy killing others. He understands it to be a part of his life, thus it is necessary, however, he does not derive any joy from it.

With that out of the way let's get into it...

♤College days♤

• Jackson Nikolay Adams 'Dmitriev' was a 20 year old med student who was born on the 21 november of 1991.

•Jack went to med school because his dream was to become a Thoratic surgeon one day.

The reason as to why he wanted to become a Thoratic surgeon is because his grandpa died because of a chest wall tumor.

•In his college days he deticated his days to mostly study for his subjects.

•That's why he could be mostly found in his room and with his nose in the books.

• Even though he studied most of the time, he did find the time to sometimes go out to parties that where hosted by his best friend Noah Johnson. Though both men came from wealthy families, they both had different priorities and mindsets in and about life but somehow they made a friendship work out.

•Noah was more of the 'rich fuckboy' type while Jack was more of a 'family man'.

•Even though Jack went to some parties, he never was a fan of them, he just found them pathetic. So he mostly stayed behind and talked to some people who didn't annoy him.

•Jack never realy was a introvert he just selected a view people he deemed worth of his attention and effort.

•In class he was known to be a calm and patient student, a straight A student and as someone who had almost always answers for your questions, that's why he was mostly looked up to as a some sort of mentor figure for new students and he loved and thrived of that because Jack loves to be a mentor figure for younger pals.

♤His past and relationships and more♤

Jack's name before his mother married again was Jackson Nikolay Dmitriev.

• Jack has a Russian dad and a half Polish half Russian mother. but most of his family members from his mothers side live in Poland or America.

• From a young age Jack witnessed all the abuse his father put his mother through. The abuse was emotional and physical.

•And because of that he promised himself that one day he will make sure his mother leaves his father and that he will make sure that his mother never ever will get in this type of relationship ever again.

•Although his biological father didn't abuse him that much as his mother. He did put pressure on Jack to be perfect from a very young age unless he wants to be a burden to his whole families name.

•And Jack feared that because his family made one of the most powerfull people in Russia from secret agents to big company CEO's who almost influenced whole of Russia and his father was the most succesfull one of them . And his family was known to look down upon their own family members but not his father they respected him and maybe even feared him but they dind't fear Jack. And because of that they could look down upon him and if his father would find out that his own perfect young puppet is looked down upon? Who knows what he would do to his mother and Jack himself.

•That's why he started to study from a very young age wich led him to know Russian,Polish and English fluently and even a bit of Greek and Latin.

• He also learned to play the piano and violin.

•When Jack was around eight he witnessed as his father almost grabbed his mother by the hair to throw her head against the wall so he throwed himself infront of his father before he could touch his mother wich led to Jack's head getting smashed against the wall wich resulted in a pretty big head concussion but to his luck not fatal, so he healed from it.

•After this particuler event he tried very hard to convince his mother to leave his father even more then before and luckely he succeeded two years later.

•During this time his grandfather from his mother side died of a chest wall tumor this realy hurted Jack because his grandfather was the only healthy male figure in his life. And here his dream started to become a Thoratic surgeon.

•His mother met a man two years later who's name is Nick Adams. This relationship led to marriege and because of this Jack changed his name to Adams instead of Dmitriev.

•And because I like to at something sweet, I like to think that his mother and her new husband decided to have a child, wich led to a little boy to be born called Alexander, and Jack was very happy to be a brother and a 'teacher'for someone and with this the Adams family was complete and happy.

•And Jack could finally see his mother happy after all the years of abuse.

• This led to a very happy and peacefull life for Jack he even got himself a girlfriend in highschool, however this relationship didn't work out in his last year, because a third party came around in Jack's life. Although he didn't cheat he did become more closer with the new girl because she wanted to become a nurse one day and that interested him and both the new girl and Jack had alot in common. Wich ended in a break up with his girlfriend beacuse she thought he was cheating on her. Altough Jack told her he didn't cheat, they still broke up bacause they both thought that it was the best for them. After this Jack made sure to never ever make the same mistake again and get a third party somehow involved with his relationship. And because of that he cut of all the contact with the new girl and made sure to make a priority to only get close to one girl, a girl who he is in a relationship with or he wants to be in a relationship with. But this breakup really hit him hard wich let him to try and work on himslef. So he decided to focus on his future and health to get his mind off this event.

