Hellooo ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ !! This is the second chapter. English is not my first language. Sorry for mistakes, it's not beta read. Here is the Ao3 link
Omne initium difficile est
“Walon…” a sweet voice called out for him. It was familiar, but he couldn’t place it.
“Walon…” Soft hands touched his face. He slowly opened his eyes. Everything around him was orange and red. He could taste the saltwater on his mouth. ‘Where am I?” Vaus hands gone too his neck to touch the gills. ‘They are here… I must be on Irmenu’
He begone swimming upwards. Not so long after he arrived to the surfice. He looked around. A battle must have taken place not so long ago.
Vau hisses and looks down to his hand, where he sees a wound. But when he looks the hands something is wrong. They look… younger? ‘What the Kark is happening?”
He looks around and sees a small island with a small orange dott. ‘I don’t have time for thinking.’ He decides and swims to the closest plank.
Then he waddles in the direction of the island and starts swimming. He does not know, how long would he be able to swim without the plank, but he is confident that he will make it to the island before sunrise.
Vau underestimated himself. ‘Maybe I got younger’ He smiles and shakes his head. He walks out to the island.
He turns back and kneels next to the water. Under the moonlight he could see himself pretty clearly and when he looked he was shocked. He aged back fifthy years. He now remembers where he is. Close to the Kaalan Islands. Close to home… No. That place is not his home. He stoped thinking about it and went back to look into the water again. But when he kneeled down the first light of the sun hit the water and that sweet voice called out to him. “Walon… Help us…”
Then everything went black.
The sun shone through the window straight into Vau’s eyes.
The old man rose from the bed to get dressed and wash his face Mird following into the fresher. Before Vau washes his face he looks into the mirror. Dry tears adorn his face. He quickly washes them of and gets ready.
He walks down on the stairs and heads straight to the kitchen. There he finds Besany working on something.
“Good morning miss Wennen.” He calls out.
“Good morning Seargent.”
Vau walked to the cupboard to make his morning tea. He feels the womans stare. He clears his throath “Miss Wennen. Can I help you with something?”
“I was just wandering. Etain told me what happend yesterday night.” Vau turns around and raises an eyebrow “When are the guest getting here?”
“As soon as I can get somebody to take me to Oyu’baat.” He sighs. “They don’t have some money with them.”
“Hm. Will you pack food for them?” The woman asks looking for a box he can put food into. She takes out two Hydro flasks and a bigger box. “If yes then here are containers. And I will ask if somebody will take you there.” Wennen leaves the containers on the table.
Vau thanks her and she leaves the room. Mird goes over to the counter and sniffs the food
Walon packs from breakfast and starts boiling tea. ‘What type of tea they would like?… Fruit. They are kids, they must like that. Or maybe herb…’ Somebody was stomping in the direction of the kitchen. It must be one of the nulls.
“Seargent Vau. When are we going?” Mereel calls out.
“As soon as I finished the tea.” He turns around and crosses his arms, staring at the young man. “Do you have any questions?”
“What did you do to Kal buir last night?” Suprisingly there is no anger in his voice, just curiosness.
Vau sighed. “I will explain it after the guests arrived. I will make an educated guess and state that you are comming with me. No?” The old man offerd this question.
“Somebody needs to do it. Can I ask something else?” Mereel raises his eyebrow.
“Go. Ask.”
“Who are these people?”
“Mereel I’m not sure. But if you want to ask are they trustworthy people, then I think yes. They are from Irmenu, so they are not correlated with the Empire. And the person who sent them was my par… friend.” He does not finish that word. The young man has no need to know this information. “And if they are from a resistance then they probably don’t want my head.”
Mereel snorts “Especially because they are children.”
“Don’t under estimate them. I have a feeling we will be suprised by them.” Vau mused
“You just said you trust them…” Vau turned away and put the tea inside the Hydro flasks. He handed one to Mereel and grabbed the container on the table.
“Let’s get going if you want to get answers quicker.”
Both man walked out of the kitchen and Mereel went to the karyai. Vau quessed that he went to say goodbye. If he went for that then it was fast. Both of them fastened their boots and went out to the speeders.
