High School! Zukaang - Valentine's Day

Zuko decided to give him chocolates for the day, he's just coming to terms with his feelings for him, but... Aang's locker is full of candy and gifts.

Every time he gets a chance to give him the chocolates, someone interrupts them with a bigger and flashier gift for Aang. This makes him more and more upset.

At the end of the day, he hasn't given him the chocolates and Aang has bags full of gifts. Zuko no longer wants to give Aang the chocolates because he accidentally ruined them because he was upset.

When Zuko wants to go on his way, Aang stops him and hands him some homemade chocolates, he too has wanted to deliver him chocolates all this time. Surprised and excited, he also hands the chocolates to Aang and he eats them, realizing that they are the first chocolates Aang has eaten even though he has many.

After that, both of them promise what gift they will give to the other on the White Day.

#Of course this is another ZukAang school AU...#I like the idea that the two of them are outstanding students but in different ways...#This AU takes place in a traditional Fire Nation academy school...#why is Aang there?... It's a punishment #Obviously Zuko didn't like it... first week and he already had half the school eating out of his palm...#He thought Aang was an arrogant airhead... the s’mores are nowhere near as bad as the Mexico week foods, but like.

I feel like homemade marshmallows are more candymaking than baking? That doesn’t seem fair to the contestants. They also look so unevenly toasted in the set of example s’mores, it’s disgraceful

Digestive biscuits seem pretty similar to graham crackers so I’m not taking issue with that

but ganache? Ganache for s’mores? I feel like paul hollywood has only eaten s’mores at like maybe some fancy NYC restaurant that did like deconstructed s’mores or something. Imagine the kind of prick who would bring ganache out to a campfire (actually that would also be believable for paul hollywood)

and why are s’mores now allegedly a Halloween food? I guess technically you could make s’mores with your Halloween candy but they’re just so fundamentally summery to me, you should be eating them either in the woods or on the beach. You should have the smell of wood smoke in the background, not a butane torch

#also there's literally no reason they can't give them more time to cool down their cakes for the first challenge #like ok you can't decorate a warm cake #give them another half hour #oh you know what's s'mores adjacent and really good?#you take a banana and pull down one strip of peel #add in chocolate chips and/or marshmallows #wrap it in tinfoil #stick it in the fire for a little while #take it out and eat it with a spoon #so gooey so good

my job is reactivating and rehabilitating patients in post surgery care and one of the first things i tell them once they've tried to drink some juice and stand on their legs without throwing up is "every bite is a good bite" and i think that's a good sentiment for everyone

#i tell them “if you have to eat 5 panacottas and nothing else today then that's a win” and then i give them panacottas #actually it's not a win bc they need way more than that #5 panacottas and a few supplementary nutritional drinks and then we're all set #caramel flavoured chocolate pudding is also a good option #an option anyone outside a hospital would discourage to be the only thing you eat in a day. but we will nag and bug you until you eat 2 #ive seen a lot of people here on tumblr talk about the need for a neutral food view #that morals don't exist in food #and it's true #to become healthy after your body has kind of been under the greatest toll ever (stomach open wide) there is no such thing as bad food #pickapost #tho of course you will develop some health issues if you don't have a proper diet #like scurvy or kidney stones #that's no good #or blood fats that will lead to health issues later in life #but compared to malnutrition those are irrelevant #nutrition comes first otherwise you cannot live #and when it comes to nutrition every bite is a good bite

#I think it's new anyway #Chocolate strawberries have been one of my top 5 favorite desserts since I could eat solid food and I'm not exagerrating #So I think if this was sold earlier in my life. I would have So gotten on that #but i'd never seen it until like. last year. when my life was changed forever #It also enlightened me to the idea of just . eating normal frozen berries sans chocolate #Which is honestly fucking great because they're just as nutritious as fresh fruit And really good snacks #And I don't have to rinse or cut them first. the nice freezer people did that for me #and i can have them out of season :)#Frozen strawberries sweet cherries and blueberries are all like. god tier #i didn't like the sour cherries :(
