when i saw this photo get slid across my desk, i lost my mind. i remembered this from the days of my youth. a classic post truly. i had to find it. thinkin' it would be easy to find, i went to the address listed in the photo, only to find it was completely abandoned. no lead there. so, i took to the Search Bar. walkin' in, i noticed that they had some live music playin' today. normally they just have the radio goin'. a nice change of pace for sure. i walked up to the Don and slid him the photo, askin' for specifically the phrase "spiderman dances to the beat." they cracked open their briefcase, reached in, and pulled out the post in all its glory. that's when i noticed, the gif in the post was dancin' on beat to the live music playin'. that "friendly neighborhood" menace has done it again. i went and filed it away...

hey if u guys r sad about ofmd and want another show with gay people to watch you should consider watching Deadloch. It’s really good it’s really really good uh it might get a second season if the creators decide to do that.

if you watch good omens you’ll be able to watch Deadloch they’re on the same service. Uhhhh One of the actors from ofmd is there shes one half of the main duo (the other half is played by Kate Box who’s an amazing actor and Dulcie is now one of my fav characters ever) gets to wear an open Hawaiian shirt for like 3 of the 8 episodes which is a bonus. It’s extremely gay and it’s fun and beautifully written and no queer characters die and it’s satisfying and funny and Please watch it I’m begging you please watch itPLEASE

idk i just think it’s a little weird that almost every character who gets the “innocent baby” / “little ray of sunshine” treatment usually ends up just having neurodivergent traits and actual negative traits in the show that nobody pays attention to. like idk man it just feels like diet infantilization to me and it’s a teeny weeny bit uncomfortable to see all the time

Loving all the takes on Hoffmans humanity n the psychology behind his eventual hissy fit but I feel like the biggest glaring issue in that mans psyche is the complete loneliness. Angie was his only family, she died. His workplace relationships all fall flat no matter how much he tries to socialize and then they all die too (by his own hand, sure, but you see what I mean right). He's hopeless but not in a needy way and people find him offputting. He doesn't even have any relationships of note with the jigsaw gang, John degrades him for bad work and Amanda loathes him for never being tested (and for being a cop), and who knows what Larrys got against him but it's clearly something bc he keeps sending him thinly veiled threats. Like it's just Hoffman and his huge honkers in this cold world. Then they put him in time out?? Baby he needs a therapist.

what should've been an easy task turned out to be rather hard to find. i went to the first username and searched for a wide variety of keyword combinations, but it yielded no results. i went to the second blog and did the same thing, and it yielded nothin' once again. i checked the archive of the second blog and found nothin'. i snooped around in Madame Curator's hellsite museum while she wasn't around, but once again, nothin'.

that's when, with nowhere else to turn, i went down to my source, google. i asked them for " tumblr this has to be the worst picture ever taken of a football player" and they handed me a link to a seemingly random blog. clickin' this link brought me no closer, but i knew they had to have it. why else would the phrase pop up? so i took a look in their archive, and found exactly what i was lookin' for.

I wasn't sure if I could mention this here since you primarily focus on the NDO (and Makoto), but like...Seth Burroughs also looks like he'd be sick a lot. Like he's so pale that he looks grey, and I swear a stiff breeze could knock him over. Like something about him just makes my "oh no I need to take care of him" instincts flare up.

Yes agreed. Poor Seth is so pale he may as well be dead tbh. I’d never seen a more frail unhealthy looking man in my life. (other than maybe vivia x’D) I remember his profile even says so.

So if he were to get a cold, high fever or any sort of sickness, he’d be taken down literally instantly. Man doesn’t even have the willpower or energy to try to fight the illness. He’d just be on the floor like “let me die” (inb4 vivia’s watching him as a ghost saying “same man same”) hell, he would probably be mistaken for a hospital patient and taken to the ER.

Also the fact his voice is hardly audible…it’d just be GONE here. His throat would be so flared ip that any time he speaks, nothing would come out. Only PAIN. Nothing but deep raspy noises. He’d have to communicate with a notebook or something.

Seth is actually the only Peacekeeper I legitimately felt sorry for. So I hope he can find himself a nice caretaker in these icky times 🌡️🤧