“Are you not bringig Mird?” Mereel asked suprised
“No. I don’t want to scare the kids.” Mereel mumbels under his breath ‘That never stopped you before.’ Vau smirked. Mereel turned to him.
“How many of them are?” Mereel asked.
“I think two. But expect packages.” Mereel shook his head in understance and went to chose a speeder. Vau haven’t seen this vehicle before. It seats five people and has a closed roof. It is perfect for this trip.
“This one is not the fastest speeder, but it is private.” Mereel explains.
“Thats perfect. I hope you had eaten breakfast, because I wont rush to get back.” Vau proclaims and gets into the front.
“I was not planning to…” The young man gets into the drivers seat. Walon looks at him and notices that he does not want to elaborate. They leave it at that.
They drive was silent but not uncomfortable. After an hour they arrived at Keldabe when Vau gets a Holocall. The old man looks at the Comlink and sees that Fenn Shysa is calling. He takes the call and puts it on speaker.
“Vau speaking. We are already in Keldabe.”
“Good. But we have a small problem.”
Vau sighs. “What is it?
“The kids. They speak an older type of common. There are some things I don’t even understand.” Walon can hear chatter from the background.
“It’s okay. I can.” Vau looks around “We are almost there.”
“Got it. Shysa out.”
“That will cause some problems. Wont it?” Mereel asks.
“Some, yes. But not much. Many things are relatively easy to figure out.” Vau asks. “We are here.”
Mereel stops and both of them get out of the car. The Oyu’baat is pretty run down. One of the walls had a hole in it that was freshly taken care of. When they arrived to the main door Fenn Shysa was already standing in the door. The man looked interested. The three of them walked in and greated the bartender. The woman smiled at them and told them where the guests room is.
The walk upstairs was silent. The three man even rushed a bit. When they arrived to the door Fenn Shysa knocked. The door opened and a tall teen was standing in the door. Their gold eyes locked in instantly on Walon Vau. They quickly bowed and turned back to the room.
“Kaalom.” They called out. A boy around 12 runned out of the Refresher.
“Yaa!”
“Gar to Oulom!” They called out. Walon needed a little thinking to translate ‘It’s draak.’ He smirks to himself. It was so long ago since he heard it.
The two other man look at him, not understanding what the kids are saying.
“The boy was sent to get the flowers. It’s costumary to give flower.” Mereel raises his eyebrows. “Every flover has it’s own meaning. It’s almost a diplomatic message.”
“So that’s why I got them.” Fenn proclaims. Vau shakes his head in agreement.
The teen gathers their younger brother and tells him to stand in the door next to them. The older one steps forward and puts their hand with the flowers. Vau studies them for a bit.
Vau takes the flowers while the two children bow deeply. He bows too and starts putting the flowers meaning together.
“Shress is for good wishes,” He turns to the other two mandalorians and starts explaining “Ophiannas are for humility” He points at blue flowers that are shaped like bells “Doil’s are powerful against evil. They are said to protect from evil spirits.” He turns them a little bit “Ice Feverfew. They are hard to come by. These little ones only grow in the cold mountains. They represent courage” He point at little white flowers “Daydream Spoolwoods. They are for wishing good fortune.” He brings it closer to the two men. “And lastly, Zine. They represent Faith, Hope or Trust.” He looks at Mereel. “What do you think Mereel. Is this code for something?”
The young man studies the flowers. He knows Vau is testing him.
“Maybe something to do with warding evil away? Because The most of it is that type of flower.” Mereel wonders. Vau raises his hand up for a handshake
“Good job.” Mereel varily shakes hand with Vau.
The old man bows again. “Hrala niu”
The two children straighten up.
“Yer name is Walon Vau richt?” The young boy asks.
“Kaalom” His older sibling shushes him “Ber min potar”
“Kaaah” the boy sighs.
“I am sorry for his manners. Mine name is Miine and this is mine brother Kaalom.” The older one bows first then pushes their brother into a bow too. “It is most nice to meet thou Count Vau.”
