ok ok khml beta spoilers (part one of whatever this is going to be idk i'm just gonna ramble about my thoughts and observations)

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh wah awa wahhhhhh i want this game now i won't lie to you this looks really cool i can't believe it's real. or a mobile game for that matter. imagine this as a full console game. imagine khux and khdr as this. insane

remus... nice!!! can we like. see him in full lighting though so i could get a good sense of his color scheme. ok i like this guy already i like his casual/rude vibes and the way he talks

i hope he has a brother named romulus and i hope romulus kills him it needs to happen sorry. idc whether it's shock value or something very narratively heavy i need fratricide in this game idc

so they're doing the good old 'every other character in the cutscene is gonna be voiced except the protagonist whose dialogue just shows up silently but their mouth still moves' thing huh. can't wait to see how this plays out. looks like player is still gonna have limited dialogue overall so that works. but like man i kinda wish they'd just give player a canon voice or two or three. imagine that being something you could choose

i'm gonna read too deeply into player's amnesia including their name but not including their fighting ability. like they could've had you type in a name during the character creation screen and had player respond to the question later but nope we specifically establish that they don't remember and have to make one up on the spot. you know what they do remember though? combat. weapons. carrying out their missions as a keyblade wielder, all they were ever meant to do. gonna be normal about this for sure

so after multiple joke posts we finally have a real freya... i don't know why i'm surprised. dunno if i vibe with her full outfit yet (i think the red jacket uniform is kinda overbearing and might get old fast if both she and remus and probably at least 20 other characters will have it but in a cleaner or more stylized render i'd love it probably) but like dude the cat ear accessories... were those there last time? did i not notice them last time? those are perfect

literally ALL of this music is so cheerful... the dearly beloved is super upbeat, the new field theme for scala and the astral plane and combat and the tutorial menus etc etc... it's so strange. i KNOW they're hiding the absolute tragedy from us. goth aesthetic combined with whimsical peaceful tunes. what's happening here

the. the pit... that's their portal?? when you wanna go to the astral plane you jump in The Machinery Hell Pit? absolutely not you would never convince me to do that

so begins the gacha/microtransaction hell. i sure hope it's easy enough to get whatever ingame currency there is through other means

i'm actually loving the amount of customization options dude that's so cool

you pick up your phone because your screen will not stop lighting up - once again, your dms are popping off with a bunch of super cuties hitting you up. some of them are nervously telling you how gorgeous you are and that they've always had crushes on you and were too embarrassed to tell you in person; some of them are confident and flirtatious, asking you for your number or asking if you've got a partner because they want to take you out; some are so enamoured with you that all they can send is emojis and messages like, "wow. just wow." just a day in the life of someone who is irresistible!

you walk into a room and can hear whispering voices talking about you; "oh my god, do you see them? i've never seen someone so breathtaking." "dude, you'd never make it with someone like them!" maybe you look over and see one of them elbow the other to try to get them to act cool - it's hard to remain calm when someone so perfect walks into a room!

after posting a selfie, your phone blows up with comments from so many thirsty mfs - "oh my god, you're SO gorgeous!" "are you single? you can't be single." "I can't believe someone like you exists!" feel your thumb scrolling through the seemingly endless comments from people you find attractive and fun who are hyping you up, people who could only dream of being with you. maybe you reply to comments, or maybe you make their heart flutter with just liking them.

you're having a conversation with someone who is so attractive (whether it's your SP or a stranger) at a public event, and the others in the room are visibly jealous; some come up to hover beside the person talking to you and try to get their turn to talk to you; one comes up with a drink or an offer to walk around the event; one even pulls the classic "is this person bothering you?" card. all you can do is smile knowing that everywhere you go, everyone is obsessed with you.

imagine walking into a room and having all eyes fix on you as conversations stop, because everyone is enamoured with your beauty!

imagine talking to someone and watching them visibly melt listening to your voice, looking at your smile, and getting lost in your gaze. they can't help but be enamoured, and you play it off like it's nothing, but you know you've won their heart.

you're stopped in the street by a stranger who's eyes light up as they see you. "excuse me, I don't mean to be rude, but you are the most gorgeous person I've ever seen and I couldn't let you go on with your day without telling you!"

◉ A/n- kinda been in my feelings for a few days, but it's alright. Also haven't written for Striker in a hot minute so I'm deciding to give it a try

Moxxie and Millie also struggle with self-esteem and self-worth, so when you're feeling down, they have a good idea of what might be able to cheer you up.

Moxxie, ever the thespian, writes you a ton- and I mean a ton- of little notes, poems, and even songs- all declaring his unconditional, undying love for you and Millie. It's not generic love songs either- what Moxxie writes are the most heartfelt, sincere declarations of love you'll ever hear

Dude will also follow you around all day like a sidekick- actually. This guy takes the Hype Man position very seriously. Whenever you're talking, he stands to your side, hip jutted out and arms crossed. He's so sassy for no reason

Millie actually takes a more lowkey approach- don't get me wrong, she and Moxxie absolutely smother you with love- but Millie's lowkey nature helps balance out Moxxie's grand gestures.

Millie is pretty observant, so she's able to pick up on your subtle mood changes and habits fast. Wrapping your arms around your stomach? Millie beats you to it and has her arm around your waist. nervous fidgeting? Millie holds your hand, and gives you a reassuring smile.

Of course, they each have their own off days- sometimes y'all take a collective self-care day which is just code for you sitting on the couch, ordering food delivery and watching dumb shows; no matter the circumstance, Moxxie and Millie will always love and support you unconditionally.

Fizzarolli knows exactly how it feels to think you're not living up to everyone's (or even your own) expectations. While Fizz knows there's no such thing as completely "getting rid of" these feelings, he will always do everything he can to reassure you.

Distractions are Fizz's specialty, so if you're feeling down, expect lots of jokes and random stories- its just his way of helping you get out of a negative mindset, even temporarily

Fizz is also the kind of partner to perform impromptu stand-up comedy acts when you're feeling down. Sit your ass on the couch with some snacks, because for the next thirty minutes, you're gonna watch Fizz attempt comedy while using a wooden spoon as a microphone.

It's funny to think Fizz knows a little bit of a bunch of different languages; wanna know what that results in? Him attempting to flirt with you in Italian or French but really just saying a bunch of random bullshit. It's the thought that counts, right?

Don't let the robotic limbs fool you- Fizz is very touchy-feely (unless you're uncomfortable with it). If you happen to be insecure about your physical apperance, Fizz is there to assure you, there's nothing to be insecure about. You're literally the most amazing being in his eyes

Fizzarolli knows how hard it can be to wrestle with your inner-critic, and that it takes a long time to unlearn the instinct of being self-critical. That's why he takes every moment he can to tell you everything you have to be proud of.

