Is this the same Beth who immediately benched Rick?

Would Beth really not tell the JSA if something was putting her, Yolanda & others in danger? Especially if it's something possibly addictive too (whatever the Lazarus pill might be too) She would already have this solved or have benched both herself and Yolanda, a more ic conflict would be Yolanda refusing to be benched.
