mulder not owning a bed is such a minor character detail that’s encompassing of practically the entirety of who he is, which is so crazy honestly

thinking about Izzy walking around the whole ship pulling out every other candle from the hallways, from the rooms, especially from stede's fancy candle stashes, just for his dramatic 'relearning the basics' moment

whenever i don’t know what to draw i always just end up making absolutely insane and dumb doodles such as these

Watching the first few episode of My Adventures With Superman with the knowledge that Jimmy knew THE WHOLE TIME makes half of his dialogue/actions SO MUCH MORE FUNNY

I know 'person with secret to hide spots other person with secret to hide but doesn't say anything' is like. Thee trope in superhero crossovers, but come on! Some of these guys have been doing this for decades! There's tons of heroes that have gone to pretty extreme lengths to be Completely Imperceptible in civilian life.

Don't you think it's scarier, after all is said and done, to sit there and think I didn't notice a thing? I wouldn't have ever realised? I would never have known? To know that someone you were familiar with - close with, even! - had this whole other personality and skillset and powers and experiences and life just behind the curtain, and they hid it so completely you didn't even see it was there.

'I always knew there was something off' what if you didn't. How world shaking would it be to be so utterly blindsided? To know that this person had somehow learned to so deceptive?

if hr existed in the diviner's commission i bet qingque would file a complaint a week against fu xuan, but also all of said complaints would be something like "she forced me to write a report on the work i did today wtf" or "she made me go to work today this is messed up" or something. and the people in charge would be like ??? aren't you getting paid to do just that???

but also i will never forget that the heliobus showed us that she would love for fu xuan to be her secretary she has an affair with (it's true trust me.) so she really can't complain about her boss having a crush on her

me age seven being sat down in front of the school’s district child psych lady and being given strange, simple spatial puzzles to solve and then long, complicated worksheets and hammering my way through them at the speed of light while having zero comprehension what their purpose was or why i was here: this is urgent! i have to get a good grade in Weird Puzzles, Or Else, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve,

While it’s obviously canon that Chris has an inferiority complex to Wyatt, I think that Melinda also has a complex relationship with being “Wyatt’s sister” and how she’s viewed through that lens. It’s definitely not the same thing at all, but I do think that it’s definitely a factor for her relationship with Wyatt and the magical community as well. 

With that said, I don’t necessarily think that Wyatt really gets Chris or Mel’s issues with it, but I do think that he’s at least aware of them. There are a lot of italics in that sentence, but my main thought is that Wyatt has, at the very least, the knowledge that both of his siblings dislike the way that they’re perceived or seen through/as their relationship to him.

Which is why I think that one of the fastest ways to get Wyatt to like you, beyond just the immediate surface level, is to flip the script to prioritize Chris/Mel respectively. Like Bianca meets Wyatt and just goes, so you’re Chris’s brother and Wyatt is immediately like. I like her :)

Do you actually notice a difference/feel time changes (IE "falling back", "springing forward", travelling to a different timezone, etc)?