Striker isn't one for self-doubt or insecurity. There's not much room for it in his life, so it's harder for him to empathize with what you're going through.

when Striker does take the time to understand what you're going through, he's still confused. He's more pragmatic, so when you list your insecurities, all he can think is how wrong you are

It's a bit harsh, but hey, so is he. Though, he does understand there's a lot about relationships he has yet to learn- like how to be a bit more sensitive when dealing with feelings of self-worth

at first, Striker's solution is to tell you "prove yourself wrong," but when he sees it's not the most.. effective solution, he opts to just listening, and doing his best to be a pillar of support.

Rather than rushing to fix things or immediately tell you you're wrong, Striker sits and will listen to you for hours. He won't offer unwarranted advice or try to invalidate your feelings- he just listens.

And at the end of the day, Striker knows what there is to love about you. He may not express it as openly, but Striker cares about you, and hates seeing you beat yourself up. He hopes one day, you can see yourself the way he does- perfect as you are.

Summary: Carl finds out about you for the first time and you guys agree to play a game together!

Word Count: 1.3k

Carl loves gaming! He sits at his house playing gameplays all day. He loves his fans and his fans loved him!

They always shipped him with certain gamer girls he’s played with but Carl always rejects it He’s been looking for gamer girlfriends in his area to play with and maybe even fall in love with.

But, there’s never one that catches his eye until his fans tried one last time and he met you.

"Alright chat, some more fall guys. I'm not happy about this but you guys wanted it." He says smiling.

User283- Do you know (Your username insert)? bandychat123- yea she's super hot bro! ilovecarl69- Look her up dude! Maybe then you guys can play together!

Carl takes a second to read the comments in his livestream and then finally agrees to look you up.

"Alright alright guys, I'll do it. I think I know who she is but i'm not sure." he says going to Instagram on his phone.

He sees your face and instantly, his jaw drops. He shows his phone to the chat and everyone goes ballistic.

"THAT'S HER!?" He yells completely flabbergasted. His whole chat is replying yes and going crazy. Little did Carl know you were watching the livestream the whole time, chuckling at his reaction.

Carl had been one of your favourite twitch streamers to watch. You would always be in you room watching and rooting for him to win in fall guys constantly.

You would be up all night giggling at his GTA mods and what his chat always said. He was super hot in your opinion and completely adorable.

So the fact that he is now noticing you is cute and made you feel warm and happy inside.

You decide since he's already in Instagram, why not surprise him and see his reaction.

"Stalking me stranger?" You type. His face goes red and he is completely silent. You just texted him. He is so nervous.

As he is contemplating what to write he sees the bubble pop up on his phone and he instantly fixes his posture, excited to see what you say.

"I know you're wondering, How does she know? Well, I'm watching your twitch right now! It's nice to meet you. My name Is Y/N."

"Hahaha! That obvious huh? Nice to meet you, and you already know my name."

"Yep! Haha! Hi, Carl! I wanted to ask you something, if that's ok?"

"Yea, of course! What is it?"

"Would you maybe wanna play sometime? I don't know if sometime today would work or maybe tomorrow?"

"Uh, yea! I would love to maybe later today!?"

"Alright cool! See you then Carl Grimes ;)"

"Ha! See you then y/n!"

You smile to yourself as you read his message over and over again. You look back at the livestream to see him blushing and smiling too!

You were so excited for later today. Tonight will be a nice night to play. But wait, you thought about what would happen if this continues.

Will you guys eventually meet up? Continue talking and become friends? Maybe more than friends? Start going to his house? Oh! You would love to go to his house.

Maybe even help him learn how to cook! Ha! He's getting there.

“Alright chat! Let’s get to it!” He says smiling. You look at the chat and put your phone down. You smile at everybody’s assumptions.

1 hour later

You just ate and you’re getting your stuff ready for your stream. You texted Carl earlier and he responded saying he was ready.

“Hey guys! I know this is unexpected but I have a special guest coming on tonight to play with me!" He says excitedly opening Fall Guys.

"The one and Only Y/N!" He says and your voice immediately sound through the speakers.

"Hiii guys!" You says, "Hi Carl!" You say in a singsongy voice.

"Hey y/n." He says blushing again. You smile and click on fall guys on your screen as well.

"I already did my intro so... we can get started Carl!" You says designing your fall guy or fall gal as you like to call it.

"You wanna add me or should I add you ma'am?" He says chuckling.

"Ma'am is a new one haha! I like it! Well you can add me!" You say. You text him your username and he sends a friend request.

You guys add each other and get started.

"Noooooo!" You hear Carl yell. You burst out laughing.

"Aww did Carl not make it!?" You tease.

"I hate you! God, Fuck!" He yells out. His outburst makes you laugh.

"Is Carl Grimes gonna cry?" You ask teasing him for loosing.

"I'll make you cry if I have to." He says. You pause, taking in what he said and now your wondering what he meant by that.

You clear your throat and heat rushes towards your face and your ears get all hot.

"I-I, Uhm, d-do you want me to uhm r-restart?" You stutter. Everyone in the chat on your livestream and Carls live stream are going crazy.

"Y-yea ket's start over." Carl says awkwardly. You both start over and continue to play.

You both get extremely comfortable with each other and continue to make flirtatious jokes.

"Carl! Stop screaming your hurting my ears!"

"I'll make you scream if you want. I'm sure you love screaming." He relies.

You giggle at his sudden boldness and flirtatious spirit.

"God fuck you y/n!" Carl yells.

"Dang, what happened to taking me out Carl? That wasn't very gentlemen like of you!" You reply giggling.

He rolls his eyes and snickers. You also snicker before you both burst out laughing.

You guys eventually finish up and cut off the cameras. You guys are still talking through the discord server mod.

"Hey.. uhm that was a lot of fun, no?" You ask with a smile on your face.

"Yea, no it was! Best fun i've ever had!" He says chuckling. You both stay silent and shy for a few seconds.

"So... Did you wanna like play-" He starts. "Do you wanna come over?!" You ramble out asking him in a rush, scared of rejection.

His eyes widen. You take his silence as a wrong thing and immediately backtrack.

"Carl, uhm I mean like... We should game over here or I go to your house! I j-just really like playing with you and you in general and I really wanna be friends!" You continue to ramble out.

Your face is saddened as you don't get a response from him and you just whisper out a small 'never mind'.

"No that's... That would be great! I would actually love that and how's my place tomorrow at idk 5:30? You an be here for as long as you want! I need help cooking anyway!" He replies with a smile on his face and a slight blush.

You smile and as your about to reply you notice your camera is still on ad your chat feed is still going and they are spamming the chat.

"OHH MY GODD!" You yell falling out of the chair in embarrassment.

"What what is it!? Are you ok?!" He asks worried.

