the thing about imogen saying that "if getting rid of delilah means getting rid of [launda] too, it's not worth it" is that it doesn't really change anything, does it? yes it provides laudna with reassurance that she is loved regardless of what lives in her head, but it doesn't mean that imogen doesn't still have negative feelings about delilah being there. "I love you more than I hate delilah" doesn't mean she isn't still disgusted by delilah. I get the sense that this is not an important distinction for imogen--she's said her piece, she's told laudna that she matters more, and that's the end of it for her. laudna matters more. her meaning is crystal clear: I love you and I'm choosing you.

but laudna has been obsessed with imogen saying she was disgusted by delilah watching them. she said herself she can't stop thinking about it, and marisha has said she can't stop thinking about it either, out of game. as far as they know currently, delilah's soul is twined in and around laudna's to the point where they are indistinguishable. the only way to get rid of delilah is to lose laudna. laudna doesn't know where she ends and delilah begins. imogen loves her, but imogen is disgusted by delilah. how does that work if they are one and the same? how does laudna cope with the fact that an inextinguishable part of herself is both genuinely evil and hated by the person she loves the most? at what point does being disgusted by delilah become being disgusted by a piece of laudna herself?

vox would be thinking about alastor when he's not there, alastor usually wouldn't be thinking of vox when he's not there. HOWEVER, if they were put in a room together, alastor would NOT miss any opportunity to mess with vox because he's a piece of shit like that. like he could theoretically just not do anything if they were in the same room but he would choose to mess with vox because he thinks it's funny. like do you get what I mean.

The glyphs represent a few things in the narrative but one thing that's consistent is they're always there when Luz doesn't feel like she's good enough on her own. They appear to her as comfort in moments of self depreciation or self doubt, or she coincidentally learns them in episodes where she faces her fear of rejection or makes a mistake (at least this is true in terms of the first four base glyphs she discovers). It's the titans way of saying "you may have to do things differently, but you can do anything they can do" to Luz bc he cares about her

think we as a society really underutilize the potential for like sculk!etho headcanons. he is a ninja after all and he was also the first person in double life to reach the enchanter, the first person to enchant, and the first person to use the sculk sensor as a successful murder weapon. he’s also known for being quiet, sneaky, and crafty, keeping his plans close to his chest. his favorite tools are ender pearls and invis potions. hes a perfect foil to scar's rambling, theatrical salesman act. and in double life, scar died to a sculk trap planted by etho set off by his own voice while he was leaning into the whole salesman schtick, and then his soulmate got killed by the warden later on. i just think theres a lot of potential for like... etho being some kind of sculk creature that the deep dark yields for or whatever, and scar being whatever the Opposite of that is, hence why they are constantly at odds. idk
