#SAGT DOCH EINFACH GLEICH WENN ER ZWEI STUNDEN ZU SPÄT KOMMT DANN BESTELL ICH MIR NE PIZZA HER #ich hab gedacht ja hab ja noch ein brot das reicht ich bin um halb 1 daheim aber nein #ich hab seit freitag morgen so 3-4h geschlafen #ich bin müde mir ist kalt ich hab hunger und das wc ist natürlich auch abgesperrt #wann komm ich zuhause an? schlaf ich in nem hotel in salzburg oder wart ich bis 02:09 dann und fahr so dass ich um 5 oder so in ibk bin?#fahr ich direkt mit dem komischen anschluss und steig zweimal um und wart ne halbe stunde verlassenen bahnhöfen und bin um halb vier daheim?#ich wollt erst nichtmal herkommen aber dann war der tag echt gut und jetzt dieser bs #und für die nächsten paar zugfahrten hab ich schienenersatz. funktioniert sicher gut.#ich will schlafen und ein paar tage urlaub bitte ich komm eh schon mit nichts irgendwo hinterher und hab jetzt noch emails wegen denen ich #vielleicht mein studium abbrechen werde #aber alles gut ich muss nicht schlafen oder so #nö ich glaub ich nehm einen zug und fall daheim ins bett statt dass ich erst morgen irgendwann heimkomme #mine #db x öbb a lovestory in how to make your customers upset #like i know it's not their fault and whatnot but the problem management is 💫 not great

Habe fünf Stunden Zugfahrt vor mir und bevor ich überhaupt in den ersten Zug gestiegen bin ist mir meine Wasserflasche, in der süßer Tee war, in alle Einzelteile zersprungen. Habe jetzt

a) nichts mehr zu trinken auf fünf Stunden Zugfahrt

b) eine Reisetasche voller Glassplitter

c) eine nasse Reisetasche und da was mein Laptop drin.

Zusammenfassend kill me now.

I’ve been seeing at least a handful of my mutuals reblogging stuff from the latest hunger games property and reblogging old gif sets from when the first movie had come out and like, after going back and trying to watch the first movie after rereading the trilogy last year, I HAD to turn it off somewhere around the train-ride-to-the-Capitol scene bc between the careless, sloppy camera work and the refusal to shell out the budget for two younger actors and actresses to play our main characters as being eleven years old when they’re already being played by the comically adult looking Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutchinson like, in any scene at the reaping just looking at the disparity between the actual children they’ve cast to be extras and then there’s Jlaw standing around looking like she’s in her mid twenties…

Basically I saw the first hunger games movie as a blatant cash grab, a sloppily made blatant cash grab at that, the shitty camera work drives the “let’s cash in on this new hot property” message home clear enough. And we all know how completely and utterly the media frenzy around the franchise amplified all the worst most non important bits (think of all the Capitol Couture nail polish & beauty lines and the focus on the love triangle), like I know they got rid of shaky cam in the sequels but I haven’t bothered to rewatch them because, like, if I had to turn off the first movie bc it was Making Me Cringe Dutch, I am not feeling like, overwhelmingly enthusiastic about checking out to see if the other films are just as bad (as I remember them being cough).

So that brings us to the prequel I haven’t read and the prequel movie I haven’t seen. I hope I’m not sounding like a snob when I say this, but surely the idea of an author returning to a franchise they’ve made a fortune off of to create some ~hidden backstory~ that makes the events of the original trilogy just ~soooo much deeper you guise~ is… yknow… backfill to a foregone conclusion. Right? Idk lol

#if you’re wondering if tlou2 has simply just made me deeply cynical regarding sequels after the conclusion of a story in a work of media #you would be correct but I also feel right about it #ask to tag lol #genuinely not trying to dump on anyone’s Yum I just don’t get it personally. I’ve been burned too bad before lol #also yes I reference kek or cringe with Dutch van der Linde in this post #partially because simply whenever something makes me cringe to the point I can’t watch it now I just go ‘ITS MAKING ME CRINGE DUTCH’#before turning it off #but also because #obviously #rdr2 is a prequel which adds additional tragedy context for the original tragic ending of rdr2010 #And I Think It Accomplishes This Well (repetitive late game story missions regardless)#so really maybe I’m wrong maybe sometimes writers return to a property after ten or eight years bc they genuinely have new context #which builds upon the foundation made by the original property #but idk I do feel very skeptical of this hunger game prequel that’s all I’m saying lol

Mir braucht kein Superreicher erzählen wollen, dass er der Welt etwas Gutes tun will. Superreiche wie Musk, Gates, Bezos,... verdienen pro Stunde mehr, als einige Menschen auf der Erde in ihrer Lebenszeit. Sie sind die Einzigen, die finanzielle Mittel zur Verfügung haben, wie kein anderer.

Wenn man der Welt wirklich etwas gutes tun wollen würde, wäre das, meiner Meinung nach, den Welthunger zu beenden. Natürlich würde es mehrere Milliarden kosten, diesen zu beenden, aber es würde der Menschheit erstens mehr bringen als alles, was die Firmen dieser Superreichen herstellen und zweitens wäre das für sie ein Betrag vergleichbar mit dem eines Durchschnittsverdieners in 3 Monaten. Könnte ich mit nur 3 Monatsgehältern den Welthunger beenden, würde ich es machen.

Natürlich haben sie ein gutes Recht, ihr Geld für das auszugeben, was sie wollen. Keiner kann von ihnen erwarten, dass sie den Welthunger beenden. Aber dann brauchen sie mir nicht mehr erzählen, dass sie der Menschheit wirklich etwas gutes wollen. In Wahrheit wollen sie nur weiter ihre unendlich tiefen Taschen füllen.

Die Menscheit ist und bleibt eine ekelhafte, selbstsüchtige und heuchlerische Spezies.

Oh well. Eigentlich wollte ich ja nur eben noch Nele fragen, wegen dem Filmfestival diesen Sommer. Einfach nur die eine Nachricht schreiben, nur kurz nachhaken, ob man sich da zufällig mal wiedersieht. Eigentlich keine große Sache.

... aber fünf Minuten später verliert man sich zusammen in den Erinnerungen ans letzte Jahr, weil man da teilweise bei denselben Filmen war, ohne sich zu sehen. Und dann grinst man wieder so doof und wird wieder so hibbelig und das war's dann wohl mit der Schlafenszeit vor Mitternacht 🙃