"No i'm not. My camera feed is still on so all my fans and maybe your's just heard everything we were just talking about." You say with your face in your hands.

Carls face goes pale and then red as a tomato.

"Well this is me taking you out on a date! To my house, right?" He asks still happy and confident.

"Y-Yea! Totally Carl! See you tomorrow!" You say while turning off your camera for good and squeal jumping up and down before flopping on your bed to call your best friend Enid.

After years and years of me asking, I've finally convinced my husband to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. He's always had that "not gonna watch it bc it's so hyped up" thing with FMA (both 03 and Brotherhood). But I'm annoying, persistent, he has to spend the rest of his life with me, so he finally agreed!

The only things he knew about FMA were:

Ed doesn't have an arm and a leg;

the 7 deadly sins are villains;

Nina and Alexander;

Roy, Winry and Envy are popular in the fandom because he's seen tons of cosplays at cons throughout the years.

We're on ep.7 so far, and here are a few of his comments:

"There's nothing inside the armor??? THAT I didn't know."

"Wait, that little girl... The dog! NO, GET THEM OUT OF THIS HOUSE!"

Every time Shou Tucker was on screen: "Son of a bitch" :through gritted teeth:

"I like that the Nina incident happens so early on in Ed and Al's journey. It grounds them, gives them a new perspective."

On Scar: "I can't believe I've never seen cosplays of him. This is one badass dude who's not difficult to cosplay! Where are his fans?!"

On Riza: "She's the only sensible one in the whole bunch, isn't she?"

On Armstrong: "HE SPARKLES."

Him: makes a comment about the guy who wrote FMA. Me: "It's a woman". Him: "Ohh, that's why it's good."

He loves Pinako.

"I'll bet this isn't the last time Ed will go back home to fix his automail."

Summary: Your girlfriend won't let you shake ass at a party so you drop her and have fun with Riri Williams instead who ends up becoming far more than just her name to you as the night goes on.

You love yourself a good party so of course what were you doing on a Friday night instead of studying for the exam that you know you have on Monday? You're at a party trying to live your best life but your girlfriend isn't too into that she keeps trying to grab you by your waist trying to keep you from the dance circle she honestly is pissing you off. "Why can't I dance? I'm just trying to have a good time and you are really killing the vibe right now" you say you arms crossing your chest she groans "because I don't need no other chick or dude looking at you or tryna get behind you..." Oh you could slap her right now "I'm going to dance if someone was going to look at me they would have done it so suck it up" she grabs your wrist and you're quick to push her into the wall "you must have forgot who I am if you don't get your mother fucking hands off of me before I shoot you" she lets go because she's aware that you aren't joking matter of fact your gun was never too far.

You walk to the floor dress rising around your thighs that's when you see Riri who's been watching the whole thing you knew of her but you didn't know her. She's cute though she's sipping on her drink before she approaches you "you good?" You nod "of course I am just uhm wanted to get the fuck away from her before I showed her where I was from" she laughs and glances you up and down it was subtle and quick but you still noticed. "I thought that was your girl..." You nod "I'm looking for something new she's now off the menu" she nods before grabbing your hand gently. "So you just dropping em like that?" You shrug "no I liked her but I can't deal with the insecurities I'mma dance imma wear what I want to and ain't nobody gone stop that" you realize you've probably talked her head off so you come to a pause and drink your drink. "You said you want to dance yet you're still here" you nod groaning to yourself "she ruined my mood to be honest I just want to go home."

"Don't let her fuck up your night just cause she insecure c'mon dance with me" you look at her confused "I'm so serious" she says seeing your reaction "I'm not insecure I can handle it shake some ass be happy fuck her!" You shush her but she only laughs and yells louder "fuck you!" You grab her hand and drag her to the floor so her voice is drowned out by the sounds of music and the hyping of others you can really only hear each other clearly. "get wild I'm sure you ain't wear this dress just to look this pretty" you smile when she calls you pretty and nod "you right you sure right."

The music and the constant smiling of Riri is too much for you to handle at this moment but it is a moment of a lifetime and you are going to live it just like the moment it truly is. She grabs your hand and you turn around immediately throwing it all as if your girlfriend was behind you watching you. You love to make a bitch jealous but to make a pussy bitch jealous that just had some extra kick to it. Riri holds her dress with one hand and places her other hand on your waist guiding you onto her crotch.

Your body was on hers the whole night and you didn't mind you were sweaty and tired but you were having fun and that's what matters. It didn't matter if you acted like a fool or sweat out your hair all that mattered was how much fun you were having and with her you were having a lot.

When you two finally decide to call it a night you're leaning on her shoulder outside as she is still holding your shoes "I had fun" she smiles at you and nods "I saw same here uhm..." she smiles at you and then shakes her head "you don't even like girls do you? You're too pretty to really like girls" You don't know what the hell that meant but you answer anyways "I like whatever likes me" she nods "okay so if I was to kiss you you wouldn't scream or anything would you?" You laugh and shake your head "no not at all but only if you give me a ride home too" she nods and licks her lips "okay I can give you that ride" you grab her hand and pull her to you "then I can give you that kiss."

She hums and lets her arms wrap around your waist pulling you close as she closes the gap between you two. You wish you could say the kiss is polite and sweet but it is a whole violation you feel like you should have waited until you were in the car or something because anyone within eye range was getting a show. Riri wasn't shy in anything you knew this she was confident in her walk, her skill and now you know the same thing goes for when she likes someone.

You pull away and stare at her smiling like a fool in the corner of your eye notice a guy staring at you both he pats his friends shoulder and whispers very terribly might you add "oh she is getting some tonight" you and Riri laugh at the obviously drunk guys "you are so not getting any just because he said all that" she gasps "you know what I don't fuck on the first date anyways" you laugh and smile at her causing her to smile back. "you mentioned while we were dancing your feet hurt are you good enough to walk?" You shake your head "not at all never dancing in heels that long again" she turns around "get on my back" you smile "I will knock your tiny ass over" "no you won't and call me tiny again you'll be limping to the car by yourself" you laugh as you hike your dress up over your thighs and you get on her back she holds your legs in place and walks you to the car.

You can't even lie she makes you feel like a modern day Cinderella doing everything your girlfriend wouldn't do...you keep thinking girlfriend but she's in the past. She's doing everything your ex-girlfriend wouldn't do. You liked that.

When she pulls up to your off campus apartment you smile at her before shaking your head "I lied earlier" she raises her perfect damn eyebrows as if to question what you were speaking of "you might get some tonight" she looks at you and smiles widely "oh so you feeling generous?" You laugh and shake your head "no I just think you deserve it don't you?" All of this happening right now I wasn't expecting it but I'm not mad at the way this night is ending. If you were to just walk in there by yourself and I were to go home I wouldn't care because I'd know I made you happy even if just for tonight."

