had a mostly peaceful life until her mother was brutally raped and murdered. their family fell into ruins. her father killed himself two weeks later, leaving her oldest sister to deal with the aftermath.

older sister is trying her best to marry all of her younger sisters off while desperately wishing she could get married herself to her longtime boyfriend, but believes she needs to settle most of her siblings before she can.

now that she's eighteen, there is an abundance of pressure on her shoulders to settle down, yet rhonda doesn't want to. that's part of the reason she started casually going out with action. rhonda knows he won't want to settle down anytime soon.

brother left the family once he turned eighteen, which took a huge financial blow to the rest of the family. they keep very quiet about him. as far as everyone is aware, he's dead.

has a job waitressing until she does get married. rhonda didn't do well enough in school to go to college and the coast of it is too much for their family.