♤Demon transformation and pre events♤

•In his first year in college he met a girl called Jennifer Hackins in short 'Jenny'.

•Jack was always skeptical about Jenny even when he first met her.

•Jennifer showed interest in him. because she thought of Jack as a proper vessel for the demon that she and her friend group worshiped.

• Jack saw the intrest that Jenny showed him but he was still skeptical but he did end up giving her a chance.

• As Jenny was trying to become closer she realised that it was not working. So she started to stalk Jack in the hopes that he will get scared and give in but this didn't work, it only confirmed his suspicion of her so he gave her in to the police and lucky for him the police did cooperate. And this scared Jenny and her friend group off. So she confinced her friend group to let Jack go as a vessel. Beacuse he was too hard to deal with. But they stiil kept him as an 'option'.

• After this Jack noticed that Jenny and her friend group where avoiding him wich made him happy.

•This went on for over a year. On an unfortunate night when Jack stambeld upon them on his night run and their ritual night, that was at orihinally meant for 'worship' ritueals for their demon 'god' who's name was unknown but is ranked like one of the more powerfull demons.

But when they saw Jack they made up their mind to take him as a vessel. And before Jack could proces everything his world went black and he woke up alone, unclothed and tied up in a cave. He tried to get himslef untied but before it worked the group came back with a man as the leader and Jenny next to him and four other people behind them.

• That's where the long turterous night started for Jack with the cult hoping and praying that Jack will stay alive through all the rituels.

• From being mentally tortured to having boiling hot tar slide down his body and getting forced to drink human blood, consume human flesh, organs and watch the disgusting rituals being performed.

• But Jack was and is a very strong individual mentaly and physicly. So he will not give in that easy, it will take a lot to break him. But a person can only take so much...

As time went by Jack was slipping in and out of consciousness as his heart beat was slowing down with the only thing keeping him from giving in was praying and hoping for a miracle to happen to him.

•At the last ritual Jenny plugged out Jack's eyes. To pour hot boiling tar in his eyes. To finsish of all the rituals and get the reward what they thought will grand them a place in the 'paradise'.

•With the last ritual the demon possesd him but lucky for Jack he still was aware of everything so he still had his human mind or how I like to call it 'being sane'. so the ritual went wrong because the victim needed to be alive not conscious of their surroundings and they also needed them to go 'insane'. But the 'real' reason of Jack still having his human mind and being partly sane was because the demon was suprised that Jack managed to stay conscious and alive and sane all this time. So he respects him for it and that's why he granted Jack to still be able to turn into his human form and have his human mind for some time....

•But Jack was furious so he went feral on all the cult memebers. The only two people who survived just to suffer a fate worse then death was Jennifer Hackins and Nick Jasons who was the leader of the cult.

•Jack found a cabin in the woods where he tortured them for years. The cabin is now one of is hide outs.

•Later he found out that Nick and Jennifer had a thing so he used that knowledge to his advantage.

• At one point Jack got in contact with traficers on the Black Market. So that they would hurt Jenny in front of Nick, the traficers where orderd to tell everything they did to Jenny to Jack and they did that for the most part. They did however not tell Jack about the r*pe that took place in the cabin this made Jack furious. Beacause A: It was against his orders and B: R*pe is something that raelly disgust him, so Jack killed all the traficers in front of Jennifer and Nick and forced them to eat the trafficers flesh, organs and drink their blood. Jack also humilated them both.

•One time he let them go just to chase them down as a feral animal for his own twisted pleasures. At last he made his own 'Russian sleep experiment' he did that experiment till they died. All of this torture took a total of 3 years. Till This day he is still disgusted by his actions that he made out of hatred and anger but he doesn't regret it, because it gave him some sort of peace and closure for his past.