You roll your eyes and turn around for a moment "oh lord forgive me for the things I'm about to do to her...c'mon" you say grabbing her hand and turning on your heel she laughs and follows behind you all giggly.

"C'mon Lance," he. Said hyping himself up and slapping his cheeks. "It's just a confession. What's the worst that can happen?"

"He could hate you forever,"

"You'll never be friends again,"

His mind continued to taunt him endlessly. "Shut up!" He shouted in a whisper. For once, the voices were silent. He got up from his comfortable place on the bed and walked over towards the door, opening it and heading to go get food.

He arrived, grabbing a plate of food and sitting to enjoy, eyes scanning around for a certain someone.

"Hey Lance!" Keith called from a bit over, walking over towards the table Lance was sitting at and placing his food down. He sat down next to Lance and began to ramble about the troubles of today and how he got yelled at my pidge for putting his reds in with the rest of the washing. After 10 minutes of chatting and eating, Lance and Keith head back to Keith's room.

"So, what are we going to do?" Keith asked.

"Well, um, actually... I need to tell you something..." Keith focused on the taller boy, ready to listen to what Lance had to say. "Look... Keith," he took a deep breath." I'm not straight, and I really like you. " he rushed past the last part. It had already taken far too long to say. Lance looked up at Keith with anticipation but was met with a face of pure discust.

"What the fuck!? Ew" he said, scrunching his face up. The pure look of discust of Keith's face would have been enough to shatter Lance, but it continued further as his eyes brimmed with tears, threatening to fall " Your GAY? Why? That's so gross, you are discusting"

"But- it doesn't change anything" Lance sobbed lightly.

"Yes it does, that isn't normal, get a grip on yourself, or someone needs to fix you" Keith continiued to spit at Lance, each insult, each rejection, stuck into Lance, driving a dagger further and further through his already bleeding and shattered heart. As Lance stepped forwards to attempt to make things right and apologise, Keith pushed him away. "Get away from me you fag!" He yelled, pushing Lance violently further towards the door. As a heart broken mess, he looked back one last time at Keith, a violent and descusted look plastered across his face. Lance finally stumbled through the door as a crying, Sobbing and aching mess.

"Oh please you know being gay is wrong, and un natural, and filthy and-" Keith shuddered, sitting down on his bed.

"Oh God... I'm turning into my dad". Keith reluctantly remembered his father, the abuse, trauma, homo and zoo phobia. Worst, he was a paedophile. Him and his sister Sabrina had the scars, although whilst most of Keith's were physical... Sabrina on the other hand...

"Uugh shut up you stupid brain", he scolded himself harshly. "I just need to go over there and apologise, simple." With that out of the way, he got up, making his way to the most likely place that Lance was...

His room

Keith arrived and knocked on the door

"GO away" Lance's voice still sounded dry and croaky.

" Lance I need to apologise" this, seemed to grab Lance's attention, he blew the door open, fury riddled across his tear stained face.

"Oh fuck off." Lance spat at Keith.

Look, dude I know what I did was wrong but I didn't mean-"

" what the actual fuck do you mean "you didn't mean it" he mocked "What makes you think that you can apologise now, what gives you the right?!" Keith opened his mouth to speak. "No, shut the fuck up you homophobic bitch. Why do YOU get to come here and apologise after you broke me, I don't care that you rejected me, I care that you ruled it in and were an over all fucker about it! You don't get to come her to apologise to me just so that you can clear you own guilty conscious!" Shiro came around the corner to see what was going on with Hunk and pidge in tow. "I'm sorry" " doesn't cut it, I need to see results!"

"Hold on, what is going on!?" Shiro demanded

"Shut up shiro" Lance snapped "I need you to have said those awful things in the first place, do you understand me Keith. Just because you had a rough upbringing, doesn't mean that you can take your internalised homophobia out on me! Okay!?..." Keith looked at Lance in awe. Pidge, shiro and Hunk were simply staring, mouths agape and eyes wide open. Finally, there was a strange silence that hadent been heard for a long while at this point.

"I fucking hate you Keith, get out of my sight." Lance spat and slammed the door.

Rick and Morty spoilers. Under cut for length and negativity. This was eating at me.

I hated That's Amorte so much. It literally makes me angry. I was so excited for it. They were hyping it up. It was written by the same person who wrote Final Desmithation- a really entertaining episode! Morty was going to be in it a lot! It was compared to Pickle Rick and Vat of Acid! And then... we got this mediocre thing.

I have seen Pickle Rick and Vat of Acid, and you sir, are no Pickle Rick or Vat of Acid. And I'm even kinda meh about those episodes, but at least they showed the complexity of Rick's character!

Okay, characterization. Rick was reduced to the toxic dudebro fan ideal of him: asshole who gets away with being an asshole because he's always right. Morty- poor Morty! Finally gets an episode this season and he spent the whole time being pushed around and shat on by other characters and the narrative. Don't get me started on the rest of the family. They were fucking demons- I felt like I was watching an episode of Family Guy, just swap Morty for Meg. (Disclaimer, I haven't watched Family Guy in years, but I remember it being really mean-spirited for a while, I don't know if that's still the case, but yeah that's what I'm referencing.)

As for the theme... I just really dislike moral dilemmas that are totally bizarre and never apply to the real world. Just strikes me as pseudo-intellectual. And what is this episode trying to make a point about? Assisted suicide? The meat industry? Capitalism? Pick a fucking lane.

The story was the worst part. We've seen Morty try to do the right thing, only to make things worse, so Rick has to fix everything (Mortynight Run, Rattlestar Ricklactica, etc), so nothing new there. And it's fine that that's not new, because at this point it's happened enough that it's a trend, but That's Amorte does nothing new with it. The scene where Morty was letting his family have it was reminiscent of a similar scene from A Rickconvenient Mort, except it had emotional weight there. Here, the family's dismissal of Morty is treated like a joke. The suicide angle worked so much better in Analyze Piss because the subject was treated with the gravity it deserved, whereas here it was an element in a stupid thought experiment. And that scene showing the random dude's life? I was so pissed I refused to watch. It was like they realized what an emotionless husk the episode had been so far, so they tried to tug at the heartstrings in the laziest, easiest way possible, with some poignant scenes and sad music. That shit worked in Vat of Acid because it was about Morty and we care about Morty. I can tell when I'm being emotionally manipulated.

All in all, it felt like they took a bunch of superior episodes, had no understanding of what made them good, and threw them into the blender dimension along with a bunch of spaghetti. It felt like it was written by AI.

