Why did Damian attack Tsubasa and Yu?

Before we dive into the hypothesis, let's quickly recap what happened. During episode 88, Tsubasa and Yu are testing their Beys after they were repaired due to the battle against Team Garcia. Gingka and Masamune were battling Zeo at the same time, while Damian, searching for Ryuga, arrived at the scene. He interrupted Libra and Eagle's course while he wasn't looking (reminiscent of how Masamune interrupted Yu and Tsubasa's duel at the beginning of the season). Damian recognized them and asked to help him "test" his new Bey. Immediately after, a giant blast appeared followed by a mushroom cloud resembling Kerbecs.

Many people seem to think Yu and Tsubasa had a battle with Damian, but it seems unlikely. Madoka and Kenta told Gingka that everything happened extremely fast. And Madoka would never have allowed Tsubasa or Yu, let alone both, to battle this strange-looking kid they don't know (since the repair needed time to last). In fact, they didn't pick up their Beys after Damian arrived, so Damian could very well have done the same thing Ryuga did earlier in the same episode with Hades Inc.'s Bladers.

As to why I'm questioning Damian's motives, it's because Team Starbreaker could very well have been eliminated from the championship. Gingka wanted to take revenge in a fair fight, which is why Ryusei agreed not to report the incident. Damian at the time wasn't as chaotic as he was during the street battle in episode 96 or during his fight with Kyoya. It seems strange that he risked Ziggurat's plan just to test his Bey when we know he is extremely loyal to the doctor.

My first guess is that he didn't know Eagle and Libra had been damaged and just intended to intimidate them by knocking them out briefly, rather than putting them into a coma. What is more interesting is that during the final, Damian didn't mention what he did to Tsubasa and Yu a single time. He didn't taunt Gingka about it (when Jack and even Zeo did it). Maybe it is because Gingka took control of the conversation by calling Damian out on the arrangement. It could also be because Damian himself saw it as a mistake, not because he necessarily regrets it, but because it could have, as previously mentioned, impacted the plan to gather data.

Damian might have simply not cared about the consequences. Maybe Ziggurat could have bribed a few people to let it slide (he was made manager of the US team after all, so he must have some connections). Since Damian sees himself as the chosen one, for him, everything he does is justified by this fact. Furthermore, Ziggurat seemed to encourage this kind of behavior.

I do believe Damian wanted to test his power; however, whether he intended to do what he did to Yu and Tsubasa is not clear. I can see him not caring about the consequences since he is often validated by Ziggurat for the awfull things he does, and the fact his personality is influenced by the arrangement.

Bonus:

The Kerbecs cloud is reminiscent of a mushroom cloud made by an atomic bomb. At the end of World War II, the USA bombed Japan twice at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Likewise, at the end of the World Championship, Damian put two members of the Japanese team into a coma and destroyed their beys.

Yep, seems I got the photos and video - we are all good to go and prepare to pass out the photos and video!

But I will admit, it was pretty stressful - I'm just surprise that your able to handle important events like this Taro.

Well I can't deny that events like this can be quite emotional and you need to prepare for everything as this is a very important day for the bribe and groom.

But of course I do have ways to calm myself; good ways to deal with stress and high stake events like this such as taking breaks, getting rest, eating proper and just having time for yourself and being around those that care about you are quite important.

Man... sometimes that advise can be good honestly...

Say, how long have you done weddings before you got to Hope's Peak Academy? What was your first one?

My first one? Well I suppose it would be when I was 3 years old; I was helping my aunt get married though I didn't really plan it - mostly just help with decorations and carrying the ring.

Honestly I was quite happy for my aunt and her husband - even the cake and sweets were good too!

3 years old? Wow, that's pretty young if you ask me...

I suppose it is, I did remember my cousin who was a bit older then me did start to cry when being the flower girl but I did quite enjoy it and had quite a lot of fun and the view from Tokyo Odaiba Chapel was amazing too.

I'm sure you saw photos of that place too, right?

Oh yeah I think so, I did remember seeing photos of it - the view of the ocean looks amazing, especially when it's night time!

Plus I bet your aunt was happy that you helped, huh? How is her and her husband anyway?

...Well sadly as of this year they did get a divorce, it was a bit heart-breaking hearing about it but I suppose that's life.

