you were engaged to a noble man from the empire, supposed to be married to him as soon as you'd graduate from the officers academy
yet you hated the man that was supposed to be your husband and wanted nothing to do with him
but because of your crest and the situation your family was in, you couldn't disobey them, even if you wanted to
you didn't love your fiance, nor would you ever fall in love with him. after all, your heart already belonged to your kind classmate…
dedue was always there for you, always comforting you when your fiance was being horrible to you and he always treated you with so much love and respect that you couldn't help but be in love with him
dedue always listened to your troubles and tried to help you out as best as he could, even if he knew his suggestions wouldn't lead to anything
like that one time you were crying in his arms after your fiance had hit you, only for dedue to tell you that if things ever escalated like this again, you should run away from him and never look back
perhaps you took him a bit too serious in that moment, looking up at him through teary eyes, asking him if he'd run away with you
dedue hesitated to reply, seeing how serious you were about this, but instead of backing out of this and playing it off as a joke, you doubled down on it
you confessed to dedue, finally saying out loud what you felt for so long now. that you wished you could be with him instead, that you wanted to run away with him and spend the rest of your life with him
dedue knew that he shouldn't agree. you were already engaged, soon to be married, and he was the prince's loyal retainer, supposed to stay by his side forever
and yet, dedue agreed to your proposal. he couldn't turn you down, not when he loved you and knew that you'd be so much happier with him…
dedue and you ended up eloping a few weeks later, just after graduation
with the help of dimitri, who knew about your plan to run off together, you two escaped to faerghus, specifically a small town near fhirdiad
there was a modest house waiting for the two of you there, that dimitri had offered the two of you as a wedding gift
aside from dimitri, only a few of your former classmates knew about your relationship and the place you stayed at
though your family and your ex-fiance never found out where you went and you and dedue got married soon after arriving at your new home, with your former classmates secretly attending the wedding

“This is,” the tanned man paused, and his white brows furrowed. “Not the ideal time for this, Professor.”
“It’ll be alright,” she told him, positioning herself on his thigh. “Besides, we’ve got nothing better to do while we wait for dinner to finish.”
The Duscun man glanced around quietly, his large hands finding their place on her hips naturally. When he didn’t see any other former students or soldiers, he could feel himself begin to give in. A small sigh escaped him as he nodded his assent, and the former mercenary gave him a small smile before leaning forward and kissing him softly.
Her lips were soft and moved against his like silk, he could feel the part of his mind that told him he was unworthy of her begin to awake once more, but he suppressed it. He prioritized giving her a good time over his own feelings of insufficiency. Dedue brought one of his hands up and placed it against the back of her head, running it gently through her lightened locks. Byleth was beautiful, both before she was goddess touched and after.
The army commander’s arms wrapped around his neck, and she ran her fingers through the shortened hair thoughtfully. She hummed against his lips, her own opening in order to entice his tongue. He couldn’t help but oblige. Their tongues met, hers more incessant and his slower. He wondered what had her in such a hurry, but decided he’d match her enthusiasm.
Dedue rubbed his thumbs against her exposed back. She tilted her head to the side and deepened the kiss, and he could feel himself grow more excited. His other fingers played with the waistband of her shorts in a teasing manner, and he began to move her up and down along his thigh. The former professor made a small noise against his lips, and he felt the tingle at the base of his skull.
He wanted more. Dedue, normally, really only appreciated his large stature for battle purposes but when she fit so perfectly against him, so small and pliable in his warm hands encompassing the expanse of her abdomen, he couldn’t help but appreciate it that much more. With those oversized hands, calloused from years of using an axe, he gripped her hips with more force and began to rub her against the fat of his thigh. The loyal vassal could feel the heat of her sex through both her shorts and his trousers and he tightened his jaw as he pulled away.