I can say, with confidence, that it was my least favorite episode. There was nothing I enjoyed about it. Less than Rickdependence Spray? Hell yeah, that episode was dumb but funny. Less than Raising Gazorpazorp? ...Okay, that one had no redeeming qualities either, but I didn't get hyped for it, so it wasn't a disappointment. Less than the last two episodes of season 6, which I refuse to remember the names of? Yes. Even though the last one bored me, at least Rick was nuanced and interesting there. As for the penultimate one... welllll, I mostly felt betrayed about that episode lying to us, so I feel I can't properly judge its quality. So that one doesn't get a score.

This episode offended me as a fan of Rick, as a fan of Morty, as a fan of the show, and as a writer.

Rick and Morty forever, huh? If it's just going to be an eternity of Rick being an insufferable smug jerk, Morty being abused, and both of them being miserable and hateful to each other, I don't even want another day of them. I guess this is the "Too Bleak, Stopped Caring" trope in play.

The only thing that makes me feel slightly more at ease is pretending like this episode didn't follow the main family. And that's why everyone felt like they were from season 1 and hadn't gone through any character development. (The mind eraser device looked different, by the way.) But that only solves the characterization issue, not the rest of it. Edit- realized that couldn't be the case because of how Summer says "parmesan".

Okay, I think that's everything I wanted to say. I hope that's everything, because I don't want to talk or even think about this episode anymore.

Watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter last night and I... Just can't understand how even Stephen King and Del Torro are fans? I'm happy so many people enjoyed it but I found it baffling in its disregard for the plot, the characters and any and all lore, and just good cinema? It's such a pity because I was so hyped. And even more of a pity because the movie is SO beautiful in regards to set, filmography and score. Gah!

Spoilers below

The rules set up in the book? Toss them: not a single rule aside from Dracula only coming out at night (which is not even a fixed rule in the book) is followed. Dracula isn't bothered by crucifixes and does not use his morphing power to become other creatures. Which means the iconic final scenes of the captain being bound to the ship an dog-ula jumping off the ship did not happen.

creature design: by the time dracula leaves his castle he's looking like a nice old man with an eccentric mustache and can speak perfect English. He planned his departure for decades at least. This Dracula looks like a half-decayed corpse monster, which I could have understood as a creative decision (i.e. dracula not bothering to look nice since he'll kill them all anyways) but dracula is also weakened and seems to be barely able to understand English. I'm supposed to think this creature managed to plot to have his coffin brought to the ship and multiple residences having been set up in the UK for him when he's this weak and monsterly? And the design after looking at it for a while doesn't look monsterly, just very ugly and dumb. And the burning scenes for the sired crew looked bad. very bad. The gruesomeness was cool though.

Book-dracula is dumb, he's dumber: so book dracula is dumb because he ate his way through the crew before arriving safely, right? and his hubris gets him killed in the end as well. But this thing? Even more dumb. Book dracula planned his trip for decades at least. He's got tons of wooden crates with dirt because he knows he might need to be able to hide in them when another coffin is found out. But it also has the added benefit of making it harder to find him, because there's many identical boxes, and if the crew were to start searching, the odds of finding him before he managed to escape were lower. This dumbo has x amount of random crates, and then one MEGACRATE with his crest which is so obvious it's stupid. Also: what's his game? Hiding or not hiding? He hides his first body but not the blood on the ship? But then some other killings he's not even ashamed of being seen? Why?

bad movie making: why add additional people? Is there a point to Clemens' backstory? He didn't use his doctor skills a lot and his backstory has no pay off in the end. Anna is just an infodump. The boy is a great actor and lovely, but he was just inserted to draw on our heartstrings. On top of that the movie doesn't set up its reveals properly. Sure, dracula sired/half transformed some of the crew and Anna, but with the first man he is first just a transforming mess, then becomes possessed at night when dracula practices control over him, and at dawn he's suddenly sensible somewhat? He's immediately dying to sunlight. Then Toby. No transformation, just straight up dead? And then turns monsterly during the day??? That's another way of it happening, no logical repeat. Then Anna is suddenly revealed to have been slowly dying? But it wasn't set up by any kind of sun-sensitivity or her temporarily losing control over her actions? A shame.

Dumb actions; they hammer the ship shut so dracula "only has one way out". But dude? he's literally gotten into every room of the ship without explanation or broke his way through. Why wouldn't he be able to now? Are the characters amnesiacs?

This was so frustrating because I LOVE the books, and I love almost all dracula movies, and there's a lot of bad ones and B-movies and even C-movies. Bad special effects, gore and unfaithful adaptations don't phase me. But I need the characters to be consistent and not dumb, for there to be some rules about vampires, for the movie to be consistent and for the plot to make sense, for characterization to be a chekhov's gun instead of random trivia.

AHHH the way I had to pause and scroll back when I saw the Atlas, post!!! I don't normally find people who read the random KU books I find but !!! I'm reading it right now, I'm on book four, I wanna fuckin know what Nox's deal is and I have a sneaking suspicion I do and I love the other boys, Atlas or Gryphon is my favorite!! (I was so scared in the first book that Atlas was going to be bad because legit him being so all in for her from the beginning was worrying me)

I'm on book 4 as well! I broke my toe/foot on Sunday so I've been sleeping like shit in my boot cast thing and I've SPED through them. They're SO GOOD. They need more hype.

North is my main man because I love a dark haired blue eyed man with both a God complex AND a savior complex. Because not only could I fix him, I COULD MAKE HIM WORSE.

Gryphon I'd my second favorite because we have a COMPETENCE KINK in this house and that man GETS SHIT DONE.

UGH. The whole universe is so cool and very unique. Her writing can be repetitive at times but it's easy to look past because the dynamics with the men are all so different and wonderful. Everyone serves a need and a job and has a different personality. I've given up on a LOT of reverse Harems lately because all of the men are the same cookie cutter dude and I can't tell them apart.

Fire Emblem Engage 18 - 20

Spoilers beneath the cut. This game is SO much fun to play, even if the plot is a bit basic.

Also, I'm shipping Alear with someone HARD.

Ok, so I paired Lief with Goldmary because I thought she'd benefit from the extra build staff and he 100% friendzoned her in their support, lamo.

Time for just about everyone to get Canto. About to see a lot of Sigurd's support conversations. Ivy, Hortensia, Seadall, Chloe, Goldmary, and Merrin are all getting Canto. Alfred already has it. I have Kagetsu with Sigurd right now and may or may not leave it that way. We'll see.

Ouch, Ivy's and Sigurd's support hurt. He talked about knowing the pain of a grieving child. My heart. 😭😭😭 His with Hortensia is pretty much the same. 😭😭😭

Goldmary commits to her gimmick. She is gaslight, gatekeep, and girlboss all in one.

Has anyone found a good use for Ike's blessing? It's makes everything so heavy and the rewards don't seem worth it.

Ok, so it looks like they already patched in (or added) a way to grind supports as a free update (I'm getting the DLC, but not yet). That was one of my biggest complaints about this game is how hard it is to get supports, esp since it encourages you to constantly replace your units, like every single freaking chapter almost throws superior units at you. Way worse than previous games. This should fix that a bit.