Vau shakes his head “Nice to meet you too. But I’m not a count.”
“Ach, i am sorry, our grandmother told us this. I do forget it.”
Vau raises his eyebrows. “May I ask who is your grandmother”
The young boy looks exited “She is the crimson captain. Cordelia, the lost dauchter o the count o Malli” The older one chuckles.
Vau is suprised. Cordelia? A captain? Well she kept herself buisy all this time. Vau clears his throat “And who is your grandfather” He crunches down onto the level of the boy
“Y-” Miine suddenly puts their hand onto Kaaloms mouth. “We are not sure. He ne'r very came up.”
Vau raises his eyebrow in supprise. He almost forgot that there are two other people that need to be introduced. He stands up and clears his throat. “You have already met Fenn Shysa right?” The children shake their head in syncron. “This young man is Mereel” He points at him.
“Nice to meet thou Mereel.” Miine turns to him and bows.
He smiles and bows too “Pleasure too meet you two.” He looks at Vau and turns back “Are you packed up? We soon should get going.” He looks at his Chronometer. “Its almost mid-day.”
Vau shakes his head in agreement. The two kids run back and bring out their bags.
The five of them go downstairs and say their goodyes to Fenn Shysa. When they get out the kids are a little bit wary of getting inside the speeder, but after a little convincing they where back on their way to Kyromout
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Achieving 60% Business Growth with Website Optimization and Lead Generation
Tumblr media
As a result, over 60% of marketers name generating leads as their greatest challenge, and nearly 70% name converting leads as their top concern. Many marketers prioritize digital marketing for lead creation because it is one of the most effective methods.
Unfortunately, many websites need to be built for lead creation, even though digital marketing centers on the website. These sites are slow, require more material, and need to be mobile-friendly, making it extremely difficult to attract qualified leads.
You can overcome this obstacle by transforming your site into a lead creation platform. Keep reading to learn more about creating a website that generates leads. Check out some top-notch cases in point for online lead creation and learn from their strategies to improve your own site’s performance. Linking Dotts is here to assist if you need a website that generates leads, so visit us online or call us!
We’ve identified the five most crucial elements based on an analysis of successful lead creation websites.
Let’s take a look at each of them in greater depth below.
Improve the fundamentals of your website.
Buyer’s Journey Diagram
Improve your content’s performance by starting from the end.
Utilize lead generation instruments and magnets
Activate lead development
Which Areas To Optimize?
Website optimization comes first. These three “must-haves” must be in place before your website can begin generating prospects.
Speed Should Be Fast
People won’t wait around for a sluggish website. Research shows that if a page takes longer than two seconds to load, 87% of visitors will leave. If you want to know how quickly your website loads, you can use a page performance tool.
Free Of Clutter
Consider your own time spent online. If a website looks like it was built in the 90s, how likely are you to give your contact information?
Mobile-Optimized
Over half of all Google queries are performed on mobile devices. Most prospective customers will encounter your business for the first time via the mobile form of your website. If you want to generate leads online, your website needs to be user-friendly from the moment someone visits it until they leave their contact information. Lead generation efforts will only succeed when your website is optimized online. Designing a website is a vast subject in and of itself; therefore, you should familiarize yourself with the most critical aspects of a well-designed site.
Describe The Steps A Potential Customer Takes To Become A Paying Customer.
It’s time to dive into the buyer’s path now that you’ve ensured your website is quick, easy to understand, and mobile-friendly.
animation depicting a plan
Remember that your website visitors are at various points in the purchasing process and have varying needs. Most website visitors are out of the market to make a transaction when they arrive.
Don’t fret, though. Many more site visitors will convert into leads if you pay attention to the various phases people go through before purchasing and try to comprehend their typical desires and obstacles.
The use of frameworks can aid in conceptualizing the buyer’s path. I’ve listed three of them here and some illustrations of how they could be used.
AIDA
One of the most well-known marketing frameworks is the AIDA model, which describes the customer’s journey from consciousness to interest to desire to action.