-The DEFINITION of awkward

-During the beginning of the relationship anyway. He just got so flustered and red in the face no matter where you kissed him.

-Doesn’t mean he minds PDA. So you gladly kiss his hands whenever you can

-He specifically likes it when you kiss his hands because he hates his claws with a passion, so seeing you lovingly and gently kiss his hands almost brings him to tears

-When you both are alone he’s much more confident and usually is the one to initiate the makeout sessions

-Gets a little handsy but not really, like the most he’ll do is put his hands on your thighs and waist but nothing more

-Oh and since he has sharp teeth/fangs, will absolutely lose it when you swipe your tongue across his teeth

-Not awkward at all, he could care less if the other pastas are watching, he’ll kiss you without warning

You finally saw him..You were looking at eachothers, not sure what to do - sure, he may be a killer now..but this killer was once your friend? Does he even recognize you? But to your suprise, he just started laughing. It wasn't his casual maniac laughter..this one were more friendly, just like the laugh of him you remembered. The laugh of your best friend. He remembered you..and even if he is way diffrent now, then the part of him is still your best friend. You are finally something good in his miserable life, and he almost felt normal once again. Its funny how you make a man like him smile and sigh in relief, just by your presence. And he doesn't care what he did do somehow deserved you again - all he could do is being grateful for that.

☆ Homicidal Liu

You manage to meet Liu on one, ordinary night. Even if he looked, oh so diffrent, then inside you could still recognize his past self. When it comes to Liu, he couldnt believe his luck in that moment. He craves for sense of normalcy like nothing else, its his only true wish..but now you are here again? He start to remember all this nice moments from his childhood..you were in all of them! Even if he didnt recognize you at first, he felt so many strong emotions and could find something familiar..and like that after a quick chat you finally were in eachothers arms once again. There you were..his only hope and only love, you have no idea how long he had waited for you - and when he finally got you, he wont let you go again.

After everything he had done, Toby really became all this names they used to call him in school - he was a monster, a freak in fact. Could you even look at him in the same, sweet way you used to as a kid? He was scared, constantly scared..so he didnt made a first move. Until that day. When he finally saw you again, he finally felt at peace. The feeling when you were again in his arms felt like coming home from a long journey. He was able to feel the same thing, the same love and care from you. And he already felt much better, just from seeing your smile again.

He was sure you wouldn't recognize him..now he was a monster after all, a inhuman being, a demon straight from poeple nightmares. But he wished, he dreamed that you would look at him in the same way - they way you used to when everything was normal. Meeting you again made him so incredible happy..he almost feel human again! All he could do was just hug you, and sob quietly.. you had so much to talk about, but you have time for that..the only thing that matter is you right now.

☆ Ben Drowned

Ben wasnt the same person you used to cherish and care for..shit, he wasnt even a person, a human anymore. So was he still worth of your friendship? Your sweet words and hugs? Was he even worth looking at you? But he finally decide to meet you once more, he had all eternity and he needs you to make it worth exisitng. So when he showed up at your doors? He had it all planned, the things he will do and say..but just seeing you made him tear up and look in guilt to the ground. His always cool and smug persona, was replaced with the seriousness and culpability. And when you took him into your warm embrace? When you started to shush him ,a dcomfort him? He felt at peace once again, almost like nothing else matters but you both. You already made him the happiest and nothing can compare to you, nothing else in this world.

Not my original hc but I saw someone once saying he purrs in his sleep and AGH YES!!!

Has thermal vision: I think I mentioned this before, but I really enjoy this hc. As I’ve Also said before, he’s got really sensitive hearing and smell because of his lack of proper sight.

Is a gentle giant 100%. As much as Jeff can try his hardest to piss him off, he’s hyper aware of his strength and how easily he could tear someone apart if he lost control and that’s the last thing he wants, so he makes sure to keep his cool

Even if he’s somehow managed to get pissed off, if he can’t leave the situation he’ll just get more verbally aggressive (never physically) but if he CAN leave the situation, he removes himself immediately to make sure he or anyone else isn’t hurt.