Oh, wow, and it got me Alfred and Yunaka's A support first time! I dropped her because I swear she didn't get a single strength point in her level ups, but their supports were really interesting so far. But I didn't get Ivy and Zelkov's C when they swam together so . . . not sure how strong this is, but it's welcome nonetheless. Doing it twice unlocked their C support. Not bad, esp if you have this from the start next time and can grind out more supports.

Rosado taking his life in his hands claiming he's cuter then Goldmary. And Yunaka and Alfred's final support was pretty cute.

Eirika talking about Lyon will never not hurt me. Her paralogue was a big step up in difficulty from Corrin, I feel. I think it was the map layout constricting movement so much and her wing sword making is harder to take advantage of the flier friendly areas.

Somniel is more fun gameplay wise than the Monastery because it's less necessary and feels less tedious, but man does it mess with the storyline way more than the Monastery did. Lief is like "there are still rings in trouble!" and Goldmary is just . . . lying in her bathing-suit and tanning. It's unintentionally funny.

Sombron is pissed that he lost Eirika and Sigurd. No mention of Lief though. 😭

So . . . Alear and Veyle are siblings, right? That means Lumera had sex with that dude.

Yessssss I was so hyped seeing a chapter on the water. I love ship battles. And a recruitable enemy too! This is like old-school FE.

So "the Miracle" that all the Emblems are discussing and mentioning Lumera, is it reviving someone back to life? Also, cool that Sigurd took the lead there.

Man, I just had one of the most satisfying overrides yet. It was during Lief's paralogue, and Kagetsu!Sigurd with Ridersbane must've taken out like 6 of Lief's mage horses.

I also sent Alfred way out by himself to chase down the speedwing on Lief's map. I "told him" that if he survived, he'd get the speedwing. Boy tanked everything like a champ and ended up MVP of the battle (deserved), so now he's 2 points faster.

Both Kagetsu and Ivy are level 19, so I'm doing Ch 19 before Sigurd's paralogue hoping they reach 20 there, and I can reset before doing that chapter where there's a TON of units to fight.

Are we going to fight wolves AGAIN? I hope they die for good this time.

So is Mauvier only staying with the 4 wolves to protect Veyle? Or partly? So I still predict we can recruit him later. I wish we could recruit Griss. Dude is unhinged. I'd love to see supports lol.

I think it's cool that Alear wanted to leave the area because there's no one left. But also fell a bit harder for Alfred who struggled with that decision the most.

This map is going to be VERY annoying with all that purple shit everywhere. Though, do I get Micaiah and Roy back after this?

It's amazing to me that we can destroy the Wolves so many times, and they keep trash talking. Somehow. They're so pathetic. And then, yet again, our heroes are chitchatting and somehow the enemies keep running away. I think it's best you just turn your brain off.

Alfred is like, "should we really let them go?" The voice of reason, finally. But Roy and Micaiah back!

I like Ivy so much more than I expected too. She's hilarious. Her B support with Panette was gold (and some really good voice acting too).

Why does no one ever want to spar with Kagetsu? 😭 There are so many supports about sparring, but not poor Kagetsu. He needs to support Alfred. He's always down for training.

There are so many characters I want to use next time because I like their personalities: Jade, Citrinne, Rosado, Fogado, Zelkov, and Boucheron are some. Pannette has promise. Lapis seems cute. I'm sure Timerra MUST have more to her than songs about eating meat.

Chloe and Merrin are girlfriends. Also, Goldmary starts stripping naked in her support with Framme. Didn't put that on my bingo card.

Micaiah's paralogue map is an amazing choice. Alcryst is the 3-13 Archer this time I guess lol. And there's a stand-in for Sothe too I see. Glad he got a little shout out there.

I GOT THE DEER 😭

Goldmary needs some real issues in her life. Homegirl is having a breakdown because she made a funny face while eating. Who knew her and Framme's support would have so much entertainment?

So at the end of Roy's paralogue he's like "I used to know this demon dragon who wanted to wipe out humanity, you kinda remind me of her." Uh, thanks??? What are you trying to say exactly, Roy?

Mauvier is a Camus archtype 100%, except hope he's recruitable.

Alfred's reassuring Alear. I swear, these two are literally perfect for each other. I've never shipped a self-insert character with someone this hard before.

Oh, will I get Celica back this time? She deserves much better than Griss. He's like the anti-thesis of what Celica stands for.

How come Griss gets to use Ragranok every. single. turn. I never get to do that. Kagetsu finally sent that asshole back to his tile. Couldn't have done it if I didn't trust Alfred a metric fuck ton and just sent him out there.

Woop, got Celica back. She's free! Only Marth left.

Griss was easy to deal with after he stopped attacking me every round. Also, why are we not killing Griss and just letting him laugh about whatever he's so amused over.

Poor Alear just learned that she's the child of Sombron. Ok, Alear needs some headpats. She's confused how she can be Lumera's and the Fell Dragon's child. My dear, it takes two.

Alfred says he doesn't believe it. The only one who said something to try and help her feelings and not about the situation.

I like seeing Sigurd get more focus again. I really hope this means FE4 remake is coming.

So Lumera isn't Alear's blood mother? But, the writers DO know you need two to have a baby divine/fell dragon, right?

Alfred being the first to support Alear 😭😊❤️ And so unquestioning and complete about it. Alear's response to him got me too. Like, I'm falling for this ship hook, line, sinker. I'm going to have a hard time pairing up Alear or Alfred with anyone else unless their S-Support is a dud.

Like, I like Dimileth and Chrobin well enough and all, but I ship all 4 of those with other people too, and sometimes more (like Dimitri and Chrom). But, like, I ONLY am shipping Alfred and Alear with each other so far.

I love how casual Alear is seeing Mauvier wander up, when like we've fought to kill each other multiple times.

Also, I'm rich again! Thank you, Elusia. I may actually be able to afford the cute outfits now.

Honestly it baffles me to see people trying to make Hua Cheng's love for Xie Lian completely unexistent. Come on, dude fought 33 gods and burned down their temples, lit up 3 THOUSAND LANTERNS FOR XIE LIAN. Died like, 3 times for him, waited 800 years for him, you can't even TRY to argue that Hua Cheng isn't a simp and doesn't love Xie Lian. Now, say that Xie Lian is boring... Anon dearie, you either didn't read the fucking books or your reading comprehension is absolutely flawed. Sure you don't have to love the main character (tho why even like the story if you don't like the protagonist or smt), but at least you gotta respect others and stop trying to push an agenda only you are seeing. Besides, Xie Lian is awesome and I don't know how you can say he isn't. Anyways, Sorry abt the rant Ava, I'm just getting absolutely fed up with this anon and I'm about to throw hands, Calamity style - 🐉🦋

By all means I encourage it!

