"I would move the mountains, make new trees and flowers grow.." Here she is, my first 2022 doll: Mirabel Madrigal! As soon as I saw Encanto (and how.. interesting the original doll looks..) I knew I had to repaint the doll :3 I struggled a bit during the first steps of the repaint to get her look right but it all came together eventually. I really hate the structure of the hair they gave her though, it was a bit hard to work with and it reminds me a lot of Moanas hair.. I originally didn't plan to do any other Encanto dolls but well.. DAY ONE OF THE DOLL MAKEOVER:

We eventually got a off brand doll that is the same size as a AG Doll. WELL the head was a lot harder to remove than a AG Doll. It took me an hour to get it off ugh. Anyways now that that's done ✔ we literally shaved her hair then pulled the rest of the hair out so we can put on the new hair when it comes in the mail (that I still need to order) AND put in the new eyes 👀 once those too eventually come in (I haven't ordered them yet sorry I'm slow 🐌).

A FEW THINGS I FORGOT TO SAY IN MY FIRST POST.

I am NOT the only one doing this project. My boyfriend and his family are helping us do this for my little sister and my family to keep it secret from them.

EVERY TIME I UPDATE I will ask a question on something that I need help with on this project or opinions on it looks at that time

THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE OVER QUICK. This is a big surprise for my family and mostly my sister SO we will be giving it to her on her birthday 🎂

QUESTION: I need to know if there's a way to get the head to turn once we put it back on because I accidentally broke the neck tool that made the dolls head turn while taking off the head THANK YOU!!

I found @dollightfully on YouTube and her dolls are so pretty 😍 I got a bit inspired and tried to give an old barbie of mine a new face. "All those days watching from the windows, all those years outside looking in..." Happy Christmas Season y'all 💜 I haven't been very active this year doll-wise but I really wanted to repaint this year's holiday doll. I was very excited when I learned that it will be Rapunzel - it's been long overdue to create a new repaint of her and finally try out the amazing new mold Disney provided :3 I had a lot of fun creating her! When I saw how long and beautiful her hair is I didn't wanna put it back in a braid - I'm also not too fond of the piece of hair on the top of the original dolls head - so I took inspiration from some concept arts. Now you can see her flower crown a bit better :3 Hope you like her :3 I can't wait to see who will be featured as next year's holiday doll - strongly hope it will be Belle. Who would you like to see? I've been working on many dolls in the background all year long so I have a lot of wip's. Hope to finish some of them in the next couple of weeks.
