Daily drawing 7/365
Messing with Vincent’s design, I’m trying to make it a bit more accurate to what I think a goth living in a mid 80s, conservative small town would look like. He doesn’t wear a lot of makeup past eyeliner so I’m thinking of maybe adding fishnets in there somewhere to complete the look. He looks more 70s punk adjacent here than anything, which isn’t helped by the fact it’s only a half body drawing and you can’t see that he’s wearing pikes
I could try dressing him up in some very draping, gloomy all black clothes but not only is that not how I picture him in my mind, that’s more of Veronica’s thing. Still keeping this idea in the back of my mind anyway
Also messing around with my style a bit. Not overly happy with how it came out. These days I just find myself confused when I try to mess around with my style. This could either mean I’ve finally found a consistent process I like and want to stick to, or this round of experimenting just didn’t work
(I know the difference here doesn’t look huge compared to my other drawings but it matters to me. So.)

still thinkng about how when Wednesday came out people hated on the dance scene song, when they clearly do not know that The Cramps are a parent of goth and is one of the first recognizable proto-goth bands
not to be an elitist, but know your music history you posers