As you said, you don't have to have a deep attachment for it by any means, but at least understand the basics of the plot that are textual information as comprehension. I spoke of something similar just earlier with @ladypfenix, she said something that is very apt in regards to the fandom (at least the western side of it):

"And probably because they want to treat her (MXTX's) works like marvel fandom where people get shoved together on a whim and a decent author can create more chemistry than the movies do and it just doesn’t work that way."

And this has a lot of truth to it, mainstream western media is given almost nameless slates for fans to project on to garner further revenue, the fans are what are made to fuel and funnel that interest themselves and when others of course join, they are met with something honestly lackluster and you are left there going "this is what was so hyped?". It's an interesting phenomenon that is pretty unique to the western sphere of fandoms. They are made to fill holes that very few creators want to bother with and don't care about character inconsistencies when they're are 20 others also writing a plot. Ironically with many not even actually meeting each other to really discuss the scripting.

This is also why the usual love of "crossovers" doesn't quiet feel so easy to do with MXTX's works, there are rules of her being worlds, that are not interchangeable, nor are the characters interchangeable to fit anything and everyone. They are on such different spheres of experience and personality, I dare say most would not interact with each other of their own choosing. When characters are that deeply explored by the author, there really isn't anything to make "better" or fix without it being a horribly shallow mediocre rendition that loses the charm of the original.

Really one major theme that can be shared by the love interests of her works is their devotion to who they love with their all. And as I have said before, it is not about if that love is deserved, because they don't want to feel as a burden or troublesome to that beloved. It is meant to be a very unselfish romantic love despite all the traumas they may have faced, it is not because of who they loved and they will never see it as such.

Hua Cheng wanted others to stop placing unbelievable expectations on Xie Lian, since saving a nobody at the time that nobody else cared about, was able to save that life. Lan Wangji wanted others to realize that Wei Wuxian was always good and placed the burden of protection of others on his shoulders despite the harm it ultimately did to Wei Wuxian, it wasn't about being right, but being human and caring. Luo Binghe wanted someone to see him at his most awkward and real, to be able to be seen as vulnerable without being tossed away for showing that side of himself and being looked on with the usual disgust if he did fall.

It's an endearing theme for them to be able to finally find someone to have that with and be virginal because you simply are waiting for someone to share that with. Thinking of love as something precious as well as sex isn't something to scoff at, given how much of media tells is the opposite while also degrading those that are casual.

What do you think about each Megaman X’s main games?

These may not be my in-depth thoughts on the X series, but if you want the gist anyways...

• X1 was (and still is) a fantastic first impression from both a gameplay and story standpoint. Makes me all the more salty that Capcom thought that making Maverick Hunter X a PSP exclusive was a good idea. In all seriousness, it accomplished what it set out to do (being the start of a MegaMan series for the next generation). Oh, and the OST slaps.

• X2 was a pretty damn good follow-up to the first game. Opens up strong (RIP Green Biker Dude), and the X Hunters provided that extra layer of tension in rebuilding Zero before they do. Oh, and the OST slaps.

• X3 was an okay game. Not spectacular, as it did fall short of the first two, but you also never forget that moment where Zero bursts in from the ceiling and - OH SHIT, I'M PLAYING AS ZERO?! Shame Zero was implemented so haphazardly after all that hype from X1 and 2, tho. Anyhow, I've played X3 the most out of the early X series to the point where I can name off every single X3 Maverick by heart. Always thought that Dr. Doppler was neat, too. Oh, and the OST slaps.

• If playing as Zero in X3 was only an appetizer, then him being fully playable in X4 is the creme of the crop! I always admired that Capcom stuck to their guns and kept X4 a 2D game instead of just diving headfirst into 3D (we would eventually have Legends for our 3D MegaMan fix). Gameplay was fantastic (if a little on the easy side) and I never brought this up before, but I love X4's selection of weapons the most. The story of X4... not gonna lie is kinda dumb in retrospect. Okay, I'm gonna TRY and talk about X4 without bringing up its... "infamous" English dub, but I just can't empathize with Repliforce (except maybe General's sacrifice at the end) because their situation could've easily been avoided. Not that X and Zero were much better, given that Zero shouldn't have attacked Colonel if the latter just wanted to talk, and X... let's be real here, X got completely shafted from a story standpoint because the interesting story beats (and I use that term loosely) happens in Zero's campaign. Well, at least this game gave us Magma "HE BETRAYED THE IRREGULAR HUNTERS AND HID HIMSELF IN A VOLCANO" Dragoon, and the armors you can get for X are fun to mess around with. Oh, and the OST slaps.

• X5... Hoo boy, X5. You know the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Well, X5 feels like the result of someone who didn't quite get that memo. It's not a bad game by any means, but it does a myriad of questionable things (oh hey, Alia). I always wondered what it was about Capcom making the 5th entries in their franchises the most handhold-y yet also most frustrating games ever (oh hey, Dual Destinies). Not to mention the Enigma cannon having a chance of failing even at 100% completion. As a (at the time) finale to the X series, it stumbles in places, but it's an okay send-off, in my opinion. Even has a celebratory vibe to it from the moment you boot the game up. Oh, and the OST slaps.

• X6 was a headache and a half; doomed to fail from the start since it was greenlit (and against Inafune's wishes, no less). Also, Zero's back now! Never you mind that he was just an arm and a talking torso the last time we saw him; he hid himself while he tried to repair himself, clearly! In all seriousness, this game was very slapped together to make a quick buck off of brand recognition, and it shows. Even the plot feels like little more than a first draft (how much of that is due to the game's REALLY poor English localization if it had any, who knows?) The Nightmare was poorly thought out too, and the bosses? What can I say? They suck too. At least the OST slaps.

• What can I say that hasn't been said already about X7? It controls like molasses, the 3D sections were forcibly tacked on, the voice acting (while not nearly as bad as X4's imho) was stiff and atrocious, X's portrayal in this game (though I didn't mind it as much as most people did) is infamous for a number of reasons, and the less said about one particular fire-based Maverick, the better. If anything good came from X7's existence, if you asked me... it's Axl. No seriously, I remember being one of the few people on the planet who actually liked Axl as a character (not sure if that's changed any in recent times, though). At least the OST still slaps.

• X8 was a decent (if a little mis-timed) pallette cleanser after X7 came and went. Although, weirdly enough, it's the only game in the X series I played from beginning to end once, and then never touched again. I can never remember why, though. Oh, and the OST slaps.

Klance angst week: Tuesday

"C'mon Lance," he. Said hyping himself up and slapping his cheeks. "It's just a confession. What's the worst that can happen?"