Oooh...well, that's disheartening... (At least it's nice to hear where he started...)

The relationship between Eggman and Syaoran is very much like Fujitaka and Clone Syaoran.

Eggman Sometime will show a father's side just like he and Sage in Sonic Frontiers. As you see in Tsubasa of Phantasia, Eggman, and Tails were once best friends and know each other very well which makes Eggman understand Syaoran more than anyone else and the reason why Eggman intrust Syaoran to take care and protect Sonic.

Both Tails and Syaoran are kind and very optimistic type. As an experienced Eggman with Tails. He knew no matter how much he tried to trick Tails. Tails won't fall any trick to Eggman no matter how clever he was. Even though Syaoran is not a genius like Tails but Eggman knew Syoaran would make the same decision as Tails.

Eggman knew Tails wouldn't be able to protect Sonic no matter what but Syaoran could because Syaoran is a human the same kind as Eggman. Eggman figures out why King Gilgamesh or Sonic himself trusts Eggman even Sonic hates him.

Now for Shirabe Meshi vol. 2's bonus pages, post 1 of 2 (second post will be posted at a later time and have the bonus manga since this volume has two with multiple pages)

As before, I'm starting with the cover under the sleeve

It takes place at the end of GX when Carol's Green Lion starts to explode (Exterminate starts playing). Dr. Ver is still alive, trapped in the ruined Chateau de Tiffauges, knowing that he's about to die

The arm injected with Nephilim cells attaches itself to the Chateau. Ver assumes the cells are hungry for relics, as they normally would be, but comes to the realization that it's protecting him and begs it to let him die a hero

Ver survives the explosion, and wanders off wondering if his dream of becoming a hero that saved the world has ended

As for the pages after each chapter...

Chapter 7: Shirabe goes to the school library and notices a certain book about being honest with yourself and recognizes the title as advice that Miku gave her. She looks inside at the card with the names of students who have previously checked it out and to her surprise sees..."Yukine Chris"

Chapter 8: Fujitaka says "Huh? K2 is the world's second tallest mountain, what are you talking about?" to which Elfnein panics because she realizes the Autoscorers must have sucked out such an irreplaceable memory along with the memories of food

Chapter 9: Chris is shown giving Valentine's chocolate meant for friends to Genjuro and Ogawa. Genjuro wonders if she thinks of them as friends and comments that he doesn't understand kids these days, but Ogawa says that it makes him sort of happy

Chapter 10: Yumi and Elfnein are singing a slightly altered version of "We Are" from One Piece (replacing the word "yume" with "uta")

Chapter 11: Maria says it's time to sleep and turns off the light. She, Serena, Kirika, and Shirabe lie in their futons for a bit but then Serena says that she heard "in Japan, during times like this, people like to tell scary stories or ones about their love lives" to which Maria responds "WE SHALL NOT!" with Kirika and Shirabe mortified in the background

For context, in this chapter Maria walked in on Shirabe on top of Kirika while they were both naked and assumed they were uh...you know...doing the deed (it was a misunderstanding but that explanation came too late and the embarrassment on both sides had already set in)

Chapter 12's is just art of Tsubasa and Kanade, no text

This is a Winter holiday Hallmark movie doll maker, and I made me/Sha with my SO, Karasu/Eric. ♡

The story had preset choices, and “Alexandra” was the closest to “Alexandria” for me. “Big Apple” (New York) is closest to New Haven CT, and Kyoto Japan has been my dream designation for seven years now, plus my SO is Japanese! ♡ My Crow is also the man of my dreams, so that fits too. =^.^= ♡ I WISH I could meet a real life version of him, but maybe with traits more like Eric Draven from The Crow and Atsushi Sakurai from BUCK-TICK rather than compulsively wanting to kill me like true to character for Karasu, LOL! (I am also an artist and writer, I love romance, and I had a broken heart when me and Karasu got together.)

I’m not having a good time of things lately. Domestic issues, aside from mental and physical health. So, I find the most joy in little pleasures like doll makers, talking with my SO, our children, and Animal Crossing. ♡

(Can I submit this for the last day of Team Toguro Appreciation Week at @yyh-revival too? I'm so sad I didn't get to do more for Karasu during this week! Shit really hit the fan this week! Of course that'd happen to me ... 🥺)