She placed her hands against his shoulders, her mouth opening minimally as she began to ride his thigh with his manual guidance. Her breathing picked up, her precious brow furrowed in pleasure as she thrust herself against him. His body tingled, his member rising as he watched her chase her high against him. He loved her slight changes in her breathing, the rise and fall of her breasts, the slight flush across her cheeks and the tips of her ears, as she ground herself fully on his thigh.
Dedue’s eyes widened when he began to feel her wetness soak through their clothes. His jaw almost fell at the thought. Was she that turned on? Had he made her that desperate? He leaned toward her, hunching himself slightly, and licked a stripe across her lips before pressing sloppy kisses against her pale neck. He wanted nothing more than to thrust up into her, feel her familiar heat wrapped around him, and to paint her inner walls white. Before he did any of that, he’d let her reach her peak against him. “I like it when you use me like this,” he whispered against her skin.
Byleth moaned softly, moving her hands up and down against his chest. She was squirming, pressing her sex harder and harder against his leg with every thrust. He moved her, manipulating her body to match the pace of his leg, which he pressed up and into her to help her along. The tanned man nipped at her exposed cleavage and felt himself throb in desire. His trousers grew uncomfortable as they restrained him and he bit her flesh a bit harder than he intended.
“Dedue,” she grunted, her arms reaching up to wrap around his neck again and push him flush against her chest. “Harder.”
He shivered. How could he disobey his professor? His teeth ran along her flesh again and he bit the top of the soft globe, hard. She whimpered, her head flying back and her hips moving in fast succession. He knew she was close, could tell by the wet spot on his clothes and the erratic movements of her lower body. His grip squeezed her plump flesh, her own breathing picked up. Dedue sat back up to watch her face. “Go ahead, Byleth.”
She pressed her lips together tightly, her enticing green eyes closing. Her hips lost all sense of rhythm as she brought herself to the height of pleasure. “D-Dedue,” she breathed, and he groaned. He brought her down on his thigh, hard, and he felt it as she came. The excess fluids left her and dripped down through his clothes and soaked his naked flesh beneath. He cursed; his cock begged for that wet heat incessantly.
There was an obvious wet spot over his tip and the back of his mind chided him for all the laundry he’d have to do. His deft fingers began to pull at her waistband, determined to get inside of her, her own hands shaking and moving eagerly to undo the ties of his pants. He smiled, his experience telling him that she needed more to be satisfied and he was more than willing to give it. But before he could remove her shorts, before she could bring relief to his aching cock, they both heard footsteps begin to approach the dining hall.
Their eyes met as they prayed the person would walk past, that their true intentions were beyond their temporary haven. But much to their dismay, the light steps only grew closer and closer, as they began to enter the large room. Dedue bit back a groan, his own disappointment and agitation obvious in his frown, his lover seemed to be feeling the same as a small pout graced her typically emotionless lips. She removed herself from his lap, his member throbbed in protest. He felt the familiar ache of his balls and wanted nothing more than to push the goddess-touched woman against the counter and enter her from behind.
“Oh, Dedue, professor!” It was Flayn, her innocent smile wide as she watched them, unaware of what she had interrupted. “There you two are I—” she cut herself off as she sniffed the air, her head tilting to the side like a small dog. “Do you smell something burning?”
His eyes widened, Byleth’s mind seemed to go to the same place as his own. He jumped up from his seat while the former mercenary made a beeline for the stove. She lowered the heat, and he lifted the lid off the stew to check on its contents. It did, indeed, smell burnt, and he sighed as he realized it looked burnt. “I’ll take the blame,” his lover stated plainly. “I’ll help you hunt for more rations,” he paused. “And plant more vegetables.”

I really liked your Seteth x Reader fic. Do you think Seteth considers his "true" name to be Cichol and that it would be more emotional for him to be called such, or do you think Seteth is his chosen name and that he prefers being addressed by this name at this stage in his life?
