HOW TO GET POSTAL ID IN PH AS NEW 18 YEARS-OLD
Didn't know how? Or just curious?
Well, I still search about it many times before actually starting to get one for the first time.
I made sure I have my original birth certificate with me and some 1x1 picture of myself.
I have also waited for my student ID for further assurance.
CEDULA
So anyway, I first visited the Barangay hall which fortunately have a postal office inside.
A person at the counter was very informative and helpful.
(He told me about getting a cedula first for Barangay Clearance application and where I could even get one)
Arriving at the said place, a person near the gate help and pointed out the stack of short form to be answered and to be handed inside.
(I somehow found the place a bit like a hospital for testing and stuff)
I was only asked to sign and pay. A little thin form was handed back (I don't have it anymore since I gave it for application).
(I secretly found out that height and weight can be inaccurately written)
BARANGAY CLEARANCE
Finally getting the cedula, I managed to acquire my Barangay Clearance.
We just need to fill out an application form and wait, get flash by a camera for a second, and pay a little sum.
(I was also asked for a 1x1 picture and a printed copy of my original PSA birth certificate)
POSTAL OFFICE
There was a fixed schedule and you still really need to wait no matter what in the process.
(I primarily need to answer another application form and pay a much higher price)
When your name is finally called out, you'll be asked to come inside to wait again for a picture, signature, and thumb taking.
(You can asked for a redo, especially in signature)
After all of these, you should end up with a two page receipt.
Note: To be honest, my mother accompanied me, and I barely managed to say anything to anyone there.
(I still wasn't able to fetch my ID today coz I'm busy)

should be illegalllll to require me to put a photo on a website for a fellowship bio!!!!!!! WHY do investors need to know what my face looks like. I have 0 photos that are not blurry, too close, too far, half-out-of-frame or in which I am not making an expression best termed “smug discomfort”
