There’s an old wives tale, that the circular base of the fountain used to be smaller, but that it’s grown in circumference over the years due to the ever mounting layers of white paint they’ve had to add to cover the relentless markings."

I've been rereading "Drink With Me" by @ink-and-dagger to help get me inspired to finish TMSA. I felt compelled to bring the image of the fountain tradition to life, so I drew this. ("Drew?" I traced a Wikimedia commons fountain picture and then colored it. Does that count as drawing???)

Never had much confidence in drawing in a computer because the pen pressure in my drawing tablet is not perfect (the strokes don’t thin out). But I still tried it, tho, and I can’t believe that I made this sketch lol.

Gonna post another one of this in an art style that I’m exploring, but for now have this sketch that I made.

(Also, I’m warming up for a fan art that I’m making for Inky’s DWM fanfic)

personal favourite parts of this month's DWM

(these are paraphrased bc memory Bad) - mandip saying 'i asked the director, can i look at her [the doctor] like that? and he said, yes you can look at her like you love her' - mandip commenting on the 'are you two seeing each other?' line as a (perhaps unintentional but very real) hint of thasmin - mandip saying she intentionally made eyes at the doctor because 'she could see her character going in that direction' - mandip saying 'thasmin' - literally every word out of mandip's mouth actually - yaz being described as 'the woman who fell for the woman who fell to earth' - the lesbian lighting thasmin cover - THASMIN HUG IN THE COMIC + YAZ SAYING 'I'M NEVER LEAVING YOU' + THE DOCTOR PROCEEDING TO GIVE YAZ A FLOWER AND SAY 'WE'VE GOT A LOT OF LIVING LEFT TO DO' - the majority of the letters sent in and published being ones about how yaz was an inspiration to them as queer people - half the fanart chosen being thasmin fanart (DWM thasmin edition??) - GOGGLES!13 IS BACK FOR TPOTD!!!!!!!!!!! - JODIE TALKING ABOUT THASMIN???? FINALLY????? - mandip saying 'i showed jodes all the fanart' and potentially best of all: MANDIP FUCKING GILL: "SHE'S [YAZ IS] GROWING UP, SHE'S GOT GROWING PAINS, SHE'S TRYING TO FIGURE HERSELF OUT...