"He could hate you forever,"

"You'll never be friends again,"

"You know that we are right,"

He arrived, grabbing a plate of food and sitting to enjoy, eyes scanning around for a certain someone.

"So, what are we going to do?" Keith asked.

"But- it doesn't change anything" Lance sobbed lightly.

"He's gay?? And he likes ME. Uugh, is shouldn't have said those things, he may be ... gay... buy he is my friend.

"Oh please you know being gay is wrong, and un natural, and filthy and-" Keith shuddered, sitting down on his bed.

His room

Keith arrived and knocked on the door

"GO away" Lance's voice still sounded dry and croaky.

" Lance I need to apologise" this, seemed to grab Lance's attention, he blew the door open, fury riddled across his tear stained face.

"Oh fuck off." Lance spat at Keith.

Look, dude I know what I did was wrong but I didn't mean-"

"Hold on, what is going on!?" Shiro demanded

"Shut up shiro" Lance snapped "I need you to have said those awful things in the first place, do you understand me Keith. Just because you had a rough upbringing, doesn't mean that you can take your internalised homophobia out on me! Okay!?..." Keith looked at Lance in awe. Pidge, shiro and Hunk.were simply staring, mouths agape and eyes wide open. Finally, there was a strange silence that hadent been heard for a long while at this point.

"I fucking hate you Keith, get out of my sight." And Lance slammed the door.

Val's chest reverberates with a low, foreboding chuckle. He steps closer, taking full advantage of his height to loom. ཐིཋྀ "You might not be one of my whores but I'm still gonna bitchslap you like one if you don't shut the fuck up and do as I say."

Urk-... he glowered UP at him. Why was everyone so freakishly tall in hell, anyway? That's HIS thing! In heaven, anyway. Aside from Sera, the actual statute of liberty herself and a few other eldritch seraphim, the first man was six thousand years ahead of being bred down to a short king.

"Look dude, it's in literal writing that I only do what one of you says- so pop off to the TV-Dinner downstairs if your ass hurts about it ~ " Technically he's not being mean. But the collar is still snug enough for him to not risk another python squeeze.

"But tell ya what. I'll give you a demo, free of charge." The collar seemed complacent at that, so he flashed the golden axe into his arms with a quick flex of his talons and proceeded to pluck a certain riff while he side-stepped and circled the puddle on the floor like he's playing it an introductory hype up despite it already being there flat as well...liquid on tile.

"Bowowow wow ~ wowowowowow. BOW wow wow WOW waugh waugh waugh WAUGH-HAHhh?? Just gimme a kiss! " The notes from a heavenly instrument in hell is a ground rumbling affair. Mostly a bass boosted affair that sent tremors up through legs. It started to cause the liquid on the ground to centrifuge up just to escape the vibrations. "-yeah, she knew what she was doin' and I knew it when she told me to..." A stomp on the now clean tile and he slid his leg through the rising puddle with a strutty strum downwards to send the particles upwards and swirling around him. "Walk this way! Now walk this wayyy ~ " And with each command commandeered by the particular direction of his twangs, the drink particles followed orders, putting on a firefly like show until he directed them all into one ball over his head.

"-walk this waaaay. Uh-like THIS!" And on one final screeching to a stop note, he rammed his tongue through the V shape of talons he'd pressed to his lips and caught the Capri Sun drizzle at the tip of it before the mess could make its way back onto the floor. Hopefully the cum-stain free floor. Not even a five second rule would fix that.

I'm now realizing I don't think I actually ever commented on your fics, but I also am Lazy and don't want to go and comment on every chapter of each of your fics [today. I'll do it someday, but I am small and tired today.], so imma just do one big rant. Fics in order of as I remember it lol

Old Timer: I read this fic a while after reading Displaced, and it's what kicked me into reading all your stories lol. The whole concept is so interesting, and I love how you portray Eidard and the other Makers. [Also bear supremacy thank you for your service.]

Displaced: This is the fic that introduced me to you. I had No Fucking Clue what Darksiders was, but I loved your story so much that I kept looking into it and ended up buying the game when I happened to see Strife on a cover a few months later. I love this fic sm. It hits all the perfect spots and I kept thinking about what would happen after the fic, even now.

Exposure Therapy: This one's solidly up there as one of my favorites. The tension you build in it is immaculate, and it feels so grounded. Like, yes! This is a city and people recovering from a world-altering apocalypse! Every bit of this fic is amazing, but the scene where Y/n overcomes her fear to be kind and extend her friendship to Strife is just,, perfect. [IT DELETED THIS AND I HAD A WHOLE THING IM PISSED. >:(]

Hollow: This fic was so cute and so sweet that I physically couldn't stop reading. The dialouge felt so natural but also comfortable, in a way. And as someone who works with kids, yeah the kid was Fuckin Cute. And them leaving was so bittersweet and I loved it.

Haven: AAAAHHH THIS ONE. THIS ONE MADE ME AN ULTHANE SIMP. Every moment of this fic is just,, MWAH. The beginning feels so horrifying, and I legit was terrified for the kids, even if I knew you wouldn't kill them off like that. I actually ended up taking the extra safety course at my work because of this fic, I kept thinking about all the kids that come through, and kept linking it back to that scenario. Ulthane is,, the Best in this fic istg. From protecting them on the way to the tree, to fixing the glasses, just,,, WAAHHH I LOVE HIM

A Mortals Coil: Ok, I didn't feel good after this one, but in a good way. The scenario is perfectly grounded, and even though I knew it was coming, I choked up a little when the kid finally died. The grief, the desperation, and even the anger was so wonderfully conveyed that I had to go read fluff fics so I could sleep without feeling that weight on my chest. Just, fucking kudos on that one.

Guardian: I desperately need to reread this one, but I remember loving all the character dynamics and fluff, and tension at the climax when I first read it. May not remember details, but I get a fuzzy happy feeling whenever I think about it, so it must be good lol

On The Ropes: FUUCKKKK WHERE DO I BEGIN. EVERY. FUCKING. SCENE. OF THIS FIC. IS. GODLY.

I genuinely squeal like a little kid getting a Mega Sundae and a puppy whenever I see this update. The tension when they first meet, the slow acceptance, the Holy Shit Friendship??, everything. I love their first meeting, and how strong y/n is for holding their ground, but also how sweet the scene where he let's her clean him up is. And these past few chapters had me SCREAMING to my siblings about it. Every character, every moment, every SCENE feels simultaneously so amazing and beautiful, yet somehow perfectly grounded in reality. Whenever I read it, I feel like I'm going to get a news article on whatever happened that chapter. It's just,, AMAZING.

Finally, Edens Heir: I HAVENT READ IT YET BUT HOLY FUCK YOU POSTED IT ON MY BIRTHDAY THANK YOU I GUESS IM SO HYPED TO READ IT.