In my humble opinion, Seteth's given name being Cichol is certainly special to him. Throughout the many years, hundreds if not a few thousand, he recognizes that as his calling and only name. At that point in his life he considers Cichol to be his “true” name. The name given him when he was born. The name that he grew up with in his family, arguing with and being rowdy, rough housing with his brothers. The name his beautiful wife called him and filled him with joy whenever he heard her say it. It has so much emotion and feelings tied to its use.
Then, as sometimes it happens with beings that live extremely long lives, it behooves them to get lost within the rabble, take on a new name, a new location, and a new identity. The humans he lives among do not live for even a hundred years. Eventually they would discover a few of his secrets, notice that he is different. Humans do not understand that which is different. Different is wrong, misunderstood and feared. That which humans fear is hated and destroyed. Before things reach that point, he must disappear, and reappear in another place, reinvented.
This would be easy for a man on his own, however he has been blessed with a daughter. A daughter who fought alongside in a great war, suffered great injury and was in a restorative sleep for many, many years. He is her only protector. For her he will do anything that is necessary to guard her and her wellbeing. He would sequester himself away from all mankind, living on a distant seashore with only the birds and wild animals to keep him company to keep his only child safe in his care while she sleeps.
As we meet Seteth (as he calls himself currently) he poses as brother to his own daughter. It was his opinion that they would blend in more easily than if he were to say she is his daughter. For the security and safety of his daughter, he prefers the name Seteth. The location, at the church, surrounded by the history that shared of Saint Cichol, he knows how dangerous that could be. Kidnap Flayn, and the evildoers could possibly have a genuine bona fides Saint playing on their team.
As an act of great faith, trust and deep love with another person, it is possible that he would reveal his “true” name to another, to only be used in a manner of utmost confidentiality and only between the two of them. (plus Flayn/Cethleann).

(off the record, I think it would be extremely romantic for him to tell his beloved that they may call him Cichol. The trust, the love, must surely be immense for him to agree to that!)

advice for teen authors?
First: do what you love, love what you do. Write for yourself first and foremost. If you write and do not like it or even hate it, how can you expect anyone else enjoy it?
Write. Write a lot, write all the time. Write good stuff. Write great stuff. Write things others won’t like. Write for yourself. Write in different styles. See what types of writing you feel most comfortable with.
Read. Learn from reading. Study other writers. Read books about your favorite subjects, remember those writers know how to get their work published. Reading gives insight as to how writers develop their characters, their plot. How to pace a story. How do they end a story? How do they begin it?
Develop your skills of observation. What happens when you eat a piece of toast? Sight, sound, smell, touch, feel, emotion, physical attributes, everything. Use all of your senses when writing, it brings your words to life. Keep notebooks and diaries about what interests you. What may have been a strange thought in your head before bed last week can suddenly be turned into a pivotal point in your next story.
Travel. See the world. Write it down as you go. Every single time I have traveled to someplace new, I buy a new notebook, filling it with the experiences. I write about things happening, people I have met, someone or something looking unusual. I make notes about something said that caught my attention, how someone saw a different side to things. While you are at it, take photos. Tons of photos. I take pictures of everything, a building, the sidewalk, marks on the walls, interesting carvings above a doorway.
There are a million resources available on the internet. Subscribe to some writing idea and writing improvement tumblrs, ones to help with writing better, follow blogs giving you ideas, look into those writing tips provided. I’ve reblogged quite a few different great blogs in the past. Don’t overwhelm yourself. Small steps forward lead to the greatest improvements.
Find friends, seek help from experts, take classes. Learn more about writing. Join a discord server where other people write stories like yours. Improve your vocabulary. Dictionaries & thesauruses are wonderful. Powerthesaurus.org is amazing. It can give definitions synonyms antonyms, thesaurus results then suggests words, phrases and idioms.
Talk to people. Maybe you are shy or introverted. Perhaps you can speak with someone in your own family? My grandmother shared so many stories of her youth, things were very very different at that time. I wish that I could have published her biography, she lived through so many different events. Some of her stories have become part of my stories. It makes me happy to the point of tears that I can include her stories as part of my own.