In this phase of the buyer’s journey, the company must first gain the customer’s attention and pique their curiosity in some way. From there, the company needs to pique the shopper’s interest enough to inspire them to take the next step toward purchasing.
Example:
Awareness
One of the biggest challenges in the canine food industry is raising brand awareness. While browsing the web, they come across your blog article recommending the healthiest dog foods. Your brand recognition among them has increased.
Interest
They become “interested” in your company’s gluten-free dog food brand after reading more articles about dog food.
They Would Want To Have It:
They look into various other types of gluten-free dog food and evaluate their pros and cons. They will “want” to purchase more of your gluten-free brand after reading reviews from other customers who made the same decision.
Action
What they do is they “act” by placing a purchase. The canine has gone from not knowing your gluten-free brand to preferring it.
AEC
“attract, engage, and convert” describes the second paradigm.
In this buyer’s journey, the company first attracts leads by providing them with helpful information, then engages them after becoming leads by distributing outreach materials and content that shows empathy, and finally converts them into clients and advocates.
Example:
Attract
To “attract” new email prospects, you create an email course on your dog food website detailing the best way to feed a new puppy.
Engage
After prospects have signed up and completed the training, you can “engage” them by alerting them to new and helpful blog articles on canine nutrition.
Convert
In other words, most of your email list’s subscribers buy your “Gluten Free Dog Food Monthly Subscription” service.
The Five Levels of Conscience
The third and concluding framework focuses on educating the customer at various touchpoints.
Customers are “unaware” that they have an issue, and your company is responsible for educating them to the “most aware” level. They have concluded that your company’s answer is the best for them, and they are now raving about you to their friends and family.
Example:
The Unawareness Stage
Currently, canine owners must know the dangers inherent in feeding their pets cheap, mass-produced dog food from the supermarket. You’ve set up a Facebook ad campaign for your company that links to an article discussing these dangers.
Once they find and read your article, they will have reached the “problem awareness” stage and know that low-quality store-brand dog food is a problem. They give this to their own canine and then search your site for answers.
The Solution Orientation Phase
Your website has a separate blog entry in which you discuss healthy alternatives to cheap store-brand dog food. They have developed “solution awareness.”
Phase Of Product Recognition
They’ve done enough reading about your company’s gluten-free dog food to become “product aware” of it. If you want to get them something, this is it.
The Peak of Consciousness
People are buying your healthy canine food because their pets enjoy eating it. They become utterly obsessed with your brand at the “most aware” level and enthusiastically spread the word to all of their canine-owning friends.
Create your own buyer’s trip map now. If you’re looking for a simple solution, try out a program like SmartDraw.
What processes do people go through before they become prospects after visiting your site? Before they turn into actual paying clients? The issues your audience encounters and the potential content you can create at each stage can be better understood if you carefully consider the answers to the questions above. After that, you’ll have a clearer idea of converting them into a lead by offering your solution.
Content Optimization Should Be Performed In Reverse
The creation of content is the cornerstone of lead acquisition. It’s the best way to get people to visit your website, establish your credibility as an expert in your field, and forge a lasting relationship of confidence with your audience.
However, the third stage for generating leads is often overlooked and may seem counterintuitive at first: optimizing your content backward. This implies working back from the final stage of the funnel’s progression. Optimizing content like product checkout landing pages should take priority over blog posts in practice.
This is because a lead’s value increases as they progress deeper into the sales pipeline and get closer to making a purchase. Due to the multifaceted nature of a marketing funnel and the many entrance points available, identifying the most effective strategies at the very top of the funnel can be challenging. It makes sense to focus on prospects at the bottom of the funnel.
That means you should still pay attention to prospects that will only produce results after a period of time. In the previous chapter, we discussed how different site visitors are at various stages of your funnel, highlighting the need to create content for all funnel stages.
Nonetheless, content marketing aims to convert readers into paying clients by informing and entertaining them. Your company will only succeed if you prioritize the most promising prospects at the bottom of the sales funnel.
Create and use lead magnets and other items.
A lead magnet is an enticing incentive for people still deciding whether to purchase but would still like to learn more about your company. They give up their time in return for a monetary or material reward.