Is actually really good with Sally and young kids in general, but has no idea how to handle babies. At all. Mostly because he’s scared he’ll drop them, but also because he can’t communicate with them like he can with young kids, and the crying and screaming babies do really upsets his sensitive hearing and ears 😭

Rarely removes his mask around the other creeps, and only really takes it off infront of sally and when it’s a small group of calmer proxies.

Loves loves LOVES to read books. It’s his favourite thing to do in his spare time

He either really loves or hates coffee, I haven’t made my mind up. But I’m pretty certain that he never drinks alcohol, because he doesn’t ever want to be put in a situation where he’s out of control.

Probably smells blood after he’s eaten, but most of the time has a really nice earthy kinda scent to him

He uses Aussie hair products fight me rn. Look me in the eyes and tell me he doesn’t have luscious curls..

Isn’t overly affectionate at first because he’s a lot more nervous than given credit for, and will sometimes overthink it if he wants to hug you or hold your hand because he’s scared of his claws or misjudging his own strength.

So if you wanna hug him I think he’d, at first, just kinda stand there awkwardly and stiffly but would probably give your head a soft pat or rub your back if you insist.

Eventually he’d probably become a lot more comfortable, and more secure and confident that he wouldn’t hurt you

(It’ll take quite a bit or convincing but oh well)

Is more than happy to let you read with him or be in the Same room as him, no matter what you’re doing. Just being in each others company is sweet and enough :D

Eyeless Jack’s skin is rough and leathery, and seems to have very small feathers on his face, ears, neck, arms, and hands. He always wears gloves & longsleeve clothing to cover it up, as well as his mask obviously. His mask also hides his empty eyesockets and extremely sharp teeth.

Speaking of, his teeth and claws are as sharp as razors, and he has about three rows of his teeth specifically. EJ also has an extremely strong jaw, and can bite through bone with ease like a hyena. His claws and teeth are all retractable, but if he’s hungry or angry then they’ll come out and he won’t be able to get rid of them until he’s no longer hungry.

Hell, thank you for the request :) It's a very interesting idea. I had a lot of fun working on it and hope you enjoy my upcoming headcanons. I was hoping to get this out much sooner but sadly until the end of April, my life is way too full of responsibilities. Though I do love writing for this fandom ^u^

Jack loving and being with a reader that’s a Mortician is a very interesting dynamic within itself. Your profession, the passion and the sparkles in your eyes make the bond you two share so much stronger than it would have been otherwise.

There are many ways you could encounter one another. Perhaps, one day you will be greeted with a strange monstrous creature feeding on one of your patients - out of desperate hunger for the flesh of the deceased. A moment full of evident fear on your part. How could you not be afraid? Who wouldn’t be? And to your surprise, that frightening being will reveal itself to have a much more tender, human-like element to itself. Instead of treating you as his next snack, or a witness who needs to be silenced, he will instead attempt to comfort you. Such a wild scenario, you would think to yourself. And yet the creature would seem so sure in his choice. Because on an instructional level, Jack knew, that this well-organized office and that unique look in your eye screamed you to be a kinder spirit with much softer, kinder tendencies.

Or, it may be that a handsome young "doctor" will reach out to you during a conference, seeking to converse with you upon noticing how much knowledge you had to offer. At first, you would be a teacher to him, and he would be your eager-to-learn student. A very fitting dynamic – don’t you think? The passion, interest and knowledge you both share would surely blossom into a great friendship. Over time, both you and Jack would realize that the feelings you both share go beyond the level of friends and eventually you would discover more about his true nature.

Either way, you two are an excellent fit.

He wants you to have the freedom to explore your interest and career. Thus he will do all in his power to keep your life and his world separate from one another.

Expect him to be a frequent guest at your house and morgue, conversing with you and helping you out in any way he can. A fresh cup of your favourite drink, a box full of treats, and a tender touch that will comfort you in times of need. Jack will go all into this relationship.