Being a teen is hard. Go easy on yourself. Write. Maybe you will keep writing. Maybe you will take a break for 10 years and come back to it. That's fine. There are a million other things I would love to tell you that I've learned or found interesting that perhaps may be useful to you as well.

pairing: dedue molinaro x fem!reader
summary: the last time you saw dedue was five years ago, before the war started. after looking for you all this time, he finally finds you. but you're not alone anymore...

dedue had thought he would never see you again. it's been five years since the two of you were last together in the monastery. back then you had just confessed your feelings to him, before the war broke out. he still remembered that last night he spent with you, how close the two of you had been. and then war split the two of you apart. until today.
dedue had found his way back to his former classmates and now that he was by dimitri's side again, the two of them were looking for you. they could really use your help winning the war, sure. but dedue honestly just wanted to see you again. he needed to know you were doing okay.
it had been so long since you two last saw each other. he wondered if you would even recognize him. if you maybe still felt the same about him. or if you had moved on since your last time together…
dedue and dimitri had followed rumors about you, that led them to a small cottage in the woods, just a bit outside of town. dedue first thought those rumors had to be wrong. after all, you were a noble! you had always lived in large mansions with servants attending your every need. and yet, here you were, inside a small cabin. all alone. well, not quite.
"dedue…?"
you looked at the large man standing in front of your door. next to him was the prince of the holy kingdom of farghus, who was presumed to be dead. neither of them should be here and yet they were. and somehow they had found you.
"w-what…? how are you–"
you just stared at dedue, barely even looking at dimitri. after all, dedue was the man you loved. and the reason you had lost everything…
"mommy…?"
dedue's eyes widened as he heard a child's voice from inside. even dimitri looked shocked, turning his head towards his friend.
you hurried back inside, leaving the door open behind you. the two men didn't hesitate and followed you inside, where they saw the child that had been calling out to you. you had picked up the small boy, holding him in your arms. and he looked just like him.
judging by the look of it, that child must be around four years old. plus the nine months it took before he came to this world… dedue quickly put two and two together. this was his child! it had to be! the small boy looked just like him…
"i didn't know…"
he tried to speak up, but you softly shook your head and stopped him.
"didn't know i was pregnant? well, i didn't know you were alive until now, so that makes us even…"
dimitri, who had been quiet since arriving here, finally spoke up.
"that's why you weren't with your family anymore, right? they wouldn't accept a child from a man of duscur…"
dedue's eyes widened. was he telling the truth? had your family disowned you because of him? because of his child?
"they made me choose. my son or the rest of my family. i made my decision… and i would chose him again and again!"
the child on your arm smiled innocently. he probably didn't quite understand the gravity of the situation, just excited to meet some new people after living isolated for so long. you carefully let him down again, before bending down and smiling.
"how about you show our new friend around the house a little?"
you pointed towards dimitri, who quickly got the message. you probably didn't want your son to hear more about his past than necessary. not when he was still so young.
dimitri took the child's hand, heading into another room and leaving you alone with dedue. once it was just the two of you, dedue carefully approached you. he was overwhelmed by the situation, worried he would say the wrong thing. still, he had to say something! this was his child after all…
"i… i'm so sorry"
dedue took both of your hands, gently holding them between his own.
"i'm sorry for not being here. for leaving you alone with your…our child!"
"you didn't do it on purpose, dedue. it was the war that made us part ways. i know you would've stayed by my side if it had been different"
you had become so mature since the last time the two of you had met. you were shouldering all of those responsibilities all by yourself. dedue admired you for this, but he wished things could've been different. you deserved to live a peaceful life for a little longer.
"i'm never going to leave your side again, y/n!"
dedue swore, a serious expression resting on his face.
"from now on, you won't have to do this alone anymore. i'll make up for all the time we lost. i'll take care of our child, i'll talk to your family and convince them to take you back! and i'll win this war for you. once i did this, you can finally live the peaceful life you deserve, my love…"