On the other hand, lead generators provide more than just the opportunity and mean to follow up with prospective clients. Lead magnets come in a wide variety, and many of them can help you establish yourself as an industry expert, gain your audience’s confidence, and take command of the story. And that bodes well for converting those prospects into actual buyers down the road.
Before working on lead generators, get acquainted with the best practices of a lead form and landing page. You should also make sure your lead attraction is something people actually want. This is where testing with a target group comes in. Insights into the stages of the buyer’s path reveal where lead magnets should be placed on your website.
Let’s talk about some of the best lead magnets, real-world instances, and tools that can help you implement them on your website.
E-books
The best electronic books offer answers to problems faced by their target readers. This could be anything from a detailed tutorial to a compiled list of your most helpful blog entries.
Demonstrating that you understand their plight, your e-book will strengthen your connection with your readership. If the e-book solves enough problems for the target audience, it will also establish you as an expert in that field. This increases the prospect that they will eventually become a paying client.
Website Live Chat Bot
Questions about your goods or services are inevitable as consumers progress from awareness to curiosity to desire.
Website chat allows you to generate leads by answering questions directly in a conversation before the buyer decides not to purchase. It’s a cheap and easy method to provide individual assistance to your site’s visitors without them having to resort to email or the phone.
It’s consistent with how today’s consumers to act. They have questions and want responses quickly, but they want to avoid going through many hoops (or standing in line) to get them. Having their queries answered is a common reason potential leads are lost.
Distributors offer free samples.
Complimentary product trials can attract new customers if they align with your business model. They help people “on the fence” about purchasing make up their minds by educating them about the merchandise.
You can assume that a prospect who requests a free trial is further along the sales funnel than one who simply wants to learn more about your company. Your goal now is not to simply inform them about a subject through content but rather to show them how your product can solve a problem they have. Providing a free trial is the best method to ensure their satisfaction.
Free demos
There are standard offerings from software companies. However, they are also effective in the car industry, where they are provided in the form of free test drives.
Lead creation webinars speak to people’s need for social interaction. It’s a win-win: potential customers can learn more about the business they’ll be doing business with, and the firm can gain exposure. Webinars help advance leads down the sales pipeline because they provide an opportunity to build rapport with potential customers.
Webinars are a lot of work to organize and host, but they can be very fruitful for generating leads if you highlight a particular outcome.
Use lead-fostering techniques.
After generating initial interest with lead magnets, the next step is nurturing that interest. There are two reasons why this procedure is crucial.
First, obtaining an email address from a site visitor is just the beginning, as they are typically still at the top of the sales funnel. Through your fostering efforts, you will move them closer to the “customer” stage of the funnel.
In addition, it is simpler to market to an existing lead than to a new site visitor, just as it is simpler to sell to a current client than to a new one. They’ve proven they want what you’re selling.
Email marketing is frequently utilized in the leadership development process. After delivering the lead magnet, a welcome sequence can effectively continue building rapport with the recipient. Once you’ve officially welcomed them onboard, you can send them anything from updates to posts to any supplementary materials you think they’ll find helpful. To maximize your email marketing efforts, consult this comprehensive guide.

Tumblr’s Drag Race Cycle 9 Reunited!
As our fan questions close, unfortunately Cycle 9 is coming to an end, and the time has come to reunite all of our sickening queens together in video form to answer questions from the judges and close out cycle 9! We’re very excited to end such a fun little cycle, but we have one last thing for our girls and that is a reunion video!
Questions will be sent out to you in personal messages and you must record a video including the following:
Introduce yourself to the TDR audience, just like “Hi, it’s ________ and I’m so happy to be back on your computer screen” or something cheesy like that.
Answer all judges’ and fan questions you received.
Who do you want to see win the crown? Say which of the remaining contestants team you are on and why?
Any final words, thoughts, and good byes.
A final 15 second runway walk to no music.
To Our Final 4:
Instead of declaring what team you are on, you must each include an “If I win” video as well as a Crowning speech to be included in the reunion in the event that you are crowned Tumblr’s Next Drag Superstar.
