Hi y’all! I know I hardly post anymore, but if you live in Texas I could really use your help. Would you call your House Rep and ask them to vote for HB 2332? Fairfield State Park is at risk of being turned into a subdivision and golf course. HB 2332 would use eminent domain laws to help the state buy the park and keep it a park. The otters, eagles, and other wildlife who live there will be so grateful. It’s real life Parks and Rec and I’m channeling my inner Leslie Knope to spread the word. If you don’t live in Texas, you can still call the gov and lt gov and ask them to get involved in saving the park. Remember to be polite and concise with your calls. On the journey to finishing "Young Sheldon." I relate so much to this show, including the setting of East Texas. The time period aligns with my childhood and the family dynamics suit those I am familiar with. Replace the science with music/video games, I could fit right in.
