・You’re a dragonseed; a bastard of House Targaryen, or maybe House Velaryon. In all honesty, you had no idea. Your mother could only describe your father as ‘white-haired’.

・And she only spoke of him on her deathbed.

・Now she was gone.

・But you weren’t alone.

・As a child you dreamt of a beast with white glistening scales, almost iridescent.

・Somehow you knew it wasn’t your imagination, that this being was alive and ... waiting for you

・After your mother’s death, you didn’t know what to do with your life. You spent so much time looking after your mother, who was sick for many years.

・And after she died, the simmering anger that you always carried, had boiled over. So, you decided to find your father. The man that had sired you, and abandoned you.

・The reason for your existence.

・In all your searching, you had come up short. Barely able to move, your body sore from all the travelling, you went to the water.

・And he was waiting for you.

・Seemingly small at first, but once he emerged from the lake, he grew and grew.

・A giant. Or maybe you shrank? Your mind was so tired, your thoughts mush.

・But here he was, standing in front of you, waiting. Waiting as he always had been, for you.

・Your dragon, Laku, has a blue flame that burns so hotly that it’s cold.

・You bonded quickly, fiercely and wholeheartedly

・The first time you came into contact there was a mystic hum that made your whole body vibrate. It became euphoric, and there was no doubt that this was your path

・Laku knew where you needed to go.

・Years went by as you climbed the political ladder at court.

・At first they hadn’t accepted you. Not only were bastards looked down upon, but there was anger from both the Blacks and Green because of Laku.

・Except Daemon.

・He had taken a liking to you. An interest so strong that you were always an afterthought in his day-to-day life.

・Your time at court made her realise that things weren’t so black and white with the royals. Unlike the common people, where you said what you meant and respect was earned, these first-class specimens got what they wanted because they were born into it.

・It turned you somewhat sour

・And to quell your rage, you began to train

・You trained every day, and all-day

・In all sorts of weaponry - swordsmanship, archery, etc.

・And Rhaenyra started to warm to you

・She started to think of you as a friend instead of a threat

・But Daemon was constantly leaving court, not that you cared

・Overtime you became a battle-fierce warrior. Your body was scarred and burnt, but it didn’t matter. That heavy hate had burned you to ashes and in its wake, stood a new woman

・You were revered

・People bowed when you walked the corridors, their eyes never meeting your own.

・And Daemon returned

・Laku had changed with you

・Together you were known as the White Death. Where one ended, there was the other.

・You never let Laku become trained, trapped or chained. He was your soul, and you were his

・But you did understand the conflict between Rhaenyra and Alicent - the betrayal, the jealousy, the love and hatred

・Yet, you stood back and watched the conflict unfold

・Daemon returned to court years later and hardly recognised you

・Never saying a word to you, other than a nod, but it was that nod that made your stomach churn

・Not in fear, nor fury, nor discomfort

・But in ...

・Attraction

・You became colder towards him. So much so, that people started to notice

・There were whispers amongst the court

・You ignored it at first, rumours and gossip were a constant in King’s Landing. It was something you had gotten used to.

・How someone so low-born could outright ignore a Prince (not that they had ever liked Daemon. They were only upset because of the disrespect toward someone of noble birth. If you could do it to Daemon, then others could do it to them.)

・But Daemon didn’t care

・He’d stare at you, and then smirk whenever you glared back. He loved getting underneath your skin.

・It seemed like harmless fun, until one night when he’d had too much to drink and ended up in Mysaria’s bed.

・She was angry with him when the sun rose, and he knew why. He had called her your name:

“Why are you still here? Go to her then!”

・And so he did

・You had been training in the yard when you caught a flash of white hair from the corner of your eye

・You swung your sword in a high arc and held the blade close to his neck

・Yes, you already knew who it was. Often you asked yourself how you had known. But you could never answer

・ “M’lord,” you ground out, chest breathing heavily

・ One side of his mouth turned upward, and he crashed his lips to yours. The blade was still close to his throat, never faltering.

・Your relationship with Daemon is never short of exciting

・You live at Dragonstone, and visit King’s Landing

・Laku was unsure of Caraxes in the beginning, his watery grey eyes assessing the Blood Wyrm

・But now they’re good friends, and often enjoy racing each other to King’s Landing and back

・Daemon’s way of physical intimacy is to lean his forehead against you, sometimes on your own, sometimes on your shoulder

・He also loves kneeling in front of you and burying his face in your stomach while you wrap your hands around his head

・Although no one would dare say anything against you, Daemon is like an unheeding warning. A threat that holds frightening violence and pain

・Viserys doesn’t mind your relationship, and he does like you. But your bold opinions are another headache waiting to happen

・Rhaenyra does hold jealousy, and you don’t know this, but she does hold attraction for both Daemon and yourself

More of a Plot Item for DMs and GMS to use, but this could easily be the catalyst for a new plot arc in your campaign!

Seed of Ruin

Wondrous Item, very rare

“A seed roughly the size of a person's fist. The outer shell looks like charcoal dusted with ash. It has a few large cracks that run across it and inside is a glowing, red hot core. The seed seeps out a sickly, orange miasma.”

This magic seed takes 10 minutes to plant firmly in the ground. Once planted it will start to take root and spread its influence to the surrounding areas. After the first 24 hours the seeds' corruption will begin to spread exponentially covering a 10 mile radius within 30 days. The corruption of the seed cannot reach further than 10 miles.

Land corrupted by this seed cannot support life, and so all plants will begin to wilt and die. Similarly, fauna will begin to migrate away from the land, or slowly starve should they remain. The corruption of the seed attracts all kinds of aberrations and monstrosities. If the seed is removed and the area it was buried in cleansed through the use of a hallow spell or similar magic then the corruption of the area will fade within the next 24 hours, allowing life to return.

*: Strawberry Slimes are a friendly type of slime that like to come out and play at springtime, especially during the Strawberry Festival! Do they actually taste like strawberries? Who knows! You’ll have to catch one first. When approaching, these bashful slimes are typically very shy and like to play hide and seek amongst the strawberry bushes. But one sure way to make them come out is by complimenting their flowers! It’s said to make them blush red but no one can really tell anyway.

*: One such Strawberry Slime is Ichigoo! He considers himself very fashion forward. You can tell him apart by the others by his choice of wearing his flower on the left side and his cheek seeds which grow with two on top and one on the bottom.
