honestly, i wouldn't say he's a nice person. he's a jerk, sure, but he definitely exaggerates that to keep people away from him. he knows he's a bad crowd type to hang around so when he actually likes someone he will try to "set them straight."

this mainly involves him telling his few work friends to quit their jobs cause he truly believes unionizing is impossible under Chatter Inc. (but a union would probably solve all his problems). he'll do as many warnings as he can about bad deals and encourage workplace slacking. consistently.

i guess you could call that his kindness. he knows how fucked up his life got for him to end up in his situation, and so the biggest act of kindness he can muster is make it so you don't end up like him.