It is key that you should be in drag for these videos - as this is the last chance you get to show the community how much you have grown. The best way to submit your videos is through a full video on YouTube with breaks between each question and submitting it as a video link, or individually cutting your videos into each question/answer and submitting them via Google Drive. Our email is [email protected].
Your videos are due no later than Friday, 19th of May at 6PM EDT!
So for the last time ladies good luck & don’t fuck it up!

Hey hey hey Chickadees! Sorry I’ve been such a lazy dazy, I was off exploring the world. But now without further ado, here come’s Dee’s Review of the TDR girls, Week 2!
Analyse: Fucking stun. When I saw this paint, I gagged so damn hard. One of my favorite looks I’ve seen on TDR so far. The lips on your neck are absolutely the best part. And your body is getting better! You’re giving me female- the pads still need a biiiit of work, ( i would suggest pulling them a bit higher?) and maybe you could benefit from a bigger rack, but, overall, so fucking great. AND GLOVES!!! I’m so proud.
TOOT
Avanna: There’s a heck of a lot I really love about this look. The central piece is REALLY interesting and well constructed, looks very authentic but still chic. I love what you’re doing with the headpiece- now if only the hair and paint had been as bomb. Something about your eyes is off-putting this week, but I can’t really tell because you didn’t provide any really good closeup shot. Still, I really like it overall and think it’s a step up for you. AND THE NAILS!!!
TOOT
Daddie: Daddie, daddie, daddie, this is... so fucking cool!!!!!! I’m living and fucking dying for this look. You NAILED this aesthetic. Your fucking intense eye peeking out of that dada mess... I have no critics. This should be in a magazine. And the tits!!!!!!
TOOT
Dotte: Oh boy Dotte. I was super sad at how things turned out for you. I think you have a mountain of potential. That said, This look isn’t great at all. Boring, not giving me pointilism. Sorry to see you go.
BOOT
Ebony: When are you gonna wake up, babes?? Boring look after boring look. No WAY I would have known what your theme was without being told. Your makeup is really improving though, and thanks for the gloves. Still, it’s a
BOOT
Judah: God damn it, I wanna fucking die. I’ll have you know I LOVE art nouveau, and you absolutely smashed it. You look ethereal, beautiful, stunning, painterly, gr8.
TOOT
Klinker: Here she is again! Klinking along! Honey, I like this, I do, but if you want to make it far in TDR you’re gonna have to step up your production value. I’m digging the paint a LOT, and I like where you’re going with the outfit, but it still lacks polish. Look at Judah, Daddie, the direction Analyse is heading and others. I believe you can do it. Close call, but it’s a
BOOT
Lexi: g.... god fucking damn it. Do you know how much I’ve wanted you to turn in a turd so I can read? BUT YOU JUST KEEP SLAYING!!! Gurl, you would not be kicked out of any club on EARTH in this look. This is on par with some of the stuff icon Melee McQueen did. I’m shook, rattled and gagged. No negatives.
TOOT
Marcella: Another gift from Earth’s Most Beautiful Human Woman. I’m almost afraid to say it, but I don’t really... like this? I mean, your face is obviously a treasure as always. But the dress is just kind of weird? You’re obviously a very skilled painter, and it’s beautiful, but I don’t get what’s going on with the arm things, they look a bit (dare I say??) frumpy? Idk, it’s probably my personal taste. It’s still a
TOOT
Paprika: This looks like something I would do. I.e: pretty cute but not very well realized. I find you really charming, and I cant wait for a comedy challenge. AND PUT SOME FUCKING NAILS ON YOUNG LADY.
BOOT
Phoebe: Another solid and respectable look. I really like your paint, it’s very feminine while still being avante garde. And the shape you make is stun as always. That said, you aren’t on par with the best of the best this week. You need a little more spectaculation! Keep pushing miss St. Jefferson.
TOOT
Sugar: It’s a cute, signature Sugar look. Some day I dream of seeing you in something other than a mini dress. But reasonably well done.
