#toontober - 1920-1930s Disney character. For this one I had to look at so many different Mickey photo references from the early 1900s. He seems to only have a few signature poses from that era lol! I wanted to try him as I have never attempted an old mickey version. I love the old retro eyes coming back in style. Die Schmetterlingstoasts waren meine allererste gezeichnete Disney Szene, da es sich tatsächlich auch um eine meiner liebsten Disney Erinnerungen handelt. Den Film insgesamt mag ich sehr gerne, insbesondere die vielen skurrilen Wesen, die in dieser Geschichte einfach einzigartig sind. Trotz neuer Verfilmung gefällt mir die alte Trickfilm Version bis heute am meisten.

I’ve created a piece based on each film from this era, in the style of a children’s book illustration! They are drawn digitally on an iPad and take around 8-16 hours each.
