I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge Akira Toriyama's recent passing and say that he fundamentally changed how I make comics. Reading all of Dragon Ball and DBZ, just stuck with me in a way that let me realize that the greatest thing of all when working on your art is to remember to have fun with it yourself. Thank you, Toriyama.

Strawberry Slime! 🍓 ₍Ꙭ̂₎

*: Strawberry Slimes are a friendly type of slime that like to come out and play at springtime, especially during the Strawberry Festival! Do they actually taste like strawberries? Who knows! You’ll have to catch one first. When approaching, these bashful slimes are typically very shy and like to play hide and seek amongst the strawberry bushes. But one sure way to make them come out is by complimenting their flowers! It’s said to make them blush red but no one can really tell anyway.

*: One such Strawberry Slime is Ichigoo! He considers himself very fashion forward. You can tell him apart by the others by his choice of wearing his flower on the left side and his cheek seeds which grow with two on top and one on the bottom.

Art I did to process my sadness at Akira Toriyama's passing. Malik's Battle City deck is slime-based so I headcanon he'd love Dragon Quest slimes. I just never thought this would be what made me finally draw it.
