This is a long shot but I’m trying to find a Doctor Who book that I had as a kid and I don’t remember anything about it except the Rose Tyler page. It’s not the Encyclopedia but it might be the Character Encyclopedia? I’m pretty sure it was just NuWho with Nine, Ten and Eleven.
I managed to find a picture of the page on Google but the website didn’t say where it was from and I have no idea how to find it. If anyone recognizes it and can help me find the book I’d be very grateful!

This is the page from the upcoming novelisation of The Giggle by James Goss that describes the regeneration scene. It's written from the Toymaker's perspective! Look how fun this is! (Transcript in image description.)

I'm. I'm pissing myself dudes
If you haven't read "In the blood", "The doctor trap" and "shining darkness", you only need to know a couple things before going ahead:
They're Doctor Who books
All of them feature the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble
The summaries ChatGpd gave are WILDLY inaccurate
Ok, proceed. This is... A ride.

I don't think most people know since the book only came out last September, but in Rebellion on Treasure Island River appears, being her true incredible self, and here are the best parts already (I'm not done):
She wears black jeans, cowboy boots, a white shirt, a messenger bag and her belt. That and her hair is tied back.
The Doctor calls her 'wifey'
She is canonically part of the paternoster gang
literally just all the interactions are amazing!!
and the book is incredible, in it's story

this is probably a really big ask, but I'd like to listen to the doctor who audio stories/read the books/read the comics, everything basically. Does anyone know of a really good timeline of the best way to ingest all the content?

Few days ago I found this book in Czech (!) online eshop with second hand books -
Tumblr media
And I thought wow, old, no, vintage Doctor Who book, that's awesome, I'll get that, even the price isn't the lowest (obviously). In the shop there are always few pics from inside and one has an illustration too, so I've thought - looks great, maybe there will be more.
The book came yesterday and first I was surprised how big it is, for some reason I've thought it's A5 size and thinner (even there are the pictures in the shop and also pictures with a hand, so you can get the idea of the size (or at least some people can, obviously I can't :D. Anyway). And then I opened it and browsed through the book and was amazed. There is more than just few illustrations like this -
Tumblr media
Also some comic strip stories -
Tumblr media
And also some Doctor Who themes related short chapters (also illustrated) like about universe and planets and so (but like really science. Well popularized, but still).
Well, some of the illustrations are...
Tumblr media
Let's say not so stunning (though it still looks much more like Two than I'd ever manage) and it's still better than this -
Tumblr media
I don't know how well it's to be seen in the picture, but in real, it looks like the face was cut from another picture and glued on here and it's kinda creepy (and funny). (looks like it could be a reaction picture too :D)
Nevertheless it still looks fantastic (despite the fact there's no Five even though he's on the cover. And it looks the most stories are with Four) and the illustrations (well, except for the copy-paste monster) are great, so I wanted to know who did them. Authors are nowhere to be find there, but instead, I found this -
Tumblr media
Which is the main reason why I bother writing this post. Like - WHAT?! How could Doctor Who book be printed in 1981 in communistic Czechoslovakia??? (well I don't quite get having something printed in another country in general, though it would be probably the cost reasons? But Publishers from Great Britain sent materials (or how could this work) in communistic Czechoslovakia to print Doctor Who book (science-fiction including some comics bits(!)) for them? How did they come to think about our small country? In 80's? (well, yes, not so far to the end of communism regime in our country, but still). I tried to search for it according to the SBN number but I found only some shops where it was listed, one has more information, saying it's collection of previously published things (and named where it was published and when (and again, no authors or illustrators mentioned)) I just don't get it. Could anyone here know something more about this?

Dear fanfiction writers, according to Rose in the Christmas Invasion novel, the Doctor canonically smells like “[an] odd combination of chalk dust, boiled sweets, lime and diesel.” Do with this information what you will.

I’m reading In The Blood by Jenny T. Colgan. I’m enjoying it so far. And after I’m finished, I’d love to read another DW book. 😊
What is your favourite Doctor Who book?
